961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it a sin to gamble? on: November 25, 2016, 08:28:57 AM
Most people in my place will say gambling is a sin. Why? In most cases, gambling will lead people to a bunch of bad things. First, with gambling people can ruin his life and his family due to the end result for most gambling activities is a lose. Second, with gambling people can be very lazy. They tend to forget their responsibility in the real life(jobless). And still much more bad effects caused by gambling.

But, for some people that able to manage their time and money, this activity can give them a good entertainment.

We will tend to link gambling to negative cause there are ton and ton of sad stories that is the result of gambling. To be honest, if you are skillful in your management of money, gambling is just a form of entertainment. But it is those who lack of management that give gambling a bad name.
962  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: November 25, 2016, 07:58:14 AM

15 hours for me its a long time for playing gambling and its can makes me get sick in my eye. if in 15 hours, his got much of winning from the games, then he is the luckiest person in gambling and could win much of money. but i don't think that his luck will work for 15 hours because we don't know when our luck is come and leave us, only the win or loss that we should know.
I think he does not understand the meaning of long term, it's not only base on hours or days but more likely base on the times you gambled per session. A year is the minimum, maybe, that's my definition.

I agree. 15 hours are consider too short. When we talk about long term, you must have constant gambling habits and you have to gamble for a long duration of times like half a year. In this way, it is easier to see the overall. Just like survey, you cant just ask 10 person and these result represent the whole nation.
963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your gambling strategy on: November 25, 2016, 07:55:50 AM
I use martingale strategy it is easy but high risk.. need big bankroll Smiley
I don't know what is the best strategy..
You need a big bankroll for martingale but you also need big limits in whatever game you are playing in your favorite casino, but I think martingale sucks as a strategy because you only need a few losses in a row to never see your money again.
Big bankroll has no use in martingale. It will just eat all your funds until no one has left. I'd rather risk my funds in random betting than using it in martingale.

Martingale is proven that it does not work in the long run. People just believe what they can gain in the short run until they suffer a huge losses than they realise the truth. Casino wont be around if there is something that can win against the house edge.
964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: November 25, 2016, 07:53:08 AM
No there is no safe way to gamble and like people already have said there never will be any methods to do it safe because gambling is all about the risk, its in the game and without it it would not be called gambling.

Cheating is just the safe way. But I dont think it is that easy to do that. I am surr they are monitoring it 24/7 and if something is not in the line they will easily fix it. So still there is no safe way.
You can cheat but the question is can you withdraw the btc you have won? I guess no. They are vigilant now compared before. They are only putting small amount of btc or even empty sometimes in their hot wallet. So that the player cant withdraw easily and theres a time for the owner to invistigate whether its real or cheat.

If you manage to find a way to cheat, then go ahead and do it. However, you need to know that by cheating huge amount, they can detect easily and they can even forfeit your deposit.
965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: November 25, 2016, 07:51:46 AM
I also walked through the difficulty of losing, greediness, stress, upset and emotional. There is a time that I can't control myself on playing. Reminded myself why I am just wasting my earned even I can't win over the house. Just like self reflection on my self why I need to gamble? just for an easy money? for my entertainment? is this the road for richness? When playing gambling I play seldom to avoid to repeat my old self if I continue again it will cause a big mess up on my life.
Been in that situation many times but it does not work out, I just reflect after a lose but after several days here I go again gambling. I guess we cannot quit directly and who loves quitting when you are still enjoying gambling.

My point is that, why not just be true to  ourselves and know our capacity, if we do not have extra amount of money for gambling we simply do not do it.

It is actually ok to gamble, however gamble at your own means. Set aside the amount you can use for gambling and that should be your spare cash. If you spend more than you can afford then you should start to look for professional help or your family members.
966  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io - NEW DESIGN! Most trusted and popular crowdfunded Bitcoin Dice site on: November 24, 2016, 10:41:52 AM
Hi

From the 1st of December BetKing will no longer be crowdfunded.

On the 1st all current investors will be divested and the BetKing bankroll will be funded by me.

The max bet will drop but will remain competitive at 30 Bitcoin.

