961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is IEO better than ICO? on: January 21, 2020, 02:48:40 PM
We can't find any reliable statistics about ICO's nor for IEO's. When there are no reliable statistics, graphs, we can only take individual
experiences as valid ones. Some people had good experience with ICO's some didn't not. Looking at current situation it's the same with
IEO's.
My experience with ICO's is generally good. I made few mistakes, but overall I am satisfied. IEO's are popular at moment, I participated in
one IEO bounty, and after few months I still wait for results, bounty is over but IEO is ongoing! We will see what will be with that.
962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Stablecoins Promote the Mass Adoption of Cryptocurrencies? on: January 21, 2020, 11:59:09 AM
Simple answer: No.. it won't promote Mass adoption of Cryptocurrency.  Stablecoins removed the hyped of volatility, which in the early phase of a adoption attracts investors.  They removed the the possible profit of the incoming investors thus taking their interest away.  Investors are the first explorer of any ventures, removing their profit means shutting them out.

It's just easier to start with a stable coin, to buy that first with your credit card and only after to exchange those stable coins
for some crypto-currency.
Why do I need to bother 2 steps when I can make a 1 step moves, it even saves me from extra fees.

Stable coin is good for traders, if you wish to avoid certain drops and keep your dollar value intact you
can exchange any coin for a stable coin while the bear market lasts.

Doesn't this method incur losses?

As an investment stable coins will remain stable and bond to certain value, that's why they are not the objects of my interest.
I am interested just in long-term investments that can be very profitable in years to come.

And this is just an indirect way of saying it won't help in Adoption of cryptocurrency.

BitDane I don't use stable coins, from my reading I found out that stable coins have the lowest fees. Some
wallets have options for buying stable coin first, which is easier and that to swap it from the wallet. Now there
are many stable coins!
Trading is a risk! That method can incur losses!
What I am saying that some people use stable coins. If it's used than it helps in adoption. It can't help more
than some top coin, but it contribute to crypto-eco-system.
963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Stablecoins Promote the Mass Adoption of Cryptocurrencies? on: January 21, 2020, 10:32:32 AM
there are many stable coins that already exist such as usdt, BITUSD, SPANDEX.HKD, STABLE.PHP, BEI, PHX and many others. I think that stable coins can be adopted en masse, by making each stable coin represent one country's currency. then it will become a world wide adoption
Stable coins is like adopting into the current centralized system, but actually it's useful since it has its own blockchain and it's also transparent, however, in terms of adoption, it should not only be focus on stable coins as there's a lot of coins in the market.

It's just easier to start with a stable coin, to buy that first with your credit card and only after to exchange those stable coins
for some crypto-currency. Stable coin is good for traders, if you wish to avoid certain drops and keep your dollar value intact you
can exchange any coin for a stable coin while the bear market lasts.
As an investment stable coins will remain stable and bond to certain value, that's why they are not the objects of my interest.
I am interested just in long-term investments that can be very profitable in years to come.
964  Economy / Speculation / Re: Monday Is the Best Day to Buy Bitcoin? on: January 21, 2020, 08:42:04 AM
That doesn't sound bad at all! Buy Bitcoin on Monday before you spent everything you have for that week, first Bitcoin than everything else.
Friday should be a good day for buying Bitcoin too, before the weekend!
This is some fun probably. My salary is on a month basis, after 1th I receive it, and when I take care of everything with part that is left I buy
Bitcoins. I never thought about which day of the week it is!
965  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Hypocrisy Behind Facebook Banning Crypto Ads on: January 20, 2020, 09:02:52 PM
I think it's just a business, Facebook makes money from adds too! Banning crypto-advertising is their move to stop private marketing
from their users. While I had Facebook and crypto-related friends I think everyone advertised something, to be honest it was massively
used by crypto-related users.
Probably they will allow crypto-adds in the future, but they will set up rules and probably who wish advertising on Facebook
will need to go directly to them.

