9461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What encourages you to invest in any altcoin? on: December 17, 2017, 04:50:09 PM
first and foremost is of course the profit, and the fact that the same bitcoin can not give such interest as for example 1,000%, and many altcoin can, most importantly promising to invest and see good with Wp
The only way profit can be guaranteed in any coin is if the coin has a product that can back it up to doing fine every time and if it also has some good developers and team doing a great job. If the only thing you are looking at is the profit of a coin and buying based on it climbing up anytime, then you may just not be in for the nice ride as that can lead you to a pumped coin.
9462  Economy / Economics / Re: China banning bitcoin exchages, good or bad? on: December 16, 2017, 07:18:51 AM
Ban on Bitcoin by China was a biggest shock to bitcoin community. Being a communist country China have supported bitcoin community from time to time. China was the biggest trader and bitcoin miner in the world. The revenue generated by chine`s miners were the highest one. Chine`s investors have setup biggest bitcoin mining farms due to cheap electricity & labour cost. This ban has resulted huge losses to these investors. Ban by China also benefited bitcoin a lot, the day this news came bitcoin prices fall sharply by 20%, but later they rolled back and now crossed $17500 mark. Even after this ban bitcoin investors all over the world has shown trust in bitcoin currency.
First off, China did not ban bitcoin and I really wonder where people are getting all these stuffs from. China shut down exchanges until they are regulated and banned ICOs, I repeat, ICOs. News is just all it takes to stay updated. The news that was used by whales only went viral for a while and affected the price a little, but I guess now is enough for everyone to realize that the ban did not really have that much effect after all.

Its not good to ban ICO in china, becuase if ICO baned in china all altcoin will dump. Lately china will announce for banning ICO's. But  now it is ok for china, we dont need to panic now, we all know now all altcoins is stable.
In case you missed the news, ICO was banned in China, so this is not a matter whether it is good or not and that has not affected any altcoin even from there right now. And in case you do not know what ICO is, it is called Initial Coin Offering, which is basically for new projects starting up. However, China is not the only place where ICOs are being done, so that should not even be a worry.
9463  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Volatility on: December 16, 2017, 03:55:57 AM
when we talk about crypto currency expect that the price is volatile. it will change from time to time so you should be actime all the time.
This a basic difference between the crypto world and all other sources of income or currencies like gold and dollar and all that other stuff. Crypto currencies are volatile and this make the difference, they have such high prices due to this volatility. Believe me if the crypto also have stable rate of increase or decrease like gold, there would be no difference in crypto and others.
Even the gold that you have mentioned is a little bit volatile. The only difference here if I should tweak what you have said a little is that the volatility is not as much as in the crypto world being a new market.

A time will come when we will see some little bit of stability as well in the value of bitcoin and some news maybe driving the value up and making investors to want to fall in the more, but for now, it is still fresh, so we should expect that huge volatility. We should also remember that even gold once had a huge level of volatility once during its boom.
9464  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: i lost 20% of my budget on: December 15, 2017, 05:49:37 PM
That normal and always just like that, but if you plan to hold that coin dont panic take easy and just patient to wait the price will be reborn to the normal. But if you now on day trade and you bought on the top much better cut loss right now and buy back in deeper price so the risk will be less.
Yeah, there are some coins that you really do not need to worry about in cases like this, most especially when you are holding them for the long term.

They will always come back better and will never be stagnant for long. I really do not see why any holder should even be worried. Also, except for those who are really trading and they know what they are doing, they would have known the best thing to do in losses situation like this.
9465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Best ALT in 2017? on: December 15, 2017, 05:05:35 PM
Litecoin is topper till now
Not just Litecoin, so many coins are doing well right now, if you are viewing from the profit angle. Nevertheless, for now, a lot of coins have really done well this year and trying to pick a best ALT in 2017 may really not just be that easy. However, if we are just to look at the ALT with a better and general improvement this year, probably we may just have to stick with Ethereum.

The best alt depends on what you are trying to classify as the best. Market cap ? The value increase ? The project itself and the product it has to offer ? All these things could be put together to classify if an Alt is good or not and as far as I am concerned, we may just say Ethereum may fill those gaps right now. Some other coins could have done well in some other areas, but looking at a general view of it, I would go for ETH.
9466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH, LTC, DASH, XRP -why all so high on: December 15, 2017, 03:34:28 PM
I think will hight more in 2018  Smiley
No coin can definitely remain in one position for so long or just get stagnant unless it is not really relevant anymore and investors do not really care about it. In 2018 for sure, so many of the coins will increase in value as long as investors keep kicking in the more.

