961  Economy / Reputation / Re: Should Ratimov be in DT1? on: October 25, 2023, 08:23:03 AM
Also, it's not so clear to me that they are off-topic simply because he deleted them. If someone accidentally exposes a piece of evidence that reveals they have broken the rules and upon realizing it immediately deletes the post, referring to the deleted post is off-topic? Of course it isn't. And I'm not saying this is the case but it's an example that it shouldn't automatically be considered off-topic to refer to a post that someone has deleted.

At first, I did not notice that before moderators deleted those three posts, they edited my first post and merged all four into one. All I saw is I got three PMs and three emails that my posts were deleted from this thread, which is why I was kinda confused about the forum rules. Under which rules did those posts become off-topic or violate any other forum rules?

But since those posts were merged before they deleted the original ones, I know the reason why they merged. All those posts were replies to Ratimov. Once Ratimov deleted all his posts, my posts became all in a row. According to the forum rules, I cannot write multiple posts in a row.

The argument could be I did not post them in a row. But it becomes all in a row because someone decided to delete their post. I do not control others. I never know if they will delete all their posts or not.

Imagine you were writing to me in a thread back and forth, and I deleted all my posts, and now all your posts are in a row. LOL. That's how I can manipulate the system.
962  Other / Meta / Re: Why my posts were deleted from a Reputation board thread? on: October 25, 2023, 08:09:52 AM
I will lock this topic because the question of why moderators merged my posts will be controversial, even though I have a valid reason to ask. Moderators merged these four posts into one because they became four in a row after Ratimov decided to delete all his replies. But before he deleted his replies, everything was fine. I did not use bad words; he has used many in his posts. I want to say, Ratimov, that is childish behavior from users like you. At first, you tried to create a drama with me inside that thread, so the readers focus on you and me instead of the OP. When GazetaBitcoin pointed it out, you deleted all your posts, so my replies became all four in a row. LOL. Is it that how you manipulate the system? Poor try!

To those who were saying those posts were deleted because they were off-topic, you need to spend more time in the forum and learn which could be considered off-topic and which is not.

Whoever said I was posting all in a row, you should reread this post.
963  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Which ASIC miner to choose for Bitcoin Mining? on: October 25, 2023, 02:46:52 AM
As Stompix suggested, once the conversations go off topic - move or continue them where the new direction (altcoins) belongs.

Well, I guess you did not read the last line of my post. As I said, sometimes Topic A brings Topic B and I don't think it's bad to discuss Topic B if it's kinda related to Topic A. However, I do not want to join in the debate because I know you are right. So, It does not worth writing shit when I am not confident in myself. I don't know if the rules are that much strict.

However, since I got my answer and believe these is nothing much to discuss about it, I would like to close this thread. If anyone have any comment, let me know, I will open the thread again.

Cheers!
964  Economy / Reputation / Re: Should Ratimov be in DT1? on: October 25, 2023, 02:40:07 AM
Okay, I had no intention of returning to this thread, but it seems Moderators are also maintaining double standards. Last night, I was emailed that my three posts were removed from this thread. Here is the archive link of those posts;

https://ninjastic.space/post/63040347

https://ninjastic.space/post/63040507

https://ninjastic.space/post/63040536

All of those posts were On Topic and constructive. I did not use any foul language like others did even though I know using these words is allowed. So, why those posts were removed? Because some so-called heavy-weight reputed member reported them?
965  Other / Meta / Why my posts were deleted from a Reputation board thread? on: October 25, 2023, 02:35:57 AM
As the title says, I want to know why forum moderators deleted my posts. Under which rules do my posts violate the forum rules, and why did moderators delete my posts? Not one, Not two. Moderators deleted my three posts, which do not violate any forum rules. Then why was it removed? Because some so-called heavy-weight reputed member reported those posts?

Here are the three posts that we deleted;

https://ninjastic.space/post/63040347

https://ninjastic.space/post/63040507

https://ninjastic.space/post/63040536

All three were replies to Ratimov, and those posts were ON topic, constructive enough, and a healthy discussion. I demand a proper answer to deleting those posts. If those posts violate any forum rules, please mention them as well.

