961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino bonus is it worth it? on: December 22, 2022, 11:27:20 PM
If we see the bonus requirement as quite easy or with a bit of effort, we can possibly achieve it, then it's not wrong to give it a try.

But remember that since it's a marketing strategy, expect that we might end up depositing more money just to reach the requirements.

Sometimes players become lazy in the middle of completing the said requirements and ended up giving up.
962  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: December 22, 2022, 11:25:02 PM
Alright, anyone with a wild guess?

Who's the other fighter that has a chance to face Errol Spence next if Thurman won't be his next opponent?

I'm not talking about boxers that you preferred but those boxers who are already on Spence's list, if there are any, or currently in the rumor.

Not sure if only Thurman was being considered.
963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why there are no cool games on: December 22, 2022, 11:21:35 PM
That's not cool for me as I'm not that good at that game. I will just risk my money for nothing there if the series of betting will be a prize pool and winner take all because for sure, professional players will join the tournament.

Not with the prize pool but if the system will be like on 8-ball mini clip where you will find a random opponent, that's good as we will have a chance to face a player with just the same skill as us and if the matchmaking is based on winning rate, we will not end up facing GODS.
964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 22, 2022, 11:19:05 PM
Looks like there's no Bay Area Dragon bettors here.... am I right? hehe.

Also find this weird because on papers, the Dragons is a talented team with Nicholson leading the charge for them, even though the Kings have beaten the Dragons in the elimination, it is not the gage (at least for me) that this series is in favor of Ginebra. We all knew that a series is very different from a single game in the elimination as in the series they can make some adjustments on the succeeding games.

Anyways, i will update this post if ever i have already decided to bet for the Dragons.

Because the pressure is not the same in NBA betting where we relying not just on being a FAN but also looking at the capability of a team to win.

Here in Dragons vs Gin Kings, we are disregarding the dominant performance of Dragons because as Pinoy, we like to support our own.

I also think that the Dragons have a better edge compared to the Kings but I can't bet on them because I want to support our Pinoy team. Even on per-game betting, I can't see myself putting a bet on Dragons.
965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: December 22, 2022, 11:14:23 PM
This is an embarassing exhibition fight for Manny in my opinion. Nevermind that he always show his A-Game everytimr he boxes, but the fact of the matter is that an elite boxer with so many titles and belts under his wing is so agreeing to fight an obscure YouTuber let alone someone who doesn't have boxing experience prior is what made the fans just throw a thumbs down on this one. At least with Jake and Mayweather we can accept that. The fact that Jake is a very successful star and influencer, with boxing experience to boot is what made the fight fun for the viewers. Manny vs. DK Yoo just looked like a one-sided after-school meet-me-behind-the-school battle.

Compare to Jake vs Mayweather, that's a pure exhibition match with no charity involved or something.

This exhibition fight between Pacquiao and DK Yoo does have a good purpose and you can search for where they will share part of their money.

As long as Manny will be involved in exhibition matches for a good reason and not just entertainment, should be no problem with that.
966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: December 19, 2022, 11:41:03 PM
That's so true. It's already in his heart that he wants to help people and that's why he's got into politics and won high positions like being the senator but in his journey to the presidency, he's not just ready for it or people know that it's not really for him.
He can still help even if not in those positions but I understand the reach that he can do by having those positions. I'm sure that many have seen the dirtiest politics but having a person like him in a government position still gives the idea that there's still some hope. I'm not really a supporter of him in politics but I appreciate what he does out of his good heart.

Disagree about what you said that he got into politics because he wants to help poor people.

It's because someone around his circle of known personalities told him to do so. When he ran first in politics, the current General Santos City Representative is doing well that's why he lose that election.

He can help people without the need of joining politics. It's just that as I mentioned, someone told him to consider doing that.

This fight or exhibition is over which i do see that it is really just right that there should be no discussions further more in related to this.

Agree with. The thread should now be locked.
967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Solution to Address the Problem of Gambling in Australia. on: December 19, 2022, 11:38:26 PM
Removing credit cards on payment options will have more impact as a solution for prevention of problematic gambling than the challenge mentioned. Also, it will give other payment options to be added on traditional casino, well, crypto has a huge chance to be implemented as well.

In the first place, I don't understand why gambling platforms allow the use of credit cards on their platform. That's clear greedy on their part and most casinos globally don't even accept credit card payments for obvious reasons.

Fortunately, some credit card providers declined any gambling-related transactions and that's a good step toward gambling addiction.

But believe me, gambling problems will always be raised even without the use of credit cards.

Remember that not all own a credit card but still end up worst.
968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 19, 2022, 11:34:32 PM
I'm not impressed with how they played, yes they won the game but Wizards are going to be the worst team this season as they are in a cold losing streak, currently at 10. Lakers has to show that they dominate a weak team while stay competitive against great teams, that's the only way they will be back in the playoff spot.

