Been trying to get 2nd wallet to sync .. nothing, until I copied my entire wallet and removed the wallet.dat, now it is synced. Anyone know how to set up a node?

Friend started mining and couldn't sync the wallet, but it did after I sent him the whole blockchain, which didn't work, so he deleted all but wallet.dat and it synced. He's been very happy with CASH with his 1.6Mhs.

Try this:

- Copy your wallet.dat to a safe place I just copied it one folder up in /appdata/Roaming ..
- Download this wallet file, unzip, copy to where your wallet.dat is c:/users/appdata .. etc .. WALLET.dat included in this, DO NOT overwrite your own wallet without having a copy to replace this one with.

Then: run qt.exe and it should sync to the wallet address included in this, and you can replace it with your own wallet.dat and it will work.

Unless you are selling 1000 at a time, price is not important for small miners on this coin.

I am hoping Dev is working on fixing the old blockchain thing and other stuff. Shame to waste this coin, but every coin is getting pummelled, even aurora and maza lost 75% value from peak, Doge back to pre pump days.

Really have to look into USB risers, these IDE cables are a pain in the arse.

However, my business partner was a mechanic and is working on prototype 2 chassis, better than the Dutchman's. And will be coloured to match the GPUs   or by personal choice. Wider too for better cooling. 35cm risers from geldfabriek on the outer cards with shorter ones for inner for best aesthetics as well as airflow. All going on sale within weeks.

Want to build a beautiful rig, one which a rich geek could spend £3500 and display in his living room.

Other 8 were on Karma last couple days, got so dumped was a doddle to mine and block halving in a week. Holding not to sell at 2, even tho flipping Cryptorush cost me 1mil at 1 satoshi sell due to their "can't let you do that Dave" and resets to 1, then you sell ..

On another side note, looks like my future design team is moving to London and I have a spare double room. Lets see how that pans out in next couple weeks and they will do everything needed for CASH marketing, I won't charge rent if they do ..   also need them to build me a secure web portal and shop. CASH is probably the most innovative coin on the market and so poorly advertised and understood. Anti-difficulty-scam coins are just not interesting to auto-switching pools.

I think the RAM speed is too high, especially without the powertune. Try at 1400MHz and see if that works, 290x should be able to handle  --thread-concurrency 32765 (27400 works good on 290) rather well and "worksize" : "512", GPU engine will be fine at 940Mhz, but hot. Judging by the temp target, you aren't using a stock card, no need to have fan running at 90%. 45-75% will do.

As predicted .. BTC price shot up and that is the reason every alt coin has been dumped. Folks have to replace the Mt Gox fuk up, some idiot had $2mil of BTC on there .. why would you trust a website with $2mil?

The whole thing feels like a giant bear trap.

Dump down everything, then pump it back up = profit. BTC is recovering so folks will be dumping coins in order to hang onto BTC in expectation of its imminent rise.

Coin markets are a total mess, only thing being mined are the brand new coins which get dumped before the 1st confirmations are even in.

PoS coins are a solution, but without the high hashing power, folks just sell the interest cratering the price.

Seems the only way to profit is to join the zerg. Mine and sell as coins come in.

Been looking and everything is going down. Kimoto Gravity Well ... looks like profiteers do not like it one bit.

Only brand new coins are getting hashed to hell, forked and dumped. I think the biggest shocker is the collapse of Smart Coin really and that was purely down to KG Well.

While I have been a major buyer of CASH and miner. I have always said: mine and sell, buy only when you can afford to lose a gamble.

Same goes for all forms of gambling really. 90% of the people have lost BTC on trading these last couple weeks on every coin, I bet the DOGE buyers at 280 are kicking themselves now, not even going to mention poor suckers who paid for PANDA (down 99%) and MINT (down 80%) at the very top. RUBY, BC, ZEIT .. etc etc etc ..

Looks like everyone is selling off and with the Dev being quiet, wallet showing old blockchain for a week, Even I am having doubts about the coin.

It does remain profitable for small miners regardless of the price. Bigger boys will just drive the price down when off loading.

