9601  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Best Time to Become a Trader on: March 07, 2017, 02:18:20 PM
Seeing the price and status of bitcoin today, yeah right now is the best time to become a trader. If those newbies out there will miss on learning today.

For sure they will regret that becoming a trader today has still a big advantage in the bitcoin economy. Just like those early adopters.

Still it's good to be considered that bitcoin is still on the $1,000 and if they will miss it today upon coming back price of bitcoin will be higher than that.
Anytime could always be a good time to start on trading its either on bitcoin or forex it doesnt matter as long you do know the principles and the most important thing to be learned before you engage into it.Seeing on the current price of bitcoin its not good to trade since there no such movement that would able to be profitable but if the sudden price jump would continue its a good way to earn now.

I agree that the current price is good for selling and seeing the rise in price may attract even more traders into the economy. Hence the prices are not going to fall anytime soon. But the price is too high to buy at the moment for average earning people and so I think its better to wait till prices drop before buying again.

Price dips may happen soon and we must seize the opportunity to buy some more and then sell it when such surges happen in future again.

I still have not ever get out of here (bitcointalk / signature) but I was trying for it
During this time I get a bitcoin of events are held here and the events of gambling sites  Grin
why did you get interested gamble with bitcoin ??
wasn't gambling unprofitable

I never suggest any member to gamble their money. Why not use our own skills and techniques to earn money - and be proud of it, rather than boasting of big wins in casinos (and even bigger losses, but those are never shown in public Grin)

One should develop skills, learn and use their knowledge to earn money. Just like in real life. Hence try to get a payment position in bitcoin if possible. You can also try trading, in bitcoin and altcoin and signature campaigns.
9603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: March 07, 2017, 01:59:07 PM
I keep coming back because of that one or a couple of runs that I had where I felt invincible and made 20-30x of my bankroll, only to lose it gradually later on but I keep coming back hoping I could do that again and have a better strategy or control, in case I start losing again.

That is the point - we suddenly may have some huge winning streaks, but that does not mean that the luck has changed hands and it is on our side. Luck has the bad habit of slipping past our hands and we can easily lose all our money to the casino in the next bet.

Hence chasing losses should not be done if you wish to stop gambling. It is our hard earned money and we dont want to lose it - hence we go back to casinos to win it back.
9604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: March 07, 2017, 01:56:39 PM
Freelancing for bitcoins if you have skills.

Of course the best way to get bitcoin is to earn it by offering your skills. To be honest this forum is full of people who dont have a job or is willing to try to learn anything to develop their skills in any field.

We are more interested in getting money for free and that is the reason why people make such threads.

But back to the topic I am earning fiat from my work, bitcoin through trading and signature campaigns. Mining is no longer profitable, physical mining that is, cloud mining sites are mostly scam.
As quoted earning using our skills is the best. With trading you need initial amount, but earning with our skills is investment free earning. There are several users here who have been rending services and earning good gaining good trust. Same way we too can make legitimate service deals and gain trust for enhancing our skills along with earning.

Trading is a good way of earning bitcoin but if you don't have enough capital to invest then you can sell your service and start earning bitcoins and once you have earned good amount of bitcoins that money should be used in trading and investment which will help you in growing your investments and you can expect fixed earning by working on offering services or from signature campaign.
yes i also think so that in current time trading is the best option of bitcoin. i think if a person only hold bitcoin for a good time still he can make a good profit from bitcoin.
For trading, luck is still necessary, as for gambling. Without certain knowledge, it will be difficult to achieve the desired results.

Trading and gambling are not similar so dont try to compare them. Gambling is very risky as the games in casino are fully dependent on your luck and not skills or any knowledge. Its like throwing away money into a chasm. Poker and sports betting are different but most of the sports are fixed and rigged these days.

Trading needs your skills and knowledge of past markets and analysis of how the market may move.

I do not gamble to much but it always seems that when I do, I take the loss big time.  For example, I have lost over 3 BTC in the BustaBit game online.  It is fun and I like to play but I always get greedy with it.  I have won about 2.2 BTC back, but I lost more than what I have won.  For some odd reason, I keep coming back over and over.  I do not know why I do it, why do you?

As you said you have biggest lost in bustabit  game, but you still play it because gambling give you fun, even it also give your lose. So same situation with everyone and also me, but still we keep in mind to earn money through gambling.

