i'm glad I read this thread, The little I do know of him, he does throw away alot of money, I feel he could have used some to generate a better forum.

I have my own forum, but I dont spam it here, even tho I could, mainly because I have respect, I would not be known if not for this forum, I dont want to steal any users, but rather have mine as a backup.

I do believe he would pay up, but I cant spend that much time on an eye-sore site sorry.

956  Economy / Auctions / selling a mostly working C1 unit UK ONLY on: September 04, 2015, 11:47:51 AM
Hiya all  Grin

I have another piece of failing hardware see pic

as you can see card 4 is just not responding, so rather than have a look, I will just get rid.

I just refreshed miner as you can see, I have not updated firmware or messed with anything!

Many people have benefited from my auctions as most of the time it's something simple. but I do not guarantee anything.

This come complete with a new pump/res (not the stock one a that leaked) all pipes.

THERE WILL BE NO FLUID SENT TO REDUCE WEIGHT, please do not fill with water, this needs proper pc cooling liquid.

Auction starts at 0.5BTC min inc 0.005BTC this included UK shipping, I would prefer to keep this in UK, I will send most E.U. but you need to add the extra.

To stop ninja bidding, auction will end 15 min after last bid, and keep going until a full 15 min has passed since last bid!

Auction ends wed 9th at 10PM (England time)

As all ways, I will accept escrow, I prefer sebatianju but any of the big one are cool with me.

**please note, I am actually away this weekend, I ill try and get on the forum as and when I can to answer anything.

ask any questions.

959  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Canadian Bitcoin Mining Hosting Solution ($75 CAD per 1 KwH/month) on: September 01, 2015, 06:32:16 PM
Great news, now I just need a miner, all the sales threads for those in Canada, your the first one to answer  Roll Eyes

let me know if you can help me out with a unit or two  Grin

lool, well I try to find a few good deals here and there where I can get them. Now that we have cheap power it makes sense to pickup a few miners if the price is right. There are still some sales from Canadian miners I think. There is one guy in Sudbury who is selling S5s for $340 US I think. Heck if you bought some you can have them mailed to our Toronto shipping address and we'll drive them up to Labrador.

Another option is to buy from US sellers on the East coast. Shipping from the North East to Labrador should be reasonably priced.

We don't really have any worthwhile gear for sale yet. We are thinking of buying bulk gear and offering cloud mining or actual miners for sale but we're not at that growth stage yet.

Just an open question I think should be shared, As I am a non-Canadian resident, would I have to prove it for your records?
I would like to pay paypal if possible, this is a varified UK account if that helps.

Basically asking if your KYC?

best.
960  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] sp20e in hosting Washington on: September 01, 2015, 11:10:33 AM

How can you be profitable at that high KwH price? THat's like $0.14 per Kwh. Might as well host it yourself.

I'd have run the miner downclocked at like 1.1TH which should have pulled quite a bit less.

Also not sure what they mean but when you have a bad asic/die on an SP20 it simply did NOT use power. I have had MANY SP20's and when I was messign with the settings and had a die out of spec or off, the overall wattage went down as the hash rate did due to the bad die/asic not working and using power.

1080watts opn an SP20 should have gotten you about 1550GH/s in normal operation.

I was thinking of maybe getting this miner if cheap enough to keep at that colo, but going by their price it's way too high.

Whoever buys this, can make money if they properly downclock the miner and disable bad asic/die and know what they are doing with it's tuning. Also make sure it's not shorting out anywhere as that could explain the wattage draw which should just not be happening.

Good luck on your sale.

To your first question, I live in UK, power is 0.18p/Kwh (around 0.27 USD) so no lol, I wont host myself.  Grin

They have offered to lower clocks and find it's "sweet spot" again, so I have asked them to do this, But your right, this would suit someone  who knows how to play with them.

Best.
