961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why the martingale system sucks! (doubling down on losses) on: July 18, 2019, 10:50:37 AM
Martingale isn't a winning strategy, it is one of the way where you get the increased chance of recovery. In simple terms it increases the probability of winning and the same isn't assured. A huge bank roll is a must and the same makes it quite risky, this seems to be the true reason where gamblers face loss applying the martingale state strategy when experiencing consecutive losses.
962  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sending BTC from Gambling Site to Binance? on: July 18, 2019, 10:13:13 AM
Whatever transaction you make happens between two bitcoin addresses. One is the sender address and the next one is the receiver address. Whether it is taking place between two individuals or this is taking place between individual and a gambling website or between exchange and gambling website doesn't matter. All that need to be clear is double checking of the wallet address.
963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You cannot win in gambling on: July 16, 2019, 10:01:07 PM
Prioritize gambling as the way to have fun or as a way to spend what's been allocated for entertainment from the budget. This will let the user spend it without any frustration or fear in a relaxed manner. This is how gambling needs to be, this way gambling is good and increases the chance of winning. In reality it is hard to be done, maybe one in hundred consider gambling in such a way while majority give importance as a source of income.
964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Horse racing books on: July 12, 2019, 10:04:36 AM
I haven't come across any gambling sites providing access for horse racing other than directbet which isn't available anymore for our betting needs. Looking at the image it is clear about horse racing to be one among the top support provided game of directbet. Other than this there might be gambling sites for horse racing which won't be accepting cryptocurrencies.
965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on an insect fight? on: July 12, 2019, 07:43:27 AM
I have never heard of or seen insect fight, so i have no idea about it. I only know about cock fight and it is a traditional one. Actually, I am against animal cruelty, so not very excited about it.

Cock fight happens in our country too but now hardly seen so this is what I have even heard of and might be some countries could have this insect fight and they would be placing their bets on for those games it seems. I stay away from such bets.

I have come across cock fights quite often, betting access is available offline. In my locality I have come across cock fights were the betting amount stands as high as $1000. Insect fights weren't that common in my region, those were some traditional games that were found mostly in the village region and were conducted on some traditional occasions.
966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: July 12, 2019, 07:21:47 AM
Yesterday the game was different from the regular game, because Australia played as England and England played the game of Australia team. England breaking a twenty seven year unbeaten record reaching the world cup finals have made the country go full on celebration. I expect a good game in the final, and it should not go as a one sided game as the semi finals between Australia and England.
967  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Are Women Slowly Leaning On To Crypto Trade? on: July 11, 2019, 11:50:05 PM
Women has lot many family responsibility and they keep them focused on activities for personal grooming and money management for family needs. This is the scenario with third world countries, apart from this they look for a day job that pays little amount that could help them financially. This is what the situation of women in third world countries years back.

Now women are much adoptive to technology and has been getting to learn more about the technology. This has made them identify what they're passionate about and follow the same. This seems to be the slow learning of low number of women into the cryptocurrency network. Once they find it good they're the one who are highly dedicative than men in my opinion.
968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crime Effect of Gambling - Your thoughts! on: July 11, 2019, 11:06:29 PM
I recently participated in a debate on debatepedia and this particular one brought about a huge argument and I was wondering how that argument will play out here and hoping to view your thoughts on this.

Actually, the bone of content here is that does gambling cause an increase in various kinds of related criminal activities? Few examples of the major points raised were;

Quote
Casinos are often associated with criminal activity. Drug dealers and prostitutes operate near casinos – they know that there are a large number of potential clients in the area. Casinos can therefore be devastating to neighborhoods.

Quote
The existence of criminals does not make nearby businesses (including casinos) immoral. It is perverse to punish people who just want to gamble (and not take drugs or use prostitutes) by taking away their chance to do so.

