9561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: November 12, 2016, 02:25:29 PM
If I was rich I would stay gambling, due to the fact that its easy and also nice to do, I think that gambling is fun and enjoying so why not.
A rich man should enjoy himself right ?

you're right , every person should enjoy in any way that they want to enjoy . if it's your passion then you don't need to hesitate you should live your life the way want and especially if you're already rich and gambling is your passion and you find yourself enjoying every time you are playing but make sure that you are still in control because there could be a possibility for you to get bankrupt .
As long as the person doing it enjoys it then that is fine but the rich must be especially careful because they have so much money that they could end up ruining their life if they become addicted to gambling.

That won't happen easily with rich people, because rich people always gamble without fear as they have good backing which is key for the easy winning. More the fearless more enjoys the events and have fun.
Yeah, because they can afford to lose what they are gambling. Also even if you are not so rich, you can still gamble what you want and you will not be able to feel the fear because you are consistent enough with your goal which is to gamble for fun only.
Well i wouldn't be so confident about that as well as the self control would most likely be less since you know that you have money to burn. Rich people could still end up being broke by gambling irresponsibly
9562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: November 12, 2016, 12:08:10 PM
I usually do some analysis on the gambling website before I gamble. Usually, I check for its reputation and the feedback for the site. If you're talking about sports betting, of course I would do some analysis of what teams are heavily favoured before the matchup.
Yeah that would be a wise thing to do since those are the few instances in gambling that you actually have control over. It lessens the risk and boosts your chances of winning especially if youre betting on sports
9563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you want to become Rich you need to Put Higher bets on: November 12, 2016, 11:56:48 AM
I don't believe with this type of thinking if the more you bet the more chance of winning and the higher you bet the higher chance of profit.

I also do not believe that the more you bet the more chance of winning you will get, and the higher your bet also does not mean the higher chance of profit. Your profit is not based on how many bets you made and how big your bet, it depends on what game you play and how lucky you are.

It depends on how you can read the flow of your play, if it tends that you playing it luckily then go for it, take the advantage of your luck.

There is no flow on gambling especially on game like dice because every bet is independent, you cant read the flow. If you think you can read it then it was just a lucky bet. No one knows when the luck will come, so no one can take the advantage of luck.

That is basically how it is. So even if you place a higher bet, it has pretty much the same odds with lower bets. The difference is what you're going to lose with a higher bet. If you're that much into taking risks without thinking of how much your losses would be then that technique is good for you
9564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: November 12, 2016, 11:44:24 AM
Houston v   San Antonio Don't miss this match as far as I'm concerned, last had pretty good matches played great last period less number. San Antonio with a tougher defense this time, I think taking this game. Harden in this match I think it would be more in the foreground in the same way Leonard also will be more in the foreground.

My money's on the spurs as well. This i think would be a classic case of offense vs defense and the level of defense that the spurs have is a lot better than the rockets' offense. I can have kawhi on harden all night long
9565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Going all in on a Hillary win bet on: November 12, 2016, 11:41:16 AM
Anyone else has the courage to go all in on Hillary? By all in I mean betting ALL of your bitcoins for a win.

There's some people that's doing this. They are literally going bet all of their bitcoins because they are convinced the election is rigged and Trump cannot win, why not go all in then? Maybe this is a rare opportunity to make a lot of money. Im thinking about it but I don't think I have the balls.

