9481  Other / Meta / Re: New way of account selling and buying on: September 30, 2018, 02:46:29 PM
No action was taken against these people before the merit system "although it is easy to create a lot of high-level accounts" so do not expect anything happens now.

@theymos I think we should reconsider the rules regarding account selling and buying.
He can deactivate signatures to resolve this issue.

AFAIK that's where all the black market deals are going on like merit trading, account selling, etc...
All of these deals are dangerous, especially since accounts that exchange merits or selling account can be tracked easily.

VIP section
We have Important Announcements, where admins/Global Moderator/VIP can post in that section.

Local Boards - Add more local boards and should be in one section to display all the possible local boards to be included.
There are a lot of local boards, and I do not think we need more.

Donations and another group of foundations section - We should open also to help other people like in those who are being affected with natural disasters. Foundations could help with this by opening up a section for them. We should consider inviting legit foundations that will truly help people.
I like the idea, but there are a lot of those campaigns being held in the Collectibles/Games and rounds section.

If there are a lot of health discussions, creating boards will not be difficult.

9484  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Many people do not know about virtual currency and do not believe in it! on: September 26, 2018, 02:54:49 PM
Governments are adept at persuading others, they have already succeeded in breaking up gold and paper money "now no one mentions gold" and will succeed in changing the negative image of digital currencies if they want.

I do not expect to organize all the cryptocurrencies soon so do not expect people to accept them, especially as it is a new technology and has a bad reputation.
In the future things will change.
9485  Other / Meta / Re: Can merits be awarded in threads that aren't for public view? on: September 26, 2018, 06:40:11 AM
Just as it happens when you ignore a board.
Ignore a board where you earn some merits and check your merit page. Will see "deleted/ignored/off-limits"
9486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost bitcoin - working out what wallet and seed keys these are on: September 26, 2018, 05:41:03 AM
Isn't that blockchain.com wallet ID? I have a wallet on there, and it's pretty similar to OP's listed. The format is the same too 8-4-4-4-12(random word an number).
If this right, how op can get this list?
You may be right, especially since this format is closer to Blockchain.info web wallet ID than windows GUIDS.
Wallet ID is something like your username; anyone can know your username without an ability to accesses to your coins.
I do not know how @OP got it, but it is easy  (someone hack/access email associated to that wallet).
9487  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Strategy to avoid total losses: be careful on: September 26, 2018, 04:58:25 AM
There are some tips on learning some technical and marketing expertise so you can avoid risks and protect your capital:

 - Do not save your money on trading platforms. "Not your keys, not your coins"
 - Do not let your emotions control your decisions.

Overall, good tips. may end up losing money even with these tips so I do not recommend cryptocurrencies as an investment.
9488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Rare coin market on: September 25, 2018, 10:30:27 PM
Is there a way to predict future pumps though? Or is it just pure luck?
There is nothing called "pure luck," but you must be convinced that the market can not be predicted 100%.
The general rule is that the market is affected by supply and demand, which means that anything that changes supply and demand will affect the price.
The news is a way to control the emotions of others and therefore their decisions and then supply and demand.
So tracking news may give you correct predictions.
As well as your experiences.
9489  Other / Meta / Re: What is the reason why one can't delete his/her own thread? on: September 25, 2018, 09:55:10 PM
You can delete topics/threads that no one has seen, but once viewed, you can’t remove it.
I think @mdayonliner gave you reasons to put those restrictions.
You can lock that topic and move it to Archival.

It is not necessary to delete all posts to start over, learning past mistakes and not repeating it is the solution.
9490  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: ❗ CryptoTxAlert.com ❗ - a transaction alert service for crypto users on: September 25, 2018, 09:32:04 PM
@hugeblack your explanation for removing the call to action button is not clear.  Can you please clarify?
Redesign this ---> https://www.cryptotxalert.com/: The design of your site is attractive, but I usually avoid websites that offer free offers and ask for payment after several days, so there is no need to mention it first. In other words, delete the word "Start Your 14 Day Free Trial Now!" from the introduction. "add something like Try It Now!."

I wish you success. Cheesy
9491  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wallet for newbies or small bitcoiners on: September 25, 2018, 08:59:33 PM
Since  I heard about green addresses, maybe these are the same type of wallet starting with the prefix 3

In my knowledge segwit address and green address are same, but there is an only difference of prefix that starts with "bc1" and "3" respectively.

