941  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What DEX exchange do you use? on: August 07, 2019, 10:55:33 AM
Etherdelta is the decentralized exchange that I've used for a long. It has got a large number of tokens listed. There is not much of volume which makes it hard for trade get accomplished. The way the exchange function is good, and for some reason it requires certain level of knowledge than using a centralized exchange.
942  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 07, 2019, 10:18:25 AM
Yesterday, Netherlands was beaten by UAE, what a surprise!! Netherlands was a far better team than UAE. Even though one of their opener scored 65, they weren't able to chase 152, nice to see little teams are getting win over big team.

Never expected such a poor series from WI.
West Indies over the days were not that good with their games. When the players of West Indies play on special leagues like ipl they give a big performance but to the home team there isn't very big performance. Against India it isn't that big fail, but at least it should have won a match. The match between Netherlands and UAE gives a clear view of the UAE team making themselves strong little by little.
943  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hey Tomorrow ask your boss if you can be paid in bitcoin. on: August 07, 2019, 09:08:44 AM
Asking for a pay in bitcoin might make the boss know about bitcoin. We've reached a good level in the market, and further we need to have patience till the day comes for us to buy everything with bitcoin. As more countries are in the event of regulating bitcoin right now something we do relative to cryptocurrency need to be kept confidential because corrupt governments always look for someone to expose news to the public.
944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does hard work in gambling count? on: August 07, 2019, 08:32:12 AM
For any gambling, the presence of certain knowledge is very important.  If you take for example card games, not only should you know this game fully and all its features, gamblers should have certain qualities.  Especially if a person has a phenomenal memory and mathematical abilities, then he will have a much greater chance of good results.  Therefore, to study and memorize, it is always hard work.
Maybe that's the fact with card games. When it comes to sports betting hard work pays as we analyze better and better gaining more information about the teams and its records which helps in choosing the odds. When it comes to most of the casions smart work as well as the limiting factors is the must that helps in getting wins.
945  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does anyone else get crazy high anxiety when they transfer btc between wallets? on: August 07, 2019, 08:13:32 AM
I follow the same process that I did when I made the first bitcoin transaction years back. It was just 0.001btc. I came to know about it through my friend and he guided me to create a wallet and the further process of sending transactions. Suggested me to go with the fee that's been levied automatically. Even now I follow the same process and showed how it gets reflected on the network. Once after making the transaction I'll check with the network. Later automatically it used to get credited once confirmed. There is nothing to complicate as my funds transfered were small. While doing large volume transactions more pre checks is a must.
946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I've lost on: August 07, 2019, 03:04:54 AM
I've lost big. Over the last two or three years, I've lost 60K in total. It was almost my entire savings.
It started out with a large investment in bitcoin when the price was about 13K.
When the price dropped to below 4K, I lost all hope after waiting forever and gambled it on bitcoin gambling sites trying to triple it up, just to make my money back.
I lost that and a lot more. Never imagined it turning out this way. Especially after the price went back up.
I don't have a lot of close people to turn to nowadays. It's hard to get through each day feeling horrible. Just needed to reach out somewhere.
Sorry if this isn't the place.
I've encountered the same scenario, out of frustration deposited the fund of six ethereum that I was holding for a long term profit got vanished on 2nd August. That was my biggest savings, and I never point gambling sites were bad. I won two ethereum risking for a long, but I was not clear with the exit.
947  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blow To Bitcoin As iPhone-Maker Apple Reveals Sudden Swerve!!! on: August 05, 2019, 10:41:18 PM
Every corporate firm tries to have their own coin and they are just gonna function as an integrated wallet having fiat reserve that can be used for all form of payments. This is not gonna make any blow to bitcoin which is completely a P2P network which can't be stopped by anyone for any reasons. These cryptocurrencies were to compete within themselves and not against bitcoin for various reasons.
948  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen to banks? on: August 01, 2019, 11:23:32 PM
Op has stated few things for which the banks will continue its service. Those were really the services provided by the banks, now the same services were possible through cryptocurrency. As everything is decentralized there is no authority to be questioned if some flaw happens in between. Upon trust we need to move forward, and here technical knowledge is a must while there are people to help in banks. Banks usage will continue, maybe there will be integrated usage in the future.
949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why I don’t share Strategies anymore? on: August 01, 2019, 10:20:53 PM
It is OP realize that we can't copy others winning strategies that is why sometimes we loss and sometimes we win just because we have different strategies applied in gambling. If we all use the same way,  I don't know how it works but possible we end up still losing against the house.
It is better to have our own and to find out what is the most effective strategies...And of course,  the luck in playing.
Strategies will never coincident with any of the games as different scripts will be used for different gambling websites. It isn't possible to find over which platform the script is being developed. However we follow strategies the win will be based on the luck and the self control you have over spending on consecutive games.
950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does gambling affect your overall lifestyle? on: August 01, 2019, 09:41:23 PM
With the way gambling has been elaborated in the OP which many players go through then gambling will make your lifestyle very difficult and boring because you will be a broke gambler chasing your loses and bad social skills.