If you say those posts were removed because the post I Quoted in those posts was removed, Fuck it! I do not control it. I don't know who will delete their own post. If their action affects my posts, how can someone be sure they have the freedom to write?

Edit: Well, the posts were merged without any moderator's note. I didn't notice that at first. Didn't they notice that the author removed several posts?
966  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Which ASIC miner too choose for Bitcoin Mining? on: October 24, 2023, 12:57:19 PM
Learn Bitcoin, are you planning to mine? In here in Bangladesh? I don't think that's a good idea. You know how unreliable electricity is in our country. We don't have enough electricity to fulfill our demand. Where I live in load shedding is happening all the time. Electricity price per watt also went up recently. So I don't know if that's a good move.

Surely it won't be a good move since the electricity cost has increased. But, I was wondering if there are any ASIC miners that can be profitable even with such electricity costs. All I found is some Bitcoin miner with very low profitability. I also thought about other mining gears like Chia HDD farming a while ago, but I don't think it's worth spending that much to farm chia. I saw how HNT mining was creating hype at some point and then slowly disappeared. I feel like the Kaspa mining has the same future.

My suggestion would be try to reach out the miners of Bangladesh. They might be able to show you the current reality of mining in Bangldesh. Mining gig is can be very expensive. So before investing, you should consider those, cause the amount is big.

I anonymously contacted some miners who were attempting to sell their ASIC but unfortunately, when you talk with a seller, they won't give you the correct information. Most of their ASIC miners become a lose project because those are old miners.

968  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Which ASIC miner to choose for Bitcoin Mining? on: October 24, 2023, 12:23:58 PM
Looking at the past couple of day, Bitcoin has recently surged from 26k to 30k. There is uncertainty about whether Bitcoin will surpass the 31,000 level, considered a significant support level but I am of the opinion that it is going to rise. As Bitcoin prices rise, Asic miner prices and profitability are also expected to increase. The coming days and months for bitcoin are going to be a good one because of the potential for higher profitability in Bitcoin mining and the importance of low electricity costs for miners to maintain their profitability.

I understand that. As you can see, Bitcoin already touched the $34.5K mark today. I understand that Mining Bitcoin with high electricity costs like mine is not profitable at all. I don't know how philipma1957 still continues and what his electricity cost is at this moment. But I can assume that he is holding his Bitcoins until the next bull run which will start slowly just like this morning.

Today, I woke up and saw Bitcoin touched the 34K range while it had been between 25K and 29K for the last couple of months. But it's hard for people like me to continue the business with such electricity costs. I didn't even start, so why am I thinking about continuing?
969  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: List Of Scam websites by Learn Bitcoin on: October 24, 2023, 12:14:53 PM
If you noticed, most of those who created such lists stopped, either because they needed daily updating or because their search was not in-depth with all scam services and sites. I see that such lists give a false sense of security, as I will search through them, and if I do not find the site in one of these lists, this does not mean that it is safe.
If you have time and can update it daily, I suggest dividing it into several subsections, such as HYIP sites, cloud mining, mixers, scam altcoins, Ponzi, or any appropriate subdivision.

I have not considered categorizing them because I don't actively look for scam websites. I searched for specific websites and got those scam websites in my search results. I created this thread for one reason, which I already said in my previous post. If I manage to find a lot of websites, then I may consider categorizing them.

About not updating their threads, maybe they lose interest, or they don't have enough time to update their threads. I am not sure if such threads are useful or not. But someone encouraged me to post about scam sites in the forum if I find any.
970  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Which ASIC miner to choose for Bitcoin Mining? on: October 24, 2023, 12:34:07 AM
At OP & others: Getting waayy of the section topic folks...
Lose the crapcoin bullshit as it has NO place here. Ya know - BTC only section and all...

