- Right. Freebie robbers on probabilities of gamblers from working class. :-)
Who does not like freebie anyway? Grin

Lets get them before the time runs out. However getting to the 10th roll itself means waiting for 10hours straight, half the day is going to go off with that, so I dont prefer doing it much. Still it seems to made the thread regulars very excited, so continue hunting those GTs if you have not already.

Hoping to see the next lambo winner from this forum.
942  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoneyPot - Crash with the lowest house edge on: February 21, 2024, 02:41:50 PM
Good to hear your Moneypot investiment had a good outcome: just had a quick look at both investiment pages ( MP and BaB) and I saw there is a huge difference in commission applied MP takes (better say took) a 0.2% while BaB a huge 84%     Shocked
As you seem to be quite deep into investment dynamics do you know the reason/logic behind that huge commission BaB takes from the net profit?
This only applies when the bankroll's profit reaches an all time high. Then the commission rate is applied and the casino keeps that percentage of money for itself and the investors get the rest. I think the difference in percentages is because the total bankroll was much different on these two sites. MP bankroll was ~30BTC and BAB bankroll was around 1740BTC.

However I am not sure if this is the only reason, maybe @devans or @leomedina can give a more precise answer.

But moneypot is shutting down so these numbers dont mean much anymore. Cry
943  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you won a bet with your last cash? on: February 20, 2024, 02:21:56 PM
-snip-
Considering you already have some loans open with @shashan, you should think twice before making such foolish decisions. You were lucky this time and probably got away with it, but this type of lucky situations dont repeat and that is the sole reason why people lose money after getting the false confidence from a previously won bet.

Please consider managing your bankroll properly and playing with only what you can afford to lose. Not doing so means a vicious cycle of being broke, taking a loan to gamble and bring broke even more.
944  Economy / Economics / Re: Leadership and Economics on: February 20, 2024, 02:17:05 PM
Good leaders and government policies set the stage for success by creating opportunities and stability. But at the end of the day, your personal choices and actions are a big part of your own success. It's like a teamwork between what's happening around you and what you decide to do
You cannot possibly be part of the team that decides the affairs of the country. You thus have very little role to play here and let the government decide how the country progresses. We tend to have our own opinions as to how the economy should grow and all but these are all short-sighted thoughts unable to see the big picture we make such comments and it seems as though the government is doing it wrong - they are not, still its tough to make the common people understand.

Yes, but a good environment will influence the person to be better, different from a bad environment.
The decision is in your hands, but the environment has a big influence on a person's life.
A good working government will influence the people whom they govern, and thus a good leader will leave an impression of the people they lead.
945  Economy / Economics / Re: Life is cheaper with Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general on: February 20, 2024, 02:14:09 PM
Interesting mate, every educated person needs to know and be informed about bitcoin because bitcoin is the real deal right now.Bitcoin is the mother of all cry pro currencies,it is not just a currency but a revolutionary and phenomenal money that functions without second thought or without interference;a currency without a government.
Bitcoin needs the internet and electricity to be used, so governments can shut these down in a dire or war like situation if they wish to and then you would not be able to use bitcoin. However the chances of such things happening is small.

Bitcoin is a game of risk and reward. You have your part to play so as bitcoin does.Bitcoin is turning the world most accepted digital currency, and people will have no choice but to embrace.
Nah, they always have a choice. It is not that bitcoin is the final currency ever, fiat will always co-exist with bitcoin and even though fellow forum members might not like it, bitcoin is the less known and less accepted currency as compared to any fiat currency.

Of course in our forum here, we think we are god like after owning bitcoin, it is not so in the outside world. You need both fiat and crypto.
946  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoneyPot - Crash with the lowest house edge on: February 20, 2024, 02:08:42 PM
Have you considered leaving moneypot up and running but for a different currency ( or more than one)?
Leo is now going to be the owner of Bustabit and Bustadice. He is shutting down Moneypot to focus on further development of these sites and buying it from Daniel. It is possible he might bring in new changes in BAB.

My investment on Moneypot was a success, today I withdrew my original BTC that I invested at the start of this year with a good amount of interest, I just wish I had invested even earlier, because the bankroll was small my stake was large and thus the profits were also big.

It is a sad goodbye to this site, thanks for giving us investors a chance to make money. I will continue my investment on bustabit and see things through there.

