China might have its political position strengthened after this deal, but I guess, it's relationship with USA is surely going to be adversely affected... It is playing a risky game...
Washington is undoubtedly shaken by the deal... Read online that it doesn't want any other nations to do business with Moscow... Monopoly characteristics are coming out in the sun now!
Washington already know that the deal was going to happen due to them alienating Russia with sanctions. They have already predicted it would happen and Russia knows it too.
yea true  but you know what Russia is doing now is not only 'selling' natural gas to China, it is also 'buying' China's help as a political ally. Imagine, if Russia were to be attacked, the flow of natural gas to China will be stopped. And China will definitely not want that and help Russia!

This is an agreement where China agrees to BUY natural gas from Russia. It is just a case of Russia losing business from the western countries due to the Ukrainian conflict and looking to sell the business that was lost to China to compensate their losses

$400 billion gasoline agreement – Congrats China
Too many articles on how Putin has played the West, yet this agreement also is a new punch of China to the East and the whole world as well.

A strong sign was sent before Putin’s visit: supply from Russia is not the only option Beijing may have (in fact it seems the only one, just in my own opinion). Beijing is ready to find their own energy supply from the south at any price. And attach to Vietnamese coastal security ships is just a start.
Beijing has its gas supply agreement for 30 years, what is next?
The oil rig has not finished its task yet. So it will stay there longer. If Asean fails to express its union in the issue of Spratlys and Paracels, who knows how long China would stay there. Well, after what happened in Cambodia last year, union seems a hard-to-pronunciate word in south east asia LOL

Not many people believe that the oil rig China recently deployed in Asian Sea (popularly known as South China Sea), which is accompanied by many “government vessels“ (if not army ships), may find some oil in that area. But somehow, not surprisingly, the oil rig helped China to find gas at good price from Russia.

if only make thread accessible to members when they become a member that would be good, lending and gambling threads, they shouldnt be allowed to start topics there.  also will keep new casinos showing up advertising instead of earning the community and getting involved first also it can force them to buy advertising for theymos, So theymos might be good for you as well.

yeah if you notice many newbie casinos go straight from advertising, theymo should limit newbies and jr members from starting threads in the gambling section, it could bring him more revenue as casinos dont wanna waste there time posting and wanna get straight to advertising.  or maybe charge 0.02 per month to let people advertise there casino on the threads can cut out the newbie pozis as well

Now I know why this thread in on the off topic. Tongue
Those who are holding lots of BTC will be terrified with this.

I think Bitcoin will not just die with its current price cause that can cause havoc. They will do things to avoid this thing and make it just balance in the market.

no one will get horrified by this, is just a troll posting negativity, probably hate that he missed the train and can never be a  bitcoin millionaire
968  Economy / Speculation / Re: May be the reason that bitcoin price boomed today on: May 22, 2014, 12:46:56 PM
Price fluctuates, $50 or less is hardly any meaningful thing. Just my thoughts, if the price break previous high ($550), then it will become significant. I would love to see the price goes up as well.

yeah correct I dont consider this is a boom remember a few months ago we were at 550 a btc, so this is really nothing, kinda funny how people tend to think a price goes up 60 bucks is a boom.  People scream 40 dollar drop a crash, how ironic.

970  Other / Off-topic / Re: Snowden poll on: May 22, 2014, 12:24:56 PM
without a doubt Snowden is a hero and if it wasn't for him we would be still in the dark, and I'm sure he knows more and didn't leak informations that could endanger american lives but I bet there are even worse stuff that we don't know of yet, but what we know already is quite disturbing and I'm glad to see some countries starting to retaliate such as Germany and their recent annoucement to stop using Cisco and other american companies equipement since they are being bugged by the NSA, (this will push the companies concerned to lobby and have their equipment spy free if they want to keep doing business in the internationnal market)

