I would hesitate to use a Payment processor, if they cannot spell "Accept" correctly on their promotion material. Just go back to your material and look under Services offered - Web Pos -> Accpet crypto currencies.
Grammar fuckin Nazi much ? Pretty sure he is 100% more talented than you in all other aspects of life.

Sure.Sounds so cool.Ignorant.

@OP, very nice project. You might want to add @SFR's question in your main posts to avoid repetition. Right now the major problem with the existing services is the usability of the product. The famous shit-service bitpay is seemingly making it hard for the merchants to send and receive payments. They need a better replacement with a cheap fee, of course.

It's not Grammar, it is spelling and it is very unprofessional if people make those kinds of mistakes on a platform that advertise their business. If they cannot get the basics right, on something that crucial, how will they handle my money?

You know F'all about me, so rather shut your mouth, if you just typing shit to whore for your signature campaign. I came to this thread to add something constructive to improve his project, because I spotted something wrong with his/her site.

If this service wants to compete with the likes of Bitpay, then they will have to get the basics right.  Roll Eyes ...Strange how people want to crap all over you, when you just want to help someone.  Roll Eyes
9402  Economy / Economics / Re: important point on: May 27, 2018, 11:34:24 AM
government that prohibits bitcoin in some countries. If the government can accept the existence of bitcoin there are some important points in it:
* can pay off the "debt" of the country
* Improve the economy of the people
* Decrease in poverty level
I want to know what you think.
I agree with your opinion, if the government legalize bitcoin may be able to suppress the poverty rate. However, this should be balanced by promoting business and research in the field of internet and information technology. Because if without a strong network, then all will be useless

I don't see the correlation between poverty and Bitcoin. Sure - if Bitcoin flourishes, there may be an indirect impact on the economy and people could benefit. However, unlike something in the medical or agriculture fields, Bitcoin won't have a direct impact on people on the ground. I don't see how Bitcoin can pay off the debt of a country as well.

The direct correlation is that Bitcoin is currently cheaper than traditional remittance companies and a lot of these 3rd world countries have a lot of citizens that are working in 1st world countries and the less fees that are paid, the more money that are send, end up in the receivers pockets.

The normal fees on micro transactions between people are also going to be much cheaper than Banks, so that means more money in the users pockets that use Bitcoin.
9403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With Bitcoin Maximum cap . Can it be used by the whole world ? on: May 27, 2018, 08:10:42 AM
Even if the supply is capped at 21 million coins, Bitcoin was made divisible by design. This is something that cannot be done with regular fiat money, as it's only divisible up to 2 decimal places. Bitcoin is divisible by 8 decimal places (correct me if I'm wrong) allowing it to be transferred in minuscule amounts.

In the future, if fees decline in the Bitcoin network, then payments in Satoshis (the smallest form of Bitcoin) would be practical once more. With this, people can send 0.00000001 BTC easily without hassles. Depending on BTC's price in the future, that amount could be worth $1 or so. Therefore, if you divide 21 million Bitcoins into 0.00000001 BTC (which equals 1 satoshi), then the real cap of Bitcoins would be 2,100,000,000,000,000 coins in existence. That's quite enough for anyone in the world. Smiley

You forgot about something.  Wink

There are currently millions of Satashi's coins that have never been touched and then you have loads of coins that were send to burn addresses. There are also people who has lost their paper wallets or hard drives and memory sticks with bitcoins on it.

At the rate that this is happening the total amount will be significantly less and we would come to a point where a decision will have to be made to divide a Satoshi in smaller units.  Wink
9404  Other / Archival / Re: No more fake news on: May 27, 2018, 07:48:58 AM
A lot of people have their panties in a bundle, because Trump was elected with the help of fake news. The people who are to be blamed is not the official news media, but rather the Social media algorithms that were "played" to generate specific news articles of interest, when Click bait FUD articles were published.

The people behind this will just find a way to "game" this token system into doing the same.  Wink You cannot change people's behavior by introducing a token system, based on the Blockchain.  Roll Eyes
9405  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think capital controls in China will impact bitcoin price? on: May 26, 2018, 02:54:07 PM
Since we are twlking about china, yes! It does have a huge impact on bitcoin unlike other countries, we had already seen and experience whatnchina had done to the price before, if they ban exchanges prices goes down, if they make a resolution, prices goes up, and all will be excited about the price, but since this is china, the effect will last for months, since athere are still a lot of bitcoiners in china, and  I believe they also have a lot of individual mining rigs compared to other countries, since they can produce their own. One thing, I think that chine could affect bitcoin, is that most of them are lesrning the technology, unlike other countries.

If you have been in the Bitcoin scene for more than two years, you would have noticed that China constantly cause ripples in the Bitcoin pond.