Lots of people got into the show by buying bitcoins and when they realized there are some other coins that have prospects; they saw it as a good show to try their hands on those ones too. The market though is in a state where everyone is looking for profit right now.
9467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worst coins ever. on: December 15, 2017, 02:28:08 PM
Yea, the government might be able to trace who owns what coins... but how can we... how can we as regular people avoid buying some centralized piece of crap coin, with absolute certainty.
I think no coin worst. Increase and decrease are normally situation. We just wait for many time until the coin rising again. Be patient please Smiley
Some coins are worst and you would not want to be holding a shit coin and the only way you can know if a coin is shitty, centralized, scammy in nature, is just to do some proper digging. No other single way !

Any investor or anyone who wants to buy a coin and cannot go through doing some thorough research is then definitely not ready to invest. When you do this, then at least you will be able to deduce some facts you may need, while putting few stuffs together.

But there is no centralized coin that won't be glaringly centralized. We just have to research about the coin and find out for ourselves. For example, XRP is a centralized banker's coin but do you know that? You cannot know unless you have decided to read some few things about XRP or probably from little readings here and there bump into it. That is just the only way you can know.
9468  Economy / Speculation / Re: Korea bans Bitcoin derivatives~ OUCH! on: December 15, 2017, 11:30:58 AM
I am not sure how much of a serious damage if any this does to Bitcoin's growth in terms of market capital.

https://www.coindesk.com/report-bitcoin-derivatives-banned-south-korean-government/
Holy moly!! Is this for real? Korea plays an important role in the crypto -investments Undecided
China started this,it was followed by Russia and now South Korea...Why? Just why. I knew something bad will happen due to this CME and CBOE group's bitcoin listings. Screw you CME! Is this going to be an indicator for the prices to crash anytime soon?
What is so important about the role they play in the crypto investment ?
This is not the first time a country is going to come out to state their ban on crypto investments and derivatives, but that would not stop the fact that the community believes in it and they are ready to go through with it no matter what.

They can keep banning, and the crypto enthusiasts who are citizens will keep finding a way.
9469  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Stabilizing At $20K on: December 15, 2017, 10:07:23 AM
In near future we will see bitcoin price of 20k $, that is inevitable or at least that is what i think. Because every day number of bitcoin supporters and investors is rising. But I think that it is not possible for price to be limited on 20000$. One of main reasons for that, is that bitcoin price will always rise because of bitcoins limited number and difficulty of mining. The moment when we could expect steady price, is when people start using bitcoin as currency and not as investment.
Absolutely impossible. The fact is that no one knows the peak of bitcoin, but can we really say if it has a peak or not? So far so good, investors and the wall street guys have really shown some pretty huge influence on the market, and that definitely calls for the value increasing further and your last statement really says it all, but even when that time comes, demand will increase the more.

I think Bitcoin price will be $20.000 end of 2017.
I am very optimistic it may be more than that, otherwise we should expect some bear thugs kicking in. This is a period we have all been waiting for, and now that we are in with the futures, even though theirs is a totally different market, but it would still have some major impact in the crypto world in the long run. I am sure things would change a lot but we just cannot do much than to keep watching.
9470  Economy / Speculation / Re: Calling top at $16500 on: December 15, 2017, 08:13:57 AM
Correction is over. Now to 20k and beyond.
I too have the thinking that price correction has got over. Now it's heading towards the next targeted price of $20k,and now the price has crossed the $16500 mark. By the start or at least by the first quarter I believe bitcoin will go above $20000 to make the price reach as speculated by most people.

Still not over I guess. We have CME also coming up so who knows. I just don't like these Wall Street manipulators. I am confident though that Bitcoin reaches $20,000 this month.
We totally share the same thought. There is really not much they can do, as they are gambling in fiats anyway. All the above, looking at the fact that they may want to use their funds to manipulate the market is quite possible.

These guys really do not have anything to lose and all they are using are stolen money anyway as far as I am concerned but we would really want to see how they want to achieve all that. In reality we cannot expect those manipulators to stop around $16,500 levels as human's greed has no limits.
9471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can I mine with my PC Specs? on: December 15, 2017, 06:21:57 AM
Can I mine with my PC Specs?

Processor: AMD A10-7700K Radeon R7,10 Computer Cores 4C+6g 3.40 GHz
Installed Memory (RAM): 8.0GB (6.94 GB Usable)
System Type: 64-bit Operating System

Thanks in advance!
Unless you are doing it for fun and to keep some alts that may have prospect in future then I will say it is not going to be worth it. There are still some coins you can easily mine with CPU and then you can look forward to them increasing in value in the future.

