I don't understand people who have gambled and lost all their possessions to gambling addiction. They often think that the next match will definitely win and return everything he has bet in the past. Often they fail in such thinking. And some people often reason to fill their spare time with gambling games. However, they are also addicted and sacrifice everything. Gambling must have a limit, we must control between losing and winning. Everyone has won at gambling and also lost, but they always multiply their winnings to be played again until everything is completely exhausted.
I also play as entertainment, maybe between winning and losing I can still control well. In gambling I prefer to bet on football and boxing. it looks fun when we are enjoying the game and more excited to watch the game.
That is so true. That is why gambling is forbidden in our culture, in what so ever way. One losses control on oneself and hence result in life long loss of long long earning. I think one has to keep a serious control on oneself before diving into the Swimming pool of gambling. Its beautiful but its hard to get out of it - the exit slops are slippery. |

The tendency in many business is as you have described. It only pays if you reach a very large critical mass and you still need to get growing because at any moment competition may ramp-up their investment and catch up with your clients. They key here is to make this viral in so much as possible, that is, to use your clients to get new people joining - that allows cheap exponential growth.
Advertising and marketing is a different domain while gambling and money dealing is a different thing. Those who are in finance are well aware marketing is not their cup of tea. So better have a professional who can take care of it. Hiring a marketing manager and guiding them a bit would be a great help. |

Most gamblers around the world do not know the origin of gambling sites. Even I never care to see that gambling sites belong to which country in which i play online gambling. Therefore, most people will keep on playing on Russian gambling platforms unknowingly.
Secondly, i don't think that boycott gambling sites can have any major effect on the Russian economy, though only the business of that particular site may suffer.
I second that - Russia is a super power and they have the history of war. Have they had so much trouble they would not have attacked any country at first place. But I feel bad for the country which are affected be it Ukraine or Palestine or Afghanistan. I have no idea what you are talking about. I am talking about role models influencing people who are not old enough to vote,,, therefore not able to make their own rational decisions. I agree we cannot show them gambling ads, but at the same time we are showing them nudity-for-money.
Kids are so smart these days- and parents are too busy that sometime they miss what is going on with their kids or maybe sometime they trust their kids so much that it is hard to believe that they would go wrong somewhere. But one both the end there is something wrong both the parties do ie kids and their parents. |

The main reason why we gamble is to make extra profit while some gamblers take it as a full time work. Although our reasons of gambling is very different from one another. Gambling merely looking at it looks easy with high chances of winning but that is not so, the chances of winning is very slim even in sport betting where it is not always based on skills. The chances of winning are but always thesame and it can be based on luck. I have played many sports and my average winning was not up to 50%. Sometimes my loses are much than the profits. Every gamblers do have the thought of winning the next game. Gambling is an addiction and when its too much on the mind and nerves of the body it is not a good thing. We don't gamblor - and even if we do we don't mix gambling money with our hard earned money. That is the common tradition in our culture. I am not sure if people like to gamble all the time. |

LSG successfully defended PBKS by 20 runs, and good bowling from LSG led by Mohsin Khan and Krunal Pandya.
It was a good start from PBKS, but unfortunately, after the first wicket which took a bit long for LSG, PBKS lost wickets within no time, and there started the downfall of the team.
In short, it was not easy for LSG to win the match.
Things were going good till Livingstone was there and everyone like me was predicting that Punjab Kings will win the match but all of sudden Punjab Kings lost the track by losing wickets in regular interval of time. Krunal Pandya was too good with this bowling, took 2 wickets and gave just 11 runs. |

Since our side ( the other side of boarder  ) does not broadcast the series so we are not much aware. I only check the thread for updates. I tried to count the teams and I stoped in the middle - oh Gosh how do they manage such a big tournament. We have only 4 teams. So they create so much hype when its on! Usually they used to have 8 teams and in this tournament they increased a couple of teams and it is a 10 team tournament and they hype they created from the start as the premium T20 tournament in the world as the best players compete and i think it is much more entrainment than the actual T20 World Cup considering how competitive these teams are because it is hard to predict the matches . But isn't it getting too long? I mean what do people of IND think about this addition of teams? Since in the time where everyone is in so much hurry. People do not have time for it. Earlier we used to see so many TV stars supporting teams but there is less gamlor seen this time. Is it due to COVID or there are other strings attached to it? |

In my case and honoring my nickname, I think the best is poker because it depends on your skill versus other players and does not have a certain mathematical loss in the long run due to HE as in casino games. Although poker is a shrinking market and every year that passes the tables are harder and the profitability decreases (on average, there are always those who start and can climb levels in this world). You are a poker player - how many years have you been playing? At any point of time - have you ever thought that this is a good stuff but not much benefical and I must quit it. What happens is that even if you are right and some people that are famous take their position with responsibility and do their best to avoid promoting stuff that could deteriorate the lives of people that does not mean that all people have that very same opinion, which is why this law is being passed on the first place, however it is going to be very difficult for a law like this to be enforced as I am not so sure how they are going to measure that a star is too famous among the young and forbid them to promote a casino.
Sometimes people can not pre guess the affects of certain thing - Gambling is a very controversial stuff in many religions. People are not that liberal in every society. And since society is a mix of different culture - so they have to be extra careful in every way. Good move though - I appreciate it! |

The only question is how they will fix their game. They are not consistent. And it's not just about the last two matches, it's not just with strong teams that they behave like this during a game. Even in matches against weaker teams you can tell from their play that something is going wrong, maybe the problem is the chemistry of the team, but it's hard to fix, you can't do without buying new players.
Sports is a very unpredictable thing. You never know what is coming up next. A moment of luck can bring in good stuff for one team and moment of bad luck can ruin everything. That has happened here. I think it is hard time for them and they might not be able to fix it. |

If the casino is intentionally doing this then you should avoid them at all costs (as you suggested). They are practically manipulating the results which is unfair and deceiving. In a fair game, the result of each round is supposed to be independent of the previous oneeven if this results in a very long losing streack. The house always win on the long run because of the house edge. If a player hits the jackpot or makes a big win the money he won is what other players have lost / will lose. If you are telling that there are some manipulation in the results, probably you are not in a legal and licensed casino because as far as i know, they get sanctions by the government once they are caught that they are doing some means of being rigged. Although its always the house that will mostly win, but i think there is still no manipulation and everything is in fair play. Well, once you are in gambling, expect that you will get more losses than wins, its always the reality i know. A bit off topic - I agree the part in the OP where it mentioned that " you know you are loosing money" In our culture - gambling is strictly prohibited be it in what ever way. Anything which brings in ultimate excitement and involves money when you don't realize how much loss you are making is not permitted in our zone. |

Latter ofc. The former is there to let the casino last longer since it attracts new customers, but if they were only attracted momentarily, then the original meaning of doing it is actually lost. They have to give benefits to players not just in the early stages, but also for the entire length of their stay in their casino. To simplify, marketing strategies are for the casino to profit whether it be short or long term (mostly short term imo). RTP on the other hand, only lets them benefit in the long term imo. Now, what can we as gamblers do to get the casino operators to give more attention to the gambling experience?
Other than giving out suggestions, I don't think we can. They're probably thinking about a bunch of stuff as well so I won't judge them arbitrarily, but paying too much attention to promotions over what the users really want can be a red flag if done one too many times.
