70%? I assume it's based on pools - https://blockchain.info/pools. It's like, back in the day, saying that every (non-solo) miner comes from the Czech Republic because Slush's pool is the only pool. Except no one thought that, because obviously it would have been nonsense. Are you saying it's ridiculous to assume that most of the mining (both pools and mining farms) is done in China? it is and there are 2 parties here at play. The Chinese Government who wants to regulate bitcoin as much as they can. And the companies who are into bitcoin mining or bitcoin itself (exchanges). So it could be dangerous because the chinese government is not being praised for their democracy. |

Where are you from? I can barely find an establishment here in my place that accepts bitcoin. In the capital of my country, there are some establishments accepting bitcoin as a payment. Some even let you convert your cash into bitcoin but there's so much transaction fee, sadly. I've got the same question. There are maybe 3/4 shops which accept bitcoin. In other shops you have to use other payment methods. In the non capital cities there are literally none that accept bitcoin (at least that i am aware of). |

I think all cloudmining for now is not profitable and most of them are scam so better to hold my bitcoin and wait for block halving to make a extra profit with my bitcoins.. cloud minings for me is just like a investment site they run after few day or weeks and you will get anything...
And as of know its not profitable even a solo mining..
I have to agree. There is no reason to invest in cloud mining other then you wanting to lose your money. If you are in for a profit even asic mining doesn't seem profitable anymore. Yes your right theres no asic miners are profitable more difficulty are increase month by month but if the cloudmining are mining altcoin not a bitcoin maybe it can be profitable.. like pow oofering in altcoin section eth or krypton that can be profitable.. if they are using a good asic or super pc.. For now better to stay holding bitcoins and wait for the block halving maybe someone offering a cloud minig if the asic miner can be profitable.. A list would not benefit anyone since it would be a list where you can lose money. Which cloud mining companies can you lose out on your money 1) Hashnest 2) Genesis Mining. etc.. If you feel you can handle it just make sure to stay away from a pc/desktop or whatever you use to gamble. If you can control it make sure to find somethign else to do so you are too busy for gambling.
yes this might work if your really not addicted with gambling and sometimes it can not affect you a lot in doing this, because if you are really addicted this piece of advice is nothing because the will of an addicted in gambling is really something. hard to get away from the pc / desktop because it has become their daily lives. trying to spend all the capital, and when it is possible that you will stop gambling. Today pc or laptop are very important. at least in our lives. It will not suddenly happen that we just go out and forget about it. 350 will be to hard to maintain for a safe zone. I expect it to be somewhere between 300 dollar. Which is still 100 dollar more then the last low (200 dollar) which we achieved last year. So overall it is a good and positive thing.

the main reason for bitcoin price going up recently might be due to the upcoming halving. steam may affect too but i don't think it hold a big role. I don't think steam has anything to do with it.It is either the halving of new money coming in. Steam accepting bitcoin is very good news though. |

If the bitcoin hit the all time high, then the price will be over $1200. That is just three times of present value. So it is possible.
Of course its possible, this is all because of the halving that is coming this year, because of the halving of the block size it will be possible for sure. I think there is a good chance that the price is gonna rise to a higher amount with the bitcoin and it will hit this record height, I really believe in it! |

I think there are at least a few dozen people using it, I can't speak for sure but it seems like there are quite a few people just from the first page or two. How big it is outside of that, though, I'm not sure. Maybe a few hundred to a few thousand people currently use OpenBazaar.

It would be nice if you can of course invest that much but the bad thing is that if you are investing that much that you can also lose it and that would be indeed bad for you.
So investing is not the problem but you have to also save some money for later as backup for yourself.
Its nice indeed but you also have to keep in your head that investing with large numbers also can be very bad because of the fact that its risky. The bitcoin is risky and still can collapse, I would only invest with around 10k to be honest. |
