Op Bitcoin is not official at all. And no one person controls it. There are variety of factors involved. You can say that China people mint it a lot, but no they also don't control it. You can only control a specific if you have your private key, but don't try to control it, enjoy it. And read a little it, before calling it official

Happy hour on now
Stunna didn't post about happy hour here before it started, where did you find out about happy hour?
I guessing Sweeet was online on Primedice when Happy hour started, and he just simply telling everyone if HH started at that time.

Happy hour on now

Why Stunna and the other support of PrimeDice didn't posted or notify here in the announcement thread about the Happy Hour?
Because of that I wasn't enjoy that Happy Hour Sad
Stunna did for Happy hour yesterday, he posted it on this thread when HH started yesterday.

First some one asks about happy hour again, less than 24 hours ago this was answered, then sweet comments about happy hour and people again start pointing fingers at primedice who have already cleared the support system and person who reply will be slow in coming days, how does it matter sweet or primedice announces it. In end it was announced and people should have made use of it, instead of making it such a big issue, give them some space to breath guys.
9563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no competition on: December 08, 2016, 08:04:02 AM
All those FUDsters that where saying year ago how Bitcoin would fail because another currency would take over get proven wrong year after year. The more time Bticoin is alive, the stronger it gets and the bigger the network effect. Sorry but there will not be a Bitcoin 2.0. Bitcoin will go to 100k+ per coin in the next 5 to 10 years, it will absorb all the value researched in the field if not directly through protocol improvements then through sidechains.

Bitcoin will remain the only solid coin. The only coin that survived for the longest time (other coins can't claim this unless they invent a time machine).
There will be alts that pump really hard and make people millionaires, but no alt is going to surpass Bitcoin's strength and solidity. No coin will get a bigger marketcap. In the long term people holding 21+ BTC will be rewarded by history with rich-tier status for seeing the value in it before most people did. Do not let the FUDsters trick your mind or the trolls try to derrail the excellent job being done by Core devs.

Let's continue then our path towards inevitable triumph.

Those fools are eating their words back, while the Bitcoin community rejoices it's growth. It is the King of all currencies. No crypto currency can match it ever. I love Bitcoin a lot, and have been urging people to use it for growth and invest or trade. It's the best thing that has happened to people, can't yet understand why would people stay away or speak shit about Bitcoin
9564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EBay and Bitcoin on: December 08, 2016, 06:01:02 AM
The problem of Ebay isnt not accepting bitcoin but their high fees, if they accept bitcoin and keep with their high fees it wont change anything, besides the fact to bitcoin start to become more famous. This is something they must take care, since bitcoins are connected to low fees, ebay should reduce their fees if they would work with bitcoin, otherwise we would see the complaints raising a lot.

Ya eBay and lowering their fees it will take a valiant effort to do that, not really sure they will be willing to do it. Unless every one decides to unite and tell them to do it. That's again not Easy for everyone to be United and do it. It can only happen if everyone speaks in one voice, though the clamor for Bitcoin is rising, it's not risen that enough to force them. Let's see what happens in near future.
9565  Economy / Gambling / Re: I tried my luck again in yobit dice game..But ended to lose on: December 07, 2016, 05:49:19 PM
Ya I can relate to this when I started with altcooin was winning, but when I deposited money lost, the site doesn't seem to be probably fair. But what I learnt is, dice sites do not make you money, you end up loosing more than you earn, better to find other sites. And in end your luck is very important and I have done testing it and loosing it.

The point about yobit is that they don't give you any provably fair verification methods. They simply offer you an odd that is not backed up by provably fairness. That means that you are uncertain of the actual odds - they can rig it as much as they'd like to.

I suggest you play in a provably fair casino such as primedice, or bitsler which also offers dogecoin, ethereum and litecoin.

Yes that's true however their main revenue of income comes from trading fees. They shouldn't have to rely on rigging their Yobit dice to make extra income. That dice game should be more of a fun time waster then anything else. But since they are apparently cheating people, it will make others use a different exchange instead.

Ya some are lucky to realize to this forum, while others like me end up trusting and then loosing. Problem is when we start we don't know about probably fair method and when we loose, we start investigation. Ya now I am sticking to primedice only. I am sure now people will be able to make a smart choice thanks to this community.
9566  Economy / Gambling / Re: POTLUCKGAME.COM Multiplayer Bitcoin game LAUNCHED!! on: December 07, 2016, 04:28:59 PM
Hey Juggy777,
the insurance feature is primarily to limit the losses. We are fine-tuning it. So once we test it thoroughly, we will make it live!