They wait until the price goes upwards and when they see the price is climbing too strong, they announce some new regulations or they hit the exchanges. Lately they are seen as the fat kid that likes to bully the smaller kids around him. You know they say, there are always a bigger bully born each day and there will come a time when they will get bullied.  Grin

Watch this space.  Wink
9406  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-26] 13-Year-Old Bitcoin Kidnapping Victim Found Safe on: May 26, 2018, 02:44:06 PM
This was definitely an amateur job, they take boy and ask for ransome in BTC from people who are not rich or have any connection with cryptocurrency. They do that in front of surveillance cameras, so friend of the family is found them in a cafe shop near the place where the kidnapping took place. But it is not known how they find kidnapped boy and where he was imprisoned. When we consider that police say : "that no suspects had been arrested or charged" this story looks a little odd.

Amateur job or not, these guys still got 5.4 BTC from whomever transferred those coins to the Address they ordered it to be paid in. The problem for us is that these people got away with this and now other kidnappers are going to copy the same strategy and this is going to become the new method to get ransom money from victims.

The South African authorities will need specialized assistance from Crypto currency specialists to stop this from spreading.
9407  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-26] South African Police Investigate $80 Million Bitcoin Ponzi Scheme on: May 26, 2018, 09:38:33 AM
The people invested in this was not scammed. If someone promise you 2% interest a day, you should have already realized that it was a Ponzi scheme or something illegal. They continued investing, because they were greedy.

Some friends of mine in South Africa Skyped me about this and asked me if this was Bitcoin. I investigated this and then warned them in advance that they should warn people that it was not Bitcoin. I explained to them that it was a Ponzi scheme and that they must report this to the authorities.

They contacted me again and said that these people know that it was a Ponzi scheme and that they are going to risk it. So I washed my hands and warned my friends not to get involved with this.

SHITE like this, gives Bitcoin a bad reputation.  Angry Angry Angry

Most people also seem to use the word eCommerce or e-Commerce instead of e Commerce.  Huh

Feel free to donate to my Bitcoin address in my profile, if I spared you some embarrassment, because stuff like this might flag people's flight response, if they are looking for perfection and professionalism.

I have used Payment processors before, so I know how competitive this environment can be.  Wink  ...Small things makes a huge difference.

People like you should be thrown out this platform, reporting it to the moderator for are trying to openly Blackmail us here !!

BDW thanks for pointing out some typo.

WTF are you talking about? Do you even know what Blackmail is? Let me educate you! The definition of Blackmail is : "the action, treated as a criminal offence, of demanding money from someone in return for not revealing compromising information which one has about them."

So what "information" am I holding and Blackmailing you with? I f$^% showed you a problem with your site and this is the response that I get? I demanded NOTHING... I asked for a voluntary donation, for pointing out a spelling mistake. FFS!

I think you got mad, because I embarrassed you!  A professional site, will not make mistakes like that!

The donation was just a suggestion. It is like when someone drop their wallet and someone else finding it and return it to it's owner. The owner is not under any obligation to give a little donation, because they are grateful. <So I am not pointing a gun at your head and forcing you to make an donation> .... Polite people will just be grateful and they would make a voluntary donation.

In any way, I do not need your money. Your attitude towards people who helped you... suck! I will not be a customer, if the owner or management have such a hostile attitude towards people who helped them. Just wonder how other people will be handled, if you are this angry, when people point out your mistakes.  Angry

9409  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and retirement - how do you see your future? on: May 26, 2018, 09:01:03 AM
Just remember that Bitcoin is still highly experimental and a high risk investment. You cannot follow this strategy and think that it would be solid enough to carry you through to pensionable age. A lot of things might still happen, until your friend goes on pension. I will also adapt the strstegy a little bit, by only buying when the price is low. Do not simply buy, when you have fiat currency... wait for the price to drop and then buy.

You can keep that cash in your Bank account, until the price drop and then you buy a lot more, for the same amount.
9410  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Transfer bitcoin from one to another wallet ? on: May 26, 2018, 08:23:50 AM
Before we can give you detailed advice, I would want to ask you a few questions first :

1. What wallet are you using?
2. Do you have control over the private keys?
3. Can you configure the fees?

To move all funds, you would need to SWEEP it, but before you do that, you will have to have full control over the Private key for that wallet. Other methods just include moving the coins to another Bitcoin address, but you will have to calculate the fees and work that into the total amount that you want to move.  Wink
9411  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: FreeBitcoin Faucet - What is exact strategy? on: May 25, 2018, 07:31:04 AM
My strategy is as follows. I deposited some coins onto their site, because they give like 4% interest for all deposits and then I use that daily interest to buy lottery tickets. I have done this since they started offering interest on deposits and I have not won a single cent in the lottery.

