9421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Market going backwards?? on: April 08, 2018, 11:59:52 AM
You do realize that this is an extremely volatile market, don't you? No one can guarantee anything and you were aware of the risks before investing into this market. I do agree that the market is scaring many investors for quite sometime now, but this does not mean that the market is dying. In fact, this is quite healthy if you think about it. This bearish trend will not last forever and the market is bound to make a reversal, but no one can accurately say when. We need good news(Lots of good news) to help pull of this reversal. HODL your coins for the moment and don't focus too much at the prices for now.
9422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: should have sell my altcoins when it was towering at the market. on: April 08, 2018, 08:33:53 AM
So many people feel what you are feeling right now which makes complete sense due to the current bear market, but this is the crypto market which is extremely volatile and has always been this way and you need to get used to these spikes. There is no guarantee that the market will bounce back within the next few months, but I am optimistic and I am confident that it will happen. I suggest HODLING your coins since you will most likely earn small profits by selling now.
9423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make money on the fall of the market. on: April 08, 2018, 06:07:48 AM
One of the ways is day trading which is a high risk high return method of earning in this industry specially when the prices of cryptocurrencies dips down very quickly. You could also check other cryptocurrencies that has raised up more that 15% within this week like Verge, Ontology, IOStoken, Elastos, aelf, WAX, Mithril and POA Network all of which is at the top 150 of the cryptocurrencies right now. You might also want to check the prices of other cryptocurrencies by next week on what other cypto will raise its price by more than 10-15%.
I do not recommend day trading at all since I feel professional traders are only capable of earning constant profits through this method. HODLING is a way better approach in this case since you are subjected to minimal stress and it is possible to earn huge profits in the long run through this method, but it is better to check your portfolio now and then. I have successfully utilized this strategy for a long period of time and am rolling in profits at the moment which is why I vouch for this method. Not everyone can stay patient for a long period though. Do your research and decide what is best for you.
9424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I think this year 1 eth will peak at $ 2000 on: April 08, 2018, 05:58:40 AM
Tough to say given the current state of the market. The bear market continues to persist due to the plethora of bad news rolling in from all directions. The recent India ban also seems to have had an impact on the market. Given such conditions, the only way Ethereum can reach $2000 is if the entire market begins rallying soon due to a plethora of good news which could happen in the near future. I still see ETH reaching $1500 by the end of this year, but the market can surprise us due to its extreme volatility just as it did on plenty of occasions before. I do hope there will be a reversal soon.
9425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Oyster Pearl scam on: April 07, 2018, 05:53:15 AM
I personally think there is a high chance Oyster is a slow bleed scam from the DEVS. CEO is Anonymous, that is such a bad way to do business. He can dump all his coins on the market and exit scam the PRL holders without any accountability.

Why start a business and try to raise millions of dollars without anyone even knowing who you are, this is what is wrong with Crypto. If things go wrong there is a good chance he can exit scam everyone instantly.

He was trying to raise 500ml dollars at the ICO, he obviously has greedy motivations as CEO and ambitions outside of simple online storage.
The whole point of crypto is to help people stay anonymous while performing financial transactions online without any sort of interference from the government, banks etc. It is completely understandable why the CEO of PRL decided to stay anonymous and no one can hold him/her accountable for anything due to the anonymous nature of this market. I have already earned thousands of dollars through this project and I do not believe that this project is a scam inspite of the disturbing sell walls which op talked about. The current bear market has clearly hit this project hard, but I still support it.
9426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS ETH GONNA REACH $200? on: April 06, 2018, 05:19:42 PM
This is completely possible and I would not be surprised if this happened in the near future. The plethora of bad news on a regular basis(Example: Recent India ban) is hurting the crypto market badly and every coin including Bitcoin is falling rapidly. Its like the haters are afraid that the market might rally again in this month just like last year which is why they are attacking the market constantly without showing any signs of slowing down. However, Ethereum still does possess great potential which is why I recommend HODLING for big profits in the future.
9427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China Ban, Hong Kong the new Center on: April 06, 2018, 05:55:18 AM
After China's ban of ICOs, mining facilities, and crypto currencies, Hong Kong is the new center for the Chinese crypto-world.

