961  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is a Bitcoin Millionaire on: May 01, 2019, 08:10:23 AM
If every wallet belongs to each people i think they can be recognized as bitcoin millionaire but if the question who is own those wallet i think it's hard to find because nobody know who are them and the wallet it's almost near to fully anonym and not easy to find the identity but i think possibly one from those address belong to an exchange
This is right the faces behind those wallets are unknown and at that one can be mislead thinking it belongs to an individual but may belongs to an institutions and group such as exchange as you have said. So the only individual bitcoin millionaire to me is only santoshi Woe's wallet is holding over a million btc and so many others who are not even made public
962  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: which dice site is better ? on: May 01, 2019, 08:05:33 AM
Primedice before now have been my first choice when it comes to dice game but with the recent events on primedice I have moved on to stake and bistler, I know all gambling have to do with luck and in other to keep winning you must keep risking. So basically what I consider before choosing a dice sites is it bonus and mode of deposits.
963  Economy / Gambling / Re: ReelDice.com - The Bitcoin Dice Industry meets change on: May 01, 2019, 07:47:19 AM
I have made my account on the site and really the site looks nice. I have not deposit any money yet but the Shower feature of the site is very unique. I have claim shower about three times and i got more than 2000 Satoshi on each of my claim. Whats more interesting is that you do not have to do captha in order to claim your free satohsi. Its just a single click and you have free Satoshi in your balance.
I was hesitant to try out the new site since we already have so many bitcoin dice sites already, I visit the site homepage and did not register because I found the site graphics not appealing and not being able to play on mobile device. It cool to know that they offer such claims as shower and faucet, I will keep watching for the release of the mobile version to try it out fully.
964  Other / Archival / Re: Jordan Peterson BTC Donations on: May 01, 2019, 07:38:16 AM
While I'm really interested in what he's planning on doing with bitcoin, I don't get why people would donate to him. It's not like this dude is poor or something. lol.

P.S. As we speak, his wallet know holds 0.66679955 BTC

Source: https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/1JDQ2Q1pP5jS8epKbCmifd5ZMoBqaGcMTH
I also can not understand what is special about this donation but people rapidly send him the money and despite the fact that very fast. On his account 0.71644283 BTC
At this moment the wallet is holding 2.21576706 BTC which is huge just from December to this moment that show's Jordan Peterson as a great influencer with his books and motivational speaking. But what the donation is for is what we are not clear about.
965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No more time to waste on: April 30, 2019, 08:16:32 PM
This is what you will have when you have an unregulated system where any one is free to start a project even without proper chech before being introduced to the general cryptocurrency community and this have lead to widespread scam and worthless project coins. Any project with great potential need no much time before lunching and doing great on the general ledgers technology.
966  Economy / Gambling / Re: LamboForBitcoin.com - Win A Lamborghini Huracan With The Ultimate BTC Draw on: April 30, 2019, 07:06:35 PM
Well even if this raffle started and they give out a real lambo with proof how can we know that the winner isn't one of their staff?
I mean they could just fake it and show that the ticket has been sold out and only sell a little and let the winning ticket goes to one of their people?
I think this would just be a big joke and we couldn't really do anything to prove that they would play fair and really give out the prize.
That is lottery for you one person must win, and if it a member of the team that pick the lucky ticket then that is such members luck unless they have law prohibiting team members from taking part in the lottery. Am still watching to see the outcome of this at the end.
967  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Always monitor your coins - Always be secured! on: April 30, 2019, 07:02:17 PM
One of the key concepts of bitcoin and allmost all other altcoins is immutability. This basically means that if your transaction is valid and included in a valid block that has been broadcasted and accepted by most nodes of the network, the transaction becomes irreversible. This is certainly the case once a couple valid of blocks have been found and added to the blockchain after the block including the transaction the thief generated to rob you.

This is why i don't fully agree with your OP: if you monitor your coins, you don't gain a lot of security... As soon as somebody steals from you, your funds are gone wether you monitored them or not...