The reason for this is that as some may know I have listed BetKing for sale.
The main concern from interested buyers is that BetKing would not provide a return on investment for them if they were bankrolling themselves due to lower max bet and investors not attracting players.
I'm going to bankroll myself to get better stats over the next 3-6 months to show what it would be like.

Would like to say thanks to everyone who has been invested in BetKing and welcome them to join the new investor slack channel I setup to discuss future projects. Pm me on betking chat if you want an invite.

It is really sad to see such a great btc casino is closed for investment. I would love to continue this journey with betking. However, i also hope that you can get what you for and hopefully you will have a great sale for betking.
967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling vs Real Gambling on: November 16, 2016, 10:21:11 PM
I would prefer real gambling to online because just that I can a feeling of the person I am playing with and to a large extent I am sure if I lose, I lose fair and the same goes for if I should win. This is enough reason for me rather than having to rely on all "provavbly fair slogan" all over the place whereas "the house always wins"

This point i strongly agree. Even when i play online casino, i would prefer to play on live table so i can see for myself and not to worry if the system is rigged or not. Even if it can be proven to be provable fair, this can only check on the next day which is actually too late. That is why i never play on new site with no rep.
968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity on: November 16, 2016, 10:17:37 PM
One of the best way to make sure that gambling to be profit is that you dont use your own money to gamble. So one way is to gamble with faucet, although it is very little but it can cure those who have the urge to gamble.

970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: October 25, 2016, 04:07:53 PM
I always believe in math. In gambling, you will always tend to lose as the house edge makes sure you are having negative returns. However in investment, you can do some research to make sure that your investment have an extreme high chance of giving you more than your initial bankroll.
971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to make a good amount with 0.01BTC? on: October 25, 2016, 04:05:58 PM
How to make a decent amount with 0.01BTC  in good time? Any good strategy or any method? Or any tips please?

0.01Btc is too small, to earn good you should start trading but 0.01btc is not enough. Perhaps, if you want to take risk then you can do gambling. But remember it's a very risky you could lose all.So, I prefer to make some more btc and then start trading.

Well for me 0.01 bitcoin is not too small because if op only has that amount for gambling or investment then that would be fine. For me, I won't suggest that to gamble, just invest it first with trading so that you are going to make some good profit first and once you are already getting profit in trading maybe you could now add gambling in it.

0.01btc is not consider small to me. In fact, it is worth like a week of posting for signature campaign. If we dont care so much about the 0.01btc, we wont even in the first place joining signature campaign to earn btc.
972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Gambling is Fun? on: October 25, 2016, 04:03:33 PM
gambling give you a sense of adrenaline rush and that is why gambling can be so addictive. This sense of adrenaline rush usually can only be created by extreme sport and is not suitable for a lot of people. However, gambling enable everyone to experience similar experience and that is why some people keep coming back to gamble to experience these rush.
973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is that also happens in gambling ? Losing his wife in gambling.I am worried >:( on: October 25, 2016, 04:00:36 PM
Gambling is not a bad thing but people just try to overdo it and thus, whatever things when you do it too much, it will end up being bad and you may hurt your loves one. So always treat gambling as a form of entertainment and not blindly trying to chase after your losses.
974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you like slot games ? on: October 25, 2016, 03:39:32 PM
I dont really like slot game in online casino. It is colorful but it is quite boring to me. However, in real life casino, slot can be very entertaining. I have played a lot of different slot machine and the more recent slot, the more attractive it will be. There is so many moveable parts to capture your attentions, a lot of loud noises when you get into special mode. The special mode can payout a lot which make you become very excited.
975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Putting money in lottery is gambling too? on: October 25, 2016, 03:36:49 PM
Lottery is gambling too since its involved risking money even in the smallest one and we need luck too to win this kind of gambling. It likes we bet on dice gambling sites at higher payout like 9900x or so! The chance to win it very small but when you hit it you are rich!

That is the attractive of lottery. It is to attract people by it huge payout while you only need to risk very little. The odd is ridiculous low so you dont expect much from it and even if you lose you wont feel the pain. That is why some people love lottery a lot.

