Or you could just get the razor1911 that came out like, 48 hours before the official release. It's free if you aren't too moral.

I just want to say....

FCK you all for bumping this thread.

If BFL refuses to provide further information, then why bother posting? Its a scam.
I checked back this thread to see many pages of same old bsing. You're all contributing the scam itself idiots

Yeah, talking about how it's a scam is making it more of a scam. Also, I can't make out the first part of your post. I appreciate you trying to compensate for my deteriorating eyesight, but if you're gonna do it,

Do it right.
965  Other / Off-topic / Re: Matthew, I wish to present you a gift. on: November 13, 2011, 06:23:42 AM
I only take advice from friends.

See, that's your first mistake.
966  Other / Off-topic / Re: Matthew, I wish to present you a gift. on: November 13, 2011, 05:24:18 AM
It wasn't hard to spot. Learn to live some of your dogma, and embrace your challenges, and stop picking fights that nobody wins. You went and got Matthew grounded with your silly spat. It's a frickin' domain. The users in this community probably control 500,000 domains collectively. Don't be a giant putz about it, give it to him with some class and walk away from the battle, it really isn't worth it. Then people will admire your maturity and your disciplined approach to handling conflict.

Don't let this silly shit here get to you. There are actually some really good people out in the world that might serve as a reasonable example if you can take a moment and listen without going ballistic trying to compete/fit-in/rule the world.
Are you trying to get a high off being a mentor or something? Hahaha. Look, I act as I please. I don't need a father figure.

Fun fact: I was diagnosed with Aspergers four years ago.

Sorry to hear (read) that, bro.

Aside: I'm surprised Matthew's not commenting on this thread. Do you think his in time-out for a couple days?

Bah, it's a load of bunk. I'm far from socially inept. I've gotten job offers to just turn them down. They just saw me as different and threw the a-word on me.

Wait, receiving job offers is a sign of being socially adept? Quick, update the PDR! All those greeters at Walmart aren't retarded.

However this guy does not have a good balance of public relation skills.

On the contrary - he is getting pre-orders with absolutely no objective proof of a working product.
That suggests pretty adept PR skills.

-rph

no, that suggest pretty dumb buyers.
969  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Cucumbers vs weed on: November 13, 2011, 03:55:48 AM
I hear that the FEDS will be raiding some places in Cali soon.

Meh. That has been the case since SB420 passed in '96. It's nothing new.
970  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Cucumbers vs weed on: November 13, 2011, 03:22:36 AM
It is also much more stable then BTC, and bubblehash is still worth its weight in gold... ok I'll shut up now  Lips sealed

Where is bubble hash still worth it's weight in gold? Certainly not in California.
All over Europe? at least under 100 um, and wider sieves do not actually 'bubble'
But again depends if it is from plain old bigbud or some haze variety  Wink

Goddamn, I need to find a European skirt to marry so I can set up a garden there. I guess electricity will be a drawback, but I am sure they could use a bit of California methodology.

In that thread, a noob asked a rather stupid, trivial question.  kokjo immediately responded with this:

Quote
Hello all I am new to Bit Coins, needing some urgent help on how to use them!?
FUCK YOU! (ask smart questions please: http://catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html)

Quote
I have a registered Mt.Gox account, added funds, bought some Bit Coins but now what?
good for you! but i don't know, that answer to your question!

Quote
I am trying to transfer my Bit Coins funds from Mt.Gox into my shopping account for a "Store (SR)" how do i do that?
SR = silkroad. don't buy drugs, not with bitcoins or any kind money.

Kokjo

Awesome! "Fuck you!" is sure to bring more people to Bitcoin!
Was the question easily answerable by FAQs? Yes, of course.  Did a thread need to be posted about it? No.

However, would a good customer service rep handle that question that way!?  Is this approach likely to help bring "normal people" (aka grandmas) to the Bitcoin community?  Even though the question is stupid, we can't brush off every stupid question like that.  It's rude and the "customer" will leave.

I suspect our internet-forum approach to "customer service" isn't helping Bitcoin growth at all.  Although this forum is not official and is also not a customer service page, it's really the only place some people know about where they can ask questions.  Let's all be more polite and welcoming.

FWIW, I clicked report on it like, ten minutes after he posted it.

Don't troll the newbie forum...unless you know it's Atlas.

+1

What about having it such that only Atlas and Matthew have access as well?
974  Other / Meta / Re: Administrators and Moderators: A Serious Issue Regarding Illegal Activities on: November 12, 2011, 10:42:34 PM
Did Matthew get suspended over this.  He hasn't posted in the last couple of days although his profile shows him as having visited the forum not long ago.  His absence from the "Matthew, I wish to present you with a gift" thread seems especially strange.