I doubt if there are any special tactic or strategy that would guarantee you a winning spot in the lottery, but as with any other lottery system, the more tickets you buy, the higher the probability that you might win something.  Huh
9412  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Usage of Signature campaign promotion on this forum. on: May 25, 2018, 07:18:12 AM
I think one of the most successful Bitcoin businesses that was made famous by this forum, was the now defunct, Bitmixer.io

Bitmixer.io was the largest Bitcoin mixing (tumbling) service provider from 2014 to 2017. They also ran one of the longest signature campaigns on this forum.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bitmixer.IO

The biggest advantage of running a Signature campaign on this forum is the fact that you are targeting your Core market. This is the biggest target market for any Bitcoin and Crypto currency advertising on the internet.

Everyone is crying over Facebook and other social media platforms that banned Crypto advertising, but the largest target market for people who are interested in Crypto currencies are on this forum. Why would you target a broader market, when you already have millions of Crypto freaks here on this forum?

9414  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Installing LN on Tails on: May 25, 2018, 06:39:21 AM
The problem is that you will have to enable a Persistent volume to install the software. If it reboots without a Persistent volume, your channel will be lost. The whole idea with Tails is to run a clean OS with every reboot and to avoid long-term exposure to Malware and viruses. <Every reboot is a clean boot>

The LN needs to run 24/7 to retain the channel that was established. A clean boot without a Persistent volume, will wipe out the configured Channel information.  Grin
9415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Venmo declining payments...bitcoin wouldn't! on: May 25, 2018, 06:14:54 AM
This is typically what happens when companies partner with large companies. They stop caring about the individual and their support team cannot handle all the problems. Coinbase is a good example of this, because they are becoming notorious for their bad customer support and shit attitude towards their customers.

When you signup 50 000 new customers per day, you are less likely to bother with the 1000 customers you lose, due to poor customer support.  Angry
9416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Bitcoin can learn from early FM radio adoption on: May 25, 2018, 06:04:12 AM
If Bitcoin wants to learn something from radio, then they should start with this :

" Norway has become the first country in the world to start phasing out the FM radio signal in favour of Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB). "

Source : https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/jan/11/norway-begins-switching-off-analogue-radio

Bitcoin will not be the most widely used Crypto currency, if it does not scale and adapt to the changing need of it's users. Some other Alt coin will grab the opportunity to replace Bitcoin, when they offer improved features that Bitcoin does not offer and that users want.  Roll Eyes
9417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many Bitcoins are bought for campaigns on this forum? on: May 25, 2018, 05:39:20 AM
Let's make it simple for now and count the amount of Signature campaigns in Mitchell's Overview thread, which amounts to 17 Signature campaigns. < https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.820 > and then multiply that with a lower average than the $9000+ that you calculated for one of the highest paying campaigns on the forum. Say, $5000 as an average. Thus : 17 x $5000 = $85 000 p/m x 12 = $ 1 020 000 per year from signature campaigns.

So let's say Bounty campaigns and Avatar campaigns are smaller, so they add only 50% each of that, then we add another $ 1 000 000 to the total.

That leaves us with ICO's and forum advertisements and trades being done on the forum. So all and all, we might even reach $5 000 000 per year, if we are lucky.

That is quite a lot of money that are being generated from this forum, to stimulate and feed the Bitcoin network.  Wink
9418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's be honest bitcoin dies if the investors greed is not fulfilled on: May 24, 2018, 09:36:59 AM
Unfortunately your statement falls apart, because Bitcoin does not only exist for the main purpose of satisfying speculators. There are a lot of businesses that are generating income from Bitcoin as a payment option for their goods and services and they are fuelling the demand for the coin.

We always see these negative threads when the Bitcoin price decrease, so this is not even strange anymore. We are still positive that speculative trading only takes a small potion of the activity in this technology. Bitcoin businesses and true believers in the technology are the foundations of this experiment.  Wink
9419  Bitcoin / Press / [2018-05-23] Weiss Ratings: Cryptocurrency will Become ‘Fundamentally Safer’ on: May 24, 2018, 06:59:03 AM
https://www.nytimes.com/2018/05/21/business/volcker-rule-fed-banks-regulation.html

"It was one of the most significant actions by the federal government to prevent a repeat of the financial crisis." So, a couple of years has passed and these Banks are back to their old tricks!

They will just go back to their greedy nature, because they are playing with other people's money. Once you deposit money into the Bank, it is not guaranteed that you would ever see it again.

LOTTERY ROUND 155
This round, the winner with the lowest number of tickets is #10 with 1,943 tickets.
#1 won 1.26644511 BTC with 49,292 tickets.
#1 is my friend. he is very lucky Smiley

Pass on our congratulations to your friend. Always good to see a big winner.
Thanks bro, he'll be very happy for this. Wink

It will be nice, if your friend can come back to this forum and share his experience with the rest of the people here. A lot of people does not believe that actual people are winning the Lottery and that it is rigged. Testimonials from actual people that are not associated with Freebitco.in will help to destroy those allegations.

How long has he been using Freebitco.in and how much does he/she spend on the lottery?

He can stay anonymous for obvious reasons, but some feedback would be appreciated. I think the guys at Freebitco.in would welcome some personal feedback and how this changed their lives.  Wink
