And it's BIP32 which introduced/standardized Hierarchical Deterministic Wallets, BIP39 only allowed them to be more easily usable and memorizable by humans. But Bitcoin Core still doesn't use BIP39 seeds for example, only BIP32 ones in WIF format. is BIP39 is a development from BIP32?, if yes, why they don't continue their development about vulnerability or weakness which was shown by electrum?. A fixed wordlist is still required. Following our recommendation, BIP39 authors decided to derive keys and addresses in a way that does not depend on the wordlist. However, BIP39 still requires the wordlist in order to compute its checksum, which is plainly inconsistent, and defeats the purpose of our recommendation. This problem is exacerbated by the fact that BIP39 proposes to create one wordlist per language. This threatens the portability of BIP39 seed phrases.
BIP39 seed phrases do not include a version number. This means that software should always know how to generate keys and addresses. BIP43 suggests that wallet software will try various existing derivation schemes within the BIP32 framework. This is extremely inefficient and rests on the assumption that future wallets will support all previously accepted derivation methods. If, in the future, a wallet developer decides not to implement a particular derivation method because it is deprecated, then the software will not be able to detect that the corresponding seed phrases are not supported, and it will return an empty wallet instead. Why I will never trust top exchanges
If you don't trust the top ones, which one you will trust? Actually, we are using top exchanges much better than low or small exchanges. Every exchange will have issues, but at least we can decrease the risks by choosing top exchanges rather than small exchanges. if it is about security, I am sure that both DEX and CEX will have also problems with security. Nothing is much better or safer because they are online and able to be hacked or making mistakes that will result in losing assets. That is why if we are doing it for a long-term period, never use any exchange to store our assets, use the hardware wallet so that it can help us decreasing the risk and also help us to increase the security system. But if we are sing it for trading daily, I will refer to top exchanges.make unfortunately, there are some crypto coiners who always save their crypto in right place like a hardware wallet on the years, but, only a second, He got a problem after sending it to an exchange in FTX. He never knows news and announcement, he never read them and never follow social media, he just sent, after that FTX collapsed, I think he is the unlucky person in the world. |

You gave the newbies the BEST start possible. My life changed when I staked my address at that thread, I'm currently experiencing an issue with ledger nano x that is preventing me from re-staking my addy after losing my account temporarily (thought I lost it for good but I didn't give up).
that was I mean, I try to suggest newbie staked his address here first because that is an initial foundation to continue the bitcoin world. it becomes an important entrance to this forum. So if the newbie is able to sign a message (offline wallet) with his bitcoin address, they can manage his found without 3rd party exchange, or an online wallet where the newbie never owns the private key which makes him lose forever his bitcoin, and makes a noise on scam accusation board. |

I don't know exactly, how to run a node with tor?. are we must download the tor browser first beside the bitcoin wallet? what I have experienced before, too many browsers rejected me just to open a website and warn me I came from a restricted country. so when I look at the TOR relay, France as (guard), Germany, and the last one is USA (restricted country). maybe TOR can't bypass it if always make the random relay. |

Bitcoin doesn't have a motto because bitcoin isn't companies and business, bitcoins are currencies that don't have mottoes like the dollar, euro, pound,, or even Gold. I received many arguments about point no.1, yes I know almost newbies here don't know about bitcoin what else of creating wallets. (but expert on smart contract, defi, dapp, doge which look funny to me)
what the newbie must to noted is, they came on bitcoin forum where they must know that very basics of bitcoin like offline wallet. If they know that basic knowledge I really sure they be save, they will not lose the money and be scammed here.
Almost newbies come to crypto world, especially on this forum got scammed by keeping the fund on online wallet, exchange or any third party., they don't know how to sign a message offline and stake it here.

No!. Don't think like that (profit), If not according to reality or be came unexpected, you will be disappointed and leave/hate bitcoin. I have a friend who really loves bitcoin in past, and assumes will get benefits in future, but in fact, he was very disillusioned with bitcoin because the exchange he save $20K bitcoin bankrupt, and not refunded his money. They constantly say education is the key to success but in my country today many graduates don't have a job, and most of them are still fed by their parents, and that's not the way it's supposed to be.
Education without skill is useless. without result which can make the graduation can get the fast job is still make them idleness and don't know what they can do next. This is not also your problem country, but all country especially developing countries where the official is still finding how to get money fast by corruption and never think about how the citizen live without trouble food, and other.
