961  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC to GOLD on: December 26, 2019, 02:46:14 PM
As the poll question states, in your opinion, is it a good idea to buy (stack) gold?

Feel free to elaborate your answer.
We can buy gold even without using our bitcoin and we can invest bitcoin and gold at the same time as long as we have enough capital for it. It is better to have a multiple investment so that we can also have multiple earnings and multiple ideas as well because we can analyze them both.
962  Economy / Speculation / Re: When is the perfect time to sell BTC? on: December 26, 2019, 08:15:52 AM
I am holding BTC from long time ago. And this time BTC going up can I sell now with this price? Or I can wait for more days?
If you think you can profit with a good amount then you can sell it as long as you are not lose with what you have capitalyze. If you think you already gain good amount of profit then sell it. You can also wait for more or until next year it is all your decision.
963  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How an interviewer made Craig Wright sweat about the question if he's Satoshi! on: December 26, 2019, 06:53:15 AM
Interviewer puts Craig Wright in trouble with a tricky question. Check it out yourself  Wink

(click on the picture to be redirected to the youtube video)

What is your opinion on Craig Wright, is he truly Satoshi Nakamoto or part of it?
I think he is not satoshi, maybe they are making another news so that bitcoin will trend again and a lot of investors will have some interest again with crypto so that the value of bitcoin will increase again.
964  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using crypto to help the homeless - (for real - with pics!) on: December 23, 2019, 07:34:03 AM
So I just finished my last year of pharmacy school classes and have more free time now. As a result, I decided to start this project "Crypto for the homeless" mainly because I always wanted to get involved with something involving crypto (other than hodling). I also feel strongly compassionate for the homeless because of personal ties to loved ones who experienced it. Anyways, I went out twice so far and handed out some meals. Planning on going out again tomorrow - I was thinking of using a flyer this time with some QR codes and the url for the site to maybe help gain exposure. I definitely plan on expanding this as much as I can.

http://cryptohomeless.home.blog - this is the url - check it out! help spread the word and donate some satoshis if you want! thanks!

This is a good way for you to involved with crypto, you have a good heart to other people around you and using crypto is also good for you to spread the news that crypto can also help others not only using fiat but cryptocurrencies too. If only I also have something to give to other and if only I have a good amount of crypto this is also a good way to share your blessings.
965  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will China Accept Bitcoin As A Currency? on: December 21, 2019, 01:07:39 AM
Why not? Let's open for every possibility, and it will also help bitcoin to increase more its use of it and it will happen for sure the value will also increase. If China will make their own coin then bitcoin will be the center of all altcoins for it for the conversion of coins to their currency or ETH as well.
966  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You selling to buy Xmas gifts or using bitcoins to buy Xmas gifts? on: December 20, 2019, 03:10:08 PM
So, watching the price of Bitcoin going down, made me think of reasons why this might be happening now.  Roll Eyes  I saw the news of the Chinese

scam and the coins being liquidated, but that sounds like a lame excuse for the price going down. A better reason might be that people are selling

coins or using coins to buy Xmas gifts. Let's be honest, it is that time of the year and people are going on holiday, so they need to dive into their

Bitcoin hoard to pay for that and also some Xmas gifts.  Huh

Are you using your coins to buy Xmas gifts and to pay for your holiday expenses?

I think there are some who use their bitcoin to buy Christmas gifts but of course, it is still better to hold our coins for now because the price is low and it is not advisable to sell but of course people has also some of their prioritize when Christmas Season that is also why bitcoin is dropping slowly because some of us selling their coins to buy what they need to buy this holiday season.
967  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: STOP BUYING BITCOIN NOW!!! This coin is crap on: December 20, 2019, 02:17:19 PM
Bitcoin is a total worthless coin that is controlled by chinese miners that hate you.

Bitcoin cant do anything that ethereum can do much better.

Bitcoin is worthless and only paid shills like tone vays or antonopulus are promoting this crap coin so you can lose your money on it.

Proove me wrong before delete my thread- and what happened to free speech bitcointalk moderators?  are you paid to be chinese?

Bitcoin isnt a coin anymore for the people but it became a chinese company

stop bitcoin now
We have our own decision if we want to stop bitcoin or not, we have our own mind and if you want to stop bitcoin then let it be. You can stop if you want and sell all what you have right now. For me, bitcoin still have a worth. 😊
968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What did you learn as a gambler? on: December 20, 2019, 01:31:46 PM
You probably heard the negative sides of gambling, some people who dont gamble has this bad impression towards it and we cant blame them for thinking that way because of the bad affect of gambling to a person who dont have control and let himself became addicted.

Now what did you realize or learn as a gambler (regardless if you became an addicted or not) that you can share to others?

