9581  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is halving. Is it really profitable ? on: June 10, 2016, 12:16:41 AM
Hi All,

I want to know about what is halving and is it really profitable whoever holding BTC. Also on what basis or calculation this is been happening

By every year or Any specific day ?

I have heard from my friends that the value of BTC will increase by every halving. Please clarify here.

Thanks!!
Right, Basic calculation if bitcoin price is halving you will get a more profit on next time because after halving is offset with increase the bitcoin price surpass a price before halving. It's will be a profit for bitcoin holding who buy bitcoin at the price is halving.
9582  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is amazon will be accepting bitcoins in the future? on: June 09, 2016, 04:56:16 AM
As tittle says will amazon accept bitcoins in the future?
Maybe, but amazon needs to consider with an intention to accepted bitcoin become one of their payment. I think is not for now to amazon accepted bitcoin. Maybe they have some various reason about it. Like bitcoin is anonymity and difficult to control their payment.

9583  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Steam accepting btc - will it affect the forum market? on: June 09, 2016, 04:51:47 AM
Latest news, bitcoin payments are no longer possible if you live in Russia as Steam disables Bitcoin in Russia 2 days ago.

Official Steam's statement: "Unfortunately, payment in the Steam store using Bitcoin will no longer be maintained on the territory of your region. We apologize for the inconvenience."

More info: https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/gaming-giant-steam-disables-bitcoin-in-russia/

Not only steam disable their payment using bitcoin but Russian banned bitcoin too from his country. Steam consider with reviewing their sales for sometimes in bitcoin payment. or it's a Russian effect from banned bitcoin from his country.
9584  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What would you like to buy? on: June 09, 2016, 04:47:24 AM
Cause I want to buy pets for.now,,dogs or cats,, cause when im watching tv there was this commercial anout this dog and his master,,teaching his pets some tricks so i decided to adopt one too
It's too difficult to sell a pet with online payment because you need to consider the pet before you can buy it. Does pet have any disease or check their condition.
9585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cashing out no deposits bonuses on: June 09, 2016, 04:43:50 AM
i already cashout from jetwin for non-deposit bonus

got 0.045 btc bonus turned into 1.3 btc..and use it to meet the roll over..it tooks 1-2 weeks while verifying my account

30 euro is the max that i can withdraw..

good to hear that,
as most non-deposit bonus with a very high roll over to meet with,
never success to cash out from those before Embarrassed
maybe in jetwin is a fair site not to manipulation their users to reach or gain much profits. and good to hear there is a fair site. but most sites want to manipulation their member to spend all have their bitcoin.
9586  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: June 09, 2016, 04:20:53 AM
I think halving have NOTHING with price atm, we had a full two years of bad news, starting with china, russia and mtgox debacle, and on top of that there was and prolly still is internal fight who will control bitcoin and how it`s gona be upgraded

With all the bad news in the bitcoin market usage and adoption nothing happened bad, ppl still used bitcoin everyday, so it natural after hundreds of dumps to try to short we now see steady increase

Even with all the hype about ethereum and a plot try to name it BTC 2.0 at the end all the $$$ from it gona go to bitcoin sooner or later!

See you all past 9000!

each new altcoin claim he is Bitcoin 2.0 , monero, DGB, MAIDAFE etc.
im never trust any altcoin except bitcoin, i think only bitcoin can survive. and im sure in future bitcoin will be 1st currency, maybe some goverment will accept bitcoin.

The monero could be a good coin as it is anonymous coins. The bitcoin will evolve always, it will be better after new developments.