For me personally, I believe immoral activities are certainly based on each individual and it does not have anything to do with gambling. Nevertheless, from some of the further research that I made, I got to understand that, these things mentioned are very much applicable in most casinos; drug dealings, prostitution and even some casinos where the owners are into some shady stuffs. Well, just want to get to know what you guys think about this. Do you think Casino is like a hiding place for perpetrators of crime or casino on its own, ushers in a huge level of immoral activities by default?
We have the same point of view. A certain thing will become immoral once you associate it as an immoral. Just like drinking of alcohol, they say that drinking alcohol is bad and immoral but why do priest drink alcohol during their mass? I don't condemn the church. I just want to point out that everything that is too much is bane. Drink moderately as well as gamble moderately.
Just because priest use wine during the mass it doesn't mean it is immoral. First of all know the difference between a drug and wine. The wine that's been used in churches were alcohol free, you need to be clear in ancient times wine was being used with their food. The same is being portrayed, just because Bible saying about wine or prostitution doesn't mean it encourages such stuffs. Don't mix religion with some activities and state it is immoral.
969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Psychological Technique - Play without Pressure on: July 04, 2019, 11:33:53 PM
But players do not always have the same kind of motives as yours. Some are really doing the strategy 2, for the purpose of doubling or tripling their money and from this comes disappointment and stress. It is indeed good to set aside a certain amount of money that you are willing to lose but some gamblers believe that they should never think of losing but always of wining because they say it is bad luck to think about it so it is really difficult to adopt  that kind of mindset in strategy 1.
Yes. I have known lot of gamblers who remained to be very positive and hopeful that they will really end up gambling very profitable to the extent of gambling all their money available. But this is really a wrong idea knowing that they could lose even their own savings if they cannot control themselves. It's better to gamble knowing you are there for fun and not just for profits alone.
Being positive on gambling is not at all a good decision. When you consider the people who have been positive and the wins on gambling, what you'll come to know is a very small percentage of people have won while majority have lost their hard earnings. People who have funds after their life needs can think of gambling as fun or entertainment while majority go for money which can't be changed.
970  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Youtube bitcoin advertisements everywhere. on: July 03, 2019, 11:17:59 PM
Advertisement is really effective because we know youtube have billions of user right now. They have big impact if most of the people are watch the advertisement of the bitcoin . I sometimes only see ads about the bitcoin because I saw different topics and not related to the bitcoin. We need more exposure in the youtube to gain more user and investors.
If you ask me whether there is a need to advertise bitcoin, I'll surely stand against it. There is no need of any kind of advertising. Till now from its existence bitcoin has got its promotion done through word of mouth and the same has reached such a large user base and gave reached big barriers. When that is possible I believe the growth is on its potential that makes people spread it and not the advertisements that spread it.
971  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anything can be bought by Bitcoin? on: July 03, 2019, 10:48:31 PM
We've got increased access to different services as well on stores. This shows the growth of bitcoin, as a currency similar to the traditional fiat. This is something that could cause a mass adoption over the days. By the year 2013 a couple traveled few countries just using bitcoin on all the needs. In an article they described the difficulties faced, but if the same people travel today they'll find this to be an easy task.
972  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is a fake bit coin bull run don't fall for it on: July 02, 2019, 11:40:54 PM
Nope, the bull run isn't fake. Crash or decreased is really happening even in bull run because traders are taking profit. You can't determined the bull run if it's fake or not just by seeing the altcoins price movement. Reason why the alts didn't go up even if the btc fall a bit is simply because they are trading in btc/usd.
If the recent bull market is a manipulation from the whales then we should have experienced large scale fluctuations which will be taken as an opportunity by the whales to profit out of it. As of now what we see is the real growth, Op has stated that there is no big growth with altcoins which makes it a fake bull trend which is not the right way to decide the bull run.
973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Card Game launch by Credits developers on: July 02, 2019, 11:27:01 PM
That's something new to the gambling network, how this gonna function and the fairness can be known on spending some time on the dApp. As of now from the article I find this to be a unique game that hasn't come to usage earlier. Credits has got its own smart contract platform and the game being on their own platform seems to be easy accessible.
974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHICH COINS TO BUY FOR LONGTERM on: July 02, 2019, 11:08:49 PM
More users have preferred BNB and BTT for some reason. Both has good trading support and BTT have got a usecase behind it making the market without much volatility. I personally prefer buying eos, omisego, lisk, ethereum classic and more other altcoins which have almost some similarity in the growth pattern. These will get assured return in the long term.
975  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Netflix is gonna film documentary about crypto on: July 02, 2019, 10:49:12 PM
Bitcoin is gaining more importance around the globe through the awareness through different sources. The recent launch of libra coin details from facebook has made people know much about cryptocurrencies. I strongly believe more people who haven't known much about cryptocurrency have begun to use cryptocurrency then onwards.

This way the documentaries related to bitcoin will also give users the understanding and the way to use it for good. The documentary should not portray more about the negative incidents which might make the mind hesitant to get into cryptocurrency usage.
976  Economy / Speculation / Re: What. Bitcoin price dropped to 24€/BTC on: July 02, 2019, 10:37:31 PM
it is possible that they do it intentionally to wake some people up and cause FOMO Cheesy every now and then (possibly somewhere around 6 months mark) these price reporting websites hit a bug or something like that and go crazy like this.
at least this time it seemed like it wasn't their fault as cloudflare screwed the entire internet!
That's a big change in the price, people easily will fall into FOMO and might open trades. Every website was getting the error page due to cloudare, but how the visual change happens through the cloudflare. Anyhow if someone has succeeded in making a buy at this point seems extremely luckiest.
977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does convince people to enjoy gambling is a wrong idea? on: July 01, 2019, 09:40:26 PM
Is totally wrong to convince someone that something is good.
For you it might be enjoyful but this doesn't mean that it is for other people as well. And apart from that, Gambling is a risky and "expensive" way of entertainment, thus it is not for everyone.
When someone is interested on it for some reason, and further if we're explaining them all about the possible risks then it isn't wrong. If we're not explaining about the risks and just insisting to spend time and money on gambling, then it is wrong. I explained to a friend of mine and suggested him give a try and if success is not yours quit it. He spend on sports betting, on the very first betting he lost and quitted.
978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Site Layout Suddenly Changed? on: July 01, 2019, 09:06:39 PM
Yes, don't need to be afraid, it's the legit website
I have to say the first time the layout changed for me I was afraid too  Grin

You have the option buttom to get back to old layout, I prefer
That's a good information, at the same time it is a must to be very cautious. Scammers will try to make use of this as an opportunity to scam the common people with ease. There is some official change from the exchange, scammer will try to use phising sites similar to it and tries to get the details to make an evasion of the funds.
979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB time to buy ? on: July 01, 2019, 08:39:07 PM
I don't find the price of BNB to be good enough to make an investment. On the other hand the price of BNB won't fall drastically at any instance, it has now got turned to be a trusted investment as the exchange backs it and there are more launches getting paired with BNB. This makes the market of BNB move forward undisturbed at any sort of market fluctuations.
980  Economy / Speculation / Re: Relax people. on: July 01, 2019, 08:08:04 PM
It was the thread that has got created when the market price of bitcoin was close to $17, and the discussions were the users getting into selling on panic. Now the market has got relative to the thread that was created years back. What we see is a mild drop in the value which will stabilize, gain momentum and will reach the new ath of the year in the coming months.