You were right, it was rigged, but not to your side (hillary) lolz  Cheesy
Well although i also thought it would be a hillary landslide win, i don't think the election was actually rigged. I have to give it to trump although i think clinton has more votes than trump. It's the election process that did her. And i think also that is the risk when you gamble. Most of us would wager everything on a clinton victory as almost all polls point to it, then we're given an entirely different result
9566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is betting a good choice for a newbie? on: November 12, 2016, 11:36:10 AM
I think it would be better for you to just hold that bitcoins than putting it at risk. Learn from the experience of other people. A lot of people have been gambling in this place and most of them talk about how they lost all of their money. Investing on some websites will lead to loss as well since all of them are just a scam site. Just hold your coins if you really want to get some long term profit.
Wellnwe can't really tell them to just avoid gambling especially newbies since they haven't experienced gambling yet. And i think betting would be a good choice so they would already know how it is if they lose money on a game of chance. Experience would teach everyone better
9567  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you always missed the right time to sell/buy bitcoin? on: November 12, 2016, 11:31:09 AM
Yes, I do. The reason for this is because I always doubt my decision. I always want to sell at the highest price possible, but there's no way for us to determine that. If I sell right now, what if tomorrow the price becomes higher. Same goes when buying, if you buy now, maybe tomorrow has a better price. That's why at the end of the day, I end up not doing anything at all with my bitcoins. I guess I would just hold my coins for a while.

Yes the same indecision happens to me as well. I try to make up my mind by not setting my selling price too high.
I think that happens to all of us. Me too, there's this feeling that the prices might be better if i wait more until the price would go down without me selling. Then would come regret. Though i've stumbled upon this technique to have a specific percentage in mind for selling. Like once it hits 5%more than the price i bought it, i'd sell it already. Then do the same thing next day Cheesy
9568  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest your bitcoins. on: November 12, 2016, 11:20:56 AM
Maybe we can apply the saying, "Don't put all your eggs in one basket." in here. Invest some of your bitcoins in the hot altcoins and then keep an eye on the market of that coin. I don't recommend investing in cloud mining sites for obvious reasons but if you really do want to do mining, then I suggest that you buy your own mining rig. You can also invest in new gambling sites and startup projects.

That is good suggestions, not to invest on cloud mining sites. Also better to invest in gambling sites than become a gambler itself Smiley There are many ways you can invest your bitcoin but be sure to background check bfore you put your bitcoins. Always be vigilant.

Gambling sites it's very risky to invest your bitcoins.. you really need to check the credibility of the site and ask few feedbacks from others who also do investing in gambling sites. Careful for those scammed sites who will lure you.
Indeed. There are a lot of scams all over the internet and we have to be very careful where we put our money in. We need proper research and to gather important information as investing is kind of a gamble itself, so preparation is a must if we are to expect a good roi
9569  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: November 12, 2016, 11:10:56 AM
If i were in desperate need for money Ill borrow and Ill invest
it to double the amount. Its really hard to earn money while
you dont know how to get it. Investing is the best way so
I can save some when I needed it.
Yeah that's a good point although for investing, it may take time before you can get roi. And you also would have to be careful because not all investments actually work. It would need to have proper research and planning so it still is a bit too risky if you ask me especially is you're in desperate need
9570  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: November 12, 2016, 11:07:42 AM
To grow the adoption of bitcoin we need people spending it as a daily currency.
In my country there is not much I cant buy with bitcoins.
Granted not a lot of retailers accept BTC yet but with all the services available now they dont need to.
A bitcoin debit card can be very handy.

Nowadays if I need to pay a bill then I can pay any bill via a site called livingroomofsatoshi

Please list any reasons why you could not use bitcoin for day to day expenses and maybe we can find a way.

the main reason to not to use Bitcoin for me is " non-availablity of services which accept bitcoin " as an payment .
while i am using bitcoin only for online deals .
I guess the world "non-availablity " is too much. We can see a lot of service online if you will search, maybe in your country there's none or less services that accepts bitcoin, but it's not for overall market. Bitcoin is booming, you should know that.
yeah. I think more people are now becoming aware of bitcoin and are using it because of its benefits. Also there are companies that accept bitcoin as payments not online through online but actual transactions. And i think it's just the beginning as we all can see that btc continues to grow
9571  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Trump presidency may turn out beneficial for Bitcoin long term on: November 12, 2016, 11:03:03 AM
Among his many campaign promises as a candidate for the US presidency, Donald Trump has also been promising to close the US markets for the Chinese goods, at least partially. That, according to him, will help restore American jobs that he accused China of stealing. If he ever lives up to his promises and actually does something to that tune, it will certainly cause further devaluation of Yuan, the national currency of China. But the Yuan devaluation seems to be one of the primary drivers behind the growth of Bitcoin for the last two years, along with the reward halving.