after satosi nakamoto hidden his self , i think now at this moment no person can be leader of bitcoin development, some of member bitcoin mining  agree with XT versino BIP100 etc. bitcoin can't evolve with perfect. not like other currency where the developer active like etherum.
Maybe satoshi Nakamoto is hidden his but they control bitcoin development on the back ground. bitcoin still perfect evolves because next have a various project to improve bitcoin.
9587  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Dark marketplaces? on: June 09, 2016, 04:15:30 AM
There are coming more and more dark marketplaces on the deep web because of the fact that its these days easier and easier to get on such websites.
On the other hand I think its nice but there are a lot of scammers on it that is the downside...and cops.
But, better if you don't have a relationship with deep web because maybe you can fall on that and get caught with illegal activities. Much illegal activities on deep.
9588  Economy / Marketplace / Re: where can i invest my 1btc? on: June 09, 2016, 04:07:56 AM
suggest trusted site . thanks

did u tried to invested in gambling sites?  i think its more profitable than mining sites.
Right, Because many mining sites become scammer for now with adopt HYIP system and give an amazing offer to their victims. Better you buy hardware mining tool.
9589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much profit do you earn for a day? on: June 09, 2016, 04:01:21 AM
$45.20 usd per day. KNC Titans. Mining LTC to BTC via Shapeshifter
Now how this may work after btc halving I'm unsure

Rechecked that is profit after electric and the equip has roi'd

What?$45.20 USD per day?it's amazing. very big amount to me. Do you using hardware tools to mining too?I'm curious with this.it was very large after deducting the cost of electricity.
9590  Other / Off-topic / Re: Steady Way To earn Bitcoin Online... on: June 09, 2016, 03:55:47 AM
What advice can you give to someone who wants to earn bitcoins online ,however not through faucets
Who want to earn bitcoin for the short time you can try to become a giveaway hunter it's will better to you to earn some bitcoin. And the second way is trading and gambling but all of this you need have funds at first.
9591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: does anyone remember... on: June 09, 2016, 12:31:11 AM
I remember these times. These were great, crazy times. I sometimes miss these times as I sense that Bitcoin is getting more and more serious. The early times had a unique atmosphere of anarchy and craziness, where Bitcoin still felt somehow unreal as a true currency. This emotional detachment from the monetary character of Bitcoin led to a lot of experimentation and great risk taking which in turn fed a seemingly never-ending drama machine. As a bystander this was really exciting and entertaining... Cheesy

However I think it's a bit premature to call people who bought at $1200 "greater fools". After Bitcoin surpasses $1200 those people will also look good compared to all those who haven't bought any Bitcoin until then. Maybe the greater fools are those that left their coins at Mt.Gox.

ya.ya.yo!
At 2009 bitcoin price is $0.3/BTC some later on 2011 the price is gone to $1200 its amazing progress for bitcoin. we never thought the bitcoin price is gone exceed we expectation.
9592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: June 09, 2016, 12:24:49 AM
I would still go with Paypal because it is more popular and more accepted at the online stores. Bitcoin is also no bad but you cannot use it at most online web shops. Maybe if that will change in the future I will change.
I think if you're an active shoppers in online it would be better if you use paypal. because the system is already very closer to perfect. paypal for shopping with user protection and besides that almost every online retailer and merchants accepts bitcoin its more better

Sure, I think in Worldwide many stores accepted PayPal, But it's become more difficult for you to use bitcoin to active online shops because  it's only some online store can accept bitcoin become their payments.
9593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: French street performer accepts Bitcoin. on: June 08, 2016, 11:38:48 PM
Nice idea, It's will make someone will easier to donation, Maybe will appear another performer will adopt bitcoin, Maybe it's also advertised bitcoin to civilians.
9594  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen if Bitcoin became a legal currency? on: June 08, 2016, 11:31:38 PM
Everyone would like the bitcoin is accepted in all online and real stores and, as as mentioned in the title, what would happen if Bitcoin became a legal currency?
It's will make increase bitcoin price at the same time the taxed for using bitcoin or transaction increase too. The various transaction will difficult to supervised. Maybe the illegal activity also increases, but if bitcoin becomes legal currency at the same time we need to upgrading their system to make a control.
9595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: June 08, 2016, 06:10:33 AM

My kid wants to make some money.

I never cared much of those easy systems but seems it would work for him.

I gave him 2 faucets but i ALSO remember there was servers/games where one could make Bitcoin [or altcoin] just for playing.

