941  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: September 14, 2016, 06:32:45 PM
i think like 5 bitcoins will be enough, as you should have like 500k$ then
Such a small amount i can not retire if made only 5 btc.. its not enough for me. maybe in other country that you can live long with that amount of money..
For me 50 plus is enough for me to retire in 20 years because i can start my own business and be a boss.
the best option is as much as possible, for me if i can have 100bitcoin for retirementday i will very happy with it.

best option is always to have as much as possible considering that new features are up for next year expect that if we have 100 btc in that time we will want to have more
cuz no matter now much we have it not good enough
I respect your opinion but I can tell your frankly that I would be happy to have at least 100 BTC for my retirement, I am not ambitious enough to live a luxurious life because all I want is a simple life living in a peaceful place, and I know with 100 BTC I could live a decent life already.

Not only that but having 100BTC doesn’t mean that the coins sit idly, you could invest those coins, I am not an expert so this should not be taken as advice but if a person were to invest in several bitcoin casinos you could earn BTC while doing nothing, I think the amount you can earn is something like 2% to 4%.

you are right, i think 100 bitcoins would be not enough because bitcoins is not going to be that huge, you would need at least a thousand

it’s always good to be safe and make goals occasionally so that when an unexpected event occurs, then at least you would have something in your pocket and would be so disappointed.
942  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we should fear a cashless world on: September 14, 2016, 06:30:15 PM
Did you know that banks provide online banking for a reason, and there is privacy that the government isn’t involved in the matter
943  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: September 14, 2016, 06:28:14 PM
I don’t think it’s really a good idea right now to quit my job to go full time on bitcoin; especially on seeing how difficult it is for me to have those bitcoins changed into fiat and transferred to my bank account in my country
944  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you use multiple Bitcoin Wallets to store your Bitcoins? on: September 14, 2016, 05:25:11 PM
If you really need to put only, split the money into some wallets.

And take a look about any hardware wallet, like Ledger.
945  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you use multiple Bitcoin Wallets to store your Bitcoins? on: September 14, 2016, 05:24:38 PM
well for me i use just a wallet account..and thats blockchain and feel its save for me...and convinient for me to use....anytime and to store my btc..widely recognise here in my country...

Take this as an advice: Don’t do it. There are some reports that some blockchain wallets were stolen.
946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is CHINA CONTROLLING Bitcoin? on: September 14, 2016, 05:22:04 PM

Yea China is playing massive role in bitcoin world although it really doesn't mean that they are controlling bitcoin. As it is said that bitcoin had no centralised party to act upon. But china is playing huge role as a whole we can say they are controlling bitcoin indirectly uppity some extent.

I partially agree with you, because they end up indirectly controlling the fluctuation of the price of bitcoin. China has huge players, huge miners and big whales.
947  Economy / Services / Re: Make $1 Sign up Bonus, up to $10 daily on: September 14, 2016, 01:41:16 PM

i have one question for OP is there any other payment method to withdraw the balance such as with bitcoin or perfectmoney

because i don't have paypal and don't use amazon
This is the hard thing they are offering a task for members here but they are not paying in bitcoin honestly we are here in bitcointalk forum and we should to deal using bitcoin instead of paypal.. also the differents its more fee in transaction in paypal.

I agree with this in all totality for crying out loud this is about BITCoin and you should do well to add BITCOIN to means of payment if its not going to be the main means of payment...
948  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OpenBazaar , a failure ? on: September 14, 2016, 03:55:53 AM
i think it is such a good idea and we cannot call it as a falier, it just need some extra effort, struggle and hard work with good management and advertisement, hope that the result will be totally different,

It’s a good idea. I think the same. But there were a few times I saw a big discussion about it here in Bitcointalk.

If we really want to transforme the OpenBazzar into a success, we’ll do more divulgation.
949  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the Future of Bitcoin ? on: September 14, 2016, 03:48:16 AM
There are considerable chances that in the next years bitcoin may achieve worldwide adoption, as a global cryptocurrency. I hope that happen as soon as possible. That way all of us could benefit from it.

i think we need more than 1year, maybe nest 5year the worlwide adoption will become, or maybe next halving bitcoin will be leader of currency in the world, not only in cryptocurrency.

1 year is still not enough for bitcoin to be adopted my most of the population of the world. Maybe 5-10 years are going to be enough to be able to make some adoption. And we all know that bitcoin has a good potential in the future that it maybe be possibly used as secondary monetary unit of different countries because it values real money.