As a former addicted gambler, I realized that gambling is not the answer if you're desperate to grow your money and should not be our last resort in times like this because there's another way that can be the solution to our problem when it comes to money.
Gambling is really not the solution when you are in need of money, it is not the best way to make money, it can ruin your life more if you lose at the end if you rely on it. Those who are not playing gambling really does have a bad impression of gambling because they never try their luck or they never experience it for them to know the feeling when playing gambling. Maybe they have just contented already on what they have that is why they don't really care on some other things.
969  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can i Bitcoin or not on: December 20, 2019, 11:56:29 AM
I realy want to buy Bitcoin i have 5000$ give good idea plz
You must learn more about bitcoin, read a lot especially news about bitcoin and what's the update about bitcoin right now or maybe other coins so you can decide whether to buy bitcoin or altcoin depend on your instinct, do not depend on other people but you can get some information from them and some ideas but at the end you have your own decision.
970  Economy / Speculation / Re: Two Years Ago, Bitcoin Was Over $19,000 — What Happened? on: December 20, 2019, 09:34:53 AM
It drops so hard after the ATH's because when the bitcoin value already slowly dropping. Then some big investors just invest without even knowing that it will drop more so hard and got their investments lose so maybe they just turn their back to bitcoin.
971  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It’s a curiosity to know on: December 20, 2019, 06:38:04 AM
In 2017, Nearly 50000 users in a day were singing up on Coin base.  In my view, number of people are now engaged about the blockchain mainstream than 2017. Curious minds to know “How many people are joining with their exchange now? Is this really increasing or what?

Maybe it is increasing but for sure more of it are not an active account right now. A lot of accounts was created but not all of it is active for sure. People who do know bitcoin are increasing but those who are interested in bitcoin are not that hype. Maybe they know bitcoin but do not interest in it.
972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Decisions for a better life on: December 20, 2019, 04:49:37 AM
This is so true that generally people work for family and give them priority . At times they will not buy anything for themself but will fulfill the other people needs and if anything left then they buy for oneself . But those who get addicted to gambling may find it difficult as it involves money and certain humans are greedy more than their family.
A lot of people now are getting addicted on online gambling especially now, there are lots of online sites right now so maybe some of them are already out of control especially if they are too much attached into it, it is hard for them to choose of the two for sure or maybe they will say they choose their family but in reality, they will not apply it to their real-life and still choose to play online non stop as long as they have money.
973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some big things to watch for in 2020 on: December 20, 2019, 02:03:30 AM
2020 will be coming soon. People have a big expectation in the upcoming year that there will be some big changes in crypto world. Even if some people doubt the future of cryptocurrency, we must be curious about what will happen in the next year exactly.

Here are some big things that all people may be waiting for in 2020:

1. How Bitcoin halving can bring impacts in crypto space.
2. Will we see the launching of Libra coin.
3. Us government intervention in crypto space, Libra project gets no progress.
4. People are waiting for the launching of Ethereum 2.0’s
5. SEC vs. Telegram, what is the end of this fighting?

More details, you can find out in the article: https://www.coindesk.com/10-events-to-look-out-for-in-2020

*What do you think guys?
We have a lot of expectations but I am just waiting for bitcoin halving, it can make bitcoin value higher or maybe lower. So that I know what move should I do next, buy or sell? Libra coin is just a news and we don't know when it will be a launch or is it really coming? Do you just think that Libra coin can help us also earn more than bitcoin? So as of now bitcoin halving for me is more important to wait.
974  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best time to selling the BTC Now on: December 19, 2019, 11:35:38 PM
Good Morning! Bitcoiners.
Please sell the BTC now ASAP.
The price of bitcoin will fall down more and more.
It will be hard to defend $7000.
I think now is a good time to get your original money from cryptocurrency.
Regards  Shocked
It is not a good idea to sell bitcoin on what price you buy it. You don't have to earn profit and at the same time, waste their time. It is better to be patient and wait for the price to increase before selling. Do you really have a bitcoin? It is easy for you to say that and advice here to sell their bitcoin.
975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it good to talk about big gains? on: December 18, 2019, 02:41:01 PM
Do you tell others about your big winnings?
Or do you wait for the time to pass and then talk?
Are you bragging about the big winnings or do you want to make a point not to waste your time and money in the casino, but get it already?
Of course it is already known that people like to brag, but is it wise to talk?
In my opinion it is by no means a good idea to talk about big gains, because it can only cause bad things, here are some:
1. Of course, you can be the target of a robbery first.
2. As much as you spend your time and money in the casino, the environment will say that you are addicted and that the gain is nothing.
3. We bring the danger of ourselves and our loved ones, this is in the first place, but these come to the detriment of your safety.
4. It is not good if you plan to have a job and to thrive in it, and your subordinate knows what you are doing.

