961  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think this is the start of mass adoption in Bitcoin? or Nah? on: October 23, 2020, 12:22:44 AM
Haven't we started the mass adoption even before Paypal announced to accept bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies?

PayPal has entered the cryptocurrency market, announcing that its customers will be able to buy and sell Bitcoin and other virtual currencies using their PayPal accounts.

We can buy, sell and even hold cryptocurrency such as btc, eth through paypal. With this of course, will push through the mass adoption. However, they are also planning to use bitcoin payments to merchants thru paypal next year. If ever this will gonna continue to be launched, it will encourage the global use of bitcoin and will increase the adoption of cryptocurrency. Having this new platform service will then be improved crypto market as we know many are looking forward for Paypal to finally accept cryptocurrencies.
962  Local / Pamilihan / Re: coins.ph to gambling sites or vice versa. on: October 22, 2020, 11:13:25 AM

Hindi nila direct sinabi yong rason but after nung last transaction ko na medyo malaki ang cash out bigla silang nag message na need ng other reqts for AMLA nga daw.

963  Local / Pamilihan / Re: coins.ph to gambling sites or vice versa. on: October 22, 2020, 10:51:33 AM

One year ko na yun ginagawa from coins.ph direct to gambling sites. Last month lang nahold account ko dun.

Quote

Hinanapan ako ng other requirements like selfie video while holding ID, Financial documents at trading portfolio. After ko mag comply medyo nagka problema nga dahil need nila screenshots ng portfolio which is prohibited mag ss dun sa gamit kong exchange/wallet.

After 7-14 days naayos naman ang coins.ph account ko pero they reminded me about sa FAQs nila sa using their platforms to transact in gambling sites.

Ang ginagawa ko na ngayon ay not directly sending funds to coins.ph. For cashing in/cashing out I always use third party wallets like (freewallet, brd wallet) before sending funds.

Take note din na ang freewallet din ay bawal din sa gambing lately ko lng nalaman much better c brd wallet.
964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How safe it is to give a away personal detail to SwissBorg on: October 22, 2020, 08:52:00 AM

Personally, I don't feel relaxed giving away such personal detail, am I overreacting  and it is safe or you think the same as I?

It is normal for you to feel that way. It's also difficult to entrust and submit personal details while signing up such as home address, etc. But since it is part of their KYC before using the app, it's for you to decide if you'll trust the app or not. Is this the swissborg price prediction plus managing financial crypto assets you are talking about?

You can check out some feedbacks here about Swissborg before giving out your personal details.
965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Signature campaign increase ICO credibility? I see few good ICOs recently on: October 22, 2020, 07:41:02 AM
Not all. But I have seen some ICO that was being promoted by signature campaigns and build their credibility. However, a good projects always depend on different aspects as what others already stated. More particularly, we will also know if ICO project has a future and credibility if the product has a significant use and the team is very open to what is happening and showing off transparent progress of their project.

Signature campaigns is part of their promotion but the credibility always depend on the objective of the project, the team behind and the sincerity and eligibility of it.
966  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price has surpassed $12k!!! on: October 22, 2020, 05:16:54 AM
There are various theories as to why bitcoin pumped higher than $12k. And as of today it touched $13k, bitcoin deserves to pump since we've been into the stagnant $11k for a few weeks.  And to think it pumped and break the resistance of $12,300 after Paypal said crypto is for everyone and they're planning to support bitcoin and other altcoins, too.

Whatever be the reason,  we are happy to see some good progress at the moment.
967  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Another Sad Story of Losing $80K worth of Crypto Because of Fake App on: October 22, 2020, 12:12:05 AM

968  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is KYC for crypto exchanges? on: October 21, 2020, 12:45:54 PM
That was my problem with the local crypto exchange I use today.
Apart from the ID I submitted as their verification to be able to avail higher limit transactions such as exchanging coins, they hold my account because they still need to find other requirements to verify my identity as AMLA requirements.

I have settled it now but since you have introduced this kind of platform (swapzone) I manage to visit the site and I found the significant use that I really needed (Exchanging cryptocurrency without limit) especially that I often exchange large amounts of coins.
969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: End of Defi hype! Time to invest in real business with real products? on: October 21, 2020, 10:35:03 AM
Thats your choice to invest in real products or in other crypto projects as well.
And as expected, crypto project hypes like DEFI will gonna fade like what is happening right now. Those who are benefitted from that hype are lucky but those who are still trying their luck and trying to make a profit while the defi world is slowly going down, it's not yet late. For some reason, it is still best to invest in a product or projects that is real if we are seeking for long term and stable profits.
970  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [BIG LIST] Crypto Debit Kard on: October 21, 2020, 06:01:46 AM
The first debit card I've heard before was Advcash pero I've never tried it 'cause sa totoo 'lang masaya nako sa GCash mastercard (kahit may P20 ATM Withdrawal fee).  Roll Eyes

I have been using GCash Mastercard for a while a now 1 year to be specific pero parang wala pa akong na encounter na nagkaroon ng ₱ 20.00 withdrawal fee -- Saan po ba kayo nag wiwithdraw?