That's an excellent feature which is missing in many sites. This would help everyone a lot, cause many people gamble in early stages and makes looses without understanding the concept. This will help people to make money and loose less. Kindly update when it's ready will want to test it.

Seriously, Micro? Player is asking very specified question about his withdrawal and you're selling PR bullshit about "exiting things coming in future"? Pffff. And what these things are anyway? 24/7 support? Wow, you are now reaching the standards from 1998, congrats!

And btw, did you see what is happening on recently added chatrooms? Absolutely nothing. They're dead, they're house of spam. Was really worth to implement them. Indonesian and Chinese, yep, that was urgent. You forgot Martian tho.

I wrote that while i was waiting for his cashout to be sorted and it did get sorted. And i already did reply to him.

And we gave him a nice bonus.

Sorry but there is not much better we can do.

I will address your feedback on chat rooms when i have bit more free time.

The real primedice finally woke up and for good. Like the part of the hot thing, sadly people can't take a joke this days, do not bother much. Finally the guy gets his money plus a bonus. Happy ending for everyone involved, good work keep it up. Looking forward to more features on the site, let's gamble and make some money, new year eve is coming.

Best support micro? people are waiting +12 hours for answer from your support. Congratz.
Yea I am waiting for more than 18 hours and still no reply.
I wonder atleast he should reply to me but nothing.
Stunning is ignoring my pm , he is there to say " happy hours being now" but not there to reply me or look into my problem.
From moment to moment as the lisk price is increasing i am going into loss.
That's all because of stunna and Micro.

That's really strange their service is also supposed to be good. And I remember seeing them replying to my comment and yours was above its actually been quite a while since they haven't answered you, when they answered me it seems they were very quick to respond to but seeing your post makes me think otherwise, hope you get your deposits soon.

9570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin governance sucks! on: December 07, 2016, 07:40:27 AM
Op you have completely misunderstood the concept of Bitcoin. It was made decentralised for a reason so to help people and prevent it from being controlled. Which ceo will actually benefit us. Until you are planning to become one, look if we wanted to use a centralized system, we won't be here. As far the fighting that yes, there won't be any end to it. Even having a centralized system and a ceo won't solve it. Your idea is against Bitcoin and it's philosophy.
9571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the year 2100 on: December 07, 2016, 07:08:47 AM
What will the Bitcoin network look like in the year 2100?  Will people still be running and using Bitcoin?

So Exciting.  What will the world look like in 2100?  Will Bitcoin play a part in it?

~CfA~

2100 don't you think it's a Lil far, cause like they say in the long run we all die. Coming to your question look where Bitcoin was, hardly people knew and where today it is. Every one wants a bite of it. Every one wants it as primary currency, who knows all countries decide to scrap their currencies and just use Bitcoin, all have same value, all stable and stronger. That's what I would love to see in 2100
9572  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any risk in using Bitcoin over Public WiFi ? on: December 07, 2016, 06:54:14 AM
I don't think so there will be any issues unless you sign into a faulty site and that's not protected. I think all wallets and transaction are secured, there no need to really worry and if the hackers want to hack, they will figure a way out. I am using public WiFi most times faced no problems till date, hence can say there are no issues.

Happy hour on now

what happends on happy hour ?

i been online and got nothing
When Happy hour begin, your faucet amount will increased 10k satoshis/0.0001 BTC + your ussual faucet, let say you have 2000 satohis as faucet, when Happy Hour begins, your faucet will be 12000/0.00012 BTC.

Wow that a huge jump from 2000 satoshi's to 12k. I don't see other sites also have this kind of happy hour. So daily what time does the happy hour begin. Do we need to claim the faucets then to begin, or bet and the amount goes up, if you could clarify, not getting how it will increase.
There is, Luckybit also have this kind of Happy hour. About what time when Happy hour begin, it's mostly random, no one knows when Happy hour will begin except admins (Stunna and Edward). When Happy hour begin, make sure if your balance at 0 BTC, and just claim your faucet like  ussually you did, then rolling your bets!