That should be your main target cause you won't get so much from it for a start but as time goes on, the coins with good prospects, will get their value shoot up and then you can see yourself swimming in wealth when that time comes and with your specs, I would say ride on. You can just join a mining pool by finding the one with a good review.
9472  Economy / Economics / Re: What's your vision of cryptocurrencies ? on: December 14, 2017, 07:34:02 PM
Well 40 years is a long investment and it's probably safe to say that if you invest now the two most likely options are either you have nothing or you're completely rich. I would advise against your strategy of only investing in bitcoin however. For such a long term period diversification is key. I feel that cryptocurrencies as a whole have a far better outlook over the next 40 years than bitcoin alone.
That is just the plain truth and no one will tell the OP whether to invest or not as that is mainly his decision to make in the long run. Bitcoin is volatile, so far things may be looking good, but no one knows the future. We can decide to see anything we want to see right now, but that would not change a thing that would end up happening if it is bound to happen. If the OP is not ready to take risks, then he should better just stay away in that case.

So far, bitcoin has remained a better store of value over the years and whether that would keep on like that, only the future will tell. It is paining some economists and the banking dudes though, but that is what really makes it interesting. The future is bright for bitcoin and my vision is that it is going to be highly usable as a currency which would even make its future in the long run more ascertained.
9473  Economy / Economics / Re: what are the effects of bitcoin on the world economy? on: December 14, 2017, 06:36:06 PM
since the bitcoin I see the purchasing power of the community increases, more and more new rich people who appear due to bitcoin, well what I ask is whether its influence on the economy since adany bitcoin until now whose price reaches 1600 $

let's share
We cannot see the global effect of bitcoin in the first 5 years but I am sure that time will come, bitcoin will change the world. Bitcoin changes our life, status and economy. Bitcoin might reform the current problems in every country specially starvation and poverty. We can see the bright of tomorrow.
In fact, 5 years is a whole lot. However, if we see a high demand for the usage of bitcoin and then we see a lot of people coming into the crypto world entirely, then it would be a moment that would create some huge rise for bitcoin and possibly may affect the fiat system. Before we end up seeing something like that though, it might take a while.

I hope it does as that totally depends on the adoption rate of each country. Even if we say it can help the poorer countries, we need not forget that they are already limited to resources and most of them may not even be in the show now considering they would not be able to get the information needed to be a part of this.

Nevertheless, looking at how a lot of things will change, regarding spending, transactions without limits and boundaries, it should have some positive effect.
9474  Economy / Economics / Re: popularity of bitcoin dictates demand, means more profit on: December 14, 2017, 04:39:42 PM
Not all the times the popularity dictates the demand because somehow, even though bitcoin is famous and have a lot of popularity, its price is still going down because of the emotion of the people who have bitcoin and i think it is more appropriate to say that emotion dictates the demand and as well as the price of bitcoin that will affect the profit.
All is fine so far, I really do not see any going down much. Corrections are normal and you are welcome to the trading world. Also, bitcoin is still in its early stage, so we should expect more of this in the long run.

I would not want to bother myself much about the falling and rising prices except for the future which I am pretty sure, we have not seen a high level of demand yet. Once bitcoin hits that stage where a lot of people can start making use of it easily, then that is when we should start expecting a huge demand.
9475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do we need to gamble? on: December 14, 2017, 02:27:02 PM
I gamble just for fun and I set aside a small amount every week to gamble with. Of course I always hope to get lucky and win a huge amount one day, but I don't expect it. Most people will eventually realize that games like dice are almost guaranteed result in losses unless you get lucky and quit while you are ahead. Still I enjoy it and even if I lose, I still have fun playing. then it could still be a source of entertainment.
That should really be the main reason for gambling anyway. I am not the type that usually considers losing money fun anyway which is why I stopped gambling. However, when I was gambling, I have asked myself that question so many times without really having an answer.

Most times I end up losing, and even though I already set my mind to that, but the truth is that it still sucks and then I still see myself coming back. Except for online casinos, offline casinos can be fun anyway if you go with your friends but not without knowing your limits.
9476  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you trade your crypto currency? on: December 14, 2017, 10:27:56 AM
So far I started with Hitbtc and really like that platform to use for trading and I just read up on Coin News and spend a lot of time studying the charts. Most of my profits come from small pumps instead of buying low and holding for awhile.
You should really be careful with all those small pumps bro ! As sweet as they can be for profit, they can be deadly. Yes, if you can time it well, you can really be hitting some great profit in the long run, but one bad thing is that you can end up losing your funds as well.

It is a huge risk for a high profit but I would rather trade the normal way than ever try something like that. Even if you want to trade any coin today, you have to be smart about it, whether it is a shit coin or not.