The only difference between monitoring and not monitoring might be that if you monitor, and for some reason you have used the same xprv or private key on multiple chains, you might be able to saveguard unspent outputs on different chains before the attacker is able to spend them... This *might* be the case for those forked chains, or for multi-coin wallets.

I do agree with your final comment: never store your coins on exchanges, casino wallets, online wallets,...
I totally agree with your point monitoring your coin on a daily basis does not guarantee the security of you coin because once a hacker is able to access your wallet then he can move any amount from such wallet. But also keeping you private keys secured is the best and don't store your coins on any exchange or online.

If the idea is to promote the sites through affiliate marketing without any investment, then the idea is good and worth looking at. Promoting gambling sites is much easier as many people easily join them in greed of making good money.
The idea itself can be profitable only for people who do have affiliations with gamblers who love to play and deposit money, but if there's none, you will also received nothing, you are getting percentage which allocated by the house or each affiliate that you'll going to bring to their house and deposit real money, good for people who are playing gambling with friends behind them to use the affiliations.

Most of the affiliate marketing programs are for those people who are popular in social media. A person with a Facebook page or a Youtube channel with many subscribers can easily make people join through their links.
You are right greed have been the major reasons why most people go into risky decision just because they Want to get rich quick, gambling is a game of luck and at that the teams are making money through different means and affiliate marketing to draw new users is one of the medium to earn from the activities of you referred users.
969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safe Bounty hunters on: April 30, 2019, 06:33:43 PM
Bitcoibtalk is just a social media but a cryptocurrency social media and have no power to regulate any new projects, bitcoin is just a community and not an authority and at that bitcointalk moderators can not help to stop scam project all it has to do is to provide a platform for scam projects be reported with tangible evidence against them and warn every member of the community against them.

971  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia to replace USD reserves with Bitcoin on: April 30, 2019, 06:09:04 PM
The US government have been unfriendly with cryptocurrency and that have been seen with the suspension of trading in some exchanges tokens and that is an attack on the adoption of cryptocurrency and Russia being a cryptocurrency friendly region will have to adopt cryptocurrency and looking away from the US dollars and optioning in to alternative asset.

973  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is a Bitcoin Millionaire on: April 30, 2019, 05:50:53 PM
People choose cryptocurrency or bitcoin since their identity is protected. So, I doubt if any crypto millionaire would even like them to be known. It's a huge some of money and this might put them in risk if ever they will be named. Huge investors are enjoying the anonymity and decentralization of bitcoin.
You are right why most people chose cryptocurrency is because of the freedom it offers it user with high privacy and decentralized mode of financial freedom, the are bitcoin billionaires such as santoshi whose wallet is holding over one million bitcoin. And so many other wallet holders who holds other amount out of the total 21 million bitcoin in use.

976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SEC Suspends Trading in Securities of Crypto Exchange Bitcoin Generation on: April 30, 2019, 03:57:29 PM
The sec have always want to control the cryptocurrency space and at that have rights over security tokens and at that any of they regulations affects the market price of this coins, this action is one of such cause the suspension of operations of the tokens on exchange till may 10th for the outcome of they investigation is totally against the privacy and freedom of the cryptocurrency industry.
977  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overturn the financial establishment or be embraced by it? on: April 30, 2019, 02:44:44 PM
This doesn't change one thing, except of course that the participants are known institutionalists and have access to their banker friends should they need the money in an event of a 'hack' or some other 'unforeseen circumstances.' After all they are just another platform out in the open though of course with an already established connections as opposed to their competitors, so yeah, that's about it. As for bitcoin's state currently, aren't the first exchanges already established the fact that bitcoin is another asset class and not Bakkt alone?
I agree with you in which ever ways they can't lose money rather they will gain from any situation, if there is full adoption of cryptocurrency they assets and investment will yield more profits. They are just institutions that have the ear of government and financial system that will allow them to avoid protocols to achieve they aim.