I heard people are trying to elect him from the nobel peace prize,  I kinda think he does deserve to get one or some sort of reward for sacrificing is life in the USa
971  Other / Off-topic / Re: Spiders live or die? on: May 22, 2014, 10:53:34 AM
I let them live. I have pet tarantulas though so I have a soft spot for little spiders. Sometimes I don't even bother letting them outside. They are free mosquito control and they don't bug me so whatever.
972  Other / Off-topic / Re: Snowden poll on: May 22, 2014, 10:52:03 AM
Snowden is part of their plan. Cause if he wasn't and spilling info that they wanted to keep quiet he would be sleeping with the fishes. A normal guy in hiding would never go on a show and if he did he would have bags under eyes for lack of sleep, be malnourished for not being able to eat for fear of losing his life. This guy looks like he is very happy for supposedly having a price on his head looks more like hes enjoying the celebrity status.. I have no clue what the plan will be but I know he is part of it.
973  Other / Off-topic / Re: Date Ideas on: May 22, 2014, 10:48:53 AM
Hi guys, so i want to take a girl out on a date but i don't know what to do. So can you guys tell me past experiences or any plans you've got to take a girl out on a fun date. I've known her for quite a while now and we're good friends (she's my cousin's best friend). She was recently in a relationship and I want to take her out on a date.Thank you!!!
I found out what kind of dessert she liked (girls love dessert) and then brought her to the grocery store after dinner. We bought all of the ingredients together and then made a pie from scratch. It was awesome, fun and we got to do something as a team!
974  Other / Off-topic / Re: Harry Potter Vs Lord of the Rings on: May 22, 2014, 10:46:25 AM
Lord of the Rings is MUCH better than Harry Potter in every aspect except maybe protagonist... but you could make the argument that there is more than one protagonist. I mean there are about 3 to 4 different story lines I find that far more interesting that harry being the one and only protagonist .
975  Other / Off-topic / Re: Your Highest Earning IN A Day on: May 22, 2014, 10:44:14 AM
You can earn $500 in a day but there is no use if you are broke everyday after that.Nonetheless, the day you hit your highest is a day of joy!
976  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which Console, Xbox One or PS4? on: May 22, 2014, 10:41:58 AM
I was an Xbox 360 gamer all of last generation but without doubt the PS4 has definitely got more appeal this time around.
977  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Britain to give sex change drugs to nine-year-olds on: May 22, 2014, 10:40:15 AM
At the age of nine the vast majority won't have gone through puberty which has a huge bearing on their sexual preferences. To start giving children of that age "hormone blocker's" is monstrous and is playing more to parents who just happen to think or wanted their child to be of the opposite gender. Many girls are tomboys and many boys don't like playing boy's games but with time grow into the girls and boys they were destined to be.
978  Other / Politics & Society / Re: US justice department charges Chinese with hacking on: May 22, 2014, 10:36:13 AM
The U.S. government is a great example of noise without substance. First they place sanctions on Putin's friends, but not Putin himself. Now they indict people who will never suffer a moment's distress. Why not indict the head of the Commuity party in China? Why indict the soldiers and not Xi Jinping? Or maybe this is what Obama referred to as being "more flexible" after the election. You know: appear to be doing something when actually he's doing nothing.
979  Other / Off-topic / Re: FACEBOOK IS DEAD on: May 22, 2014, 10:33:40 AM
Come on guys many of us know that Facebook is getting worthless and boring. Lets hear arguments!  Shocked

Couldn't agree more. The platform that once was best for connecting consumers to products/services that they value, now makes the businesses pay double to find, convert, then retarget to drive conversation. Now, it's all about targeting and driving traffic directly to your website, not buying likes than buying to put your product back in front of the people you paid to put in the pool.
980  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you do to have fun when you are sad ? on: May 22, 2014, 10:31:53 AM
When i get sad, i drink some whiskey and listen to ridiculous 80s hair metal and play airguitar and jump around my room.
True story!