Huh?  Shocked

Do you even know what you are talking about? I am somewhat puzzled and haven't gotten you enough yet.
If I understand you correctly, you are concerned about the Iceriver Kaspa miners that we were talking about. Well, that comes from when we discussed profitability and the electricity cost. Of course, I had no intention of talking about altcoin miners in the Bitcoin mining section. Sometimes, topic A is related to topic B, and there is nothing wrong when you talk about it. The overall discussion was about which ASIC miner to start Bitcoin Mining.
971  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: List Of Scam websites by Learn Bitcoin on: October 24, 2023, 12:27:59 AM
You need to edit title, as I understand that you are searching for all phishing links for Iceriver or you want to search for all phishing sites for ASIC Miners.

If what I understood is correct, the answer is easy. Any link other than the official link, which is https://www.iceriver.io/, is a phishing link, or you need to create a list of reliable ASIC Miners.

There should not be a list of scam sites because any site other than the official site is a scam. you can make a list of trusted sites.

Well, I thought I would create a topic to let everyone know that a domain is a scam website, but then I figured out there are many of them. So, If I create one topic for one scam website, the scam accusation board will be filled with these topics. I noticed some users created their thread where they combine those scam websites lists and let this community know about those websites. See the example above posted by examplens.

There are really a lot of those fraudulent sites. If you were to open a topic for everyone separately, it would probably be best if theymos immediately assigned you a separate board  Wink

I wasn't actively looking for these websites. But yeah, it's not good to create a separate thread for each website, which is why I created this thread. But before that, I was searching for a thread where I could post them. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find it.
972  Economy / Reputation / Re: Should Ratimov be in DT1? on: October 23, 2023, 09:17:42 AM
Ratimov contributed to the forum a lot, and he improved himself. But what I have seen in the AOBT thread, I never expected that. The whole conflict started there, and I was one of the spectators. The conflict did not start from post no. 214, It started from post number 224 where Gazeta said

Pardon me, but I remember that some weeks (months?) ago I sent a PM to all translators which translated this topic of mine, just after the issue with Imgur images. I added new image links inside my topic, which were working, and I asked the translators to update the image links from their translations.

From all the translators I contacted, all excepting you replied to me and also updated the links of the images from that thread.

So it does not seems fair to come here and throw accusations to the left and right (although you were not a client of this alliance and, therefore, you were also not prejudiced in any way), while you did exactly what you pointed in the above quote.

No hard feelings, but it just not seems right to act like this.

Then, the argument started with whether Ratimov was supposed to reply to GazetaBitcoin or not. The argument continued till post number 233 and in post number 234, Ratimov started to insult GazetaBitcoin, where he claimed GazetaBitcoin was Shit poster king. https://ninjastic.space/post/62898692

I did not see any F words or insults from Gazeta in that thread, while Ratimov continued using foul language to insult Gazeta.
Moreover, Ratimov was the first to leave negative feedback without any reference. I do not weight this forum, but after reading all those, it was enough for me to distrust Ratimov.

Here is another blind defender of GazetaBitcoin who is trying to turn everything inside out. The conflict began not with the nonsense that you brought here, but with a completely different post. The conversation was normal until your friend, whom you came here to defend, wrote me this post:

You had no rational reason to come here and start this drama unless you actually wanted to create some more drama or you wanted to make a few more posts for earning 15$ or whatever amount you receive for such garbage posts.

So, you had nothing constructive to defend? Then you started to defend by using foul language and being aggressive? Look, I know you have contributed a lot, and I have respect for you. But what I noticed is you cannot handle criticism. If someone criticizes you, you should reply with constructive answers and valid points. Instead, you start calling them out and using foul language (Which I do not like; you have nothing to do whether I like it or not because I am no one).

Moreover, Ratimov was the first to leave negative feedback without any reference. I do not weight this forum, but after reading all those, it was enough for me to distrust Ratimov.

1. I didn't leave reviews to anyone first, your friend, whom you are defending here, was the first to write a review to me.
2. Reviews without a reference have the same force as a review with a reference, which does not contain a single proof.

I beg pardon If I was wrong regarding who left the feedback first. Yes, I know references are not mandatory.

So from this I can state that you are a two-faced subjective character with double standards.

