9421  Economy / Gambling / Re: YABCL.com won't let you withdraw the faucet win even when you follow the rules on: October 30, 2017, 08:46:53 AM
You can't cash out with the faucet funds even if you try to withdraw .002 and you have .00204 in your balance (to keep the free funds from the faucet in your account).

I have screenshots of what it says but I haven't edited my info out yet to post them. Don't waste your time.
Probably because you need 0.01BTC to withdraw if you play only from faucet  Wink

I have deposited way back like 4 years ago.  I appreciate the info.  I'm not trying to be snarky or anything but could you point me towards a link that says the minimum is .01 to withdraw the faucet winnings?   I have no problem following the rules if I can actually find them.  Thanks!

Many casinos in the last few months had to take drastic actions against faucets abusers.

In some countries, starting with a free faucet of like 500 Sats and bringing it up to 10000-20000 Sats is pretty much a work-day. Hence this became very popular method of generating income in developing nations.

These type of people were called faucet abusers and action had to be taken.

So most casinos generally don't let you withdraw if you never made a deposit and all your winnings were from the faucet. Its varies site by site but the general idea is the same.

Not very impressed with your withdrawal... I pay you .0006 BTC in fees for quick transaction, then you pay a total of .0002712 BTC in fees and 12hrs latter I'm still waiting for conformation. This just

sucks guy's your minimum withdrawal fee is .0003 BTC. It looks like your skimming fees .......please explain

Cheers Jon  Angry

Could it be that your transaction is just stuck on the blockchain?

Anyways, if they would be just paying 0.0002712 added to your payment, there must be a problem with their withdrawal system though. Never experienced a stuck withdrawal with them so far. Smiley
I paid 60kBTC in transfer fee only 27.12k was paid to miners I'm out 32.88KBTC and it took over 15hrs to be confirmed on the blockchain......I don't think that is acceptable if you take 60k off me for fees, I expect that

it will be used to pay for my transaction to be confirmed on the blockchain.......not to fund faucet or site maintenance or anything else, it is to pay fees end of story. So if you are not an official from Duckdice take note

of your withdrawal fees. If you are an official from Duckdice ...please explain

Cheers Jon Huh

If you want someone to blame, then blame the Bitcoin Cash miners.

Basically due to their stupid Emergency Difficulty Adjustment, every few days or so they are 2x profitable to mine than BTC.

So instead of 6 blocks per hour, we were getting 3-4 blocks per hour. And it basically exponentially increased mining fees for everybody.

Luckily on Nov 13th they are hard-forking to get rid of that stupid EDA and hopefully this won't happen again.

20 billion bets, I remember celebrating 1 million!

next is 30 billion bets!

So we have to wait a while before next contest Cheesy

I am pretty sure they will be a contest for the 25th billionth bet.

Its very difficult to get a timeline on these "billonth" rolls and such. The bitcoin ecosystem is exponetially increasing that the rolls/per/day is constantley changing.

Physical casinos might not realize this but they are starting to lose "ALOT" of profit probably due to online bitcoin gambling.
9424  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sponsored Competition/Lottery - does that already exist? on: October 30, 2017, 08:37:57 AM
I don't know anything like that right now. Just to make sure I understood it well, you don't pay for the raffle, you just give out your email address, is that it? This way, companies that are sponsoring the raffle will probably use the email given to sent out information about their products.

I think I would be ok in participating in a lottery like that, but are there companies interested in that? People can just create emails for that lottery, and never use them again. If the site had a lot of traffic and companies had their banners there, I would understand why they would consider sponsoring the website, but just to get an email address that will probably be created just for that purpose I don't think so, but maybe I'm wrong.

Also what would prevent people from creating hundreds of email addresses to participate in the lottery?

I don't know if we have anything similiar here either.

Most likely if you sell your info, you will not actually win any prices. Unless its something very small value.

Most likely all those lotteries are rigged, especially if they are free. Basically "friend of a friend" usually ends up winning the jackpots who is related to the lottery owner.