966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it good to talk about big gains? on: January 20, 2020, 05:44:08 PM

My advice is not to brag about your winnings, it is the best way to keep your winnings safe. Safe from the bad people that want to take your winnings. Safe from the friends that want to ask you a little amount. Safe from the relatives or friends that want to ask you for lending them money.
Yeah we should not share about our gains with anyone as no body is that much trust worthy now a day. Some people like talking this is personal life with unknown people but this is not good habit as ' t can make you regret in future so we should not talk to people about how much you are winning and how much you are earning from it being gamblers it’s good to keep somethings secrets

It's not smart to talk about big gains with unknown people. Why not to talk about big gains with your close friends and family?
Only if you keep your gambling activities as a secret.
I win big just couple times in my life and I shared that with all my close friends. I made a dinner at my place, bought everything
and call them to celebrate that. Some of my friends do that too, it's like a rule, every big win should be celebrated at least with some
beer and snacks.
967  Economy / Speculation / Re: Have we been entertained? on: January 20, 2020, 03:30:06 PM
On my study and analysis, I discovered that the bull runs like four years interval, and with this too,if you observe it is planning to confirm my analysis. Now, all the news about baktt advances breaking and all the likes, are they just crypto-drama or arranged news to keep us busy and entertained?
Your statement will be more convincing if you have a specific analysis of what you say. But unfortunately, you make a statement without any evidence so no one here will believe what you said. And me too, this market is unpredictable and prices can go up or down at any time. But this year Bitcoin will be halving so I think we will increase instead of decrease as you think

He didn't share his complete analysis with us, but I understand what he wish to say. I think it's easy to notice how crypto-news
follow some up or down trends, and that is what news do, they report about current events. Higher price rise, or big drop is what
attracts people I think, drama that TIDOVEE talks about.
Killerfrost I don't see nothing about Bitcoin price decreasing. In long-term price of Bitcoin will increase, but in the mean time
price will fluctuate just like until now.
968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do u think about BNB? Worth to buy? on: January 20, 2020, 11:21:44 AM
My suggestion is buy bnb and hold it for sometimes. Because have a good news about bnb. Binance CEO announced they will burn  100,000,000 Bnb. If they do it,  then all holders earn more profit. So buy some coins not more.
 Here is tweet link- https://twitter.com/cz_binance/status/1218511715538587648?s=20

That's a huge announcement, what is CZ up to for this decision?

As long as BNB remains to be on top of the exchange and has community support, I guess this decision will bring a bullish future for BNB
Imagine , the total supply of BNB is only 187,536,713 BNB, so that would only be 87 million circulating BNB and total supply in the market.

It's what they said they will do in the beginning, this is their 10th burn, and second by the size. CZ is making just good decisions for
his exchange and coin, until now he didn't make any mistakes, he is very transparent about his work.
I think that BNB is one of the best possible investments someone can make in crypto-currencies. I am saying that for a while and I
didn't change my mind.
969  Economy / Economics / Re: What if crypto vanishes? on: January 19, 2020, 04:05:12 PM
Then those balances will be stuck overnight if no one can't access it. The market will become frozen for the meanwhile but when it's able again, you must not be surprised with the possible panic selling because of that incident.

Many will start to decide to sell their crypto assets before it vanish completely. This is a kind of scenario that will only happen if the world's internet will be totally shutdown but it's unlikely to be seen, thanks to the great tech behind bitcoin.

There are some scenarios how crypto-currencies can disappear, we can see them in some topics here on forum.
Different types of disasters are mentioned, for me one thing is sure, if it comes to some bad scenario, coins will be
the last thing on our mind, we will think how to survive! We can't eat and breath internet and coins we have on the
internet.
I'm not one of the people who see end of the world and prophecy disasters as possible in some near future.
970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: It is right to come back? on: January 19, 2020, 11:36:04 AM
We all know January always the though months for cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin has just started to rise. I don't know it is real or only an another trap for price fall.

What do you think? Are we ready for rise? And Is it really good time for rise?

its always a good time for rise, isn't it?
and i am always ready.

i also dont care if its a true move or a trap, i am just holding..

Karto we have the same thinking, I don't care is it a trap or not, I am holding! It always nice to see price rising, for the price
I am waiting for we need to have many more rises, and will be happy about each one of them.
I don't care if the price drops later, I plan to buy more anyway, if it drops I will buy with a discount. I never think about leaving
so there is no need for me to think about coming back! I am here to stay and to fill may bags as much as I can.
971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Dex exchanges are safe? on: January 19, 2020, 10:31:48 AM
I think it's much safer to trade in Decentralized this year than two years ago, people are more educated now, on how to trade n Dex and besides they are not likely to get hacked by hackers, because they are not getting huge amount of tradeable coins than when they are going to do it with prominent centralized exchange.