...I also confirm the fact that you are a two-faced character with double standards...
A friendly suggestion. Use your words wisely. Your word choice is not very great.

but you added me to distrust because I....left a review without a reference.
Wrong. I didn't distrust you because you left the feedback without reference. I distrust you because your feedback is incorrect, and I cannot trust someone with anger management issues. Who left feedback first based on their emotion and then changed it later. I cannot trust someone who tries to dig out others' mistakes and attack them, whoever talks against them. I cannot trust someone who uses foul language to defend and divert the conversation to another path, just like you are trying to create a drama with me, so everyone focuses on this drama instead of the original thread.

If you think that when I was called a shitposter, writing for money and a plagiarist, criticism that I cannot stand, then you agree with the fact that I can freely call you a spammer and a cheater, hiding behind the word CRITICISM.

Everything needs valid proof before you call someone something. Well, it is not only Gazeta who called you these things; you made some mistakes at the beginning of your forum journey, and it was talked about in many threads before. So, it's not like Gazeta created it first and was accused of being a plagiarist. Of course, it was an insult calling you a spammer and writing for money, but I believe that was because AOBT people believed there was no reason to go in that thread and call them incompetent. After all, they don't update their translations. When OP asked for proof of your claim, you could not provide it. So, that was the reason behind the insult. If someone insults me for a valid reason, I don't have to attack them.

I'm calling you two-faced because you listed a bunch of crap that you can't prove, but at the same time, you trust this review:

Do you think it was written in sanity or under the influence of anger? That is, you trust this review, which says that a plagiarist and merit whore, but in this review there is no evidence that I wrote plagiarism and that I am merit whore. It's just someone's value judgments that you call criticism.

Look Ratimov, Gazeta is on my trust list, but that does not mean I support all his judgment. I believe this feedback is controversial. Now, if you ask, then why is he on your Trust list? Well, If I am not wrong, I have seen somewhere either LoyceV or someone else suggests that if you see most of their feedback is correct, add them to your trust list. Even though I distrust you for various reasons, you still have some feedback you left to others, which is valid, and I agree with them. So, I cannot agree with 100% of Gazeta's feedback, nor can I disagree with all the feedback you left. One has to consider many things when adding/removing someone to one's trust/distrust list.

And you are constantly trying to write to me about words starting with the letter f..., which I wrote, but my opponent did not write. For me, accusations of shitposting and plagiarism are equivalent to the f-word..., don’t try to instill in me your gradation of insults.

That's the main thing I cared about when I read those posts. When I think about any DT1 member, I imagine they will be constructive with their answer; they won't attack others because they pointed out a DT member's mistake. When someone insults me, I have to check the reason behind the insult. Attacking them back won't bring me a reputation or won't make me good in front of others.

By the way, here’s another fact that you are a two-faced hypocrite with double standards. You write that you cannot trust those who use obscene language to defend themselves. I see you trust the user BitcoinGirl.Club, who recently wrote the following to me:

Once again, adding someone to my trust list does not mean I agree with all the words they write. Please read the above again.
I have a brain inside my head and let me use mine. Once again, I request you to use your words wisely. I am trying to remain constructive here and expect a healthy discussion. But you insult me with foul language just because I do not agree with you. If you continue use these words, It surely proves that that is your usual behavior and you do this to everyone else whoever do not agree with your point of view.

Learn Bitcoin, you are entirely made up of contradictions, so I don’t see any point in communicating with you at all, since you support the idea that some people can do it, but others can’t. First understand yourself and what is fundamental to you, then tell me why you don’t trust me.

I have to judge the background as well. The same sentences could mean different things in different situations.
973  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Which ASIC miner too choose for Bitcoin Mining? on: October 23, 2023, 08:43:39 AM
As I already said, my electricity is not cheap at all. It starts at $0.08 per unit and increases up to $0.2 per unit depending on electricity usage. If someone uses more than 500 unit of electricity, per unit will be $0.15 and it will be $0.2 if I exceeded the 1000 unit.

