After the Champions League round of 16 draw, Man City will be up against Copenhagen.

Some folks wonder why City seems to get easier draws. It's necessary to remember that City consistently finishes on top of their group each season, earning them a favorable draw. But, let's not forget, there are no small teams in the Champions League. Copenhagen is a tough team. Man City faced them last season, so it's unwise to underestimate them. Nevertheless, City conquered the best teams on their way to their first UCL, and hopefully, they'll do the same this time around.

That's true, Real Madrid remain determine in winning the league this season. They want to capitalize on the poor form of Barcelona this season and win the league. But now is not yet the time for them to continue staying at the top of the league as Girona will comfortably win in today's game to dislodged Madrid.

Expecting an easy win as well, but it didn't turn out that way. I've to give credit to Man United's goalkeeper Onana for keeping them to a draw. The game was hard to watch, a dreadful match between two struggling sides on the day. Despite having plenty of chances, Liverpool couldn't secure the win, resulting in a 0-0 draw against Man United at Anfield. It's not the result Liverpool wanted, but they'll move forward to the next game against the Hammers.

I'm interested in the match between Napoli and Barcelona. I think it's hard to say which team will pass this round. Napoli are far from last season's performance but they are still a very good team. Other than that, I think the other matches have favorite teams. Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund are the favorites. The excitement in the Champions League will be more in the next round. Of course it is a bit early to talk about it but I don't expect too many surprises in this round.

Real Madrid is amongst the top four teams expected or projected to make it to the finals of the UCL without much doubts. They have held onto their champions league formula for winning and qualifying to the next stage without much hassle and that's what has made the difference in the team overtime.
I doubt Arsenal or any English side would win them if they get to lock horns in any of the final matches of the UCL, and that's because they have the formula for these kind of matches.

However, Manchester United is the top Premier League team and they have quite a fierce rivalry with Liverpool so this draw is quite fair in my opinion.
And indeed the Manchester United players played quite disciplined in this match, especially their defense line which the Liverpool players were unable to penetrate so that no goals were scored in this match.

Lewandowski was a known legendary finisher in Bayern Munich when he was playing there and now even after leaving Bayern Munich for Barcelona, still Lewandowski is performing well enough. Currently, in Barcelona Lewandowski has an effective role in this team and I think even if they decide to sell Lewandowski to the Saudi team, Barcelona will have a problem finding an alternative player to take his place in the team.
However, for any player, there is a high chance to finish their career in the Saudi teams the huge money they usually offer to players like Salah and Lewandowski.

Barcelona being offered a lot of money is not the issue, they may always accept that as long as the yare offered a decent amount of money, hell getting rid of the salary would be a good start to begin with as well.

The problem is that the players may not accept, you have to agree that Saudi Arabia as a nation is not a place that everyone loves, you can agree with their disposition or not, but you have to accept that as a fact, you may not be getting all the players you want due to some cultural incompatibility, some people grew up with a totally opposite culture to what SA has and they may not like the idea of going there, and this is why no matter how much money you offer, they may reject. And not like they will offer 1 billion to Lewandowski neither, it would be something he can reject, still a good chunk but not enough to question.

Leverkusen's excellent season in UCL. They managed to qualify from group H without losing. 18 points with 19 goals and only conceded 3 goals. Making them have a new history in Europe. I confess that I am surprised by the result of Lille's game against PSG, despite Lille being a very difficult opponent because in the last few games they have not lost in any game and had many draws, I still expected that PSG would be able to come away with a victory In that game, PSG had difficulty scoring a goal, thanks to the penalty they benefited from which allowed them to score a goal, if there hadn't been that penalty, then PSG would have lost in that game, but I have to congratulate them because PSG were very well in defense, they only conceded 1 goal in this game and that is something positive, it shows that their defense was good

with this draw PSG remains at the top of the table and with a comfortable advantage, I sincerely doubt very much that they will lose this number one position until the end of the league, in my opinion PSG have no opponents in league1 so they will win league1 again in this one season also mainly because the other teams have lost, Nice and Monaco, which could be teams that would cause some threat to PSG, had defeats, which only benefited PSG even more. I still can't understand why the other Ligue 1 teams can't have strong squads in their teams to the point where they can compete at the same level as PSG

They also need a winning streak after this, if they dont want to have a decreasing mentality. Bayern need to put pressure on Bayern Leverkusen who are in high morale with the win and the lead on the standings.

Of course, Juventus really didn't expect the final result of their match to be a draw because after all they lost several points compared to if they won. Because after all, they always need full points to be able to compete with other top teams and their goal this season is to get the Serie A trophy. However, on the other hand, the struggle will not be that easy because after all, there are several other top clubs who also often play optimally and consistently win.

Liverpool was playing attacking since the beginning of match but i have to says they weren't lucky because they were got plenty of opportunities to scores goals and it proven from their statistics that Liverpool has 34 total of shots during the match but none of these opportunities became goals besides that do not forget about Onana i have to say he deserved to called as man of the match because he was displayed good performance and Onana has made some important saves which make Manchester United defensive lines not conceded goals until the match ended

This result make Liverpool position was taking over by Arsenal because yesterday Arsenal won from Brighton and do not forget too about Aston Villa because this team currently can be threaten Arsenal and Liverpool position on league standings because after they can overcomes Brentford then Aston Villa has equal points to Liverpool and Aston Villa even only have a difference of 1 point below Arsenal

I knew it was going to be a win for Real Madrid, Villarreal is not in shape enough to stop Madrid at the Bernabeu this season, but I didn't expect it to be so easy for Madrid.
It's like Villarreal came just to lose. They're playing like they want to concede. They've been horrible. Although my bet is on Real Madrid, I expected to see more fights from Villarreal. They look lost already.

Madrid has done well so far despite their injuries. Even without Vinicius they still managed to win. They try to not drop too many points and they've been doing well. Slowly they're putting more gap between them and Barcelona who look lost too so far this season.

It seems there is really a chance for Lewandowski to leave Barcelona even after all the good performance he had in this team and all the goals he scored for Xavi and his players because Lewandowski got a good offer from the Saudi teams there is a chance for Barcelona to sell Lewandowski for a good price to the Saudi teams to earn some money from selling that player and use the money they got for buying othe and younger players from other teams because Barcelona is currently in the situation in which they need to somehow earn some money.

Yeah Manchester United where playing a defensive football, but also playing a counter attack game too, the game was more of clash of the titans, as the both teams played brilliantly, though that Red card given to Dallot towards the end of game was very unnecessary, I feel the ref made a mistake on that, onana on the hand performed excellently well today, the shots he saved where really impressive, if not Liverpool would have made it 2 Goals. Liverpool actually played like a home team, they where constantly trying to maintain the pressure on Manchester United. However the game ending goalless draw, was a fair share for both teams.

Arsenal gets very lucky as they are now a goal up on Brighton and HoverAlbion, this was always going to be a very difficult game and a big test for Arsenal, all I can say is that they really turned up and now the pressure has been shifted to Liverpool.