948  Local / India / Re: Paytm Bank will no longer operate starting from March 1. on: February 19, 2024, 04:04:08 PM
Paytm UPI was the best option for me and now I'm using Bhim which is much more complicated. Paytm had its own bank and it was easy to add and withdraw money which is not offered by other UPI alternatives.
BHIM app is good but is overfeatured and is often clanky to use. In that sense, GPay and Phonepe has better interfaces and I use GPay almost regularly to make payments hoping for some good cashbacks. They used to give away few single digit INR value cashbacks directly back in 2020 but they dont anymore.

Still I keep getting hopeful I will get some one fine day.

As far as Paytm is concerned, I can see them selling off to someone else and moving on.
949  Local / India / Re: Consequences of skipping 30% capital gains tax! on: February 19, 2024, 04:01:10 PM
In 2014, I had received a demand letter from IT. At that time I was trading on local stocks and I did make some profit at that time. The amount they questioned was not so big as it was my initial days of trading.
Taxation from stock market trading is much more streamlined on the website, indeed all these things have become easier to fill in with the development of the Indian government websites. But for crypto such sections need to be filed on our own.

I am hence not selling anything currently, waiting for a better situation to come in future. I understand that this might not be the case with most of my fellow members here.
950  Local / India / Re: Suggestion! Access Banned International Exchanges with VPNs that Accepts Crypto. on: February 19, 2024, 03:58:34 PM
DEX is expensive in terms of fees, low liquidity that is why centralized exchanges beat everything when it comes to convenience. And if your going to trade only altcoins then you are supposed not to pay any taxes that means we are not violating the taxation but we have to be careful if exchange prohibits using from banned jurisdiction then our account will be under risk all the time.
You eventually have to go through the conversion of the altcoins into INR and when you do that you get the taxation slapped on your face like a
fresh tomato, which you now have to wipe off, apart from eating it. Undecided

I say, there is no clean method to evade the tax, so dont try to evade it. Pay it and continue with crypto as you would. At present we dont have any better option.
951  Economy / Economics / Re: A course worth studying ? on: February 19, 2024, 03:54:46 PM
That's true, as I said above, I majored in photography, worked in a coffee shop, but my interest was in the world of mechanics, this didn't spread. but because it was to improve my financial situation, I did what I found as work.
It does not necessarily have to be that gloomy. Of course to make ends meet, we all have to do things that we are not proud of but dont let that weigh you down.

Maybe in the near future you will be able to save your earnings from the coffee shop job to start your own joint promoted with the help of your own clicked pictures and then get that mechanical degree down the line and use that build the next state of the art coffee machine?

Or maybe not, but that dont matter, what matters is that your tried to live life your way.
952  Economy / Reputation / Re: Standing Strong Against Unjust Attacks: A Call for Community Support on: February 19, 2024, 03:41:52 PM
I suggested to the OP to create such a thread, of course this should be enough to guide a path in case the accused somehow "manages" to creep into the DT network - literally no chance but just for caution.

It is fairly clear here as the account making the threats has got no substantial credibility to their accusations and blackjack.fun should now begin to "Ignore" this person and move on with the development of their own casino.

OP should be clear as to how this happened and why they are a fair casino. Take help of a translator in case the first language is not English. Even then Ignoring the troll is the best thing to do here. Going away from this forum allows the troll to think that they won and it feeds their mental illness. So let them live in the shadows and pass comments while you promote your casino.
953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling between the past and nowadays on: February 19, 2024, 03:35:04 PM
Online gambling too the uptrend when the smartphones became useful enough to run po*n and games.  Tongue

Seriously speaking, computers and their home use rampantly led to the boom of the casino industry too. Now people would not have to travel to a physical casino to actually play the game but can do so from their home. Indeed times of being locked up in the house like the pandemic led to further increase but I was here before that it was already booming.

The outlook is indeed good, it is a sector worth becoming a part of, discreetly.
954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling friendly countries on: February 19, 2024, 03:32:21 PM
We all know that gambling income is heavily taxed in most of the countries. This is because most of the countries have separate taxes for the gambling related income. I want to know which are the most gambling friendly countries which charge very less or nil income tax on gambling winnings ?
You can get a good idea about such countries easily from a search engine query. At present, my country is not friendly towards gambling and therefore the rise and popularity of online casinos.