Gambling has known to destroy a lot of families and we all know that. Not only your family but your own self at first. If a gambler doesn't know how to hold himself in front of gambling games, he will probably end up broke and have a messy life. So as we can see, gambling has really impact on gambler's life but as for me, since I am not a regular gambler, it doesn't affect my lifestyle.
This is real, gambling when done without self control the destruction caused is very big. Just for an understanding if an user has lost $10 in gambling, and on the consecutive match he'll place $20 to get back the loss as well the winning profit for the match. This needs to be understood and spend. Once on loss getting out of control takes place often. User should be take time and spend, so it might help in identifying the mistakes too.
951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is better Government run Lottery or private run Lottery on: July 31, 2019, 08:11:15 PM
Government lotteries were much preferred over the private ones. If employees associated with the lottery were found pocketing money it is time to correct them or replace with another employee. This will be the right choice than suspending the lottery as there will be people who are regular buyers with hope of winning it someday.
952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does hard work in gambling count? on: July 31, 2019, 07:21:46 PM
I am curious to know if someone continually invested a lot of time in studying a game involved in gambling, further if he had played the game a lot to understand the intricacies involved, then can we call him an expert in that gambling game? If we do call him an expert then we clearly differentiate his experience and expertise from that of a novice. This clearly shows that the person is capable of winning more as an expert than the novice who really does not have the in-depth understanding of the play.

This brings us to an interesting question if hard work in gambling really pays off? If one puts in a lot of efforts to understand a game involved in gambling, does it mean that all his time has gone down the drain? Certainly no. If gambling were simply a blind guess or a wild shot then even years of studying it makes it useless because one is simply guessing the outcome blindly. But such is not the scenario with gambling in reality. What makes hard work count in gambling?

This further sets off the question of addiction in gambling. Work can also be an addiction for many. But here the addiction could be for perfecting the game and the art of playing. This kind of addiction is to struggle every time for success by proper calculation and review. However, addiction can also be due to pure greed of winning with no clear knowledge of the game. If hard work counts, then we may actually find a solution for a healthier addiction towards success in gambling.

You cannot get rewarded for studying games in gambling.
Platforms work with different rules and they have different house edges and algorithms behind. So whatever you study and how much time you spend on it, it will never pay back.
Agreed, this is the reason everytime we think about gambling there is always discussion about one of the most important factor named luck. None gets rewarded for learning, but this helps in choosing the better odds and increase the winning chance when we are at the edge of winning.
953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Subscription fee for sports betting tips on: July 29, 2019, 10:02:33 PM
Hey together,

I would like to hear some opinions on the topic of subscriptions fees for sports betting tips - no shitposting pleaseeeeee...!

What price would you be willing to pay for a subscription in order to receive sports betting tips? What factors are important and decisive for you? What price would you be comfortable paying? I just want to test the waters and see what people think.

Thank you very much in advance for a constructive discussion! Smiley
Even if it is $10 a month there is very small number of users prefer sports betting subscriptions. Maybe one in fifty members might go for a subscription, when it comes to sports betting users always prefer the game on which they have clear knowledge. Very few will go for matches that they don't have a better data and pick odds on a random manner.
954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbetting odds, which do you prefer? on: July 26, 2019, 04:53:58 PM
It is good to bet in sports which are profitable and good to win a game.

There is no such thing as a profitable sports, everything depends on the gambler itself, sportsbook won't offer sports that they will loss their business.
From my understanding profitable seems to be the sports that can be easily predicted. As in the quote gambling site owners will always try to take their edge through some way. For this they keep on making calculations on the odds until the match starts. Winning depends on the gambler and his ability to predict and choose the right odd.
955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is bitcoin gambling really accepted in China ? on: July 26, 2019, 03:06:28 PM
Here in our country, we have many Chinese gambling operators, it seems illegal in their country, but they operate it in a country like ours, Chinese are good in creating a lot of gambling sites online and I 'm pretty sure that they are also accepting and creating Bitcoin gambling sites, just look at Justin Sun's Tron.
It is true that Chinese are good at developing gambling websites and make it reach the common people with ease. From my view China doesn't have much of gambling access, but they have Hong Kong next to them. Chinese people seems to enjoy gambling from Hong Kong where it is regulated.
956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What messenger do you use to chat with your crypto gambling buddies? on: July 26, 2019, 02:42:07 PM
These day almost every gambling website has got chat rooms as well chat support making everything easier for the gamblers. These chatrooms were much used by the gamblers to discuss about the games where they've bet as well won. Some gambling websites have been giving some rewards for people sharing the bet slip. This way sharing of information related to gambling sites takes place through these chatrooms and through our forum.
957  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is for scammers, yea right! on: July 25, 2019, 02:50:57 AM
my neighbor ask about trading, "can you make and withdraw money from trading?" and i said, yes i can. but he still unbelieve and ask more and more the same question. so i explain basic of trading.
actually they just less information about bitcoin, what they know is negative news, so they called it scam.
This is the reality, rather than the good the bad news easily reaches the common people who keeps on running for their daily life. Bitcoin is nothing an exception. Very few understand in the right way and explain good about the good and true value of the cryptocurrency.

