600 wall holding up for now, maybe next bounce will eat it. I can watch these charts for hours when there's action like this

I wonder if the hackers plan to use the coins stolen from sr2.0 to sell into rallies, or sell after large rallies

They actually stole the coins? I thought it was complete BS after a quick glance. I guess it depends if they are bulls or bears  Cheesy

most likely the operator just ran away with the coins. transaction malleability seemed like a good excuse to him i guess.

i wonder if the 80K coin is accurate...

Missed this mornings activities - what's the reason for the drop this morning?

just another wave of panic, the FUD buildup is high.

STILL BULLISSH DEAR DAM ?

is there any good reason not to be?
9545  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 13, 2014, 07:48:11 PM

9546  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 13, 2014, 07:40:23 PM
serious question - is there anything in the news right now that justifies a sell off?

Where's Blitz when you need him...

For the last time, dear newcomers:

Price doesn't simply "follow" the news. News might influence it, but not necessarily the way you'd expect it to influence the price (see, for example, the Silk Road news last year, and the rally (!) that followed).

Well, anyway...

We've been in a down trend for quite a while now, and right now, things are simply picking up speed a bit.

By the way, that doesn't mean you should sell now. Every trend ends at some point.

tl;dr Learn some basic TA, the world will be less confusing.

thanks, yes i understood just wondering if there is anything we may have missed while watching this thread... just tell me when to hit the BUY button, my finger is getting itchy

you really should be hitting the buy button daily at this point, don't expect to be able to catch bottom....
look to buy little bits constantly improving your avg price as we move lower.

in other news high lower is in 612, but will it hold!? who knows!

just another wave of panic, the FUD buildup is high.

also i think poeple are expecting GOX to soon turn on BTC withdrawals, this would mean a lot of poeple got BTC at a bargain price on GOX and would probably be looking to sell for a quick profit on other exchanges, the market sees this coming and is preemptively dumping.

Bitstamp lost 34% of it's bitcoin stash due to malability exploit.
They will default sooner than GOX.

Poor stamp users.

Source ?

mah87 is oblivious short and looking to spread some FUD

The protocol is broken as far as i know, they will release a statement in the next days.  Sad
I´m really startin to worry about Bitcoin. It was overall awesome in the last years, but it seems those days are gone and history.
From here on this is a downards spiral :-(
It was fun anyways as long as it lasted.

GOOD RIDDANCE!

The fix is almost ready guys, why sell ?

manipulators pressing us into selling. and then take the cheap coins.

Btw, there are exchanges (kraken, huobi?), who dont even need a fix. there is no problem in the bitcoin protocol.

they should update the protocol, it is a problem...

Anyone else feeling like it's only a matter of time before the heavy dumping starts today?

don't base your trading on your feelings
I do FEEL the pressure to sell, so i buy.

<-- crazy
9557  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 13, 2014, 05:28:52 PM
Ok serious question. Why do people start to panic sell on Stamp when Gox prices go down?

Where do you see panic selling?

Not on a large scale but obviously people are quickly selling because Gox is going down. I call that panic.
Why would people do that. Is there a reason i didn't think of or just pure stupidity?

price is dropping, not rising, thats pretty clear, so... poeple are scared!
9558  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 13, 2014, 05:19:38 PM

9559  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 13, 2014, 03:06:43 PM
Gox starting a rally, time to buy
Retesting 30 day lows is a rally? I'm so cornfused.

lol!
gox price is the odds to a bet, will mtgox fix the BTC withdrawal or will they implode, i wouldn't be surprised for the GOX/STAMPS to fall to 30-50%....

I have the feeling we'll see another dump on stamp soon which will take us to 600. And there people will completely poop their pants for a few days and finally panic sell to Gox levels.

And you turning bearish on the price , that's one bad sign.

I think we are either at bottom or close to it.

being ~50% lower than ATH, buying now is not all that scary...

CasinoBitco.in (CBTC)  on haveloack just took one hell of a hit
time is now!
buy buy buy
 Grin

Piss off, I'm still waiting to make money on SFI you suggested  Grin

It looks like all Havelock IPO's should be avoided and shares bought in public sale. They all go down after IPO.

I'm not worried about SFI, its looking good. they posted an update on the 11th https://www.havelockinvestments.com/fund.php?symbol=SFI

i get a good feeling about it like the guys behind it are doing a fantastic job, pretty sure its undervalued. I'm HODLING

CBTC SFI HIF, my long term bets

what ever you do NOT buy B.MINE, SELL me your B.MINE  Wink