These are just some of the examples, to hear your opinions, supplement me if I am wrong.
Maybe it is better to keep your winnings so that there will be no problem at all. Yes, you are also right with all what you've said it can be possible so it is better to keep it. But it also depends on a situation as well, if you play online gambling and win big amount then it is no problem if you talk about your winning through your chatmates online on that gambling game since our identity is just anonymous there.
976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Decisions for a better life on: December 18, 2019, 09:29:03 AM
We all know that being an addicted gambler is a very tough spot in our life, but what if you need to decide what to choose, your addiction or your family? i.e., the given situation will be that you need to decide on the spot if you want to pursue your "career" in gambling or make a good simple life with your family? what will you choose?
Family is more important than anything else. Money is nothing if there is no Family, we earn money and we work hard because of our family, so it is pretty obvious that we choose family over gambling. Maybe this question is for those who are too much attached to gambling that can't control their mind playing gambling. Maybe it is hard for them to choose of the two.
977  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How 18-year old boy became Millionare from Bitcoin on: December 18, 2019, 04:21:02 AM
I am talking about Eric Finman.

An inspiring story that is worth to read.

This is just a summarized of his journey.

Eric Finman is just a typical 16 year old student who is bright and creative. He has smart two brothers and he is the youngest. He is into latest technologies. When his brother introduced digital currencies (bitcoin) at 2013 who his brother brought 50 bitcoins. He decided to compete his brother by buying hundreds of bitcoin worth $1,000 in which his grandmother's  gave.

His brother Ross gave him a book by Ohanian ( a co-founder of Reddit), which indicates the power of internet and which got Eric's attention and interests. He is eager to meet him but there is $8,500 fee which made his parents think it was too much. With his eagerness he founds out and discovered that the bitcoin reached $1,200 and he sold his bitcoin to $100,000.

Finally, he met Ohanian. It amazed him how matured enough Eric when it comes to technology. One time, as a freelancer, he make a Flappy Bird knockoff  game and Ohanian is an eye opener for Eric's eagerness to use internet as a source of income.

He produce his own programmers, etc. And made his own company.

I just thought Mark Zuckerberg is the youngest millionare. Now, it is Eric Finman.

Here is my favorite line from my idol,

Quote from: Eric Finman
"I say if you do not become a millionaire in the next 10 years, then it’s your own fault."

He is now 18 years old. Despite of being disppointment in terms of education, he is now a successful and the youngest millionare by bitcoin and by his innovations and by being creative.

I think it is also because of his luck not only because he is really smart about the new technologies, he is lucky enough that his brother introduce bitcoin to him at the right time and invest money using his grandmothers gave to him which is really a great time to invest because the price before is cheap unlike now. I don't believe in a saying that it is our fault if we die poor. Sometimes people become rich because of luck not because of their hard work, even if how hardworking you are if people around you are corrupt especially on a company you are in then you will not going to rich.
978  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin could be 6000$ soon give us your opinion on: December 17, 2019, 04:33:42 AM
hello we all see a few movement Indicate that btc will go down to 6k is this  possible what would be your opinions
Bitcoin is slowly dropping and I guess it will drop even more because of holiday season, I think there is a lot of us right now is slowly selling their btc at the moment. As I observe the btc value every end of the year is always at the downtrend and it is just normal with me.
979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: May Altcoin have chance to rally even if Bitcoin dominance is below 70%? on: December 14, 2019, 04:37:11 PM
very likely because if we look at the time when bitcoin still doesn't have much value, the owner of the highest rank is altcoin I forgot what altcoin was and at that time I saw bitcoin-only ranked third, and if this will happen I think it's true what the article said that altcoin will take first place.
You have a good point, but maybe even if the bitcoin will rank as 3rd, I think it will still never change that bitcoin still the mother of all coins of cryptocurrency. Although there is nothing wrong if an Altcoin can be at the 1st rank when it comes in value, it is also good to have good altcoin value in the future not only bitcoin. Hopefully, we can have a lot of good altcoins in the future to invest.
980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opinions about quitting mining on: December 13, 2019, 03:59:44 PM
Tell me if my plan is bad, the first time i entered crypto space i started with mining rig setups but after some time its no more profitable so i stopped mining, now i start joining airdrops and bounties but present market condition is not helping, now I decide to sell my rig and find other business to divert the money to, if bull run ever comes I will still have coins to sell since most of my bounties I hold the ones with use cases, is selling my mining rig a good call?
It is not worth to mine if your electricity is too expensive. Mining is for those who have free electricity or low value of it unlike here in our country, our electricity is too expensive that is why mining is really not advisable here. Joining some airdrops is not bad as long as you know you are entering because we all know that there are really a lot of scammers out there.