It is safer to trade on decentralized exchanges, you have your coins in your wallet and you have the private keys that opens that
wallet. In centralized exchanges they have your coins because they have the private keys.
I think in the future people will use decentralized exchanges more. Like you say people will learn about what is safer and they will
go where it is safer! We just need more time and more education about these matter, when people learn about it they will know what
is the best for them.
972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit Exchanges, an end to good projects. on: January 18, 2020, 07:31:19 PM
Yes, you are right my friend. Shit exchanges are killing good projects, this is a fault of the project owner! Many projects listed on a normal exchange first, when the community asked about it, they reply big exchange coming on the board! But day over day, the project goes to end badly! Recently people arising their voice against P2PB2B, Vindax, Latoken exchanges, which is very positive! People should stop using those shot exchange, and if any project goes for shit exchange, we should boycott both of them instantly!

One wrong move from the team behind a project can ruin everything. In many discussions on this forum about why projects fail one
thing is common, it's the team that made wrong move with choosing managers, their marketing, and after all choosing an exchange.
I don't think that we can boycott them, we can unite all the people. There are old ones who don't care about that, they tried and
that didn't work, new ones don't believe in anything except how to make fast money.

973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the altcoin market being manipulated in 2020? on: January 18, 2020, 03:31:18 PM
Hello There!  Wink

At one time, I stopped being interested in the altcoin-markets because of the situation there. Famous projects were dropping their bags off to gullible investors to get even more money.

Do you think the situation has changed in the year 2020?  Huh
Is it safe to trade ERC-20 tokens and is it possible to earn something else?

2020 still has a lot of warning sign go check what happens to Bitcoin SV, it was artificially pumped and now it is plummetting, expect something like this to happen along the way as we move to the halving, we should be very careful, there are a lot of plans a lot of shill a lot of hype so be on alert on what is true and what are fakes.

Manipulations in the crypto-market will never stop! There are so many coins that has just one purpose, to be be pumped and dumped!
Not so often we see the pump of some top coins, after which comes the dump. I think the same is happening right now with BSV. After
amazing rise, price down for 20% today.

974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which will be the most valuable altcoin? on: January 18, 2020, 11:58:30 AM
A good sign is that bitcoin has risen to $7,300, followed by a slow rise in altcoins prices. In 2020, I'm becoming more hopeful, cryptocurrency prices will actually rise steadily until the half event is over. I have therefore tracked some high-potential altcoins, and in my view there are some altcoins that are very interesting and worth keeping. I picked the most popular altcoins in 2020, ETH, LTC, and BNB. Such three altcoins are very useful as they can produce enormous profits

Bitcoin is 8865$, not 7300! I don't know from which year or month you are, but some alt-coins made amazing increase
in the past week, and the prices are still holding.
As we can see every coin from top 100 made a significant progress from time to time. For some people that is a good
source of income, if you can predict which coin will rise in price next one.
I don't speculate about it like others do, I am an long-term holder. This green days make me feel even more confident
in the future of many crypto-currencies.
975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Binance going to list BSV again after skyrocketing price? on: January 17, 2020, 07:38:26 PM
You have to remember the fact why Binance and other reputed exchanges delisted this BSV coin! There wasn't any volume or price issue! The BSV owner claimed he is the real Satoshi and the writer of Bitcoin whitepaper, which was absolutely lying and drama! So, all of the reputed exchange delisted BSV and true supporters started hating and calling BSV a shit coin! As Craig Wright hasn't apologized so, I don't think CZ will relist this coin only because it's price is pumping.
Indeed, this coin has been the focus of criticism when a lot of bad news and dumping since it launched and then harmed investors and thoroughly removed at reputable exchanges, typically binance exchanges, and I very rarely see a listed again of a coin on an exchange unless it's an incredibly good project and is expected by the community to come back with innovation. But this is definitely not a reference to BSV because this hike is just a trick of manipulation, can't just rely on a glorious moment to decide it back.

I remember there was some BSV delisting from several exchanges, not just Binance. Ferris419 Greg Wright is the creator of the BSV fork,
and he still claims that he invented Bitcoin, only he still wasn't able to prove the ownership of the address with the locked Bitcoins.
It is a drama! As I read on the Twitter court is involved, some people sued Greg, he sued them! I didn't get too deep into that, sometimes
I see some tweet about it, or a headline and that's all.
976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I feared new altcoins might be left out on: January 17, 2020, 03:14:55 PM
I feared new altcoins will be left out so i start selling some coins for bitcoin because it can be a big blow if altcoin fails to surge like in 2017 after bitcoin reach a new ATH, what do you think? And what would you have done in my position

If the one I am holding is being abandoned by the developer then, yes I will be selling my altcoin for Bitcoin.  But if the project developer is still active and delivering projects then I will not sell it for Bitcoin and just hold it.  Who knows, with the altcoin I am holding, I might have more profit than selling it in Bitcoin.