What are your opinions on the consequences of his economic policy in regard to Bitcoin and its price in the long term?
Miners can be affected if Trump's plans succeed in decreasing China's economy but still Bitcoins depend on US dollars rather than any other currency and currently, I can see the bitcoin price only increasing.
Yuan is again dependent on US currency and their economy is anyways slow. Don't think Trump can succeed in harming its economy.

I tend to disagree that Bitcoin is somehow dependent on US dollars. You just happen to see it denominated in dollars, and that's why you come to think it depends on it. Regarding the Yuan depending on the US currency, this is simply meaningless. Chinese economy greatly depends on the American markets because of the Chinese exports to the US, but it cuts both ways, anyway. I could just as well claim that the US dollar depends on the Chinese Yuan.
Dependent on fiat but not for a specific currency. USA may be a big country but we are using here a universal currency which would mean that all adopters from different countries support and use bitcoin, so that statement would prove that it's not only US alone.
I agree. Btc is not dependent on the dollar alone but on fiat. For now. Although we base exchange rates on the dollar, that doesn' t mean that crypto relies on a specific currency.
9572  Economy / Economics / Re: possible government regulations? on: November 12, 2016, 10:58:58 AM
Once they start "regulating" Bitcoin, they won't stop until they kill it.
government regulations are not meant to kill anything but they are designed to have the share of your returns ,so no regulations will be in place to stop bitcoin but they can impose heavy tax on it.
That will be true in an ideal world but in the real world governments and bank will see bitcoin as threat to to system and may try to pass regulations that destroy bitcoin and even if that is impossible they could try to pass regulation that slow adoption or that severely cripples the functionality of bitcoin.

While it is certainly true that they may consider Bitcoin as a threat, and most likely wouldn't regret if it kicked the bucket in the end, but, nevertheless, Bitcoin is too tiny to give them real pain in the ass, unlike, for example, gold. The latter seems to be what should be giving them genuine butthurt with its multitrillion market cap and the multimillenia story of being a truly authentic store of value.
Well we can't really tell for now but i think some time in the future bitcoin will pose a challenge and governments would be forced to take bitcoin in. Most likely, as you people have said, the clear thing they would do is to tax btc transactions and use especually if a lot of people are already using it
9573  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The real winner of the 2016 election on: November 12, 2016, 10:55:31 AM
First of all, congratulations on Donald Trump being appointed to serve the 18th term of the Federal Reserve!

Who won the election?

231,556,622 eligible voters

>>46.9% didn't vote
25.6% voted for Clinton
25.5% voted for Trump
1.7% voted for Johnson

your write true result
you write voted to clinton is above from trump
so why vote congres republic win , and presiden election trump win too