It's the worst decision to buy Kaspa miner right now because Kaspa mining market will become saturated very soon and many people will be left with useless gear. First come first served can be said on Kaspa miners. Btw I can't swear for this but I know that I wouldn't risk because of my past experience.

It's because of what I have mentioned in my previous post, right? Kaspa's block reward and the reward halving system. I can see that most of their miner was too expensive and too profitable. KS0 miner was mining $13 a day a couple of months ago and now $1.23 a day after the electricity cost.

আমাদের জেনারেশন কি সৃজনশীলতা ভুলে গেছে। জীবনটাই কপি পেস্ট হয়ে গেছে মনে হচ্ছে।  Embarrassed
975  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: October 23, 2023, 08:29:22 AM
Ruben Darío street in El Salvador is being cleared of stray telephone and electrical wires. The mayor of San Salvador has taken steps to clean up Ruben Darío street by removing all the stray electrical and telephone wires. If kept clean, the city's revitalization plan will be implemented and the city will look beautiful and attract people's eyes.

Indeed, this is an admirable attempt to clean the city, but I am afraid Bitcoin has nothing to do with cleaning the town. I can hear JJG's keyboard sound and get ready for a bat slap or a thick rusty pipe shot. This thread is all about El Salvador's adoption of Bitcoin. Now, if you start talking about everything related to El Salvador, surely it won't be appreciated here.

If you don't want a bat-slap or thick rusty pipe shot, do not post these off-topic here, or else JayJuanGee will come up with one of them. If you know anything about Bitcoin, you may share it here.

I was searching for the Official Iceriver website which sells Kaspa ASIC Miners, and I found Google listed many fake websites that are scammers. Since there are a lot of scam websites, I don't want to create a topic for each scam website I find. So, I decided to combine all the scam sites I found online and post them here.

The original website of Iceriver is https://www.iceriver.io/.

There are several fake websites, and I listed here all I found.

978  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Which ASIC miner too choose for Bitcoin Mining? on: October 22, 2023, 09:13:40 AM
$0.31 a day after electricty is obviously caculated using the electricity price of 12c/kw, try put 0.06 $/kw in the box at the top of the page, most mining companies or hosted miners will be paying that or even less.

Whats interesting is the KS miners didn't scale very well to lower electricty costs, I think the top one only went up by $3 a day, wheras the BTC miners were very sensitive to it. The S19 XP Hyd for example going from $0.83 to $8.56 per day.

Unfortunately, the electricity cost is not cheap here. Electricity cost depends on the usage of Electricity. So, if I run ASIC miners, I will likely use a lot of energy, and the price of Electricity will increase to $0.15 where I live. Thanks for the info, by the way. Now, I understand that mining is too profitable for those with cheap Electricity.

Kaspa mining is on the rise right now but it is hard to get their asic. I found one or two in my home country but it cost almost twice  Shocked I think because everyone has an eye on this product and also bitmain is making it too.

Unfortunately, Kaspa mining won't remain this profitable due to its block reward-reducing system and the number of miners adding to the network every day. The block reward halves once every year and it is reduced every month.
979  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Governments Ban Cryptocurrency {Bitcoin} on: October 22, 2023, 09:00:21 AM
I'm not saying we need to convince them. Why do we try to persuade or argue with someone who knows everything but they deliberately ignore everything? I mean, the government knows all about bitcoin but because of its characteristics against them, the government cannot accept it. If they accept and allow people to use it widely, they are stupid because then they will lose power, control, and large tax sources...The government needs to put its own interests first before thinking about the people.
If it's only because they will lose financial gains if they approve Bitcoin, then there are ways to make money even with legalizing Bitcoin. Indian Government approved Bitcoin transactions as a legal and implemented tax on their financial gains. Many governments can also do this if they want to make money from Bitcoiner's profit. The Romanian government approved Bitcoin transactions as legal as well, and they also implied tax on financial gains. But when controlling your money, there is no point in supporting Bitcoin or any other crypto.

As I said before, this is exactly why governments don't want to accept bitcoin so they won't be stupid enough to accept bitcoin and accept losing control.

We both agree here.
