941  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 26, 2023, 06:09:00 PM
I don't know what is up with the Phoenix Suns lately because they kept on changing their rosters instead of keeping them intact to have a much deeper connection and bond with each other to improve their rhythm. I'd say that the Suns are so thirsty to have that chip on their franchise and having those rush decisions just because of their thirst will just lead them into another unwanted road. I mean, Tobias Harris in-exchange for Ayton? C'mon man!
They're not just comfortable with their current roster setup and they think that changing a lot will make them stable and get on a better finish this upcoming season. Honestly, I think that they should have just kept their roster and just make a few changes if it's really necessary. These set of trades and firing that they've made changed totally a lot on them, a lot of money also spent but we will never know until the season comes if they're well spent or not. Anyone looking to the Rockets that these trades should be on them to take actions? Or any rumor within the team and about the trade offers that they're getting and offering to other teams?

Right? They cannot just expect that changing a roster will just bring them to a much higher seed and finish much further in the post season games because even if we say that the players they have acquired are good, they will still have the same outcome because they will be playing blind as they aren't that comfortable with each other, hence why a bond is needed to earn trust and connection.
942  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: June 26, 2023, 05:47:13 PM
Messi said the completed football which is absolutely right but he said after winning WC , that he has one small dream to achieve : to play at next WC being the world cup winner and he already made step nr 1 by transfer to Miami and be ready for 2026 so he only needs to wait for step 2 which is just letting time to pass and enjoy playing in USA as much as he can without getting any ugly injuries.

That's not the case anymore: Lionel Messi rules out playing at 2026 World Cup

Thinking that this decision might be sudden and hasty, I'm still looking forward that he'll be with his mates and play as the defending champions in the upcoming 2026 World Cup that will happen in North American countries. The national team will surely miss him if he will not play with them anymore in the said event and I don't think that they will just agree without having any serious discussion because I know that Messi can't just leave his mates suddenly.
943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 25, 2023, 09:22:09 PM
The latest DeAndre Ayton rumor is that the Suns are going to trade him in a three team deal for Tobias Harris… I think this would be a huge mistake on pretty much every level. I think Ayton has a higher ceiling, I think he meets the needs of the Suns better than Harris, and I think he’s a more valuable player right now. I hope the Suns do better than that for Ayton.

944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: June 25, 2023, 08:31:19 PM
I think you can make $100 every day in a casino if your daily deposit is $200. Otherwise, it is impossible to win money regularly and consistently in casinos. If it were possible, this kind of business wouldn't exist. Perhaps there are some forks of gambling where with a certain strategy you can make regular profits, for example from betting on sports or playing poker. But casinos rule out the possibility of making money on a regular basis.

To get $100 every day a minimum deposit of $500 or more is required. You cannot bet $200 and get $100, it is not that simple. The bigger the budget the higer are the chances. Above all you need a strategy everytime you are in the online casino. Without any strategy the chance of win is basically null. A lot of patience and discipline is needed in your lifestyle. Professional gamblers do make money, the sacrifice they do to get that amount is not possible for everyone.
I don't actually think its possible to make 100$ daily even if you go out with big budgets  but its true that the bigger the money the lesser the risk you would take in your bet  but still doesn't close the fact that it all still depends on luck and I can think that big budget stake could actually get you drain out quick.

Not really the case when it comes to gambling as it's all the same whether you're rich or poor. As a poor then of course your bets will not be as huge as the rich can afford when it comes to betting because in most cases, the bigger money, the bigger bets as why would you bet small if you can always afford the bigger ones as that will give you more profits.

But talking back to the topic, it's just impossible to generate $100 dollars from doing gambling everyday as you cannot guarantee yourself that you will be that lucky everyday to maintain your profits from the bets you're taking. As we know, we have more chances to lose than winning as the advantage always belong to the casino itself.
945  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1.7 billion people are still Unbanked; chances for bitcoin on: June 25, 2023, 08:08:13 PM
According to world bank 1.7 billion people ranging from 200 million in China and India each, 100 million range in Pakistan and Indonesia, 45 to 65 million range in Mexico, Bangladesh, Nigeria etc. This shows that a lot of rural environments have no bank. Real estate, renting a building, is one strong marketing technique used by banks to garner customers in a place. And these stats proves that banks can't reach out to all rural environment. Bitcoin on the other hand, requires only a smart phone and internet connection  to send and receive bitcoin anywhere in the world; no buildings needed. It also opens a portal for users in high corrupt countries, 68.9% of 180 countries, to keep their funds safe. In Sudan for instance, Government once forced into people's houses to seize and destroy their treasures.