As far as I know, ang ATM na may withdrawal fee ay BDO, BPI at Landbank.

Anyway, yong sa mga debit cards mentioned by the OP.
971  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google news is spreading FUD on: October 21, 2020, 04:08:49 AM
I noticed google news is saying some older BTC addresses are liquidating, and we should be afraid of BTC stability and viability..

Me thinks this is FUD being spread by the bankster crooks.

 Any links bout this?

 Google news?

You mean the button news in google? The google is just a platform using by the writer of that news. When they established a news or an article through google and I don't think it's the google who are at fault by saying that. Find the author and the link so we may also see the news you are saying.
972  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: FREE advice for exchanges to make crypto trading easier on: October 21, 2020, 02:23:48 AM
Correct me if I'm wrong. You mean crypto exchanges should educate first the newbie trader before trading? In the first place, crypto exchanges wasn't built for that. Secondly, newbies in the first place should be aware about the risk in trading. If they are still confused how does btc trading works, they aren't prepared about it.

It is the matter of "knowledge and confidence". A newbie will not always be a newbie. Exchanges is there to help traders improve their own style of trading by using their platforms. Maybe they may possibly provide such warning for the newbies not to procceed if they are unsure what they are doing since risk is associated with trading.
973  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2 transactions to same person anonymously on: October 21, 2020, 12:39:16 AM

-snip

What about sending straight from exchange to the bookmaker? They'd only be able to see it comes from an exchange then?

Yes, that would be the other solution then. From  crypto exchange direct to the bookmaker.
Guess you'll have some idea now to your issues. Or consider some other solutions that members above trying to contribute. Though the easiest way is what I suggested IMO.
974  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2 transactions to same person anonymously on: October 20, 2020, 08:32:40 AM
What is the best way I can send 2 transactions to the same person without them being able to see that both of them came from me?
-snip

A bitcoin bookmaker was limiting me because I was winning, so I want to be able to open a new account and deposit money. But if I just transfer from the wallet I used for the first account, they will easily be able to see that it's the same person and probably limit me quickly again.

If this is the case. Have two cryptowallets. I mean, make another crypto wallet which you'll gonna fund  but have a mixer first before transfering that to that preferred second wallet. That's the only way bookmaker will not gonna trace that address came from your orginal address.

Two crypto wallets send in one person will be the solution. Or, another solution is to  fund or cash in via shops or atm machine then send it directly to your second preferred wallet.
975  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would you promote bitcoin if you were Jack Dorsey (twitter's big boss)? on: October 20, 2020, 06:19:53 AM
Is his 50 millions purchase not enough? He already promote it in nice way

Yeah he is but OP is asking what if you were the one who'll gonna promote it as Jack Dorsey?

Anyway, easy pz. If I were the one in Jack Dorsey, since I already have a good influence towards others. Just typing hashtag #bitcoinislegit
 #bitcoinisreal
then followers will just going to retweet and be curious if they are not yet aware about bitcoin. Coming from a good reputation person who will gonna tweet such, probably will gonna encourage them to invest or use btc too.
976  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: pano kung ang pilipinas ay magka crypto but it has same value sa btc on: October 20, 2020, 03:05:50 AM

And about winning streak, I eventually cashing it out with real fiat anf enjoy my winnings. I literally enjoying my prize and winnings.

978  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the 50% rule? on: October 19, 2020, 11:50:42 AM
That pullback is not always happening but its your technique and I guess it is working on you. This pullback you are talking in 50% is also a good idea where we can set stop loss on that pull back. However, we can confirm this in other technical analysis too. It's because there are times there are no pullbacks and went down or up profusely.
979  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We don't do it in Bitcoin! on: October 19, 2020, 07:50:38 AM
It must be alarming. Trying to smuggle gold and insert that on the rectum is kinda bothersome. That's probably how syndicates trying to get through the gold. However, yeah at significant point, we can't do that in bitcoin. And there's a lot of differences between gold and btc.

We can carry our bitcoin all the time using our phone  not worrying that they might arrest you.
980  Economy / Economics / Re: Crisis will be new normal but its not bad on: October 19, 2020, 04:57:33 AM
How can that of crisis be a solution?
I understand that the governments are trying all their best to recover the economic system after this pandemic hits us.

This new normal is going on smoothly. But i dont think printing of fiat money is beneficial, it was just limited. I dont know where you get all of your idea and predictions. But there must be other solutions to recessions.