NEO (https://neo.org) and KNT (https://kora.network) are big ones who base in Hong Kong now, more will come. HK has been China's financial hub for many years, now it is slowly becoming China's crypto hub
In general, you are right. The center of trade in crypto currency is shifting from China, where the trade in crypto currency is somewhat limited, towards Hong Kong. This can even be traced to the example of the Kucoin exchange, which was originally planned to open in China, but was moved to Hong Kong due to bans. However, it's too early to say that Hong Kong was the new center of the crypto-international world. Japan aspires to such a title without groundlessness. There now about 40 percent of all transactions in bitcoin are performed, and a very favorable situation is created for the development of the crypto currency.
I agree with you here. You make many valid points. I still remember how the market took off at this point last year due to Japan embracing crypto wholeheartedly, but it looks like the same won't happen this year. The entire Chinese and Korean ban on crypto followed by India recently has seriously hit the crypto market badly, but this does not mean that Hong Kong is the new crypto hub. This further reinforces the fact that Japan is the central crypto hub since majority of the crypto investors are from Japan itself and they have a tight grip on the market itself.

End of road for Cryptocurrencies in INDIA?
India Bans Cryptocurrencies with Immediate Effect

Wow. This is seriously getting out of hand. Look at all these newbies spreading FUD without thinking clearly. Such people need to educate themselves before posting opening such silly threads. End of the road for crypto in India? Really? Bitcoin has proven time and time again that it cannot be manipulated by any government in this world, but there will always be haters no matter what. The Indian government are clearly trying to discourage investors from investing into the crypto market, but these bans and regulations will only lead the investors to discover alternate means of dealing with crypto(Hint: There are many).
9429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dump the altcoins? on: April 05, 2018, 01:58:02 PM
I don't think the cryptos are going down. They are just "regulating themselves" after the big boom at final 2017. I guess the prices will be stable soon and, some months later (can't say for sure), some of them will go boom again.

Remember: even with the lows, bitcoin is still a lot bigger than last year.
You make some great points and I agree with you here. Many people tend to forget that Bitcoin is far more valuable at present compared to its value last year. The sudden fall in value has shocked many investors which is why they are making careless statements without thinking properly. Coming to the question by op, it is obvious that there is absolutely no point in selling any of your coins or tokens at the moment due to the current bear market and it is better to HODL for greater profits in the future unless you need the money desperately which is still not advisable. Think hard before making such a call.
9430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy the Dip - again... on: April 05, 2018, 08:27:57 AM
Buying the dip is generally good advice, but with the current state of the market nobody knows where the bottom actually is. So far i have seen BTC $6,000 and ETH $350 for this year, if it get's much lower than this then you are stuck holding what you have and waiting for a recovery or selling out for losses.
Majority of the investors including me are HODLING our bitcoins since we believe that Bitcoin will go back to $20k in the near future and might zip past that touching a new all time high soon. Doubt anyone would want to sell their bitcoins for a loss and would focus on HODLING their coins until the market recovers. Bitcoin has survived far worse situations than the current bear market in the past and has come out on top always. What makes you think that Bitcoin won't survive this ordeal? Even if Bitcoin drops lower than $6k, we do realize that it will skyrocket in the future.
9431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC at end of bounty campaign on: April 05, 2018, 06:22:05 AM
Why are you afraiding to give your KYC if you are a genuine worker. Evey company has the right to know about it's worker/contributor.
What are you going on about? Don't you realize that the primary reason why the crypto market is popular is due to its anonymity where banks etc cannot intervene. This is the main reason why Bitcoin became famous in the first place. No one is supposed to submit KYC to any specific company in the crypto world and this whole KYC drama is simply shunning away potential investors. Personally, I never submit KYC for any specific campaign unless its very important(Rare case). Asking users to submit KYC after the entire campaign is over without any prior information is completely unfair and such campaigns need to be avoided.
9432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How i can Protect my MyEther wallet from hakers...? on: April 05, 2018, 06:13:10 AM
I loose my Eth from my MyEther wallet anybody know how to protect it from hackers.
The amount of money or ETH you lost by using MyEther wallet may have been enough for you to buy hardware wallet. If we are talking about money, you have to take security seriously. Invest on hardware wallet. Just like storing money in your house, you buy a vault if the money is huge enough to be a target for robbers same with Cryptos, if its big enough for hackers, invest in hardware wallets.
You spoke my mind. Investing in a hardware wallet is the best answer to the question posted by op in my opinion. Hardware wallets like Trezor are highly recommended in this case since I have been using one for a long time and have never faced any sort of problems with it whatsoever. Other options like paper wallets and online wallets like Myetherwallet are also recommended in this case, but are obviously less secure than a hardware wallet which is why I feel that purchasing a hardware wallet is best for securing large amounts of money. If you need to secure a small amount of money, any of the options that I suggested will work.
9433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto faster & cheaper? on: April 04, 2018, 03:47:44 PM
Bitcoin fees are higher than any other coin. This is due to a lack of scalability and thus high mining fees, which also effects transaction speeds. Ethereum and LiteCoin have much lower fees and send much faster. XRP is cheaper and faster than that. IOTA is free but their wallet is not quite up to par yet. This market is still very young and growing. Eventually these issues will be worked out. But the great thing about competition is that you can choose which method you want to use. And if you’d rather stay in the fiat world you’re free to do that as well.