Hence with 1.7 billion people staying unbanked, added to the increase of people who don't rely on banks, Bitcoin provides them with numerous options why they should use bitcoin for different purposes like sending money to relatives in different countries at a very low fee.

https://www.researchgate.net/publication/370892944_Bitcoin_Is_Full_of_Surprises

Can't really say that people don't rely on banks or don't even need banks especially in the rural area. One factor for this instance is they don't have any excess funds to start a bank as people in the rural area is actually not that rich compared to the people living in an urban area where there's a lot of establishment and businesses, and of course, banks will take advantage of that fact as they can also start their business in that specific area. But rural area, they cannot really take their business there as the people doesn't have any business that needed banks plus, internet access is very rare.
946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying cheap is best formula on: June 25, 2023, 04:28:36 PM
If I have money now, I would buy half of bitcoin because in next three months it will double the current price. This is real because it always occur this way after 5 years remember in 2011 and 2017 from the market charts and caps. And this year will break more even.
What makes you so sure that the price will be doubled in the next three months? It's been 3 months already since you created this thread, yet the price didn't moved and doubled just like the way you expected it to be or at least speculated because from the month of March until today, bitcoin's price has only increased in about more or less $3,200.

But what you said was right because it seems that buying cheap is actually the best formula and as long as you know the right target (coin), then there's a good chance that your assets will double soon enough.
947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Joshua Franco vs Kazuto Ioka WBA World Superfly (June 24) on: June 24, 2023, 02:31:29 PM

Thanks,.

Congratulations to Kazuto Ioka! I don't understand what they are saying, but judging by how the fight unfolded, I believe Kazuto Ioka won via unanimous decision.

Yes, Kazuto won via a unanimous decision over Franco 116-112 twice, 115-113, Franco is very slow and obviously, Ioka is dominating the fight, the additional weight for Franco did not work for Franco's advantage, I guess this settle the fight, Joshua can move up as he cannot keep up making the super flyweight anymore.

Congratulation to Ioka and those who bet on him.

Man! I don't know if I lost this fight or not because I surely thought that this fight will happen tomorrow and not tonight, I could've rode the wave and bet in-favor of Kazuto Ioka as I know he will have the fight in his favor despite the draw on their first encounter.

Anyway, congratulations to all the bettors who bet in-favor of Kazuto Ioka.
948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Jermall Charlo Super Middleweight (September 16) on: June 24, 2023, 02:07:46 PM
There is only one thing that can pause Canelo from being aggressive - his wrist isnt healed fully. He did not use his left much in a fight against Ryder. This time, perhaps he is going to give his hand another test before a bigger fight (I hope so). But, like Ive said, Canelo has trapped himself into being one of the beat. No matter who he fights in middleweight, everyone see his opponent as an underdog. That is why he needs to go up in division.

This fight will present another challenge to Canelo's wrist but I'm thinking that he will carry this disadvantage throughout the end of his career because somehow, we can assume that he's already at sundown plus there's a wear and tear that will be a factor in the healing process of Canelo's wrist as he's also aging already.

We all know that Charlo is not a pushover either even if he was inactive for almost two years because during his good years, he was a very impressive boxer in his division.
949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: June 23, 2023, 07:14:53 PM
And the thing about Qatar is they spend money but they didn't get good results because in the end there are many people they were unhappy there in Qatar because of their Alcohol rules or because workers were killed there.
Just the chart and compare the money they spent and you can see the difference.
However one reason for increasing the hosting cost can be the inflation rate but the difference is still much more than other hosts, I'm sure America will spend less than this.

That is awfully expensive, I knew they had spent a lot of money but I never knew that it was to this extent, the 2026 world cup should be much cheaper as there is no need to build stadiums on any of those countries, the US has its own soccer league and they also have NFL stadiums so they should be good, Mexico is the poorest out of the three but their professional soccer league should have more than enough stadiums which at most just need a renovation, and Canada should be roughly the same, and when we add that there will be more freedoms for the fans then there is no doubt that the upcoming world cup should be many times better than the one that was hosted at Qatar.

True! I know that Qatar have undergone a complete make over so that they can cater the vast amount of people flocking towards their country to see the game and accommodate most of them in one place and build a big stadium that can actually host a World Cup that is happening once every four years. But $220 Billion? That's quite a huge price tag, I know that it's a penny to a country like Qatar but they could've poured those resources to a much worthy project.