Its because people want to gamble and it is full of taxation in lines of lottery as well which is legal. Therefore people are using crypto to avoid these problems altogether and move to a different mode of gambling.

I think Monaco might me your go to country. But crypto is not a bad option here.
955  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When is the best time to trade a Bitcoin on: February 18, 2024, 07:57:41 AM
Having Bitcoin at this time is a very big achievement for anyone who has it now, but as everyone one may know no condition is permanent in the market you may have the up and downs loss and profit depending on how you strategically plan your personal business.
What does bitcoin halving have to do with your personal business? Are you using bitcoin payments there?

Quote
Now I observed that Bitcoin is like a gamble of football game whereby you go to the bet shop book your bet and wait for what will come sometimes you win sometimes fear can make you cash out after your cash out you may be lucky and sometimes you might lose something you would have gotten if you had waited.
Bitcoin is a currency, it is not a game. Trading bitcoin carries a risk of being somewhat similar to gambling but if you consider spot trading is it much less than gambling while non-spot trading methods like leverage, futures are pure gambling.

Same to Bitcoin patience matters alot you may sometimes sell your Bitcoin because of fear of depreciation in value exchange while some still hold on to it
I just discovered that Bitcoin most times depreciates in day time but when it gets to late hours at night it increases its exchange value I don't know if anyone has this observation as well
You dont sleep when the entire world sleeps, you sleep when its night in your place. Roll Eyes Its called Timezones. Rest of the text is thus wrong.
956  Economy / Economics / Re: Save money today so money would save you tomorrow. on: February 18, 2024, 07:52:54 AM
Necessary and unnecessary spending need to be segregated first. That eating out every week needs to be reduced to once per month, stop smoking, alcohol and hookers and using public transport or your own cycle instead of a cab might be the first things certain people need to do. These are not necessities of life and can be reduced.

There are more ways to save money too - things can be done for TV shows and movies, but this generation will not remember our times of torrents anymore. I dont promote the idea of piracy but they should learn about it too.

Savings will help in times of emergency, bitcoin may not because your country may not be the lenient few who allowed crypto use, so indeed it is important.
957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever introduced an elder gambler to online betting? on: February 18, 2024, 07:47:08 AM
If you live in first world or rich countries, you have many options because you earn enough, either you use your money for investment, entertainment, both etc.
First world country people may be "rich" numerically, but the cost of living there is also high balancing out the difference in numbers. However I do agree that the chance of gambling there is much higher as compared to the rest of the world at least in brick and mortar casinos. On online casinos I have seen third world country users also in high number since they are living in cities where physical casino might face legal troubles and thus dont exist.

For this second group the chance to play in casino is like an unfulfilled dream. For the older people there the casino would be a new thing to try and thus they might want to play. But this is number is small and most of the older people in developing countries are not in a shape to sit in front on a pc or mobile and play with their money.
958  Economy / Gambling / Re: What would you like to ask a crypto casino owner? on: February 18, 2024, 07:36:20 AM
Since I mostly invest in casino bankrolls, my questions to the owner would be

-Whether they are going to open the casino bankroll to be invested in future if they have not already?
-If no, What are the reasons for them not opening such investments?

I will make a guess that the casino in question is wolf.bet and I will be watching the thread for the full interview.

Interest amounts for 16th February was omitted in my case too. It would not bother me much at this stage because its just one day but this repeating in the future might not seem a good thing for the site after years of trust. I assume it was due to lack of players on the site on that day and thus enough money to pay out everyone was not generated.

My trust in the site remains unchanged, however it would be reassuring to hear from the official folks as to why the interest got omitted.

Cannot login in due to the ongoing DDOS issue. If I remember correctly, because I dont follow their twitter page, there was a 4x Reward point promo running during these two days? Guess we will have to skip that and all for now and just wait it out.

Seems like the issue started yesterday, I never noticed because I have been busy with work and now finally got time to wind down in the weekend. Hoping things get settled soon.

Less than a week left for BTC/ETH price prediction and the ranges as well as the odds looks promising this time.
If we place our bets both on $50k - $55k and $55k - $60k, we will be able to take a good spot hoping BTC not to fall further from here.
I will still wait a few more days to take my range and then place my bets on the last day to stay on the safer side.
Bitcoin price is correcting from 52k to 51k and I guess the selling pressure is catching up with the bull run.