Cryptocurrency is a good online currency and actually it helped me a lot on my finances. But let us be reminded that not all areas in the world and not all people have access to the internet. I am in love with cryptocurrency especially with bitcoins but at the end of the day I have no choice but to convert it to fiat money so I can buy food for my family and pay my bills and etc. If I will go to the rural area there is no internet connection in that place and people have no computer or smartphones then it is very crucial to say that we need also fiat currency.
Good point. I understand that people living in developing countries would most likely tend to convert their crypto into fiat currencies for survival purposes and no one should judge them in this case since everyone are free to do whatever they wish to do with their coins since it is their hard earned money in the first place. Some people ignore this point and tend to blame different people for driving down the value of Bitcoin or any other coins for that matter which is stupid and uncalled for. Just remember to secure your assets and don't blame others for your losses.
9434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ETH 460$ on yesterday? on: April 04, 2018, 08:43:22 AM
What disaster is happening to ETH?  Huh Huh Huh
Bought the majority of my holdings at 42, exited my initial investment at 285....for better or for worse haven’t sold a single ETH since. IDGAF how long it takes, 1400 was NOT the end of the line, and I’ll be here until 2020 minimum, with all of my ETH, regardless of how shitty it gets in the short term. Bears are a mind fuck and practically designed to get you to panic....but they don’t last forever. I think we will, relatively easily, 3X our ATH. Don’t know how long it will take, but we’ll get there eventually. Play the long game people. Ethereum is literally a game changer on a global scale.
I agree with you. So many people are losing their minds due to the current bear market and the primary reason is that they have entered the crypto market recently and this is new to them, but we experienced users understand that this is a common trend in the crypto world. Everything cannot stay in the green all the time and vica versa too. I have around 3 ETH in my wallet at the moment which I will continue HODL despite the drastic fall in its value since I believe in Ethereum and I know that it is severely undervalued at the moment and that it might reach $2000 by the end of this year.
9435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter banned advertising crypto currency on: April 04, 2018, 05:41:10 AM
Makes complete sense why they decided to do this. I feel that the bans by other social media websites like Facebook etc motivated them to take this step. Such bans will obviously affect the price in a small way. This is actually a good thing since the scammers and cheaters won't be able to advertise their coins in an easy manner anymore which would most likely demotivate them. This would help us differentiate between the legit and scam coins much more easily which is why I feel that this is a great step from their side. If you think about it, this move is helping the market in the long run.
9436  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is back to 7k$ , bitcoin is rising again! on: April 03, 2018, 11:55:28 AM
If we look at the chart bitcoin have started to rise up again. It fell into the dip at 6200$ and now it has climb up again to 7k$. Despite the news of closing of exchanges on Japan and India the community are having smiles on their face when they see bitcoin climbing up again. Possibly this is due to the good news being circulated around about the new development in bitcoin. All spirits are alive maybe this is the sign we are looking for.