Anyway, I'm also inclined and confident that USA, Canada and Mexico will not be spending at least one-fourth of Qatar's spending because they already have a lot of existing stadiums that can cater the audience. Mexico will not have any problems either because other than the fact that they have stadiums too, they will only need to host about 10 games which is the games that are not that big compared to what the USA will be hosting.

Didn't expect the move of GSW trading Poole to get CP3 and so is Poole I guess. I thought he is one of the future of GSW along with Kuminga. Maybe, it would be a different story if only he perform well last season. I don't think Poole loves to be traded. Based on my observation he wanted to stay in GSW like Curry, and Thompson. As for CP3, joining GSW is his best chance to get a ring before his retirement in a few more years.
It was a surprise to everybody because just a few days ago, it was said that they'll take Poole and won't be traded.

But then it was a different outcome and there goes the news that Poole was already traded. Another player that can't process yet the trades is Smart who is now with the Grizzlies.

He's the replacement probably for Dillon Brooks after being too talkative.

Honestly though, I kind of expecting these things to happen where teams will get rid of their own players that have been playing poorly in the recent season especially Jordan Poole for his inconsistency after gaining a massive contract. He went from being a huge contributor off the bench to a poor player that was literally unhelpful to the team's journey during their post season run. What I didn't expected to happen was Marcus Smart being traded but it's reasonable enough as the team was targeting Kristaps Porzingis.
951  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Getting Some Merit really boosted my motivation on: June 22, 2023, 07:27:23 PM
This may seem trivial to those who already rank high in the forums. but it really means a lot to beginners. Gaining Some Merits actually can revive dormant Motivation. But still I also realize that just motivation is not enough. but also must be accompanied by an increase in insight. with more diligent reading and so on.
Other beginners must also feel this way, right? I doubt if only I feel this pleasure.
Not just for newbies but even to high rank positions, it’s always fulfilling to see your posts are being appreciated and are merited, and that will motivate you even better to improve more of what you currently have. However, motivation is not enough, but it’s a big help actually so you will develop more enthusiasm on what you are doing. And when you’re a forum member, you should never stop from learning. Not because you consistently learned from other reputable members posts, but also because you often do researching as much as you can the moment you’re in doubt or you think your knowledge on that certain topic is not enough.
952  Economy / Speculation / Re: Take advantage of the price fall. on: June 22, 2023, 07:10:29 PM
Not a lot of people understand this but the price is not just volatile. I know that going up and down is something we see all the time and this is why many people think that its not going to be a special situation, like its just up and down. But when you look at the long term situation, just look at the last 10 years alone, you will see that even with up and down, the long term is always up. We are higher than almost all years aside from 2021 which was a huge bull year, and I bet you that in the next 2 years we are going to have a higher year than that as well. So its not really volatile and up, its also just up when you zoom out a bit. This is why when it falls, its always better to buy as much as you possibly can, that means you will profit a lot in the future.
Well, volatility is not something new anymore, but even so, we should have known bitcoin history that bitcoin price has never been fixed nor it’s steadily going up. It’s always a low and high like a roller coaster ride that sometimes you’re up and at some point you’re down. So I think OP’s friend here is not completely aware on the investment he is into. Yes, he’s particularly aware that bitcoin has its high potentials to reach an all time high, but the question is when. That’s why he should be patient enough while waiting for it to come and just learn to take advantage by doing DCA when the price is still affordable to buy.
953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is to be blamed, the gambler or the betting agent on: June 22, 2023, 06:50:14 PM
Both should be blamed actually. If the bettor is a responsible gambler, then he should know when to stop when he sees his balance is already used up. Gambling will make you lose more especially if you decide to gamble more. And on the side of the betting agent, though I know it’s his job to offer some credit, but he should also be aware that taking advantage with the gambler in this situation will cause the gambler to think unreasonably and that he will end up with a very wrong decision. So if the gambler can’t pay him this time, then he should know how to be patient and just wait until the gambler is able to pay.
954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you find it offensive to be referred to as an addicted gambler? on: June 22, 2023, 06:30:51 PM
Many people find it difficult to accept who they are and the bad habits that they have, accepting a habit is the first step that will determine if any help offered to you will work. As a gambler, will you find it offensive if you are referred to as a gambling addict? will you easily accept it or try to give excuses like some other people do, saying that they are not addicted to gambling when the signs are clearly there. Do you think identifying as an addicted gambler will make people stereotype you. The answer is different for every gambler here.
I don’t think being addicted to gambling will make me offend anymore. So what? As long as you are not causing someone’s life into jeopardy then being addicted to gambling will never be a big issue. And the fact that it’s my own funds that I’ve been spending the whole time while gambling so my addiction should never be an issue at all. However, for some beginners who easily fall into gambling addiction might be hard for them to admit that they are gambling addicts, and would want to deny it as much as they can.
955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you cheat in gambling? on: June 22, 2023, 05:40:42 PM
If you have that kind of trick to win, you better not spit it out or casinos will be checking who else has found that trick.

