941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gov must have power to reverse transactions, says co-chair of blockchain caucus on: July 05, 2021, 11:17:01 PM
Honestly I don't like regulations although I think that if the use of bitcoin is regulated by governments then the adoption will be better. I just looking for something that is free from government control. I prefer like to see government don't get involved in bitcoin world, I don't want government to ban or accept bitcoin, just let people use bitcoin as they want. But unfortunately there is also negative thing in this, if government don't get involved in bitcoin world then maybe there are some people will do crime using bitcoin. I think if people who use bitcoin are only good people then it will be good.

That's the ideal scenario however, some people will really use it to their illegal activities just like fiat. Regulation may encourage more adoption from its people but some won't like it because we are used to being free with our crypto transactions. However, if it is for the goodness of crypto, then so be it. But reversing the transactions? That is only possible if you know the people involve from end to end, otherwise, it is hard to implement this situation.
942  Economy / Economics / Re: Vietnam Becomes Latest Country to Turn to Crypto on: July 05, 2021, 09:26:36 PM
I am Vietnamese and I heard this news before Vietnam banned buying and selling BTC, I feel very bad for the past few years but now good news Vietnam my country started accepting BTC.

I am glad that your government changed their perspective towards crypto. They are now realizing the benefits of this technology and may help their Citizens in some ways to improve their economic status. Let us see how this pans out. Or are they open to create their own digital currency? Now, that China is getting hard on crypto, it is good to hear that there are countries that are now changing their approach towards crypto
943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying old coins: Is it worth it? on: July 04, 2021, 11:35:44 PM
almost most of the old coins suddenly appeared and hype in the crypto market. even I observed the coins were projects in the past like mid-2019 to 2020. there are many coins of them experiencing an increase in this year. Legitimate projects certainly take a long time to show their existence in the crypto market, if you know about a coin hype then you will find the answer yourself.
I'd never agreed that legit projects will take time to show, no, they will surely make pump if they have the potentials and even no hypes happened unlike with the new projects.
Well, buying olds coins have the advantage as it was considered for long-term investment but have to be sure that old coins are not dead coins.
But for me, I'd never think about old or new coins, what is most important is that we are confident that we are investing the right and promising coin, not shitcoins.

Old coins that are not dead coins in terms of development. Because if you will buy an old alt where there is no more updates happening anymore, then, that's useless. Should always have specific use case and the dev team is still active with their innovations. You should always look at the application of the coin. Because even if they have noble mission/use case, most of them don't even get the audience they want.

945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Dogecoin overpriced? on: July 03, 2021, 11:59:24 PM
I don't think Dogecoin is overpriced, today's Doge price is $.02579, which is quite low with the current volume of DOGE. On the contrary, I think the current DOGE price is still underprice, because I believe DOGE will soon skyrocket to $1.
but why do you think it's going to rocket to $1 ?! in my opinion it is overpriced because it has no usage whatsoever, and it's network is slow compared to other tokens who are lower than Doge and they have more utility, so i think Doge is for sure overpriced.

Right now, it seems overpriced because we can't see its tangible usage to the community. However, we don't know if there will be real developments going on when Elon mentioned before about its possible collab with doge team. But if there will be no progress regarding this situation, I think doge is indeed overpriced and needs to go back to where it was. So at least enjoy the cheaper transaction fees as before. Because these days, the  doge withdrawal fees are quite expensive and it should not be that way.
946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Next countries adopting bitcoin as legal tender have not any coronavirus cases on: July 03, 2021, 11:43:25 PM
where did you get the list? would you mind sharing the link?

Sure, my source was: https://ncov2019.live

There is no link between covid and bitcoin. This was just me digressing.

That's what I thought.  Tongue Most of the countries  you mentioned are not popular and I don't know if they have the knowledge about crypto in general. Their population is very small so this is actually good place to test crypto businesses. However, I believe, most of them are just using traditional means of payment method. But if their government will try to enter crypto, it would be easy because they have small population to inform about such development.
947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Parami Protocol - BUILD AD3 FOR WEB3 on: July 03, 2021, 11:25:45 PM
They have long list of partners already. But what kind of partnership they have for those companies? Are they going to finance this project? How do we know that they have indeed collaboration with those companies? Are they going to release articles or announcement regarding the participation of those companies with Parami Protocol?
948  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoins kill Central Banks? on: July 03, 2021, 11:05:35 PM
As long as banks keep up with digital currencies, I don't think that Bitcoin or this market in general can kill central banks. I've heard already that there are some banks which have started accepting cryptocurrencies also. And that's the right thing to do for them to survive in the future.

