Suppose Gox resumes withdrawals but enforces a 10 btc per day limit. Bullish or bearish?

bullish for gox's price thats for sure.

Stamps will dip a bit, but this will signal the end of GOX FUD and the end of cheap coins, so we'll probably end up above 1800 in a few business day

How the hell does Gox have a floor like that with no bid wall??

there is a wall
9483  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 19, 2014, 09:30:42 PM
20% of bitcoiners reported that the FUD was getting to them!

new poll
9484  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 19, 2014, 08:57:35 PM
not sure i get why the market is acting the way it is.
it should place walls on the low, waiting for gox  to allow withdrawals and catch the coins being arb.
instead the walls are moving to the front line b4 the party has even started...

but why!?

cheap gox coin are sure to be liquidated on stamps soon...
9485  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 19, 2014, 08:51:21 PM
omg the wall!

the end is near

buy all the bitcoins.

Just wanted to report I received 150EUR from Gox on the 17/02/2014, withdraw initiated on the 06/02/2014. Was not expecting that. Maybe hope is not lost?

you may have depleted their reserves
9488  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 19, 2014, 07:31:54 PM
you'd think there would be SOME rise in price on gox in anticipation of the btc withdrawals coming back online soon.

seems everyone has lost all hope for gox
9489  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 19, 2014, 05:42:22 PM

Google trends update

I've included the regional interest map because it seems like the folks in the Bahamas are taking an interest in either investing or seeing how their money is doing.

omg BUY!!!!!!!
9491  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 19, 2014, 01:40:11 AM
Hey how do we know that GOX price is the real price of Bitcoin and the other exchanges are actually the ones that are fucked up?
9492  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time travelers are still speculators. on: February 19, 2014, 01:02:47 AM
lol time travelers...

i've been where you are now not to long ago. i ended up in the hospital.... you maybe be under more stress then you realize, "time travelers are still speculators ".  you really NEED to step away from bitcoin speculation for a while, and get some sleep / lots of rest, maybe take a few days off... you're talking crazy talk.

How boring is it on stamp  Undecided

Give us some cheap coins man...

there 580 15K cheap coins right infront of you dude

I know the price is good but what if we really go down to 400 when gox withdraws work again? Then I will bite my ass that I bought at 630...

but what if gox snaps back to 800 then 1000 while stamps goes down marginally only to end up exploding into 4 digits never to go back down again.

9497  Economy / Services / Re: Advertise on thebitcoinreview.com - add your banner! on: February 18, 2014, 11:18:14 PM
I know someone who might be interested, I'll refer this person.

thanks

i think once we get a few advertisers and the banner is rotating more ads this will make the banner more functional, apparent and get more hits. even with 1% chance of being displayed... a user is browsing the site and sees a banner hes never seen b4, making him more likely to click and find out what it is.

today 0.01BTC gets you ~35.5%

the ones in Canada seemingly abide by the required laws as far as I have read.

I just saw that apparently Canadian banks have taken a turn for the worse...

It doesn't sound like its as cut and dry as the article makes it sound. I haven't heard anything from cavirtex yet, and here's another version http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1y9dkq/rumour_bank_of_montreal_closing_bitcoinrelated/

interesting.

cavirtex has all the appropriate licensing i believe

Yes, cavirtex is fine.

I also spoke by email with Eric from Bylls.com in Montreal this morning [this is the bitcoin-to-bill-pay service that allows you to pay your electricity and cable bill with bitcoins!!].  He says they have secured multiple banking relationships, so they are not affected.

omg why wasn't i told about this