There might be some flaws in that game committed by the Lakers including that Lakers' last play where Lebron almost lose the ball but eventually recovered it and dish it to Bryant for a smooth dunk that gives them a lead. If that mistake happened, Lebron will surely get criticized even if he has a monster performance in that game.

Even that Lakers' win is not impressive to you, what matters here is they have won.

In today's NBA, you can't expect the supposed dominating teams to have always smooth wins against the underdogs.
969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cock fight game on: December 19, 2022, 11:29:59 PM
Each country does have their own culture when it comes to some aspects which it might really be looking bad into most peoples eyes but eventually these things are something turns out to be traditional.

Lets just respect on whats other views and activities in related to gambling. It might not really be that looking good or something in correlates with animal cruelty but since this do involves gamefowl
which are really that easy to breed and easy to be produced or something then it wont really be that much an issue.
-cut-
I disagree with this point of view strongly. I won't be brushing cruelty against animals under the mat because it's cultural thing. There are many things that you don't have to respect just because they are based on old ways. Many people in these countries don't respect them either. Some of these laws preventing animal cruelty would move forward faster when there would be a public outcry and these governments decide to step in as they care about their optics and tourism. Some injustices need to be talked about or otherwise they won't ever change.

Then what's your solution to stop all this mess? Can you do something to stop the cultural activities that are legal in a country?

Don't act like that as in a country where cock fight is legal and many people support it, it will just continue.

Rather than stress yourself on how to stop it, you can just easily and simply ignore it.
970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 19, 2022, 11:27:12 PM
Maybe that win against the Dragons gives SMB more confidence in their next game. Actually, they can really win against the Dragons as we see way back in their Game 1 but just lack of fuel to seal that win. We will see next game if SMB can force a deciding game next and put the Dragons on verge of elimination.

On the other hand, though, Dragons will surely do anything to make sure that SMB won't bounce back anymore. Seeing them lose twice in a row will be their first time if SMB will manage to beat them again. A blow-by-blow situation next game that we can expect to witness.
971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is The Gambling Industry Part Of The Domino Effect That Happens In The Market on: December 19, 2022, 11:16:54 PM
You are talking shit honestly, gambling is the last hope of a man? If you are really that desperate and taking up some suicidal movement and decision then you would really be coming up with this idea but eventually you are really that making situations gets more worst.

If you looked at reality, that's the situation of other people, relying on gambling as their last hope. That's even the reason why people suffer financial crises because they think by gambling, they will able to make more money in the process which turned out bad.

As the result, they ended up broke and now part of those become a victim because of gambling.

Its true that there are lots who are really that making gambling as their main source of income which i dont know where the hell they do come up with those ideas.

It's because you don't have the capability to do it

There are a lot of professional gamblers that treat gambling as their career making it their source of income.
972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are we ever going to see this on gambling platforms some day. on: December 19, 2022, 11:10:06 PM
Is there any fighting game like Mortal Kombat where you challenge gamers around the world taking a bet?

Not possible or maybe considered. The fact is the market is too small for that kind of game.

Who else will gamble on those? Only those players who well know the game unlike in traditional online casino games where even a passerby or new one can play right away without learning the game mechanics. But maybe who knows in the future but don't hope for that.

It's possible if you will organize a competition like that. You can start with social media thru Facebook groups and create awareness there.
AFAIK, there are some gambling platforms where you can bet on gaming events like that however like what you've said, the market is too small for those events which is why it's rare to find one these days and bets are mostly limited to certain amount only as only a few bettors are gambling on those events. Other than Mortal Kombat, I've seen some gambling platform that offers other games like Tekken and Street Fighter.

About gambling as a player on these games, I don't think there are some other than those private games that involves bet to whosever going to win on their match but in official gambling platforms, I have not seen such a thing.

OP is not talking about an actual event where we can place a bet for that. E-sports are always listed on a sports betting site.

It is about the competition directly in the gambling platforms where players can face each other which I doubt there is right now, especially on that kind of games like Mortal Kombat or any related games.

There are good suggestions from others that OP can create its own tournament about that game.
973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slow down if you want to recover your losses on: December 19, 2022, 10:06:06 PM
Technique to overcome losses? Is that really possible? Are you even sure that you really overcome your losses on the fact that we always experienced losing compared to winnings? Not because we won on that day, it means we already recover our losses.

Don't aim on recovering your losses as that was impossible unless you have won big jackpot money.