Would you remind ?
It's will better to you if you can mix education with games can make your child reach a bitcoin. It's will be a more value and experience for your child. I suggest to oversee you child and become guide for your child.
9600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Most Exciting Bitcoin Projects! on: June 07, 2016, 11:50:37 PM
It is very exciting to see so many "killer app" projects upcoming in the near future. They will definitely add great value to bitcoin, and I think the price has to reflect that, so I think the price will go up after these things come out. I rank them by my estimation of their order of importance, and how I believe each one will add value to bitcoin.

1⟫ Segregated Witness and LightningNetwork - Larger block space, which will increase the capacity of bitcoin transaction, making room for more people. And empty rooms always tend to fill up, so I expect many new users from this idea. It also fixes malleability issues, and makes 0 confirm double spend harder so we can now build instant transaction systems with greater confidence and less risk of double spend with lightning network technology. Huge project, definitely nr.1.

2⟫ Block reward halving - Decreases yearly inflation from ~9% to ~4%, definitely a huge added value to bitcoin, and has the possibility to increase it's price. It will also make bitcoin less fiat-like, and probably larger investors will see bitcoin as more stable and established project. I also think that it will decrease price volatility, making bitcoin more stable in the long term. Huge positive and direct impact for bitcoin.

3⟫ Bitsquare - First decentralized cryptocurrency exchange, that cannot be censored or controlled, just like bitcoin. We are all tired of exit scams, hacks and inside jobs , or random account suspensions. The decentralized exchanges will bring us a new paradigm, and make trading more liquid and frictionless. This can bring a huge value to bitcoin. I`d put this as NR 1. over long term, but it might need a lot of testing and bugfixing before it can gain traction.

Other upcoming decentralized exchanges are: http://mercuryex.com  ,  http://www.coincer.org  ,  http://www.supernet.org  ,  https://etherex.org ,
                                                                    https://bcexchange.org

4⟫ Zerocoin - Fixes bitcoin's privacy problems, which directly drags down bitcoin's fungibility. This technology will ensure that all coins will be equally equal, no matter what source they come from. A huge step forward for bitcoin financial privacy.

5⟫ OpenBazaar - Decentralized P2P marketplace, a great invention that never existed before, and has the power to reshape global trading. It could work with any currency, so all currencies could gain value, but I think it will bring more value to cryptocurrencies, in majority for bitcoin. Frictionless global trading will also help many poor countries, that may already be looking after bitcoin, but need a "killer app" to start using it frequently. A huge project that will give indirect support to cryptocurrencies.

6⟫ RootStock - Is the first open-source smart contract platform with a 2-way peg to Bitcoin that also rewards the Bitcoin miners via merge-mining, allowing them to actively participate in the Smart Contract revolution. RSK goal is to add value and functionality to the Bitcoin ecosystem by enabling smart-contracts, near instant payments and higher-scalability.

7⟫ Joystream - Decentralized filesharing system. It is really helpful for small producers: singers, musicians, DJ's, and other artists. They can just host their art and get a huge audience, while bitcoiners could get a new money earning platform. The hoster and the seeders share the revenue, while the downloaders pay for it. Therefore many newbies will have an opportunity to earn bitcoin, thus increasing the demand and utility for bitcoin. It's a big direct support for bitcoin.

8⟫ Brave Browser - They will be the first browser to integrate bitcoin in their software, allowing people to spend and earn bitcoins directly. They have also designed their browser to be privacy friendly so its a good combination for bitcoin users. Although Chrome and Firefox own the market, they could gain a reasonable market share, and also force Chrome and Firefox to integrate bitcoin as well to stay competitive. In any case it will be big, however it will take a longer time than the other events, so i put this on the 7th spot.

9⟫ BitcoinJ Payment Channels - Payment channels to send and receive microtransactions, good for faucets, tipping or any other smaller transactions, without miner fees. It's not that popular and established yet, but in the future it could be a technology that can make smaller transactions less costly.

Let me know if I missed something, in my opinion these are the most exciting events or projects we can look forward to in the near future!

I'm very glad to saw this, along the time bitcoin will make a good progress and revolution. Nice list, dude. It's make me optimistic about the growth of bitcoin.
