OP should say 7970 - not 7950 - sorry about that

Decided to auction it - seems a waste - it can still mine - maybe someone can use it

963  Economy / Auctions / XFX RADEON 7970 925M 3GB - 1 fan not spinning - proper auction - no reserve on: July 09, 2013, 09:49:33 PM
I have decided to auction to the highest bidder 1 XFX 7950 which has only one fan spinning correctly.

Background to the problem is here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=250705.msg2662286#msg2662286

Card in question is here:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B006VX52Q2/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Auction ends exactly 3 days from the times tamp of this post to the highest bidder.

No reserve, no starting price, buyer pays postage which will be calculated according to your location (I'm based in UK).

Card is hashing at 660MH/s and running at 78 degrees C - before one of the fans started failing it was running at 72 degrees C.

I have trusted feedback and happy to use escrow if you pay fee.

Reason for the sale is that I have recently bought a pile of USB miners and want to reduce my farm to a single PC to reduce electricity costs.

Happy bidding!

Update:

Refund came through from amazon so now I'm left with a semi working card - XFX state they don't offer manufacturers warranty (cos they sell them so cheap) and besides I have already been refunded - any ideas what to do with this card that still works with one fan?

The price is about to move up I think - slowly but surely - we haven't seen it this low since it went to $280 then crashed. We seen a steady climb since then, now another mini crash - now it will climb again. So for $77 - buy a few if you can...

Thanks, I have tweaked the code https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=57148.msg2574431#msg2574431 - auto page refresh now works with every browser I tried, Chrome, FF, IE, Safari, Opera.

[EDIT] works now that you have set the xss header - we still needed that...
This is awesome. Could you maybe add total pool hashrate and round shares to the page?

Why not - good idea - I'll update here when it's ready

No worries buddy, in all future sales threads I create I will link this thread there to prevent anyone from not reading the "evidence" first. Let others decide.

After the insults you pm'd me we are definitely not 'buddies' - buddy
