Newbie start his post with plagiarism, so doubtful if it is a pure newbie. I guess it just another alt account from someone else which created in purpose to cheating a campaign.

DeFi is an abbreviation of the phrase decentralized finance which generally refers to the digital assets and financial smart contracts, protocols, and decentralized applications (DApps) built on Ethereum. In simpler terms, it's financial software built on the blockchain that can be pieced together like Money Legos...

962  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does a Bitcoin news site receive a penalty for copyright on: September 03, 2020, 11:34:35 AM
Did you mean subscribing to their newsletter? I don't think it would cause any copyright issues unless you co-pas and republish the news without embed the original source.

So I can get the news, but if I publish it after commenting with my own writing style, it's okay. This is how I understood, is it true?
Cite the part that you want to comment and don't forget to embed the original source as well. For example: based report on Cointelegraph "bla bla bla" then put your opinion here or you can put your opinion in front of the paragraph

I suggest to OP for searching particular project if they have an accusation or not before adding it to your list.

~~
Have been seen BTCGOSU exclusive promotions twice but unluckily I already registered a bit earlier on both of them before your promotions come up, maybe I'll join on the next one (if any)  Grin

By the way, seems you had taken a look at RounderCasino lately, any plan to make reviews on it? To be honest I wonder your views about it, will be glad to see it on BTCGOSU in the future.

Definitely this is a good service due to the current hype of defi projects, it really assists anyone to do a deeper check before jump in defi projects.
Unfortunately, there are some pages that still have not secured SSL (a bit worries).

Anyway thanks for sharing it

969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OpenPredict DAO Social Mining is now LIVE ! on: September 01, 2020, 08:54:17 PM
Possibly one way of producing market sales and at the same time promoting their project.   OPT at $8.79 each for 25 is equivalent to $219.75  which is quite expensive for the participants from developing country if they wanted to participate.
Indeed 25 OPT is quite expensive for some individuals to participate in their social mining but it's not for entrance fees. What you need is only to hold your OPT in your wallet to be qualified in distributions, so you are not losing anything unless the OPT price is going down or being dumped. Otherwise, if the OPT price going up or being pumped you will get double profit from your holding and the rewards from social mining.

Quote
With $5k as reward for those who wanted to participate in social mining, I don't think its worth the effort assuming thousands of participants will join the event.
$5k is the monthly budget, I think it's not really worthless to do since most of the current exchangeable bounties also allocate their budgets around $5-10k monthly.

Simply DeFi is abbreviation from Decentralized Finance, which is an industry that providing financial services such as lending, trading or etc through decentralized platform on a blockchain (mostly in Ethereum blockchain). There is another good article[1] which leads you to better understanding in DeFi or read this topic overview[2] about DeFi.

972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT ARE THE OPPORTUNITIES & PROSPECTS OF BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY? on: August 30, 2020, 03:06:25 PM
As a Nigerian with two years of concerted study on blockchain technology, I seem to be falling in love with blockchain technology everyday and I am looking forward to becoming a full time bounty Hunter, a crypto trader and investor, but I still would want to know the other opportunities in the blockchain technology space and how one can be a part of it.
Does not mean to offend but learning blockchain for 2 years to become a fulltime bounty hunter? It's fine if a trader or investor but for becoming a fulltime bounty hunter looks like you just wasting your time, imo.

To become a part of the project is not easy if you don't have reliable skill, experiences, or have good track records. Anyway, if I'm not wrong a few weeks ago Kraken[1] gives chances to the community to be part of them, maybe there's a suited role for you there. Good luck

973  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Torch-network Plagiarized Website Contents on: August 30, 2020, 07:32:13 AM
At first, our production team really appreciates the web style of the defipie.
Secondly, in a strict sense, we only include a majority of features to the defipie, and there are many more features we are developing, including the lucky transfer mechanism and unsecured loan, which will be detailed in the whitepaper.
That's not the reason for you to copy the content of another project, using the same template or hiring the same web developer is enough, though

Our team has stated that we are using the best technology on the market, Our technical team has reviewed their code and approved it
Torch is not a open scam accusation, we collect the ETH by the smart conctract, you can check the code .
you can submit your question in our Telegram,we would answer your question quickly.
Nowadays everyone can create their own smart contract easily, it does not prove anything at all. Moreover, you did not embed your Github on the site how everyone can verify it if there's nothing there?

we want add a Eflation mechanism of Lucky system ,you can read our medium
Why need to post in another medium account, what's going on with the old one? Suspended?

978  Other / Meta / Re: How well did you know our forum's sections? [GAME] on: August 29, 2020, 11:49:19 AM
Another entertaining game about the forum popping up. Scored 9 points in my first try. In another chance, I trying to cheat the game (my apologies) to see what's will show when guessing all the sections correctly, unfortunately after hit more than 20 points I lost my network connectivity then after refreshing the game page everything back to zero, lol. Hopefully, you can add saving/checkpoint option or try to keep the ongoing game not restart when the page refreshed.