It wouldn't surprise me. I wish the mods were a little more heavy handed with the temporary ban. Though that probably means that I would have been in the brig for at least like, a month out of the past six...
975  Other / Off-topic / Re: 1GH/s, 20w, $500 — Butterflylabs, is it a scam? on: November 12, 2011, 08:06:03 PM
Is there some reason Inaba hasn't been invited to walk into their office and prove definitively that they are at least developing this product? That would stamp out most of the claims of scamming. Every hour that goes by without this happening will continue to cement their reputation as scammers.

This times a million. Nut up and put them on the table if you've got 'em.

A parasite requires a victim. The host is harmed in the process. I've harmed nobody. I am not a parasite.

Your definition of parasitism is wrong.

This coming from you is hilarious. Parasitism does not involve taking something by force, which is what you contended on somehting awful:"Parasites are people who take by force. Rapists, The IRS, etc. " When you learn the proper definition, you can try correcting people.

Quote
If I am not providing the correct value in return for what I am taking, it's stealing. I have not stolen anything of value. Parasites steal. If I cost my host nothing, I am only a symbiont: I can only create value.

Like hijacking someone's computer for your own purpose, without telling them, and potentially harming their hardware and/or increasing their electic bill while you reap the benefits. Yep, that's value right there.

Que your response that nothing of value was stolen, the amount stolen was miniscule, blah blah. If you repeat something enough, you think people will give in. You know, when everyone around you tells you you're doing wrong, they just might be right.
I'll stand by my definition.

Parasitism is a type of symbiotic relationship between organisms of different species where one organism, the parasite, benefits at the expense of the other, the host.

-Wikipedia

It requires force to take.

Anyways, when people go to a website, they accept to run all the software that is on it.

You know, when everyone around you tells you you're doing wrong, they just might be right.
This is a dangerous mentality. The will of the collective is easily altered by social pressures; primal emotion.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9UlQFRoajs

Copying and pasting a wikipedia entry does not qualify you as understanding parasitism. There are plenty of cases of debatable parasitism, such a zooxanthellae reproducing in corals, where it in unclear that there is any detriment to the host, as the coral sequesters the dinoflagelletes and consumes their waste products of photosynthesis, but there is a clear detriment to the parasite: it is no longer free living and it's population is bioregulated by the host coral and they are digested at will. One could argue that it is mutualism, as both organisms can survive independent of one another, but only one thrives in combination. So what say you to the host benefiting from the parasite? The same could be said about much of your gut flora.

Obviously there is more than one light source in the picture, hence any kind of shadow weirdness you might be seeing.

I know there is more than one light source and I fully understand the implications. I work with SOLAR PANELS and deal with some very unique light sources myself. I am saying that the shadows on the two boards she is supposedly working on still do not add up. And yes I have dealt with multiple light sources and do on a regular basis. Specifically the shadows I mentioned are unlikely to occur given the arrangement of lights shown in the photo. and would require certain lighting conditions.

Again even if the picture was unaltered the boards could be dummy boards but I admit that they do appear similar to the other pictures listed in thius forum and on the website. This lends some apparent credibility to their case but if you were running a scam would you release any photo that would discredit you? No. If the photo appears legit to you its because it's supposed to.

If they grant a tour and testing session to the user across the road from their so called office in the welfare lofts then I might give them more credit but they have yet to do so.

If you work with SOLAR PANELS you work with the least unique light source of them all; THE SUN. The shadows seen in the picture would require bright, directed light. There is no way anyone would have that on their workbench.

The amount of vitrol and bile in this thread is astounding.

And it seems to be directed towards me for pointing out holes in what I believe is a scam.

I would say it was more directed at you because you (like Goat) have spammed the thread totally to death. I like a reasoned discussion, but I hate endless reposted spam.

I am not trying to repost or spam but when other people are trying to say that I am a liar and only doing it for money then I am going to defend myself. I hate endless reposted spam too but I did bring new information with trying to track down the supposed business registration. The place they are registered to said they never existed there so I performed some investigation of this myself. I did not think this would bring me vitrol and hatred. I guess my mistake was hoping maybe someone would maybe donate to me because mining takes so long to make bitcoins. In fact I think I am going to remove the original reference to my wallet just to prove this (as expected no one dontated anyting anyways lol). I also added some analysis of the only photo on the website that showed a person. 2 fake adresses+ no names+ questionable (but not impossible) performance numbers = scam.

Update (to avoid extra posts)

Removed other reference to my wallet. I don't care about money, Im just trying to prevent people from getting scammed. If you still send them money, don't say you weren't warned.

Oh yeah. The business registration that DeathAndTaxes posted like, ten pages ago.

You are repeating things that have been hashed (pun intended) over several times already. I don't believe this is real either, but come on; you are grasping at straws. There is a big soldering iron so she can't be working on a circuit board? There's a hammer by that kiln, there's no way a glassblower could be using it! Utterly preposterous!

There is absolutely nothing to establish the depth of the halogen light within the frame. You are speaking tinfoil hat jibberish at this point. Furthermore:
