961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need Suggestions About Investment in new projects on: March 04, 2023, 08:40:35 PM
Looks can be deceiving, infact the point of them having a website, white paper and all is for them to make themselves appear real to intending customers, most new projects employ capable hands to make up the project to seem profitable and even futuristic.

The truth is that when a projects white paper looks too real to be true make sure to even go further in your research, the chances of that project being a scam is high especially if it doesn’t have an concrete positive reviews.
962  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Misinformation about crypto (bitcoin). on: March 04, 2023, 07:55:40 PM
Hey mate you still don’t have you hands around what The whole crypto-currency thing is all about and please don’t make any investment or put your money in yet.

In as much as the traditional believe that any online process is a scam, Crypto-currency is not but this doesn’t rule out the fact that there are cases of scam in the crypto-currency . Crypto-currency doesn’t automatically block out scammers but it has giving you so much personal security at your finger tips that you can use.
963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 04, 2023, 07:43:41 PM
What a great turn around for Arsenal in todays game against Bournemouth, they went down in the first half and then they went down again in the second half.

Then the current table toppers staged a great come back after falling out then came back and not just that the won the game in the last minute 3:2 amazing football if you ask me.
964  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Naija delta bitcoin community hangout on: March 03, 2023, 08:51:17 PM
This was a foreseeable problem when we start to bring in tribe into everything, this has always been the problem of Nigeria but at this stage in life we suppose don over look am.

Normally we get the forum proper where anyone wanting to learn can do so and there are many of us that had it that way, now fortunately we don get a board for Nigerians which was amazing, now you want to still bring it down to Niger Delta after that would you go down to probably Community or street hangout?

This isn’t right and it’s very unnecessary.
965  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and education on: March 03, 2023, 08:30:41 PM
Well first for you to understand this you must know that education isn’t necessarily what you are taught in schools, you can learn any where and that can be considered education.

I am not tech savvy and have never been but my curiosity and passion to learn bitcoin has gotten me this far. If you can write and read and comprehend things then understand Bitcoin is all about your passion, consistency and availability of learning materials.
966  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I want to convert my money to bitcoin because of our current banking system in m on: March 03, 2023, 07:40:39 PM
If I am correct the scarcity of naira which is the local currency of Nigeria became scare even before the election, the scarcity started with the unplanned process from the central bank of Nigeria to transcend from their old note to the new note.

And to add to your decision of swapping your money to Bitcoin may not work as you envision because Nigerian government isn’t Crypto-currency friendly so spending in Bitcoin would be the problem here.
967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 03, 2023, 07:28:06 PM
Great to see Liverpool back to winning ways they pulled up good performance in their last game after winning their nemesis wolves.

I think the Liverpool team may have an upper hand over Real Madrid because they are coming out of a victory and Real Madrid are just coming out from a loss against Barcelona in the El Classico.
968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to this Eth Investor? on: March 02, 2023, 08:21:36 PM
We can not draw any conclusions yet because there are those who have some bitcoin in a wallet they haven’t touched and don’t still have any plans of touching their cryptos.

Other other hand there is still a chance of the owner not getting access to his coins due to his careless, that is the painful part of it. But crypto-currency isn’t merciful with such mistakes the coin would remain locked out to everyone until the right combination is gotten.
969  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: investment advice? on: March 02, 2023, 07:59:40 PM
Take a break from investing for now because it’s most likely you would make the wrong choice, I don’t know how you learnt about Binance or trust wallet, I would guess because they are popular and you probably think it’s your best option.

I won’t be saving my bitcoin on Binance exchange nor any other exchanges because you won’t be in total control of your Bitcoin, what’s the essence of being in cryptocurrency when you don’t have total control.
970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 02, 2023, 07:03:31 PM
The more I watch Manchester United the more I fall in love with their new system of play. It’s no longer a fluke this team are having the best time of their life’s in recent years.

Going down to westham would have been game over if it were to be the Manchester United of recent years but now they had to come down from going behind in the second half to take the victory.
971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are investors so sceptical about Altcoins? on: March 01, 2023, 08:50:44 PM
Well the reason why investors don’t feel too confident in Altcoin can vary. I have seen some investors who lost hope in Altcoin because of their personal experience, after investing in a potential Altcoin with all the indicators point to profit for them in the end it crashed.

Also some can learn from others experience with Altcoin. I prefer to learn from others experience. The Altcoin market is too big and to me that’s the problem, I advise investors to limit them self to Altcoin that has good market record And they are about a handful of them right now.
972  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin is to grow your money on: March 01, 2023, 08:20:06 PM
This things should not take time for a beginner to learn or should it be a problem if those who are introducing them into bitcoin do their job in the first place.

The optimism about quick riches created in the mind of beginners by those introducing them or the deceitful article they read, is not easily washed away, I think this problem is from the foundation and can be prevented.
973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 28, 2023, 08:50:18 PM
I believe Arsenal would defeat Everton this time around. Although I must say Everton played better than Arsenal the last time they meet and they were rightfully the winners of the game.

But this time around Arsenal would definitely know their mistakes in the last game and try not to let it happen again also there would be more productive up from with that I believe Arsenal would win the game.
974  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Abeg all this political Mata for different threads don do. on: February 26, 2023, 09:01:55 PM
It’s a pity that after we struggled so hard to get our own board we would threat it this way by spamming all around the place. I still no understand why everyone think it’s necessary to start post about the election.

I just they go through the board now and I Dey see high numbers of post relating to the Nigerian general election, it’s best that we limit it to one or two and any thing way you one contribute you fit contribute am for there.
975  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What bitcoin can do on: February 26, 2023, 08:35:09 PM
In a more simpler expression you can send Bitcoin to someone without the interference of the government, institutions or any organization.

Bitcoin has lots of utilities to different people, some see bitcoin as where then can invest their money in and get good returns on investment at the end of the day while other make use of Bitcoin as they would any other traditional currencies.
976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what is your reason for gifting bitcoin on: February 26, 2023, 07:29:11 PM
I think there is a misconception here, and it is mostly expressed by newbies. People gifting others is a normal thing, it’s either the gift is financial, material or kind so long as it’s regarded as gift from the sender and the receiver.

To me sending bitcoin as a gift can be considered as a financial gifting and not an investment plan from the sender.  Most bitcoin enthusiast find it a thing of joy using bitcoin and sending bitcoin as a gift is the equivalent of its monetary value.
977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 26, 2023, 07:19:07 PM
Congratulations to Manchester United on winning the carabao cup, it’s really been good times for Manchester United, they have really rejuvenated the team back to back victories even defeating Barcelona to qualify for the next round in the Europa cup

Newcastle has also had some good games, respect to them but this night Manchester United was just too much for them, the game was controlled by United and it was a deserved win.
978  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: How do we avoid violent during this 2023 election on: February 25, 2023, 08:40:09 PM
Avoiding election violence right now seem to be the current situation of Nigeria. We have people who wants to vote their choice into power and people who maybe employed by political parties or candidates just to frustrate the citizens efforts.

I believe say some of this election violence they happen because the incumbent government actually endorses it, we have security agencies, The army, police and other who should be deployed without bias or sentiments into polling stations to prevent such violence.
979  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Awareness and Redemption on: February 25, 2023, 07:46:39 PM
Congratulations mate there is no shame in coming out plane and actually admitting you were doing something wrong and you want a change. Joining bounty is not against the official rules that why people don’t get banned because of it but what is an account when it doesn’t have any level of credits from its community members.

I have learnt from the stories of now respectable members about how they started just like you and later made a change that they are benefiting from. I believe if you can have the that strength to want a change you can make it possible, make good post, read more and participate in a manner that shows you have actually giving up the life of spamming.
980  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Disrupting our Financial Landscape? on: February 25, 2023, 06:39:27 PM
And what is your Financial landscape? Change is constant, and we can see other sectors change especially with the evolving of technology why should the financial system be different.

Bitcoin and Crypto-currency at large is a technological driven system of finance although the banking system has also seen improvements in there technology but the fact that the power is not given completely to the owner of the finance(decentralization) differentiates it from Crypto-currency.