This shows that it our greed which makes us go back over and over again. The wins that we had, though lesser than the number of losses are the fact we want to go back and win back our losses.

We need to have a control over this. Otherwise if we chase our losses we will end up with zero balance very soon and then we be in a bad situation. The only ones profiting from this is the casino owner. Its like adding more fuel to the fire.

outside just throwing a few dollars into bitcoin here and there, i do a couple faucets on my phone for fun to pass time, nothing big but its something.

Buying bitcoin is good, but I would suggest you to stay away from faucets since they are not worth spending time on. However I think your post says they are for pastime - so I guess it would be alright.

You are a full member, you should work on your post making them constructive and trying to help others with problems. Then join a signature campaign and get paid to post but keep spam to an exact zero.
9608  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: March 06, 2017, 11:15:08 AM
Saving is always good. Some money should be used for living, some for investments and at least 1/3 for saving.
Without savings, life is very very risky..
totally agree with you, without saving it all what you try such work and investment will be as useless because you did not save. then my advice do storage
but without investment we can not guarantee a better life for the future and if you only save in the long run it will be exhausted if the percentage of 70% to investmen of 30% to save if there are things that are unexpected
I think without the investment even if you can still get rich, if you have a good job with a large income, would be good if you focus on saving. surely you would be wealthy if you save it with a nice

Investments are always done with vision of making money from them. Mostly business and trading are investments. A job on the other hand may be enough if it can suffice your needs. But the need and not luxury is important to be segregated.

Savings are done for future needs and emergencies that may arise.

However be careful of scam ponzi and HYIP/MLM schemes which are bound to steal your money.
9609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: March 05, 2017, 09:40:28 AM
If anything I think that gambling can be profitable in the short term. In the long term the house always wins...

In the long term mathematically the house edge will wipe your balance clean of all money. That is a proved fact by calculation using simulation software.

Even in the short term, you are still vulnerable to big losses if you are not careful and start betting like crazy. Because it is completely based on your luck and not any other thing.

In poker and sports betting there is some edge that can be by skills and knowledge. But I have seen the amount of fixing of matches and hate to say that the games are no longer fair.
9610  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: March 05, 2017, 09:35:51 AM
To answer your question, I will tell you something that good to try.
Last year, my friend tell me he buy 3 btc when the price is worth $700. He said he just want to save his money in another place, not bank. So bitcoin is one of any choice to save money. But what happen now with the price? Now, bitcoin worth to $1200+ and his money is grow. It is same like investing money in the stock.
This is a very nice and colorful example of what is worth buying bitcoin, thereby investing in their future well-being. Only one question oppresses me all the time, how long bitcoin will rise in price? I would not like to lose. While I understand that investing is always a risk.
it was because at that time the price is still relatively small but this time the price is already very high certainly everyone will think buy many bitcoin at current prices including a very risky practice?
Yes it is, Because we are not know when the big red candle of the bitcoin will be happening in the future and i think this is very risky to buy a lot of bitcoin right now. Just watch the price and grab more with the low risk way.

I think current price of bitcoin is very high and not worth buying much at the moment. Most traders have I think sold away their holdings and booked profits. However keep an eye out for dips in price, it will happen in due course before resuming the uphill climb. That is when we must buy more.

Also try increasing your stock of bitcoin by trading altcoin and then converting them to bitcoin as and when required. That way you wont have to worry about bitcoin price but the altcoin price only.
9611  Other / Off-topic / Re: How are you earning BTC? on: March 05, 2017, 09:32:49 AM
for me to get a BTC manner in poloniex altocoin trading, buying at low prices and sell at high prices ..

Buying and selling bitcoin is the best way to earn from it. Altcoin trading is risky but worth it as long as the prices do remain about certain limits. Again many altcoins are scam and thus people should use their judgement before investing in them. Then again its not possible to declare an altcoin to be scam every now and then. So its based on a bit of luck from your side as well.

As a newbie you should learn the basics of trading and prevent impulsive trading and panic trading.
9612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: March 05, 2017, 09:29:30 AM
Because i want to win in the game and get rich but sad to say it is a matter of luck and I will lost in the game. And it keeps me coming back because of the gravity. And the addiction way out so the matter that you know before as long as the addiction is going on you will always lost in a blink of an eye and that is the gambling industry.
I guess you better calm down man, that is a very dangerous purpose in gambling, becoming reach is a hard journey and the success rate is very low.
Once that is always in your mind, you could keep losing and become bankrupt in due time. Try to change your mindset about gambling because it is only for entertainment and not for source of income, unless you are the operator.