Crypto should be a new program from a bank that is willing to accept Crypto. So if people go to the bank they will have two different investment options than the rest. but I haven't seen any such bank. maybe in the next few years we will find it.
OP is talking about Central Bank which is printing the paper money whenever the government wants them to do, so if limited amount of Bitcoin becomes adopted as payment mode then the need of paper money will be obsolete so they will never let the Bitcoin to become legal tender in their country.
The increasing adoption of cryptocurrencies all around the globe have made more countries to develop their own cryptocurrencies. This will give some visibility to cryptocurrency, but the government backed cryptocurrency is just as the digital form of traditional fiat. The change happens when people get used to it, and we're at the very beginning stage of such transition. However the ultimate aim of Central Banks is to keep the people's money under their control.

This is why bitcoin will not replace the money that Central Banks are releasing. Because they have no full control when it comes to bitcoin. CBs may just create their own digital currencies but it will not go to the option of using bitcoin as their sole currency. So nope, bitcoin will not kill Central Banks. The usage of bitcoin may increase but it will never replace the money produced by CBs.
949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Becareful with Meme Coins on: July 03, 2021, 10:30:31 PM
Maybe I'm one of the lucky ones to never be interested in meme coins (shits), everyone is just too crazy about memes and I don't know what's going on in their brains

Not everyone though. Haven't touched any of these meme coins/tokens also. Because their lifespan is uncertain and short-lived. No use case so they can easily disappear in the market after the pump and dump of the dev team. Also, just take for example the SHIB project, if you will check their thread here in the forum, you will ask why they even made it to binance with that crappy ANN? So it is a matter of demand in the market why binance listed it. But it won't be long, people will start to get away from these meme projects.
950  Economy / Economics / Re: After 1 year of Covid 19 Virus on: July 03, 2021, 10:01:52 PM
Still on the waiting list after signing up for vaccination months ago. Hoping to be vaccinated as soon as possible having day jobs in this pandemic is a problematic and troublesome. Bringing food to the table is not as easy as it used to but due to this pandemic I was able to learn new skills in relation to my line of work.
In my country there is no issue with the vaccines, i wonder which country would that be struggling to get vaccines, but i do accept the fact that jobs are a problem and for the past year many lost their jobs and i am not getting my perks for a while and i need to find something else to make a living. If you are planning to learn new skills then internet is your teacher and you can learn anything from it.

Lucky for those who have no problem getting the vaccine. Because there are still so many countries that are still waiting for their vaccine supply to arrive or better yet, only small percentage has been vaccinated because of the lack of supply. But at least, seems that pandemic is starting to be contained because of the deployment of the vaccines all around the world. This is once in a lifetime to remember for this generation. Lockdown globally is very rare to happen.
951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a bad time for altcoins? on: July 03, 2021, 09:35:25 PM
Legit coins remains legit coins forever and shitty coins bull movement is just for short time. Meme coins are just over hyped. Its not like that legit coins dev are not doing anything its just a matter of time soon you will see legit will also move good. We should be patient and should not judge the legit coins like this.
Every project team tries to pretend their coin as legit. And there are lots of legit coin in crypto market. Some meme coins are also legit but most of the meme coin don't have utility usage and no good team behind the project. Meme coins can't stay as trending for long time. While other popular altcoins price goes up and down. But legit and popular alts price gradually increase in the long term with a strong support.
yes, I think so too, that investing in cryptocurrencies is very high risk especially if you put your money wrong in a bad project. but i believe out there there are still lots of legit coins and dev who are serious about developing their projects but the problem is time. partners, investors, big community is a strong support. these days there are tons of meme coins flying especially on BSC platform but I don't think it can last long maybe just some of them.
No one would put their money in a bad project, when we invest, we always think that it's the best project and that putting our money on it will make us profitable in the long run. With a huge percent of scams in the market, we need to be careful, and we have to study, if we don't do that, then that's the correct definition of putting our money in bad projects as we are just guessing.

This is the reason why you should not follow the hype as most of these memecoins will have short lifespan. No use case, difficult to survive. Whereas, there are projects that have real technology and use case. And they are actually implementing that technology. Those types are the ones worth following for. Because even without the hype, people will use it if they have indeed use case. And they can survive because there will be loyal users that will sustain their market.
952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][IZOBI]🔥IZOBI HANDYMAN APP - A Unique Marketplace🔥🔴PRE SALE ON LIVE🔴🔴 on: July 03, 2021, 09:03:19 PM
The usual bottleneck is the actual deployment of the app. How are you going to promote your app for all those potential freelancers? Most of them are not acquainted with blockchain technology. Would it be easy for those users not to understand how crypto works before they can use your app? Because I believe, that may be one hesitation of these freelancers, they don't know anything about crypto, so they will just use the regular app instead? How are you going to convince them to try your app?
953  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is there a pattern when there is a dump like this? on: July 03, 2021, 08:21:37 PM
The pattern will always be there, but we can miss something important that will guide us to determine where the price will move. The news will still be news. Sometimes it can impact the market but vice versa. We have to be observant analyzing the market because sometimes, the pattern will not show clearly to make us analyze deeper to find the next clue.

