Thx  I'm trying  nicehash then going to a pool now to get started... but I'm using this bat file and it just closes even without the -l usa.

nheqminer.exe  -o stratum+tcp://equihash.usa.nicehash.com:3357    -u mywallet  -p x  -cd 0  -t 0  -l usa

nicehash miner 0.2a

use miner 0.3a

1 zec is trading at 500 btc on poliniex!!!

This is hilarious (and sad as I missed the start):

I think I saw 2000 btc. So 1 btc was 1/2000 zatoshi (-:

Yes, though there's only 0.83 ZEC total on the sell side.

Everyone's waiting for block maturity.

It will go sub 1 BTC in a few hours.

I am going to gamble and hold my zatoshis. Nothing to loose here...

All of my payouts will be in BitCoin (BTC), however.  The NiceHash miner is hardcoded for NiceHash only.  Some may want to hold actual Zcash until it spikes.        --scryptr

You can mine zec at zcash.nicehash.com.

Use nheqminer_zcash and your zec addy as username.

no way to see the earning there, also what is the threshold?

From the starting page, payout on 0.01 zec. Cannot confirm though.

too bad suprenova isn't using this version, 3a, and the speed is slower for nvidia

My nvidia + i5 rig got a nice boost from 3a.

edit: you can now generate zec deposit address in polo, kraken still pending.

The futures are now trading at 0.9BTC per ZEC coin...

https://www.bitmex.com/app/trade/ZECZ16

Soon there is no need for bitmex:

What Zcash pairs will trade on Kraken?

ZEC/XBT, ZEC/EUR, ZEC/USD, ZEC/GBP, ZEC/JPY, ZEC/CAD
Margin: Coming soon - stay tuned for details!

Just as a FYI, Zcash reward buildup is over a month linearly, so mining in the beginning may be next to worthless.

Also Ananatti not sure why you're mining Cryptonight... Lbry and specifically Ethereum (especially with duel mining) is earning more.

This is crypto, everything is possible. As long as people are queuing to buy heavily overprized cloudmining contracts it is really hard to predict what the market price for zec will be.

Cryptonight is an option for amd, not for nvidia. It was just an example of an algo which obviously is hardware limited on 60-70% tdp on nvidia, otherwise someone would have made faster miner at this point. I hope equihash isn't similar.
969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: October 27, 2016, 11:08:06 PM
this mean that the speed should be like 50 for a 1070 at the very least

Not really. Most of the time is used to wait for the memory reads to finish. Zcash could be good in duial mining with another coin.
CPU 3770 make 10

You are doing something wrong, even my ivy bridge i7 laptop does 8 with -t 2. Any cpu with avx support matches nvidia gpu performance on zcash today, don't know about tomorrow.

Will this algo be like cryptonight for nvidia? I mean after 30 months it still runs at tdp of 60-70% hardware limited.

CURRENTLY MINING CRYPTONIGHT AND ZCASH--

I am currently mining Zcash in my Win 7 x64 computer, and CryptoNight with my 750ti rig.  The NiceHash binary conveniently miines with both CPU and a CUDA GPU concurrently.  For me, it means that I switched my Win 7 box from CryptoNight to Zcash; and I was mining CryptoNight with both my i7 2600 CPU and my 980ti.

If Zcash does not yield as much BTC as CryptoNight, I am switching back.  The NiceHash "nheqminer.exe" binary does run in a single console window, mining on CPU and GPU at the same time.  Convenient!   There is much less lag than when mining CryptoNight, also.      --scryptr

Agree with that, nheqminer is a masterpiece already.

750ti must be doing pretty well, not bad for a 1000 days old low budjet gpu...

But will we ever see a day when 900 or 1000 series nvidia is tdp limited when mining equihash?

Testing on W7 and 4 x 970, looks like it needs some CPU with this setup. Maxes one core on i5 hashwell @4.4GH, give it two cores and it uses 40-50% on both of them.

sols 17-21 depending on settings, cards with elpida doing better than samsung. TDP in 60-70% range.

So there never was an easy way to make money? I invested a lot? Scam???

All algos are in the shitter right now...

Nonono, I invested a lot.

Bios mod for msi 1070 anyone?
973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Zcash GPU miner on: October 22, 2016, 11:49:39 PM
No help, I hate this community. Forget it, I found a way to earn some serious cpu+gpu zcash anyway.

No need to hate. You can mine etherum and get  $1 a card. $100 a day is pretty good.
$500 with the sp-mod zcoin private with the same hardware and power..

but why should I share it?

I was thinking 0.5 BTC per copy and only 10 sales..

So there never was an easy way to make money? I invested a lot? Scam???

So you are telling me those 50 x 470 and 50 x 1070 earn me no coins???

I hate this. This is a scam. How to solomine eth cheap? Anyone?

What am I doing wrong???
976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Zcash GPU miner on: October 22, 2016, 10:45:56 PM
Nonono you are wrong.

cpu+gpu gives you huge boost when mining zcash.
977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Zcash GPU miner on: October 22, 2016, 10:36:05 PM
Zcash cpu+gpu miner is the next BIG thing. Money flowing in from doors and windows.
978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Zcash GPU miner on: October 22, 2016, 06:49:55 PM
how many coins per days with your setup?

Huh

Ivy bridge laptop does ~2.5 with nicehashminer beta.
979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Most profit coins today on: October 22, 2016, 02:03:12 PM
When bidders went crazy 1GH of quark paid more than 1 BTC/ day @nicehash though I must say BTC was only about 240 back then. Best earners learned some china (-:

After those couple of months came eth launch. Q4 of 2015 was the desperate season for miners, when eth was dumped to $0.50 one really needed balls of steel to mine and hold. Some lonely gems here and there like spr nethash dropping below 100MH. Q1 of 2016... well most of you know what happened, gold rush vol 3.

edit: and to be on topic,

970 2.375€/ day
390 3.160€/ day
295 0.000€/day

980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Most profit coins today on: October 22, 2016, 06:27:54 AM
JPC was nvidia coin, also on SAK nvidia had advantage with opensource miner.

ETH was completely different story then, it was all amd. 7970 made almost as much as 3 x 750ti back in august 2015.

Slowest days amd earning was negative and 750ti earned about 20cents/ day.