People need to realize this thing by their own that gambling is an activity that could cause people to be addicted for it. If someone could not even realize it then leave it aside as that kind of people is a fool. Even when we keep on losing, our common sense should keep us from going to lose even more

Most people dont have any common sense. Period

Majority of us run on our impulses and never think logically how the casino business works. If they understand that the casino owners and affiliates are the real profit-makers, they would still go to casinos and lose more money because of their greed.

Of course getting addicted is due to chasing losses and perks offered by casinos to senior players and sometimes giveaways and bonuses. People dont realize that these are marketing methods to draw cash from public and they keep on playing.

If we dont have any self-control, we should not gamble in the first place.

Most of the gamblers are blinded by their greed, they keep believe that they can beat the house everyday and become rich with gambling, the house already got a great system and expert to make sure that they got more chances to win your money, if you gambled and pay attention to the detail you will now what I mean, stop chasing profit with gambling although sometimes the temptation is high, you need to know and realize that most of the time you will lose your money
Well everyone wants to be rich without doing much. And i think that's the promise that gambling brings to the table. If you've won once, that would trigger your desire and belief that there's a chance you'll win more if you keep trying. That feeling will stick to you unless you accept the fact that gambling is just there to take your money.

It is true that the greed and the enticement of getting rich quickly does attract people, but then what about Ponzi schemes which are also advertised in the similar manner? People do fall for them but the number is smaller than the gamblers. Maybe casino running is a better business than downright stripping people of their money and running away.

Either way greed is found in every human being and they cannot accept the fact that the wins in gambling are based on luck.

The best way these days are with scam ico's.

Edgeless
Matchpool

All kind of scams that don't show real human faces but hide behind faces
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1718384.0

How can you earn from scam ico? Unless you are the scammer, you cannot earn from those coins (or am I missing something here?) I have earned from trading altcoins but I do not touch those coins that is scam in nature. I prefer to trade on the safe sides and it proves to be profitable.

I think he means to say that we must become scammer ico developers to earn money Grin

I agree with you thought of "If you can beat 'em, Join 'em" LOL

But I guess most people want to earn in a legit manner and not get blacklisted by the FBI in due course. That is why we stay away from ICOs. No one knows when an ICO is going to become scam or not so its better to do proper research and reality of facts before investing in them.
9615  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: March 04, 2017, 09:28:56 AM
Saving money is not a good idea than investing it. You can't grow your funds for simply saving your money, instead invest it for good result. Try the bitcoin trading thats the most effective way to invest.

If you invest all your money then you wont have anything to spend for daily needs and emergencies. That is why saving is also important. Allot 5 to 10% of earnings to saving and the rest to investment.

Otherwise you will run out of money (liquid cash) when you need it. Investments will grow on their own but you must have the cash at your disposal for  immediate needs and that is why we must do both in a meticulous way.
9616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: March 04, 2017, 09:25:28 AM
Gambling in casino games is totally based on luck and pure luck. Skills only come into play for poker and other PVP games though many games are rigged and fixed and are very hard to guess which one is fair.

In the long term gambling more and more only leads to bigger losses cumulatively since the house edge is always against us and that is why the odds are never in our favor. Even playing small bets never guarantee that the next bet will be a green one.

I agree that most Casino games are based in luck.  Even with poker and blackjack that depends on the luck of the cards they deal.  Even though we have the same thought about Casino games being dependent on luck,  I disagree that long term playing is destined to make players lose more money.  I think if a player couple it with some strategy, they eventually can earn in the long run.

There is a chance to get profit in the long run but it's very low chance. Only few people can obtain it. In general, most gamblers will get a negative profit. And in my own opinion, most of them don't care about their negative profits. People tend to forget the fact that they already lost some money as long as they still able to do gamble in the recent and on the upcoming days. Regret will come when they had nothing to feed their addictions again. Do a responsible gambling! Gamble only with the money that if we lost it, it won't give a big impact to our daily life!

Most people just gamble for fun -  I think they must be very rich or have black money - in either case otherwise how can one not think twice before throwing away money to some luck based system to double it? I prefer to work and earn more so I can buy my daily necessities and pay my bills.

Negative profits will never reach zero or positive at all since they are addicted and want to chase losses. This is turn leads to more losses and they are just willing to chase it again.