Well I am not such a CS:GO fan so I am not go to bet.
I am just go to save my money, with gambling I will just lose all.

The ironic thing here is that sports betting can be the most favourable odds out of any gambling, its hard to judge real life factors.  Sometimes events change at the last moment and you can end up with really easy bets, by far the majority just stick with the biggest team even when its really not worth the risk for the reward possible.   That makes some amazing earnings sometimes, I often arbitrage between varied odds to reduce risk

WIth a 0.64 rating in his first map with Faze i think they still need to work on communication. Go immortals!
I thought immortals would win too, Karrigan is helping Faze perhaps.  They seem more cordinated.  I havent tried nitrogen before, I signed up to see

I have tried nitrogen before and it is quite good place for betting. It is one of the better esport betting site. I have bet with nitrogen as it is having competitive odds and also having a huge varieties of choice in sport betting.
977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How House Edge effect on Wining on Bitcoin Gambling ? on: October 21, 2016, 04:43:12 AM
The house edge doesn't affect the odds. It affects how much you win or lose, or in some casinos it is like a rake that is deducted from every bet you make.

If the odds are 50-50, the casino will win 50 times, but even if they lose, they take 1% or whatever the house edge is from you. Your prize is smaller if you win.

I disagree totally. House edge affect the winnings. It also affect the odds. Higher house edge will means you are more likely to lose and more likely you will lose more given that you are betting with the same amount. When gambling, house edge does not take from the gamblers when they are winning. So that means when i win $100, i get $100 when i cash out. It will be illegal if there is a casino where you win $1000 but you can only take out $950. The online casino with investment choices does take some btc but most of them take mainly from the profit, not from the amount of wages.
978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: October 21, 2016, 04:39:28 AM
There was never a way to gamble safe and there also never will be a way to gamble safe because gambling is not safe and its something that you cannot do safe too.
You can do some things to have minimal losings but that is all honestly.

One way of gambling safe is not to use your own money to gamble. So one way to get other people money is faucets. However, not related to gambling, there is also ways to get other people money like crowdfund to design a product and so.
979  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: October 21, 2016, 04:35:10 AM
There is no easy way. Period

The only thing that matters in gambling is your luck and hence once you run out of luck you are going to lose all your winnings. So dont chase your losses and cash out while still on a green streak. Call it a day and if possible try to minimize the addiction.
Winning in a gambling is requires your luck but you can depend on your referrals too we know that every gambling site is have a affiliate program if they wagered a lot you benefit into it.
Well, have referrals that much money, I think it is the safest way to make money from gambling sites, but you have to strive for it. and it is also not the way to make money from playing, and I also think that there is no safe way to create an easy way to profit from gambling sites, as it all depends on your luck
Yeah maybe you're right, have a referral will make a lot of money. It must be done with hard work so many people who have joined us. But if in a game of chance is very difficult to make a profit since it was just a game that requires luck.

It is not easy to have referral. You can put in hundred of hours trying to get more referral but you may not even get one. However, i also know of some people who has quite a profit in referral, not a lot but quite bonus to have.
980  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can u lose with gambling? on: October 21, 2016, 04:33:11 AM
So far i have lose about 4btc after playing different kinds of games. If you want to include investment, i would have lost like 20btc already. These happens when btc is still cheap. So the lost in fiat at that time is still consider not a lot.

Wow,

That amount of btc for today's market is so high,
I believed you still have some regrets right now after
losing such a big amount like that in gambling and
trading.

By the way I hope that It serve as a lesson for you,
So that by next time you will not lose more and more.

Definitely i have regrets but there is also a lot of other regrets in trading too. So many until i learnt how to let it go already. At first i also regret on why i didnt sell at the highest point of btc and even worse why i convert my ltc to btc to sell. I realise if i have convert my btc to ltc when it is at the 1k usd mark, and then when ltc was at 50usd after that, i would have plenty of usd in the trading account and when the price of btc i would have bought back at 200usd, then i will sit with hundreds of btc. However, when i start to learn about investment, i realise it is almost impossible to time the markets and i slowly let go about the potential gain that i miss. So now i have moved on and with only less than 10btc, i am still quite happy with what i have now.