I totally agree with it. We really need to spread the Bitcoin, because many people still think that Bitcoin is some type of SCAM.
950  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: September 14, 2016, 03:44:08 AM
People hate bitcoins because they lost lots of money because them

Absolutely correct. Most beginners find it easy to make money with crypto currencies.
And consequently they lose a lot of money.

951  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: September 13, 2016, 05:41:31 PM
Bottom line is that we need both for now since
    1. Most people aren't into bitcoin yet. Most usually transact with a bank since it's familiar for them
    2. Banks have features and guarantees that are not present in Bitcoin (e.g. tx reversal in case of error, insurance, etc.)

The familiarity with bitcoin I think will be the biggest challenge here.
Anyone including old and young people can make bank transactions today. But if we talk about bitcoin, I don't think they will get it easily.

Bitcoin Wallet is much better . The only problem - in my opinion - is transform BTC in money when I need.
We can use XAPO, Advcash and othes, but we need more options for sure.
952  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help poor countries? on: September 13, 2016, 05:39:55 PM
I think you are confusing bitcoin with some other concept or probably with financial aid or something. See bitcoin is basically next form of money so it is a cryptocurrency. It has some features which uplift the transactions on international level and it transforms the way we use to transact.

Bitcoin won’t do any right or wrong thing but the users would do it, so if someone is donating his bitcoins in poor countries then we can safely say yes it’s helping those countries but that would be the micro case.
Bitcoin will help everyone in the same manner but with some more benefits that traditional money does.

It’s a good way to introduce crypto currencies in some places.

954  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: September 13, 2016, 05:33:23 PM
At a moment I will not prefer to get paid in bitcoins as price is not high and there is no guarantee that it will be even higher in future so it will be a huge risk to take.

you don't need the price to be high in order to receive bitcoin as your salary. if you think the current price is low, then it means that your salary will get you more bitcoins as result compared to when the price is really high. that's the benefit.

Totally agree with you, guy.
All of crypto currencies have the advantage of being volatile, because you can earn some amount in this month and - If you can hold for a little - you are able to win more money only holding the coin.
955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help poor countries? on: September 13, 2016, 04:10:44 PM
The ONU is doing exactly it.
They are searching crypto fans to collect donations to the Africa countries.
This crypto fans will teach some other volunteers about BTC.

957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SPK] Quintessence Neighborhood - ICO 30% bonus now!!! on: September 13, 2016, 11:24:39 AM
How much Quintessence of coins will be available?

Spark will be the token of the Quintessence network, and we can evaluate there will be between 1 billion and 2 billion SPK at distribution time.

2 billion SPK? isn't it a very big amount of supply? I saw any altcoin which have high amount of coins circulation. their price will be at lower rates. I think Spark token's price hardly cross 1500 satoshi rate..

Anyway. I have a question.. are we need only CBX to participate in ICO? can't we pay with bitcoin?

Almost daily I see someone post freaking out about the price if it dips to that much sats. Never do I read anyone except DEV himself posting positive things about the SPK Coins launched.
958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WORST decision about BTC on: September 13, 2016, 11:19:14 AM
There's this time when I just bought bitcoin and then after that I immediately joined a cloudmining site promising high returns and paying everyday. I was so happy during that time earning everyday without doing anything and the amount I received, I invested it in other sites promising those high returns also. I was happy that everyday when I wake up there's already an additional amount in my wallet and then those sites that I invested disappeared one by one causing me to have net loss and then that's the time I realized that I was scammed and I can't get my coins back anymore. This is my worst decision and promise myself I will never invest in a HYIP site again.

I really hope that I was not in the groups at the beginning that were socking back 50 BTC rewards and then I abandoned them, lol.
959  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: September 13, 2016, 11:15:26 AM
BTC is money just like other currency so I assume yes but let's concentrate on its good side.

Yes BTC is money. It only matters that, the only person itself who use bitcoin will decide where he/she possible used the bitcoin and it depends for them where to use it, if it is in good way or in an illegal activities. And yes, lets just concentrate to use bitcoin in good ways.

Yeah, I agree with you guys, unfortunately, money will always be used for illegal activities.. but we should use BTC in good ways, good point  Wink

There are so many wallets that have a few thousand satoshi in them just sitting there somewhere or lost in nowhere land.  The one factor that throws off the curve is the fact that the crimes that it has been used to launder money for or stay anonymous created some very large transactions and that may make an average look wrong.