I guess he meant GreenAddress [Bitcoin Wallet] not Green address.
GreenAddress is a wallet like any other wallets and is not a type of Bitcoin addresses.
This wallet supports segwit addresses that enable you to send using lower fees.
The type of segwit address that supports called "P2SH type" [starting with the number 3]. In addition to many features that make it the best as a wallet for Android and desktop.
9492  Local / العربية (Arabic) / Re: حجم قاعدة البيانات مشكلة ؟ on: September 25, 2018, 08:22:07 PM

./bitcoind --prune=550

9493  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: ❗ CryptoTxAlert.com ❗ - a transaction alert service for crypto users on: September 25, 2018, 07:46:27 PM
Good work, attractive website design, and smooth interface but need some additions such as:

 - Remove "Start Your 14 Day Free Trial Now!": Let the user recognize the characteristics after that alarm for paying or discount.
 - More settings: such as receiving alerts when a certain number of confirmations received, when a certain amount arrives, upon the arrival of a certain number of transactions/day.

I will try it later.
9494  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-09-24] IranbyBit: Bitcoin-Powered Tourism Fueling Iranian Economy on: September 25, 2018, 06:36:38 PM
Who will go to Iran for tourism? I mean, if I want to choose a tourist destination, Iran will not be my destination.
In addition to harassment by the government, there is infrastructure which I do not think is suitable for tourism.

There are many foreigners who want to travel to Iran, but I do not think they are visiting that country for tourism. So such news will increase the negative connection between the Bitcoin and dark activities.
9495  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-09-24]The Amount of Bitcoin in Active Wallets Is Near Record Highs on: September 25, 2018, 06:05:58 PM
Although I am skeptical about the truth of this numbers, it may be logical:

- Hacking platforms: Investors are now more aware of keeping their coins on those platforms.
- Rising prices: The rise in the active activity of many currencies.
- Low fees: transactions fees can be ignored as the times of confirmation are relatively short.

All these factors make many interested in keeping their cryptos at personal wallets and switching to those platforms when needed.
9496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: YOU CANNOT EAT YOUR CAKE AND HAVE IT. on: September 25, 2018, 05:32:42 PM
Trust me, if you get scared today and sell your bitcoins, and the market gets better tomorrow, what happens?

What happens if the price continues to collapse, let's say you sold at $ 19500, it would be a successful strategy.
What would happen if you were greedy and did not sell at 19500, would sell at a lower price until 6400.

In short, do not let your emotions control your decision. Prepare a clear plan in the event of a rise or collapse of the price, follow the news and analyze it logically, or use trading bots.

You cannot eat your cake and have it back.

9497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Ask "Time To Buy" "HOLD or SELL" "Right time to entry" on: September 25, 2018, 04:48:24 PM
It's good to see people like you, especially since all the analyzes for people whose speak your language "based on your name" is negative, panic is also characteristic.

I prefer to talk about Bitcoin as a currency and stop looking at its value against the dollar, it's not an investment, and it's not the only way to become rich so don't chase dreams.

Time to use it and make global trading free.
9498  Economy / Economics / Re: Proper Regulations Will Boost Confidence in Cryptocurrency Sector: Abu Dhabi Reg on: September 25, 2018, 03:56:46 PM
It should not take for granted. Most countries in the Gulf region will not make financial decisions until they have a green light from the United States.
I agree with the need to regulate, but the regulations aim to protect individuals and not impose fees.

Also, most of what reported in this news story is a repeat of the news, as the date of the press in mid-June
9499  Economy / Economics / Re: My question about bitcoins economical shift on: September 25, 2018, 08:31:24 AM
We should not talk about that extreme scenario, but is the currency" USD, Bitcoin, gold" undervalued or overvalued?
There is a theory called purchasing power parity "PPP," which states that in two different areas, the cost of goods and services is the same. For example, the cost of buying a coffee is $ 5 and in a second country € 3 means that $ 5 is worth € 3 and so on.

Currency is a measure of its value and willingness to pay for it.
In the case of Bitcoin, the value in itself is zero either the willingness to pay is expressed by supply and demand.
9500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It Takes 9343$ to mine one bitcoin, so no way i am selling it below 12000$ on: September 25, 2018, 07:50:36 AM
If we deal with such a logic, it means that the price will be correlated with the increasing difficulty of mining, which means that the rate will increase continuously.
Some areas, such as Iceland, have cheap electricity, low temperatures and government regulations that cost mining less than $ 9,000.
Do not forget that the price is linked to supply and demand and that the quantity offered does not depend on mining only.
