I get "unknown scrypt" when I try to run the miner with "--scrypt" now without the command I only get about 10 khas/s per core, down from about 40 when Quark was being mined (also script). Does anyone know what im doing wrong? Mining at http://mona.2chpool.com with a cgminer shortcut. Would love some input or if anyone could write down the commands and miner they're using it would be greatly appreciated.  quark is different algorithm, this coin is based on --scrypt algo. on this coin, your cpu will get less khash/s speed. use pooler's cpu miner, use -t 4 or 6 for your i7. you'll get max. quark is not scrypt as much as i know. |

added that, still nothing. it works fine with other coins I have been mining solo.  I think that you already know that after updating the .conf file you must exit the wallet and run it again, but just in case ... yup, did that, didnt work, thanks anyway for your help. i am out |

I think you should add rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 in your .conf file. This is valid if the wallet and the miner programs are running on the same PC, otherwise you should change the IP address with the IP address of the PC where the miner is running. added that, still nothing. it works fine with other coins I have been mining solo. |

if i remove --scrypt i get shares above target. If I use --scrypt, I get normal accepts, almost all accepts. but pool shows accepts, but weird charts. And pool hasnt found any block at all. where are the blocks going? is this even scryptcoin or sha256?

45k with 9 hours of mining with 730khash/s on scryptminer.nl. I put in my machine and went to sleep, and everyone left the scryptminer.nl and in the morning that fucking pool had total 5mhash speed vs 5ghash of network speed, fucked me so bad |

ok i have been at this for 2 hours when difficulty was only at 66 when launched, my I7 3770k with 8 threads overclocked has found nothing yet, diff is at 180 now.