You will know a shitcoin anyway by the volume of the trade but one thing is never to hold it for long and never to trade them without a stop loss. Altcoins all have a chance of easily experience huge dumping when BTC is having some swell time, so it is always advisable to be safer than sorry.
9477  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading vs holding on: December 14, 2017, 08:32:28 AM
There are many people who have been hooding bitcoin from a long time and now they are like millionaires when would sell them. And many are those who trade it on daily basis. What is your need? This will explain you what you have to do. Don’t hold any altcoin as they don’t have better repute in holding but yes bitcoin is more than amazing.
Yes, coins differ and considering that bitcoin is well established and looking at the fact that there is still a lot of prospect for it in the future, you can as well just hold and go ahead with your other daily activities that would keep bringing you money.

After all, the essence of trading is to earn a living as it requires a lot of effort and it is some huge level of work in itself. In that case, for someone who is learned about trading, and probably that is their main job, then good, otherwise, just buy and hold. I would say at first I started seeing trading as a waste of time when I really had no strategy.

I was busy doing the lows and highs kind of trading and honestly it was so crazy that sometimes, I even started getting sick. However, with some learning and some strategies, things really changed and then I started trading without much issue. I do not need to sit on the chart all day. I already know where to enter a trade and what to expect and my alarms are there to do the work for me. After all these, holding is the best option for anyone.
9478  Economy / Speculation / Re: what will happen with the BTC, if the dollar falls on: December 14, 2017, 04:45:06 AM
There are specialists who say that the YUAN is going to replace the dollar, what would happen with the cryptography if that happens?
Well I think if the value of dollars fall down,
Then the value of BTC will also crash down.
Since bitcoin is just for online transaction only and has no physical appearance,
Means its still depend on dollars.
And the dollars are the universal money currency so far.
So it has a big effect in the value of bitcoin the rate of the dollars.
Everything you have said does not even fall into play and I am sure you really do not even understand what makes bitcoin tick. Firstly, the value of USD does not have any single thing to do with USD. Bitcoin is decentralized and the only set of people controlling bitcoin's value is you and I, except for some few whales which even now things are not really the way it used to be for them.

Crypto world is a totally different world and the craziest that could even happen is people dropping their USD for BTC, what do you think that would cause? A huge increase in the price of BTC.
9479  Economy / Marketplace / Re: 1 Year in Cryptocurrency still no luck earning bitcoin. Need some real advice. on: December 12, 2017, 06:25:28 PM
It is really very difficult for me to understand that how can this be possible that someone cannot get anything and that too even after spending a year in this bitcoin. In my opinion, you actually do need to gain some knowledge related to bitcoin as knowledge is the only thing which can help you in making wise decision for effective earning. Moreover, you need to take guidance from some experts by telling them you story to have a better suggestion.
Difficult to understand indeed. Unless the OP was just some unserious person who does not care about life, or he just simply decided to stick a blind eye to the fact that there are so many opportunities to make money from in the crypto world entirely. As long as you have the skills to deliver, crypto has been extremely helpful in every way.

Do some bounties for Airdrops than after ICO sell and convert to BTC, some are quite easy to do.
That is a good suggestion. Within the few period that I started on this forum, I have earned so much from bounty in the long run than I can imagine if I have actually earned the same in BTC that much. You do not even have to sell, you can be picky with projects just like an investor and as long as you pick the right projects, you just cannot miss it.
9480  Economy / Speculation / Re: will we see bitcoin price 20k by jaunary 1st 2018 on: December 12, 2017, 05:10:08 PM
will we see bitcoin price continue going up or will it crash?
If the current support continues to exist and not vanish away, then the price will go up easily to or more than 20,000$. Bastards do not care on how much they are willing to spend, no control whatsoever. What I think now when it comes to unstable, bitcoin comes to my now, relationships are way stable than that which is a wonder.
Yeah we will because bitcoin has too much support nowadays and every region’s response is positive toward bitcoin and this thing shows that bitcoin will continue to rise in future and 20k till the end of 2017 is bit low value currently bitcoin is in between 15-16k and this thing is clear sign that price will go above the 20k and maybe this year end up with the price of 25k and the community will celebrate happy new year with profit.
Support is huge, adoption is growing in number every single day as new investors keep stepping in and then we are about kicking the butts of those gamblers who think they can manipulate the market. I am so eager to see the turn of events even with the CME entrance.

A lot of speculation has gone around even though they are trading on a whole new level, but the fact that the market can be manipulated by these dudes; seem to me like one should be ready for anything. However, I still so much believe that a lot of improvements are coming for bitcoin which would surprise a whole lot of us.