I know they do something similiar maybe in Mexico or other tourist destinations with time-shares. You go to a seminar, and they put you in some "magic lottery". You rarely win anything and the point was to get you to buy the timeshare.
9425  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Crypto Gambling Foundation will be calling out fake "Provably fair" sites on: October 30, 2017, 08:35:10 AM
You are saying that some sites don't have the nonce when calculating the provably fair outcome

[Server Seed Hash] + [Client Seed] + [Nonce]

However if its just the server seed hash and client seed, and if both of those are constant won't the roll be exactly the same everytime.

In this case I assume the server seed hash keeps changing, while client seed stays the same. In that case since the noonce always starts at 1, won't it be exactly the same situation.

Since the casino already knows what the nonce will be and they know their server seed. And they assume "client seed" won't get changed.

Moment you change the client seed (Yourself and not through sites choice) you have made the decision of what all the next outcomes will be. This is due to an added nonce. If you don't have the nonce you are forced to change your client seed every single time.

In that case you are not forced to change your client seed, most likely in that scenario the server seed would change everytime.

Basically its how the site is coded, but it makes no difference whether a nonce is incremented or the server/client seed is changed.

Someone did an analysis of this and tried to find a pattern, and the results were all "almost" equallity likely.
9426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Socket 775 for a mining rig on: October 30, 2017, 12:00:14 AM
Just make sure its PCIe 2.0 at least.

If its PCIe 1.0 then some GPUs might not work.
9427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Setting Rigs for Family Members in Different Locations. What's Your Opinion? on: October 29, 2017, 04:09:38 AM
Sometimes you can't remotely restart a rig. Sometimes a GPU can crash and it can completely freeze up.

Only way is to cut the power and turn it on again.

Then sometimes when you restore power it might freeze on the BIOS boot due to improper shutdown, or Windows start-up repair can start ( you can disable this ), or HD can get corrupted due to improper shutdown and will need to be re-imaged.

Hence that's why Antminers are better for this purpose. Yes they might get obsolete but so will GPUs eventually. Every month there are like a million GPUs produced that are going into mining. And you can resell them to gamers but they are also overpriced at the moment, especially the Nvidia GPUs.

Another issue is you need to inspect your gear from time to time to make sure nothing started to melt. Especially the riser +12V wires. If you use modular PSUs you also need to periodically inspect the connection between the PSU and PCIe cables due to bad contacts. You also need to inspect the extention cables that are plugged into the wall, sometimes they might start to melt due to bad contact.

Another issue is with the heat. Depending where you live, since winter is coming the temp can vary during the night and day. At night you might need to close the windows almost fully so the house doesn't freeze, during the day you might have to open the window up so the room doesn't get too hot.

Regarding your "USED GPUs", keep in mind that we are in a mining boom. Most USED GPUs are overpriced and cost pretty much the exact same as retail. Only time when you can get a good deal on GPUs is at the end of the mining boom, but  then you don't need them.
9428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Setting Rigs for Family Members in Different Locations. What's Your Opinion? on: October 28, 2017, 08:14:43 PM
Since the physical locations are all in different areas for you and you also work. You might as well get an Antminer or some other ASIC.
Those are generally "set it and forget it".

You can try and getting those "Wifi cold power cycle" switches but they don't always work. And GPUs they tend to crash from time to time sometimes freezing the entire system.

Trust me, I've tried something similiar in the past but the headache of the freezes and you having to drive over there wasn't worth it.

if truely if primedice want open ico selling
if true i want buy primedice coin, and hope if true open ico, can open deviden system

That actually would serve as a great purpose. Because we all would want some form of Primedice bank roll investment program. However I highly doubt they need our bankroll. They have been around for years and they earnt many BTC when bitcoin was around $200-$300.

There doesn't seem to be any reason why they would want to release an ICO.

Some crazy action on the high rollers list lately! Take a look!
There are always quite a number of high rollers playing on Primedice, it is one of the most earliest dice site that started in the bitcoin gambling community and the site is still one of the most popular dice site in the market despite many new competitors coming into the gambling market constantly.

These days its actually pretty rare to find a Profit/Loss of over > 1 BTC.

Back in the day the high roller list was full of people betting > 5 BTC, sometimes even higher.