Truly these people are not responsible gamblers.
9617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: March 03, 2017, 04:45:25 PM

We need to risk our money on it if we are an investor. We know that for somehow that there are lucky gamblers who win bigger amount. But I haven't read any news about those reputable and big casino's to be bankrupt because of their lucky gamblers. And it's an advantage if you'll go along with the side of the house by just simply investing.

Gambling site wont really bankrupt because people win in their site. At most they are going to be getting lower bankroll therefore there will be less then what you could win in each of your bet however if it is crowdfunded casino site then this will leave a bad effect to the site as investor's profit is going down and it will leave insecurity feeling for investor
That's very unusual to happen in a gambling site, they have their system and controlled it so everything should go in their favor. If one gambler wins a bigger amount, there are many losers on the other side also, hence it will still result a profit to the housed.
If you are familiar with the sayings "house always win", well, that is true and you cannot argue reality.

I agree, only the house benefits from gambling not to the gamblers. Casino owners won't allow their businees to lose profit or give money to people. They let win some people to win some big amounts to make other gamblers try their luck too. That is where they recover their money. So casino owners don't really lose money when someone win instead they just earn more profit on their business.

Yes the owner is the winner at the long run because he knows whats your doing which is martingale so it is better to play in a short period of time to win in the game. And by playing safe in the game it will win you at the end of the day so therefore it is for winning side to win in the game at the end of the day.
You might think so, but in theory and in reality you can never make profit out of gambling even if you play it safe, because gambling is all about luck and taking the risks and even if you win a couple of times there will be some times where you are going to lose because luck runs out and when it does you are going to lose all your money.

Invest an amount that you are prepared to lose. Don't put everything in a single basket. Diversified funds is the best way for investment. You can keep some of your Bitcoin as the safest way however it will take time before its value grows. I forgot, we people should invest in a trusted investment vehicles to avoid pyramid scams or any kind of scams. Investors should also measure their risk appetite so that an individual will know what kind of investment he or she fits in.

Yeah right, keep the money with bitcoin then we get the many advantages. In addition to the transaction bitcoin is very good for long term investment. And many people compare with gold and says current bitcoin is better than gold.

The bitcoin is a good long term investment as its value has increased a lot in the past 8 years.
though we all believe that bitcoin will have a great future but do not make you to use all your money to invest in bitcoin. use a few percent to save as well. because all the risk

Currently prices are increasing like anything and I think its time to bring out the saved coins and sell them to get profits since no one knows when a drop may occur. Its important to notice when the profits can be booked and to grab that opportunity at once. I believe this is one of them and I do hope future prices will be even higher.

Hence currently investing in trading is better than saving.
9619  Other / Off-topic / Re: How are you earning BTC? on: March 03, 2017, 04:32:19 PM
I have been earning from faucets for a long and this is the first signature campaign participation. Waiting to get paid from the campaign for the first time.

I would suggest you to stay away from faucets and ptc sites. They are never worth it and are simply waste of time, since the time spent for them it much more valuable than the amount you earn - you can try to spend that time in more fruitful ways.

Good luck with the signature campaigns. Make sure you make quality constructive posts as much as you can and keep spam to a minimum so you can get enrolled in high payment ones while increasing your rank gradually.
9620  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: March 03, 2017, 04:22:49 PM
Sometimes it is for the thrill of the game; the thrill of winning and losing.

I never found throwing away my hard earned money to be thrilling. Since I have to work hard for my money I do spend it for necessities and investments, but just throwing away the money to some casino owner with hopes they will throw back double that amount is not my thing. Grin

Gambling doesnt mean that you just throw your money randomly to casino site operator because sometimes we can win as well and some people could even win alot from gambling site so it is not like you are always going to lose. Most of the time you lose however when you win it could be quite a good amount
Not all the time will be lose but gamble in gambling casino and targeting to make a profit is really hard..  people are losing are keeps coming back because they want to recover their loses the other reason is i think they are keep coming back because they feel happiness while they are gamble.
Those i think the reason even they are throwing their money in casino.

Its is partially their greed - for the gamblers who have won big wins before. They are greedy and have a false sense of luck playing in them. But soon they find the truth that gambling more and more only ensures losses.

Other than that its is for chasing losses. People have earned the money before gambling it. Losing which is really painful when thoughts of sustaining the family comes to mind - but maybe they should think of consequences before entering into gambling.
