961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 ChronoBank ICO 😍 11 days left! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 on: February 04, 2017, 05:35:35 AM
11 days left for this ICO, I hope we see increase in funding which is common to most ICOs has it winding down. The team has conducted themselves right and I believe the targeted market is there for taking
962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [IPO LIVE] Ascendancy:Modular Decentralized App Framework IPO ENDS:10 March 2017 on: February 04, 2017, 05:31:04 AM
Another ICO scam, I don't know how the developer pull this out, I saw yesterday that the ICO funds has hit 20BTC but thee escrows said they only have 7BTC with them. Good that the identity of the scammer has been Identified unlike Decloud scammer that runs away with 200BTC
963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TRST] [TOKEN SALE] WeTrust.io SAVINGS & INSURANCE PLATFORM on: February 04, 2017, 05:27:51 AM
I read your Whitepaper yesterday, what I can understand from it is that you want to create a platform where a group of people can come together a create a ROSCA (saving scheme is my part of the world). I don't understand how your token will increase in value also the issue of trust, how is this going to be enforced, I have BTC on BTCjam.com that has not been refunded because the borrower run away with the borrowed money
964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Qtum] UTXO based POS Smart Contract Platform|On Coindesk & Bitcoinmagazine on: January 30, 2017, 06:27:51 AM

I may be wrong but I think both campaigns are now full and no longer accepting participants.  Might want to check with campaign manager to confirm. Translations might still be available though if the language hasn't been translated yet.  Good luck.
There was also another campaign by Qtum and that was the suggestion and advise campaign. That was a great idea by the team but that campaign is now closed because I think they have collected enough suggestions from the members of this forum. I hope they will announce some more bounties in the coming future.

The Qtum project should consider using the viral exchange to promote their project.  TVE has thousands of members and would get more retweets than the current Twitter campaign which only has a couple hundred people.  Using TVE would also be much easier and not require the campaign manager to verify each retweet/tweet.

I think people overestimate the worth and value one can get on TVE, there is bug on the Facebook and Google+ bounty link and this has not been resolved for sometime, though it tries to reduce cheat accounts but I've people that have more than one account on TVE, another thing is the reach.  There is no ICO campaign on TVE that has successfully raise 2000BTC.

ICONOMI team proved that you can run a successful campaign yourself if you are well organized. Stop selling this TVE idea as if it is waterproof
965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Mentrio - ETH Crowdfunding Project - 3rd day running $18,833 Raised on: January 30, 2017, 06:13:02 AM
The OP negative trust is not good for this project, is there a way to proof the amount of funding received so far.

I just notice that the thread is just 3 day old, becareful this doesn't look right
966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BURST vs STORJ on: January 30, 2017, 06:03:01 AM
Storj is far far ahead of BURST in terms of development, BURST is just a free money to mining with no usecase, STORJ has active development team and real world use case, only project that is close to Storj is SIACOIN
967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I had egaas but I do not know where I have to sell? on: January 30, 2017, 05:59:26 AM
does anyone know any of you know where I have to sell egaas or may egaas there is no market, because after I finished ico not get anymore about egaas

yes please share if anyone knows?

fail ico, and you will not to do anything with your coin until it can get a list on the exchange site. And honestly, it looks like a consolation coin for advertising participant. See the result of Reviews their project it is too far from their minimum threshold.

Just be patience fella.

I won't call it a failed ICO yet because I received newsletter from the team, I know the communication need to be improved upon.

Egaas is not yet listed in exchanges and this is not wrong, Decent would be released for trading around June, does that make it a scam
968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins under 70K Valuation on: January 30, 2017, 05:52:26 AM
What do you mean by under 70k? In dollars or bitcoins? If you mean under 70k dollars then I would advice you to avoid them. They are dead projects that are not worth your time and money. If you want to look for projects with small market capitalization but are active go to Coin Gecko.