What we must maintain is to keep our winnings more regularly to happened compared to losing.
974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why every casino got bad habits? on: December 18, 2022, 11:43:40 PM
If you have a look at the scam accusation section, you will find that no casino has a good reputation there. Each and every casino which has their ANN thread here, has at least one complaint against them; sometimes confiscated funds, delayed withdrawal, not paying the winning, freezing account etc. Why this is the principal of all the casinos? Why they can't operate without having any issues? They always do this shit; who knows what has been done with people who don't know how to deal with such a casino. Can you show me a thread that never had any reputation issues on this forum?

Nothing wrong about having an accusation as long as the problem is being solved by the said casinos.

I don't know if there's a gambling site that doesn't face any issues. In any operations, expect that there will be some issues on the way.

But if those casinos were able to settle and clear the issues smoothly, then that's a important thing there.
Issues arise everywhere. The goodness is how the team takes the accusations and finds the solution. Just because the casino had got accusations we can't term them with negative statements. To see a casino without accusations is really impossible. To operate without issues will be the platform developed in a decentralised way. Such thing isn't possible with gambling platforms.

That's correct and I agree with it. It's impossible to expect that no issues will be raised on any gambling platform regardless of its current state and reputation.

Accusations are part of the developing casinos and it's even a good reference for others if they saw how gambling sites are addressing the issues.

Even in a decentralized way, expect that there will be flaws and issues, much even worst should I say.
975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are we ever going to see this on gambling platforms some day. on: December 18, 2022, 11:39:34 PM
Yes, official listed matches should remain coming from tournaments because they are official and officiated by the brands and organizers which makes it genuine.

Although there could be some players that may try to cheat but it's very minimal and isolated.

But if it's just the PVP thing and they'll organize it inside their casino and platform, that might even put stain to their reputation if some cheats and tricks being done.

I am sure casino will do their job in preventing cheats during pvp matches.  There is third-party software is installed in online games to prevent players from cheating and casino can make use of that.

Besides, I believe the pvp match is recorded and that seeds can be used to detect abnormalities of the game.  This is kinda challenging but I believe casinos can deliver a fair PVP gambling fight if they wanted to.

But that's not a casino game. That competition might only be possible to see in a seasonal tournament.

Also, another work and task if casinos will push that kind of game to be included on their platform.

The usual gambling platforms will stick to casino games and sports betting only.

PVP related-matches like Mortal Kombat will have their own gambling platform.

PBA for sure, will earn a lot of money. The game between SMB and Bay Area is more like the finals. They both have solid selections
that can spark and bring real entertainment to the fans.

If you noticed the live audience on that Game, others even commented that "are they still in a bubble"? haha.

But with SMB extending the series, and they will be on the second game on Wednesday, expect more fans to attend the live game as more fans will also watch the Manila Clasico on the first game where most BGSM fans are waiting to seal the series on that day.

MOA Arena is the venue and expects a full audience there.
977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cock fight game on: December 18, 2022, 11:30:26 PM
As you said, these kind of traditions where animals are involved in such games are not that easy to eliminate because it's already part of that specific county's tradition, I know for a fact that these people who indulge in such games do know that chickens are living things but despite of that fact, they still chose to raise some of these chickens to prepare them for a fight when they grow older.

Not all chickens are designed for farming or poultry raising. Those fighting chickens do have a breed and can't be compared to the capability of those in the poultry. In other words, these fighting chickens are useless when raised as poultry for food or egg production purposes, and as a result, they are used in cockfighting.

People should just accept that these games will continue to exist especially in those countries that allow the operation of this.

As long as the operations are running legally, that's fine. Hunt down those running illegally as they are not contributing to the revenue of the country.

Devin booker with 58! points, damn man. That dude is a great scorer, a pure scorer at that and he definitely increases is arsenal a lot as well he is scoring all kinds of ways.

Great production and was a scoring machine but that were because his teammates just allowed him to take those shots as they are doing some rally.

Except for the last part of the last quarter, Booker shot well and shot with high percentage. He could have passed 60 but he didn't spend the last part of the game very well. Overall Phoenix was very good and it's a great job to make such a comeback. Late in the game, Chris Paul took charge and scored important points. The last minutes were like a game of chess with free throws and timeouts. It was one of the best matches of Booker's career. Phoenix needed a win like this. Losing 5 games in a row is not something expected from this team, luckily they started to catch a new series.

On the other hand The Pelicans are playing above expectations. It looks like they will end this season in a good place. Zion Williamson and CJ McCollum are performing very well, but I think there should be a few more important players in the rotation. If they can make a nice trade, they'll be more assertive.

Devin Booker pointed out in the post-game interview the contribution that his teammates did to win that game. Those open screens to give him or Chris Paul an opened shot deserves the credit. That was a tough comeback and what the Suns did is to focus on their main scorer and just allow him to freely take those shots while they are trying to give him an open space away from his defenders.

I smell a good rivalry with these 2 teams. Hope to see them facing each other in the playoffs. That will be a good series match.