Is this the sign we are looking for or this is just temporary?

What developments do you mean. Lightning network?

Lightning network is included but there are a lot more bitcoin developments that are occuring nowadays. If you are eager to do some readings and research then you can finally decipher what those development to bitcoin I am referring to. Anyway here are the list of developments that I am referring to:

1.Bitcoin Core 0.16.0 Is Released
2.Chinese E-Commerce Giant JD.com Launches Blockchain Accelerator
3.the Blockchain Defensive Patent League (BDPL)

https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/week-review-march-3-2018-bitcoin-developments-and-cryptocurrency-adoption/
Very useful information. Thanks for pointing this out. I knew about the lightning network integration which will surely help Bitcoin catapult in value soon, but the updates that you mentioned will surely help Bitcoin in a positive way. Where did you hear about exchanges getting closed in India and Japan? Was not able to find any information pertaining to this news. I think that the market has finally started to recover and the value of Bitcoin and most other altcoins will rise upwards in a slow and steady manner and am expecting an even bigger rally in the near future. Lets see if I am right.
9437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will it grow ETH ? on: April 03, 2018, 08:56:57 AM
Absolutely. No reason why it cannot. The current bear market has cast many doubts on the future of Ethereum and many have lost their faith in it due to its unprecedented drop in value, but I am not one of them. I strongly believe that Ethereum is still in its infancy currently and that it has a long way to go. Once the market begins rallying again(Small rally happening currently), it will climb slowly back upwards towards the $1000 mark again and it might touch $2000 by the end of this year. The reason I am so confident that this will happen is due to the dedicated development team and huge community support.
9438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe I give up earning money from ICO on: April 03, 2018, 05:50:12 AM
What happens to you? Can you tell me more? I can give you some solutions?
I invest in an ICO introduced in my country. So I pour my money in this. The leader of this team run away

Firstly, don't follow others, you should research carefully about the project and invest your own will. Secondly, ICOs is very risk. If you was scammed, it would be normal. You should remember it and try not to make mistake again. And finally, just because you are scammed doesn't mean all of ICO are scam. Don't give up and good luck.  Grin
I agree with you here. So many people simply conclude that all the ICOS are nothing but scams without doing proper research themselves which shows they are in the wrong in this aspect. It is obvious that majority of the ICOS are cash grabs meant to steal your hard earned money while the minority of them are legit. Research and luck play a key factor in determining whether an ICO is legit or scammy in this case. I advise everyone to research the whitepaper extensively since this is one of the best ways to conclude whether an ICO is legit or not. Hang in there op.
9439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My $36,000 Invesment Turned Out Now $12,000 - Still Holding on: April 02, 2018, 11:19:36 AM
That is some hardcore HODLING right there folks. Op is an example of the ideal crypto investor. I see so many people whining like babies due to the ongoing bear market which surprises me since they were aware of the risks and decided to invest and blame the crypto market now without owning responsibility for their actions. The negative news seems to be pouring in from all directions which is making people panic and sell their coins at low values which is something they will regret most likely since the prices won't stay the same and will most likely rise in the near future.
9440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NOW you will buy BTG or NEO ??? on: April 02, 2018, 05:26:01 AM
What a strange comparison. NEO is a platform with smart contracts, dApps and ICOs. Bitcoin Gold is ... just a fork of Bitcoin with a big premine and a different (but not new) proof of work algorithm, Equihash. NEO has been heavily criticized recently though. You might want neither.
This is true and I agree with you here. Bitcoin Gold is simply another useless fork which most likely created to help the developers earn quick profits by cashing in on the Bitcoin phenomenon. Honestly, I am not a big fan of forks and I don't really trust any of them. On the other hand, NEO has huge potential which became widely popular as the Chinese version of Ethereum. I know that there have not been many developments for this coin in recent times, but I advise everyone not to abandon this coin due to the awesome community support. Am expecting it to take off again when the market rallies soon.
