why do poeple seem to think an update is coming? What are the changes we'll get that gox update on monday?
nobody promised update on monday this and the next update will be that withdrawals are back on a limited basis, then thanks to bobthebuilder everyone will bypass the withdrawals limits, then thousands of accounts will request the max daily limit for days on end, and..... it all gone!  |

Let's see whether I got it right: someone noticed that MtGOX made a tiny transaction, which actually was like several others that they had been doing all along since the lock-in; a transaction which had nothing to do with withdrawals, and moreover was rejected by the network because it contained mined bitcoin that was too fresh -- a bug that MtGOX's software was known to have, and which apparently has not been fixed yet. That is why the market suddenly got excited and optimistic, and the price jumped up by 10% in a few hours . Correct?
Earlier today, Gox jumped up 100% and right on its coat tail, Stamp increased on very large volume from $580 to $620. The recent 'spike' has been on a fraction of the volume. tell us again how you have no bitcoins therefore have no emotional bias and know price is highly inflated it makes me lol |

Fuck these irrational markets. Bitstamp rises because MtGox rises. Then MtGox rises because Bitstamp rose. These two exchanges are jerking each other to the fucking moon.

things are getting interesting on gox.
watching price on mtgox closely. I think the price on stamp and btc-e is heavily manipulated by big fishes, so all of you who are trying to find the bottom you might find your answer on gox.
oh, the irony.
If Gox goes up 60% on minor news, it obviously follows that if they do even look like announcing withdrawals are 'back' we will see epic price rises, extremely fast. Bears beware. And then we'd see people selling their Gox coins at Stamp and BTC-e to even that rise out and probably go even lower where we are at those two exchanges at this moment. It's tricky times. yes this has me worried as well but gox said it would impose daily limits sooooo.... tricky times indeed. |
