It's slowly catching up.

Some payments were "trapped" in this long chain of unconfirmed transactions. Please wait.

this transaction is an old one, it's ok. also WebMonkey is not me, probably he has the same problem or something.
also what does that "not yet redeemed" mean? probably that it has not been spent yet?
my client is running fine thank you. I restart it regularly and always check if the last block is correct.
I found a chain of unconfirmed transactions that is not completely reached bitcoincharts yet. Looking into this.
943  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~3500 Gh/s Mining Pool] HTTPS,API, instant payouts,LP,+1% for NO INVALID BLOCKS on: June 22, 2011, 01:24:02 AM
it was sent 5 hours ago and not present in unconfirmed transactions as of this site http://bitcoincharts.com/bitcoin/ (or the client).
the address is confirmed too.
Are you sure that your client contains the entire blockchain ?
If you don't see in on http://bitcoincharts.com/bitcoin/ then it may be already included in some block and visible in the blockexplorer.

When you click at the date in your payments table, is the transaction there ?
no it says no such transaction, the address is 1KFnK5dbLGUxMPmgvLPHVfLrXzFSMxgbsg
I'm checking it.

Payments are enabled.
thanks, and what was the problem?
I think it was a bug in bitcoind. Still needs additional checking.

I know about the problem and I'm fixing it now, please wait.
I'll make an announcement when payments will be available.

Hello.
I'm here, checking it now.

Does deepbit make automatic daily payments?
I need to know as I've only made instant payments in the past, but took a break, and my accumulated coins have been withdrawn to my BTC address
Yes, automatic payment is triggered after 24 hours since last payment if your balance is over the threshold.

Block 131803
my share:   115
pool share:  2965964
reward:       0.00068679 btc
mode: prop.

but when i count this:  50* (115/2965964) = 0.001938661427

and so on every block - less reward
where is the mistake??
Should be 48.5 instead of 50

Well, glad I didn't leave that much in my deepbit account...
This was through a proxy, seems my real IP is blocked.
When have you registered and what was your login name ?
"Orcworm" doesn't looks like valid e-mail to me. And I don't see any actions with this name in last weeks of my logs, only the one login attempt today.

I rambled about DNS, but that might have nothing to do with the problem on your end.  I believe that pit.deepbit.net resolves to the address of whatever server in the pool that deepbit wants you to use. Tycho?  DNS load balancing?
Mostly for failover and anti-ddos functions.
953  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~3000 Gh/s Mining Pool] HTTPS,API, instant payouts,LP,+1% for NO INVALID BLOCKS on: June 19, 2011, 01:53:39 AM
but history column is delayed by one hour
why is that anyways? other pools offer live stats.
At one time, there was a method of pool jumping which supposedly maximized profitability.  It required knowledge on the progress on the current block.  Some pools solved this by moving to a score based system [Slush and BTCMine] and this pool simply doesn't show block stats for an hour [or longer if a block were to take more than an hour to be solved which isn't that likely].

With the high hash rates and when blocks / hour were high, pool jumping was more difficult and I don't know if it is a viable option, especially considering the amount of work it would take to do for any significant profit.
Stats delaying is not effective anymore, so a new measures may be deployed.
954  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~3000 Gh/s Mining Pool] HTTPS,API, instant payouts,LP,+1% for NO INVALID BLOCKS on: June 18, 2011, 02:21:37 AM
We pay a competitive price:
    * Pay per share: 0.00005129803015564 BTC per every sumbitted share
    * Proportional: your part of every solved block less 3% fee
so the pps is actually as low as 0.00005129803015564 * 0.93 = 4.7707168 × 10^-5 ?
No.
It says that 3% fee is for Proportional only.
PPS fee is already subtracted from shown share price.

you can connect to the IP fine for the website but looks like the DNS is broke as its not resolving. I am sure when Tycho gets up he will repair it...
Wrong answer was cached by DNS server, this will be solved after some timeout.
956  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~3000 Gh/s Mining Pool] HTTPS,API, instant payouts,LP,+1% for NO INVALID BLOCKS on: June 18, 2011, 02:17:12 AM
PMI, but how long does it take for a payout type to kick in (ie. switching from PPS to Proportional, or vice versa)?  I was under the impression that you finish up the current block and then you get switched over by the next block.  But I just switched to Proportional and there's been 5 or 6 blocks go by since I switched and I haven't seen my BTC count move at all.  And the block history column is showing + 0.00000000 BTC as if I was still under PPS for those blocks.  Is there some kind of delay where you don't earn any BTC between switching between payout types?
Mode switch is instant, but history column is delayed by one hour, so you will see proper values after one hour.

DDos attack --> Difficulty not raising  -> people but more hardware --> network secure...
DDoS attacks do not affect the difficulty. It's only a few minutes (rarely hours) of interruption, which is just a very small part of 2016 blocks span.
958  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~3000 Gh/s Mining Pool] HTTPS,API, instant payouts,LP,+1% for NO INVALID BLOCKS on: June 17, 2011, 03:19:35 PM
Am I the only on who's balance isn't updating hourly?
Worker shares are being incremented, block stats are updated, but my balance hasn't increased in the past two hours.... ?
Balance is not always updated in 00 minutes of each hour.
It will not be updated if you are using Proportional mode and no blocks were found during that hour.
Also one update may be skipped in some other cases.

Those delays only affect the displayed value. Your real balance is correct.

Why on Earth would they need to watch the forums? They can attack whenever they please. What benefit do they get from watching this thread?
May be to check when admin is sleeping ? :)

There was a DDoS attempt at this moment.

Recent connection issues and increased stales percentage were not caused by DDoS.