I'm sure morals can be bent until proven to be a cheat but if it's a strategy it's possibly gonna be pushed by a gambler as a strategy than a cheat. Until it's not proven to be a cheat, then the conscience is clean. I have tried different tricks already somehow I find it not worth it in the end, one cheat to exploit isn't so bad lol. Now spit it out!
Cheating is actually bad but if you are faced with this situation, you would chose to find some tricks to win so you can recover what you have lost. But how can we cheat in a casino when everything is only played by chances and luck.

I believe we always try different tricks to win but still, it always end up making us the losing end. So I don’t think cheating or playing with some tricks will work. Otherwise, most gamblers will resort into playing with some tricks so they will never lose again.
956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We the Bitcoin Enthusiasts, How can we Safequard our Holdings in Turbulent Times on: June 21, 2023, 09:53:40 PM
How might the closure of a prominent cryptocurrency exchange like Binance affect investors confidence in the broader crypto market, and what steps do you think enthusiasts can take to safeguard their investments in such situations? Please share tips.

I'm thinking about closing my key positions for the time being.
It is always encourage to never deal with centralized exchanges as they will never be safe forever. Though a lot of them are already highly trusted and have become highly reputable when it comes to exchanges, but it’s still different if you trust your own decentralized wallet, a wallet that is free from online hacking and scamming. Open your own non-custodial hardware wallet, that way you will be more secured and even responsible in keeping your funds safe all the time.
957  Economy / Economics / Re: Is poverty a lack of money? on: June 21, 2023, 09:41:15 PM
I see poverty as the inability to provide what you need. So when people assume that poverty is when you don't have money I don't agree. Now what if you have all you need and you don't require money to buy anything, are you poor? Some people live in communities where everyone lives agrarian life. They have all they need because everything they need to survive is available. Food is on the farm, water available and everybody is happy. Although it was hard during the Covid-19 lockdown many people lived without money. I have also seen many people leaving cities and moving to rural areas to live a natural life.

In summary when you have everything you need to survive and you don't need money, are you poor?
Let’s just accept the fact that money will always be a necessity regardless if you have everything you need around. Because even if we are provided all the resources for survival, but if we don’t have good amount of money, then life will still be less fulfilling. Although I can say you’re not living in poverty if you are provided with all the resources in life, but as money becomes an essential these days, then living without it still makes a big difference.
958  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies Stop Teaching When You Need To Learn. on: June 21, 2023, 09:17:53 PM
This is not to discourage newbies not to teach and share what they have learned, but this is more of a realization that newbies should focus more on acquiring the best of knowledge and develop their full potentials first before they start considering others to learn from them. Although I have no regrets when I did this before, but I realized I can only teach and give the best to them if I have the best knowledge and skills that I have developed within in myself.
959  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The green shouldn't always be the reason to enter the market on: June 21, 2023, 08:58:26 PM
If you are a good trader, you will know that entering the market while it’s bloody would always be the perfect timing. Stick to what is the basic, buy when the price is low and sell when it’s high. However, let’s say for veteran traders, regardless of how the market behaves whether it’s bearish or bullish, they will always find ways to enter the market and end up profiting. That’s how powerful experiences are, since they have vast experiences when trading, even the worst scenarios in the market will still be overcome by them.
960  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop stressing kids with bitcoin on: June 21, 2023, 08:38:54 PM
Kids love to learn new things especially if it’s align with their interest and passion. And I think bitcoin may not be one of their favorites at a very young age since it’s quite complicated and hard to understand, and if you force them to learn about it, they will just ignore the idea. That’s why we just have to wait until they’re ready to grasp new ideas about bitcoin. Bitcoin is actually highly precious and valuable that any individual would really crave, but not for kids since all they want is just to have fun and play most of their times.