Then again, every coin is going down in price .. look at DOGE 50% less than last week, MINT is 75% cheaper and only getting worse. Even Karma tanked 66% in 3 days. Only Auroracoin .. 50% premine for Icelanders is gaining.

Way too many coins and new one every day, and folks mining those new coins when 10-60Ghs are on it are not even getting to sell at a profit before the dumping. Black Coin with its 8 hours confirmation time would have lost a ton of people a ton of money, while big 10GHs pool took all the profits.

I don't think anyone is bound to mine only 1 coin. Been mining various coins and using profits to buy CASH, kinda losing the profits here. Hehe.

If super advertised coins can crash, a coin with this many issue is bound to. Thing is .. last time this happened was just before Cryptsy took it on and it boomed for a few days.

I'll keep mining and buying. How much lower can it go? Still actually not a bad coin to mine if you can sell enough, but for small miners .. it is good.

It appears randomly some wallets forget how to sync for a day or so. Everything I did with MINT wallet for a whole week would not work .. and then .. just worked. I don't even have the .conf file on CASH wallet and works.

Ehh .. I try to not sound braggy, but it is really hard when geeks demand numbers, hehe. Hilarious part is .. 80% of that is not my money .. and some needs to be paid back. However, CASH coin is the best thing to mine for you, stable profit .. nothing spectacular .. but actually better than majority of difficulty scamming coins, which look better on Coinwarz.

The good part is .. if I can have 25Mhs working for me and another 10Mhs to call upon + 18Mhs I inspired to build, which I will call a favour one day.  That right there is a pool worth of hashing which will be used on CASH when time comes. And I am talking few weeks not months ... Bit of luck will command 50Mhs myself with another 50 on a favour call in 3-6 months.  Backed by a company and a 5 man development/design team ...

It really is not hard to explain why CASH is a superior coin technologically to .. well .. all I mined so far. Just need a showcase design, website, working Net Hashrate and updated wallet.

Both actually .. initial dump is over. Now just need more buy offers, but most have realised no need to over pay for it. Tick along with 1000 coin buys, trade half, stash half.

Here is my take:

MINT = designed to be mined in 1st month, price is way overpriced when all the hashing power leaves it. I was paying 4 satoshi for it, it can not go any higher than 40 for now.

BC = new, great looking coin .. very very overpriced since had 60Ghs on it, now has 30Ghs and only way is down.

CASH = had it's pump and dump from Crytpsy.

For pure profit, CASH. Other 2 can only go down from here, but will be good in a month again when the dump is over.

CASH coin is the only one with something different for the long run. Technology behind it makes auto-switching pools a non-starter, and with current lack of advertising it is super underpriced.

Now .. there are 3 types of miners to cater for:

- Mega pools - they only chase profit and dump coins.
- Bigger miners - 5+ Mhs - can exploit difficulty drops and make a handsome profit.
- Smaller miners - less than 5MHs - can not exploit nearly as well and anything less than 1MHs is just not worth even bothering.

Right now CASH coin is for the smaller group to day trade, price does not make any difference to their profit, when price is low , diff drops .. which yields more coins PER Block, in the next block no less.

MINT is not for mining any longer, think only has a week to run. BC is, but I would wait for initial pump n dump to subside. For the peace of mind coin, or when sleeping/working and can't track difficulty .. mine CASH.

I have some Grain coins, which are PoS and I can see Net Hashrate working. Can't be that.


I will, just takes time to set up a company and get wholesale pricing. For the next 2 weeks, I don't know where to even get the 35cm risers, only Geldfabriek has them and all nicked. However, I could spare a couple. They cost €19 each + some shipping to buy. PM if desperate, can sort something out. After company set up, will be able to make a trade order.

Going to have lot of fun with CASH coin in coming months, already learned a hell of a lot just by trading it .. win, lose, win, lose , lose , win .. much more fun than buy at 3, wait to sell at 4 .. %%% everywhere ..  plus it gives me a perfect launch platform for hardware store and my friend's casino if they get on board.