BitDane you have a point, if there is development, if the team works hard, than it would be good to continue with holding. This is
why we need to check coins and tokens we hold from time to time. I can add just one more thing, community! Every good coin have
a good community, if the team abandoned the coin or there is no community to support the coin then it's better to dump that coin
if you can, if it's not too late.

977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Altcoin Price Be Good In 2020 ؟ Is it true? on: January 17, 2020, 10:22:14 AM
This always happens repeatedly every year. There must be people who are disappointed because their hopes cannot happen.
I am very sure altcoin will be heading for its best price in 2020 because bitcoin is in good times. Because what I know is altcoin won't go up in price before bitcoin goes up. Hopefully.
Currently everyone is thinking about the new altcoin season this year but I sure it will not happen now because the current market is still very volatile. I think this is the time you should consider choosing carefully because you are not always fortunate to make a good profit. This year will take place under a different scenario and bear market will certainly continue to last as the crypto is being manipulated more clearly.

With this rise and green prices many believes that alt-coin season already started. I think this is just a good beginning of the year,
nice start, but we will have to wait longer for an real alt-coin season where prices will rise much more.
I think that alt-coins will be good in 2020, we will have the better year than the last one, somehow I am sure in that.
978  Economy / Economics / Re: Say Goodbye to Banking as We Know It on: January 17, 2020, 07:47:48 AM
Perhaps China will indeed become the first country to launch its own digital national currency. But I think this is not a reason to say that America is lagging behind China in development. In the United States, technological progress is much more versatile. And I think that the leading countries of the world are also able to launch their own digital currencies, if the economic situation requires it.

Countries can launch their own coin, they will have to make changes in their infrastructure, but it's possible. It will be a centralized coin
with government as a head manager of the coin, they will be able to manipulate with supply of that coin.
People needs to learn what is decentralization, for me that is a better and more fair system. We need to say goodbye to the current banking
system as we need to say goodbye to many governments.
Question is are we ready for open world? Are we ready to be normal and good without masters who control us?
979  Economy / Speculation / Re: When is the perfect time to sell BTC? on: January 16, 2020, 08:01:03 PM
If you're holding bitcoin for long term you might specify for how long I should hold my Bitcoin, is it for 5 years, 10 years or so. But if you're holding Bitcoin for short term you should sell them once the price is going up, yeah buy low and sell high. I personally hold Bitcoin as a long term investment, even if the price is going up I don't sell my coins because I have specified the period for holding Bitcoin. when the time comes and the price is skyrocket I will sell those coins.
It maybe we are different, I consider myself as a short term holder and just like what you've said...I sell my Bitcoins when seeing profits on it and buy back again. That was what I usually do and also I feel that it helps me to generate more gain rather than to be a long-term holder. I understand the risk of this and that it why it needs to be smart in doing decision.

Hypnosis00 you are a day trader, or short-term trader, I think both terms are accurate. Your gains depends on choosing the perfect
moments for your trades. I respect your perspective, your profit depends from your daily decisions. But I don't wish to make daily
decisions to buy or sell, I make a decision to be in for a long-term, and for me there is no perfect time for selling Bitcoin for two reasons:
1. I think that every price bellow 500k is too low for selling Bitcoins.
2. If price reach 500k one day Bitcoin will be fully adopted everywhere, I will not have to sell it, I will be able to just use it!
980  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good sign for market on: January 16, 2020, 05:00:24 PM
Actually I am looking at the market right now and I love seeing that most of the coins are now pumping, I am not sure if this is the beginning of the bullish trend or just a trap. As a matter of fact, the crypto market is up by 5% within 24 hours and I hope this will continue because most of us are longing for bull market. I am having a thought that this is caused by the nearby halving what do you think?

We all feel the same way when we see the market all green, with some amazing increases for some coins. This is a good start of the year,
good sign for upcoming events that we can expect even higher prices.
Let's just hope that this is not a temporary rise, that entire crypto-market will continue with rise in upcoming months. I was talking that
we need to accumulate more before prices starts to rise, and looks like it's happening, we don't have much time for buying cheap coins.
