It has legit, non anonymous development and genuine interest outside this board and the general crypto "community". The team should take whatever time they need to get this done right, the less weak hands holding IOC the better. Also I find it very reassuring that the team doesn't hold that much IOC themselves, enough to make it worth their while but too little to kill the coin with dumping on a rise (they wouldn't do that, but you get my point) Patience is key. When the day comes the announcement is made that a VC company has invested in this coin you should hang on to your butt because we will have serious liftoff. I've been long enough into this game to pick winners with a certain amount of accuracy, please be patient. The team will deliver and don't fall into the manipulation trap of a few stupid bots suppressing the price on Bittrex. Volume right now is low, so a mere .5 BTC sell will impact the price a lot percentage wise (as does a .5 btc buy) but getting worked up over 15% price increase or decrease is fruitless considering the volume. People are holding and we are under the radar, some sharks are playing newbies to con them out of their coins. Don't be a victim. Really fantastic reply Springfield. Lots of good points. Regarding the price getting beaten down daily, would it not be much better for the people who are trying to manipulate the price lower, for them to keep it higher? Growth is much better than this constant killing of the coin time after time, so i do not see any point purpose or value for these people to keep doing this to IOC. I just hope that the people selling are not able to buy back cheaper, i think its safe to say, they are buying and selling to themself, as clearly the sold coins are not going to "strong" hands as the sell side always shows just under 1 million coins, the balances never get smaller on bittrex either. The point i was making when mentioning the IOC team should hold more coins, is the fact that they should be buying coins at these low prices and then prevent the coins from staying in the dumpers hands and also, as importantly, staking the coins and getting staking back over 50%. |

I found this page as i was searching for I/O Coin. Anyhow, I/O Coin will soon have the first HTML5 wallet, which this coin had in the title (on page 99) but no longer, so i guess they weren't able to build it, which is really no surprise, as it is probably the hardest wallet build seen in crypto. I hope everything will be ok with opal coin you guys have a great community, should things not work out, make sure to check out I/O Coin thread, they will NEVER abandon the project and always deliver the developments and BIG news coming soon. Not to "bash" other coins, but seriously, Factom over 100k sats, the OP does not even mention how many coins minted, from what i can tell, nothing developed, all vaporware, very hard to find info and a very basic blockchain, all of which rings alarm bells, but because it has big volume everyone wants it.... Crypto is crazy! I/O Coin has been going under the radar for too long now, when things get moving, i expect this coin to be holding well over 100k sats (if price reflected developments and coin total it should be well over 200k+) from now on. Hey all, This last year has been a great ride. Developing groundbreaking and never done before technology is something extraordinary to do. We are all part of something unique here. Unlike other crypto projects we have proven that we continue to develop and keep looking forward. With all efforts we put in it and with all the money we can (privately) spend. This team, this project is a winner. Not just because of the team, but also because of the people backing the project and last but not least: we are a winner because of the technology we are creating. Unfortunately for some of you the developments are not (yet) paying out in respect of the I/O Coin price, but we remain very confident in what we develop and what our future is. FEATURE REQUEST for new HTML wallet.
When showing IOC total Balance. Show the value in Dollars also. (Similar to Poloniex when you see your balances there)
Everyone who invests will want to see how much their precious I/O Coin is worth.
At the moment, only Poloniex gives you the value in $'s.
The only other way i know to find out how much in total your coins are worth
is going to the website Countmycrypto.
Wouldn't it be great, if a IOC investor could simply run their wallet to see the value in $'s (plus euros or pounds would be ideal).
This would also give people a incentive to open their wallet daily and in turn, stake it while it is open.
I am pretty sure, many people log into poloniex because they want to see the $ value of their coins.
With this feature built into the IOC HTML wallet, it is a one (or two) click only.
No need to sign into exchanges, no need to know your exact total then enter into countmycrypto, which can be quite tricky.
Who thinks this is a good idea? (who understands that many people want to see the value in fiat also?)

so in the last month or so, from 11-03 thru 12-11, an ioc address went from being nonexistent to topping the rich list with 2.8 million ioc or roughly 17.5% of ms.
that is concerning!

But considering IOC went below 1k sats this time last year, it would be no surprise if someone held that many coins, would of been one hell of a big investment, but from all the hard work that IOC has been doing, it would be a very smart investment thats for sure. 326,386 I/O Coin Available up to 10k (so if you wanted 326k IOC quickly you would pay up to 10k sats.
Costing only 24.12 BTC.
Poloniex
44,285 IOC available up to 10k sats and would cost only 2.41 BTC
What can we deduct from these statistics?
NO ONE wants to sell I/O Coin at these ridiculous prices.
Lets say I want more I/O Coin.
There is another 473k available up to 20k sats (thanks to the one person with the big pressure sell walls)
It would cost 64btc to buy only 473k IOC.
So if someone wants a nice bag of IOC.
ATM 700k Will cost 88 BTC and take the price to 20k.
I thought this was interesting stats. Anyone holding more than a couple of hundred thousand coins, is sitting in a really good position, given the above-mentioned developments.
thanks for the interesting analysis. maybe I can learn something to help with my trading...... question: how do you infer that one person is responsible for "big pressure sell wall" and what is the effect of those big sell walls apart from just being a respite on the way to higher levels ? If you look at Bittrex, it tells you what people are holding. Distribution link. You can see there are 3 BIG wallets. 483k is the highest And this would appear to be the coins from 10k to 20k. Maybe not the full total, probably also some from the 2nd and 3rd top wallets. i would also "bet" when these walls are eaten and if IOC can hold the 20k we wont see this type of sell pressure, but time will tell when that day comes. The Effect that it has, is that it makes people nervous when buying higher up as they might think it will be hard to gain profits from due to the walls. But all of this is pretty much unconcerning in the grand scheme of things. I/O Coin and its parent company I/O Digital is working toward mass adoption with a unique, ultra-reliable and secure Blockchain, i firmly believe one day, we will see these walls disappear (bought up) in a blink of an eye and be at the levels a digital currency of such forward thinking developments and tech should be at. One thing is for sure, IOC at these prices is a very safe bet in the future. |

OK Folks, So over the last few weeks we've been working hard on making the changes to the api calls. The teams started the work with introducing the new dev to our code, going over it and doing a full review. The team started with messaging and changes were made to the code to start to implement the new api. The team is now in the process of creating a testnet to begin testing these changes to the code. If it all goes well during the test then the team will move to the aliases changes. Some time was also devoted to get our new dev up to speed on certain code related matters. Im going to be looking into the possibility of adding another dev to start work on chameleon so that we can try to gain some ground on our next task. I will update on my findings on this. There is just allot of work to do and want to make sure we stay on track without overwhelming our core team. When people use financial or other services that store identities and sensitive documents,(big banks and credit card companies spring to mind) IOC is developing a blockchain that will be secure and unbreachable so top financial and other big companies that require people data, can depend upon IOC to keep their customers identities and documents safe from any hacking. Given the above statement, this is something that is drastically needed in this world and for IOC to be part of this security revolution is simply amazing! Clear to see there is a vast amount of work being done and needed to be done, but work that is of the utmost importance in these digital times. The future looks secure with IOC. Good advice. I know in the past, that was the cause for me, closing computer down too quickly or changing over wallet.dat files to quickly.
But this time, no idea, might have even had something to do with Ccleaner. Anyhow, easily resolved with a quick, removal then re-addition of the main wallet.dat file, so problem was resolved in under 5 mins.
Absolutely nothing to do with the actual wallet. All of I/OCoins wallets have worked perfect, the only issues ever arising from simple human error.
Keep up the great work! Looking forward to the new update.