Thanks will check the site also. That's actually nice, it's kind of surprise for everyone and every one will enjoy it when it's sudden. Thanks for the tip of keeping a zero balance will keep that in mind. Will try and play in the next happy hour cheers and regards.
9574  Economy / Gambling / Re: Hack Into BitDice And Get 1BTC! on: December 07, 2016, 04:36:50 AM
That's a very nice features, most site often say it and lack when it comes to doing it. This security features is class and thumps up to the site for implementing it. This will help users use the site freely and without any hassles or fear of security being compromised. So will try the site and check the features. Good luck to the site.

9577  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is being told to people in High Schools about Bitcoin on: December 06, 2016, 12:23:18 PM
Five days ago, a friend of mine studying Economics at High School had a discussion with its teacher, regarding Bitcoin, since I told her about that. Here's what the teacher said :

1. That's illegal : He did not bring many proves here, just saying that since it has not been regulated as a currency, we were in a grey area, and something in a grey area is rarely something that will become totally white from one day to another. He added that the sole purpose of that was to buy all kind of drugs over the Internet.

2. It will crash : He said that he had studied Bitcoin's price evolution throught the time (what I doubt) and said her that being so constantly rising was a sign that it was not a viable project. Its proof : manipulated prices of things like silver or wheat are very stable !

3. Anyone clear in its head wouldn't use it : First, he doesn't recognise any kind of manipulation of the money and the danger that there is for people keeping all their savings in fiat. I know that because I had him as a teacher too some times ago. So trying to explaining him about the fact that there is a clear war against cash and evident facts, like that that shows our money need to be converted into something viable to be protected from massive surveillance, is useless. Him not understanding that, since its the best argument I have, I couldn't have replied. When she told him about the speed of transactions, he replied "we have PayPal", so I said me that it wasn't worth to ever try explaining anything. As a final point, he said again that the sole real use that is making standing apart is that you can buy drugs on the Internet...

4. Bitcoin at a bigger scale would fail : I couldn't explain you much what he said because what she told me wasn't very clear so I personnally did not understood, as her I presume how confuse her explaination was. To summarize, he said that it's still a little market and that it will fail to scale and will go back to close to nothing in value.

I'd like to get your feelings on that. Just call the arguments 1, 2, 3 and 4 and tell me what you would have replied back and what it does inspire you !

The teacher is such a noob.i suggest you ask your friend teacher to come here and have a discussion with the community on the points he mentioned. Not only will he change his views but will invest also in it. But often even I get it, it's not a regulated currency and what if it crashes. This is general view of people not aware about Bitcoins, it's same as the birds telling monkey to build home before rains come, then rains come and birds mock monkeys and monkey destroy their house, such people are dumb if they can't even understand the basics. I yet say bring the teacher here, we will give him amazing lessons for life.
9578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A decentralized (multilayered) blockchain. Is it ever possible? on: December 06, 2016, 11:55:05 AM
It is almost a given that if the Bitcoin adoption should increase multifold in the coming years, the current paradigm of a centralized blockchain is essentially doomed. I guess it will be simply impossible to process millions (billions) of transactions daily with such a blockchain where every transaction gets replicated on each of the hundreds (thousands) of nodes supporting the Bitcoin infrastructure. That would be a terrible waste of resources per se even if it could still be technically possible. So how feasible a decentralized blockchain (or something like that) would be?

Indeed, that would most certainly require a hard fork, but without such a fork, Bitcoin is bound to remain only a marginal currency at best

I think you have a valid point here. Most of the users might not agreed to this view, but I feel that a decentralised blockchain would be a good idea cause the transactions are bound to multifold over the years. And it's about time some planning is done. Would love to see this happen soon.

It is hardly going to happen any time soon

Some altcoins might be aiming at that specifically, and some dudes are even claiming that they have designed something to that tune already. But they have been claiming that for years, though nothing of substance has come out of it so far, to be honest. In respect to Bitcoin specifically, developer folks seem to be more busy with intriguing against each other than trying to work as a solid team. At least, that's the impression you get by reading flame wars raging here and elsewhere in the Internet as well as seeing the labors with which the updates to Bitcoin, long due and overdue, take to get activated (e.g. SegWit)

Ya I know and that's a sad reality. We are infighting with each other, and each one trying to prove his point, but if only they understood that they need to be United and it's my belief that the day the community is United, miracles will happen, what seemed impossible will be possible but then that's a long time, but I am positive it shall happen, problem is some fools spread rumors and then sit back while everyone bickers. Let's hope something works out in future soon.