Its really crazy that all you need to do is bet only 0.02 BTC and you end up on the high roller list.

I remember you could of earned 0.02 BTC daily with a few Antminer S5's back in 2015.

I wasn't around at the time, but I remember that promo was listed about a year ago and then it was removed.

Any reason why it was removed?

Was there too many useless posts and spammers? If so wondering why they are re-introducing the pay per post.
9436  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚖️ Crypto Gambling Foundation ⚖️ - Fair Gambling For All on: October 26, 2017, 09:15:54 PM
Stunna I want to ask you something.

Real provably fair system is - client seed + server seed + nonce.
Client seed and server seed should remain the same while nonce change from 1 to n.

If you don't change client seed, nonce is changing from 1 - n and server seed is changing on every bet is that really provably fair system?
House could simple catch client seed, calculate nonce and give you bad outcomes.
And what is the point of nonce if server seed change on every bet?

My second(third?) question - without nonce, if client seed is unchanged, and server seed is changing on every bet, casino could see clients seed and give to player bad seeds.
How one can prove house didn't cheat?

Is that possible?(4th question)

This was discussed many many times in the past with various sites.

Basically its technically possible some gambling site can cheat you ONLY if you NEVER change your bet habit and NEVER change your client seed.

The site can have some pregenerated keys and if they detect you are someone who only martingales AND never changes the win direction, then they can give you some bad keys that will generate 10-20 losses in a row to clean you out.

However I am pretty sure Primedice never does this. And its also risky for the casino because what if you change from being a predictable gambler to a non-predictable gambler.

Someone can basically, martingale with 100 Sats bets for like 10000 Rolls, and then all of a sudden they can switch their bet habits and trick the site.

Are you guys planning on wearing these T-shirts of Primedice in public?

Generally I got some Bitcoin gear like posters and tshirts and such but I usually avoid wearing it in public to avoid being targetted and robbed.

Since Primedice ONLY accepts BTC, you might become a target who "Has loads of BTC".
9438  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 DiceSites.com - List of dice sites w/ statistics, graphs & verifiers on: October 26, 2017, 09:08:40 PM
Nice Job mate! But need some improvements Cheesy

What do you mean need some improvements? I saw that this site is the best listing of dice site and I can find everything about dice here. From the provably fair system until tools to calculate your rolls here. I believe this site is more than enough for everyone to look for dice games. This site is suitable for everyone start from newbie until pro

I agree.

Compared to most of the other "Bitcoin Gambling Site List Directory". This one has at least taken the time to vouch for the sites.

Most of the other sites are just affiliates looking for profit coming from Google organic traffic. They usually don't vet the site at all. Just copy and paste some text from the site and say its "#1 gambling site - click here".

Keep up the good work OP
9439  Economy / Gambling / Re: SafeDICE.com ★ Bitcoin Dice ★ Monero ★ 0.5% Edge ★ Fast Cashout ★ Since 2014 on: October 26, 2017, 09:02:05 PM
What makes this even worse is I had a problem with a deposit glitch earlier this week, Thesource3 said it would be handled within 24h after I gave proof of address and account and such which I did instantly. This was not small money and after verification haven't heard ANYTHING back yet, no mods or admins in chat or replies to mails. Also deposited more earlier today when it was up and literary went down after again.

I really hope this is not some exit scam because there is a considerable amount of money (1+ BTC)  on that site to dice with atm.

These days its totally unacceptable to hold anything near 1BTC on any bitcoin gambling related site.

Most sites don't pay interest on your deposits, so why leave it there in the first place.

Another reason is that most gambling sites also don't give you any bitcoin fork coins like Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold.

Just send 0.10 BTC and when you lose that 0.10 BTC send some money later on. Fees are cheap with custom fees, most cost less than $0.50

Claymore,

I respect you alot and everything. But you really need to start posting some kind of SHA checksum or some GPG to verify your downloads. Every single download of yours comes up as a virus now.

Most bitcoin and crypto related software usually includes some type of checksum so the download can be verifed. Aside from Bitcoin Core this is probably the most widely downloaded crypto related software.

Please start posting the checksum.