But to know if the next minute will be dump is not easy because the sign is tough to analyze and the volume can become bigger or lower in any second.
The patterns are not clear because there are none. Those news are the only thing that moves bitcoin market forward, it could be higher or lower but they are the ones that does it. During the big bull run of this past year we had amazing news, from Elon Musk to paypal to Germany to many other things like big corporations going in, and after that when we went down from Elon Musk to Chinese ban to many other things that caused it to go down as well.

Long story short without those news there is no bitcoin movement, for a while there are no major news bad or good and the price got stuck, now you can check for patterns but only because there are no news, the moment we get a big news either good or bad that will decide on where the price will go. That is just how crypto works and as long as you get news and act accordingly you will make some profit.

In my opinion also, you can't deduce clear patterns from here. So the question of the OP about knowing when the dump has stopped and it is already at the lowest and starts increasing again is a very subjective matter. One can only see the pattern once the time has passed. You can only predict what may happen but still the market is influenced by many factors. One can just be alert what's happening around him so you can act accordingly when the market starts to show a different trend.
954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] WhatCoin - POW (GhostRider) | ASIC And FPGA Resistant | Mainnet Is Live on: July 03, 2021, 02:08:03 AM
What real world use cases are you going to explore here? Because that's very generic statement. You need to be more specific on what you want to achieve here. Also, if you want merchants to accept your coin, you need to introduce your coin to them not the other way around. Because these merchants will go after btc or other popular alts and not your never-heard coin. Just my 2 cents here.
955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin security in the long term on: July 02, 2021, 11:58:17 PM
When Bitcoin gets to a stage where the mined supply is basically 21m (that is, very little remaining btc left to be mined), will Bitcoin still remain a secure network?

I think this is a very advanced level of thinking. You know that the amount of block rewards is halved every four years, meaning that one halving is completed after mining every 210,000 blocks. If it continues like this, we will be able to continue effortlessly with Bitcoin till 2150 without any worries. It is hoped that by the year 2150, an alternative solution will be invented. So it is easy to say yes Bitcoin still remains a secure network.

That's a long way to go for bitcoin. So right now, we don't have to worry about such possible occurrence. And we don't even know by that time if bitcoin technology is still in use or already an obsolete tech. And most of us right now, will not see that day anymore.
And regarding quantum technology, right now, it is still more on speculation to how it will impact bitcoin tech. We need to see first the actual effect on bitcoin tech before we conclude on this aspect.
956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Beat Bind (BBND) White Paper is released and Pre-Sale has started on: July 02, 2021, 11:16:31 PM
Is the project still active in terms of development? The thread here is idle but the website is still up. The team should post updates on their project so people will see that this is still an active project. Only newbies that are posting? Hope they are not accounts of the team themselves.
957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ButKoin is decentralized secure cryptocurrency on: July 02, 2021, 10:29:14 PM
This project has no negative feedback but it is not gaining attention from the community. The site is very simple and not the usual site of a blockchain project, the people behind it don't put their resources to hire a web developer. But anyway, it is up to you if you will mine this coin or not. Also, the exchange- exbitron.com, I only encounter this exchange here. So if you are a trader, just do your own due diligence if you will trade on this exchange.
958  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you define a good exchange? on: July 02, 2021, 09:55:33 PM
I want to assume by exchange you are only talking about Centralized exchange!
To me it should have a minimum which one can withdraw without a need for KYC, and that minimum should be high enough!! If possible no KYC!
Must be super secured, I don't need any insurance, if it's secured enough you wouldn't need insurance in the first place!
The interface should be easily navigable!
Fees must be at fixed and at barest minimum, no matter the trade size!
What else? That's all!!

You can't really be sure about the security of the platform up until someone tries to hack into their system. That's why for me, insurance is important just like what is present in Binance. Because even top exchanges boasting the security layer of their network, hackers will always be there and they will try and try with sophisticated softwares to hack into their system. No one is totally safe these days.
959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Pre-Sale] GoMeat 🚀 Empowering The Specialty Meat Industry 🚀 on: July 01, 2021, 11:34:53 PM
Does GoMeat project has another website to refer to? Before the introduction of this project in the blockchain industry? Because it says, it has been in operations since 2019, with about 15 stores at that time. Do they have other website (old one) to check about their existence? Where is their physical office (exact address if possible) currently located?
960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥Shrew🔥 💳 The World's First Global Retail Loyalty Rewards Crypto Token 🛒 on: July 01, 2021, 10:13:01 PM
Guys, this project has potential, but it needs some serious marketing behind it in order to compete in the Bsc space

Adoption is necessary for this project to be successful. What countries are they going to start deploying this app? They need to attract many users as much as they can and partner with merchants or shops, so people can really use the rewards that they will get from availing the app. Do they have initial list of merchants that will be participating on this service?