Popular votes indicate that more people want clinton over trump but america's election process clearly won it for trump. I don't think the result was how the majority of americans would prefer it to be but hey, trump won. I believe in what clinton and obama is saying that it now time to move on and like it or not we have to help trump to succeed if we are to succeed
9574  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will twitter censor Donald Trump? on: November 12, 2016, 10:50:06 AM
I don't think so. Trump may very well be one of the most powerful men in the world today so censoring him i think is quite absurd. Being the president of the us, basically even if twitter were to censor him, he has his hands on ways to uncensor himself if he cares to
9575  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: November 11, 2016, 05:05:00 PM
It is said that bitcoin will destroy the fiat system but i believe that if this happens the world will change completly because banks and a lot of things will go out of market.
Bitcoin will never destroy the fiat system for sure how we can trade our bitcoin if the fiat system will be destroy buy bitcoin there is nothing more than fiat can do if there no fiat theres no conversation at all i will always use fiat to  buy some goods.
I agree with you. Bitcoin won't destroy fiat. At best it may be an alternative for people much like how we use credit cards today. Many countries are still not that online dependent and cryptocurrencies rely on being online. So for 2022, i think fiat would still be the main currency we use although bitcoin could very well be more highly used by then
9576  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: November 11, 2016, 05:01:04 PM
For me it will take a very long process but we don't know if it would really happen. But i see future that the time will come as years passing by maybe every decade because the progress of technology is approaching faster, almost everything is possible now so maybe again the paper money will be replace by a digital currency and what we have already now ATM, credit and debit cards.
It may but it will take a very long time as you've said. Perhaps not in our lifetime but in the future. Though now there are a lot of alternatives now for paper money, generally it still is the one most used for simple expenses and other necessities.
9577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Putting money in lottery is gambling too? on: November 11, 2016, 04:55:16 PM
yes, putting money in lottery is gambling too. I think the lottery is a kind of gambling,
because there we put up the money to benefit from it too.
To me, whatever the type, put up the money to get more profit is gambling.

Put money on risk is gambling so anything where we take risk to get profit is nothing more than gambling, lottery has more big reward but winners are very few there than we can say this without doubt it's form a gambling and chance of winning is very rare.

Well it's already obvious that lottery is just another form of gambling as by definition itself, lottery is placing a bet and relying on chance and luck for a positive outcome. The outcome though for most people would be disappointment. The number of winners from lottery are very few but hey, with how high the jackpots are, i wouldn't mind placing a bet every now and then
9578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: November 11, 2016, 04:50:41 PM
No. I am never won in the lottery. I tried gambling before in Casino as well but I never won. I never experience getting home with a lot of money in my hand. However, there are people who really get rich because of betting in the lottery. They got lucky and they won something big. Some are now franchisers of a lottery outlet, some consider travelling, some bought a house and lot and many more to mention. There are people who get rich in gambling that is why a lot of people trying out gambling to meet their luck. Try and try until you get rich.

Of course I believe in you because if you won a lottery you will not be here, you are probably in bahamas partying with beautiful girls.LOL Grin

Despite of the hardships in gambling, we still wish to win big time so we can totally quit for aiming money and maybe just play a little for fun and I believe for us to be able not to lose big amount of money we should bet on lottery.
Agree to that sir. Although i think there are limited gambling games that can make you rich and those games are very reliant on luck. Number one would be lottery. Everyone knows that hitting the jackpot would change your life but it's also known that you have to be one very lucky person to hit the jackpot
9579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling vs Real Gambling on: November 11, 2016, 04:45:51 PM
online gambling , i can sit on my house, don't need to go to casino, don't need to be afraid if get blocked by Government ( because i use bitcoin ), so that is all reason why i prefer online gambling

I prefer online gambling too because I don't need to go outside of my house just to experience good gambling. But the same thing here in my country.

Because online gambling is now being reviewed by the officials and must be prohibited but as long as it is allowed, then I will keep on gambling.

And if I just gambling online, I'm saving a lot of money for my fare and as well as any allowance and expenses.
Yeah, online gambling is for lazy people like us but it's actually the game that can give us a big loses and wins, because in online games we can hide our emotion as we do not interact with real people physically so we can easy be tempted to chase our bets which is not good.
Well gambling itself is for lazy people whether it's online or actual. It boils down to the kind of person the gambler is. Some gamblers prefer the convenience and privacy of their homes and some prefer to experience it with a lot of people in a festive location.
9580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is betting a good choice for a newbie? on: November 11, 2016, 04:42:16 PM
Depends on what kind of betting game. For bettings on dice and games similar to dice, it pretty much won't matter whether you're a newbie or not as your chances are basically the same as experienced gamblers. So yeah for newbies in gambling, betting is a lot easier than games like poker although the chances of winning are not that good