He must be one of these whales looking to pump shitcoin from 70k marketcap to 700kmarketcap. I don't think I know any project with that low valuation and still have active development behind it.
969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What determines the price of Altcoins? on: January 30, 2017, 05:49:55 AM
There is no real factors that determines the price of Altcoins, it is what the market is willing to pay for it though some things like good news, new update, partnership etc may influence in price. Another thing is the whale pumping the price to unrealistic price
970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Portfolio Discussion on: January 25, 2017, 10:59:22 AM
Since most altcoins has proven they can't hold their own when BTC price rally up, I have decided to put 20% of my investment portfolio perpetually in BTC, I have 40% of my BTC investment reserved for ICOs, and the remaining in tether incase of significant drop in BTC price, like the PBOC news
971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What is a PascalCoin and how is Poloniex scamming you? on: January 25, 2017, 10:53:00 AM
What is a PascalCoin and how is Poloniex scamming you? You are the one asking question, you are the one answering it. If you know the answer why ask.

I don't know why people always blame exchange for pump in price. What about those buying the coins at that price. This is a free market if you think there is value in something, you buy it.

What exchanges do is to expose your tokens to potential buyers and since Poloniex is the biggest exchange for Altcoins there will be higher demand for such token. We all remember Zcash madness when 1Zcash token was trading for 300BTC.

Why some people think the price of BTC should be $10,000, some people think otherwise.
972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: A few alts climbing together? on: January 25, 2017, 10:43:07 AM
I'm still learning alt analysis. Your opinions please.

Many alts seem to be moving together, bottoming out. The strongest ones I see are ETH DASH REP. Other good ones seem to be ETC XMR MAID STEEM FCT XLM LSK.

Your thoughts? Since they are all moving together, which one(s) do you pick?

I think most of this coins have had their time and are in price decline, that is a normal trand in the life of most Altcoins. I will pick Factom because of no inflation and low coins volume, also I like the technology and has got attention from homeland security and Bill Gate foundation
973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NXT coin on: January 25, 2017, 10:39:38 AM
I always wonder if these kind of topics are created by bots or are these real people asking this kind of stuff ? :/

I believe is real people, because you are more knowledgeable than some people in one area don't put everyone in your level. I have benefited from topics like this before and it helps in decision making concerning some project
974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [AMP] Synereo Speculation on: January 25, 2017, 10:37:03 AM
profitgenerator212, it seems you are the only one on this thread plus the FUDsters, I like you determination but it seems to me you are either a Synereo badholder or you are working for the team. Let the team deliver on their promise, once investors see progress the price will move up.
975  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Would you open a Bitcoin account at your local bank? on: January 19, 2017, 04:54:37 AM
The result of the poll shows for itself, over 60% say NO, with bank nothing is free, what they will be looking for is to have total control of your Bitcoin also the KYC and AML policy will make it difficult to do some transactions
976  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why you should Buy bitcoin now on: January 19, 2017, 04:49:19 AM
If the bank story is true then we will see Bitcoin above $2000 soon because these banks will be buying up Bitcoin since it is the most secured blockchain network so far and some of them may even decide to fork it.
977  Economy / Speculation / Re: $200 is on the way on: January 19, 2017, 04:42:09 AM
Maybe  he meant $2000, even at $700 investors will rush to drag it with joy, the era of BTC below $500 is gone unless something significant happen to the network.
978  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taxation on the alts on: January 19, 2017, 04:39:03 AM
Hey

How do you calculate taxes on alt-coins bought and sold with Bitcoin? For example if i bought 10 bitcoins worth of Monero, and monero rose 10% and i decides to sell for that extra bitcoin, how does that become taxed? Furthermore if/when i decide to sell the 11 bitcoin i now have for fiat, how might that be taxed? Thank you in advance.

If you're talking about the trading fees and all of it depends on the exchange agreement. If the question is refer into the institutional tax and there is no tax for your money, dude. It's simple.

I believe he is talking about tax, I know someone paying tax on his Altcoins and BTC trade income, I don't know how he did his calculation, but the reason he gave is that his brother once had problem with government and he does not want to pass through that ordeal himself
979  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell or wait? on: January 19, 2017, 04:34:32 AM
It all depends on your strategy, if you are an investors hold your BTC, the price will still test $1000 soon and even surpass it, but if you are a swing trader you need to know when to cut your loss when the price dropped because some people make their money shorting BTC
980  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you do it? on: January 19, 2017, 04:30:58 AM
I don't think this is an issue, all you need is to familiarize yourself with the financial laws guiding Money laundering, in my country anything above $5000 your account will be flagged. If you don't understand the laws you can even consult a financial adviser, he will shed more light on it and you will have your way around it.