Another thing, some people without any proper understanding used to get into bitcoin usage and with their mistake they couldn't make big earning and might have experience big loss. This creates a negative thinking in their mind and the same will be spread, and these people never realize their mistake.
958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 22, 2019, 11:00:53 PM
What do you guys think about Federer, he already have 20 GS. Do you think he will manage to get one more or few?

He is still one of the best in the game but I don't think he will win another match against Djokovic. Djokovic is firmly inside his head as recent head to head suggests. Therefore, I am seeing Federer as probable semi-finalist in grand slams but not a winner. He is not getting any younger. Hopefully I am wrong and we will see him lift another grand slam.

Yes Federer is one of the all time greats, no doubt about that. I think he can still win but not at the expense of Djokovic as he is just on fire lately specially in grass court.

But as fans we wanted to see Federer win some before he finally retires and then Djokovic taken over from him in terms of the number of Grand slam wins.

Federer will not be winning any more grand slams due to his age, and the stiff competition he gets in the form of Djokovic and others. I felt he should have retired when he was winning, and that could have kept his legacy intact. Djokovic may break Federer record but it’s a long way for him to get fans respect, I’m referring to the incident where he was booed by fans in the final set.

News Source: https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/9508590/federer-loving-wimbledon-booing-djokovic/

Not sure why Djokovic was booed like he was in the final but sometimes this can make players even more determined to win as I remember when Victoria Azarenka was receiving the same treatment in the Australian final, I believe it was the 2013 final and she got up and won. She was even brought to tears after the match so I think the crowd does sometimes need to show some respect even if they don't support the other player.

Djokovic had a very difficult life, he still remembers the 1999 bombing of Serbia and he has already had many difficult moments in his career.
If they are all against him then he is even more determined to win and then he is actually stronger and nobody can beat him.
He is a great champion and I hope he will once receive a deserved respect.

Djokovic having a heart of a champion against all odds he became what he is now, or maybe he is will polished by some circumstances that makes him tougher and agile.

If we compare them then for some statistic that can be found on net Djokovic won more grand slams when competing with Federer and Nadal. Federer won most of them before Nadal and Djokovic were top players. How I may say that Australian open is Djokovic to take, Roland Garros for Nadal, Wimbledon was Federers and US open can take all 3 of them.
That's really a cool way of prediction. This used to happen most of the time, and in specific I've come across Federer winning the Wimbledon twice. Both the time it was a fight back match, in one match it was Nadal who was in the lead 2-1 and finally Federer took it 3-2 which is completely unpredictable and that confirmed Wimbledon is for Federer.
959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thoughts on Video game gambling addiction? on: July 19, 2019, 07:25:48 PM
These days the addiction has gone far beyond the video games. Right now most of the addiction happens with games that gets connected to the other player through internet. Here the game is being played between players and not against the computer. This makes the games more interesting, but the after effects were very worse in terms of health and mental behavior as most of the games were related to violence, war fight, etc
960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is parlay an effective betting strategy? on: July 18, 2019, 11:33:04 AM
No betting strategy is effective because any form of sports betting is a risk.

If you do parlay bets, your chances of winning will not depend on the fact that it's "parlay betting" you're doing but rather on how careful you are when choosing the teams to bet on and on how good those teams are in the real game.

So when doing parlay, I suggest one be sure to know the game and the teams so well. Otherwise, there are always other types of bets to make.

Here's an article you can check out about the different betting types: https://www.bitcoinsportsbetting.co.uk/news/most-common-types-of-sports-bets/
Agreed, every betting strategy is a way to increase the winning chances. No strategy assure of wins, however big is the betting amount. In parlay betting we bet on a series of games, winning the entire games gets a bigger win, if not it will end up losing. Understanding the same it is always good to spend on games that one has got better knowledge about the team players and its previous records.
