941  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [OFFICIAL]Bitfinex.com first Bitcoin P2P lending platform for leverage trading on: February 06, 2014, 07:31:07 AM
wtf is going on.

seems like all trading has halted now though https://www.bitfinex.com/pages/public_log

What did you expect?
Market has to be halted and balances updated.

Are Btc and LTC withdrawals automatic? Raphael should make those  manual for added security in case of glitch like that.

They are automatic once you confirm through an email, hits the chain the second after.

If you could only claim those profits!

Expect news of someone "stealing" 150,000 LTC from Bitfinex soon.

Someone is hacking Bitfinex!

With the sell price being $10,000 you can deposit 1 coin and your "balance" will show $10,000. Meaning you can now use $10,000 (1 bitcoin) as leverage and take a loan out for $25,000. Buy LTC on margin, and play the swings margin trading. Use the cash you just made trading to buy LTC and withdraw automatically to your wallet….. Do this with many coins and profit.

Have you not noticed the LTC volume? 135,000LTC just now.

I think someone is doing this on purpose.

But do this with many coins of course!

Will I be the first? Its been about a month since I lost all my coins, which was all my savings, and only income. I can no longer afford to live.

Looking at your posts doesn't show you are in a suicidal situation.
Cut the b.s.

Go back further, you will notice the change. My last month of posts were me posting with a pay for signature, so yeah it may not seem like it. I was trying to get some btc back in my wallet. Wasn't worth it.

Think what you want though.

Over 80 physical coins stolen in October, and 15 lost margin trading in December.

951  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stop panicking and hold your bitcoins on: January 28, 2014, 01:59:10 AM
Soon all these "panic sellers" will buy back in under 600, and you will be mad you missed an opportunity to increase your BTC holding.

Just because you think something will go up, does not mean it will not go down more before then.

The only reason people start threads like these is because they didn't buy at the opportune time, and want their stash value to stay in the green.

The next opportune time will be in the next 4-5 days.

I am a daily trader mate.  Smiley I don't care about crash or keeping my stash green, I buy and sell everyday and book my profits.

Then you should be screaming "this is only the beginning" so you could buy in lower, not hold.

Or did you already buy in and hoping to cash in on a bounce?
952  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 28, 2014, 01:57:26 AM
That's the sound of the Bears, slowly going back to their cages and closing the door.

Are there any non extremist on this thread? We fall $100, then we bounce back up a little and thats the sound of bears going back to their cages? LOL

Everyone is either screaming single digits or CCMF, without a sound piece of evidence (or a clue what is going on).

I'm glad I didn't use my real name when I bought around 300 coins from BitInstant early last year.
955  Economy / Speculation / Re: Did anyone see what I just saw!? on: January 27, 2014, 06:00:11 PM
You mean 2500?

With the news I would expect 25000 to be dumped in the next 24 hours though.
956  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 27, 2014, 05:58:23 PM
Lol this dump is such a fail. People can't seriously be giving up their coins for cheap at this stage in the game can they? This will be like crash number 15??

That's what people said at $266, look how much they would have increased BTC profit if they knew what the hell was going on.
957  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 27, 2014, 05:56:18 PM
The few bulls in here sure are funny. This news is not good at all.

Those who hodl will be left in the codl
958  Other / Off-topic / Re: ITS SNOWING IN LOUISIANA! on: January 27, 2014, 07:55:15 AM
We have more bridges per mile than any other state I believe. Louisiana is home to the THREE LONGEST bridges in the US. Thats correct, first, second, and third longest. It is an entirely different thing when you are dealing with 200 foot tall bridges covered in ice, compared to flat snow covered areas. Bridges freeze quicker because of cold air under the bridge as well. My city can only be reached by bridge. They were both shut down for about 24 hours. Over 300 wrecks in 3 days in our parish (county), mostly Interstate 10 travelers passing through.
959  Other / Off-topic / Re: black people not into bitcoin? on: January 25, 2014, 07:58:01 AM
Does bi-racial count? If so, add me to the list.
960  Other / Off-topic / Re: ITS SNOWING IN LOUISIANA! on: January 25, 2014, 07:56:31 AM
It's snowing here in southern Louisiana! It's always hotter than hell here. The area is pretty much shut down, and all bridges closed. My city is surrounded by water so no traffic in or out for 100K people. Also, Interstate 10, the busiest in the nation, runs through my city and the bridge is closed and backed up for miles. Crazy! Many wrecks have resulted in multiple deaths. Nobody around here know how to drive on snow or ice.

Edit: Caddy paid for with BTC Wink

Since you're located in Louisiana and stuck inside, don't you think it's about time to clean your coffee pot, or would such an act be considered sacrilegious? (actually, I know the answer, for I used to fuck a coonass in the... and damn, I miss her)

Hahaha… I'm still too "young" for coffee, but that pretty funny
