Hehe, yes friends pick again, but it's actually 7 different picks Grin

AH, so strange! I was copying your list to make my picks and in my brain only about 3 changes were registered. Funny how our minds work huh. It's like I already "pictured" your picks as similar to mine.

@Trofo I bet you Steve will make it right with a PM on Monday;) Thanks for not participating and allowing us to win;)

@ralle14: yup! I also have the shareslip option. It doesn't display things right though, not the amount you bet, not the right odds (if you use boost). @morvillz the option ONLY appears right after you place bet and it's confirmed. Strange but after that, you can't access it.

Betting against Bayern Munich? You got some balls of steel there bro  Cheesy
I personally would be more confident betting against the likes of Barcelona or Real Madrid but surely not against red-hot Bayern Munich. Anyway let's see how it goes and may luck be on your side.

I watched Koln a few times last season and I actually thought they weren't very different from other top teams -- typically fast, direct, athletic German football with aggressive moves down the middle. They just lost games because they were wasteful. Bayern's loss this season was down to their inability to deal with that type of play so I think they would lose a bit more than once in 13 games agains Koln, so I thought good odds =p

^ Why wager against Bayern Munich? I mean I do not care about the results neither, because when you have a team like Bayern that team should probably win almost any game at all, I wouldn't wager against Bayern even in champions league neither and I am not saying that just because of last year, they are always great.

In fact I rarely ever go beyond 4 odds in sportsbetting, sure in dice you can try 10+ times and get a 11x very commonly and that would be understandable, but to gamble in a sports game with 11x means you could gamble 100 times and still lose since that is the team that should be destroyed to begin with. I guess there is always a first for anything and buway just tried to find that angle for the game, I can't come up with any other reason tbf and it is his slip so I am not going to argue against his decision.

Except for Liverpool, I'm very team agnostic and bet on value. Sports is not outright odds. I have a daily thread you can check out where almost all my bets are above 4/1, so it's definitely not a first. Last season alone, if you bet against City every game of the premier league, you'd have come out on top 9 times, and I remember at least 3 of those games were odds of 20/1 to 25/1, boosted from SB would have given you quite a lot more.

So, you tell me, City lose 1 in every 4.5 games, and to meagre opposition, are odds far above 10/1 not good value?
9603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How far will you go when you sent btc to a site with high fee but... on: October 31, 2020, 08:26:20 AM
That is so good if you have your funds ready in your account in advance, but this thread was made for those gamblers who miss out on the upcoming bets sometimes and accidentally see it the last minute and try to bet on it. Favorite teams or players, haha.  Grin

Inadvisable at any rate =p You gamble with what you can afford to lose, which is usually planned in advance. But yeah I get it. I've been there before. Played in a tournament where I ran out of funds before the end. Or at a poker tourney where I've progressed more than expected and think another buy-in's worth the shot so close to the winning spots...

Good evening everyone! I'm so glad it's Friday and I've got so much on the horizon in terms of football I feel like I'm all set for the weekend. Since I'll be winning Steve's Multi Magic, I don't mind putting a fiver on this baby right here. Odds boost on the underdog feels so good, baby.

https://sportsbet.io/sharebetslip/dc40795a-4013-4796-8947-cdc05c15f419

P.S. Noticed the betslip doesn't show the boosted odds (it's boosted to 13.10 for Cologne for total parlay of 18.34)
9605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How far will you go when you sent btc to a site with high fee but... on: October 30, 2020, 03:41:55 PM
As covfefe says, Replace by Fee. I enable it by default from my Electrum so I'm really never worried if the fee I set is too low. That said, I hardly ever make a casino deposit in a hurry. Have always deposited in advance of when I need to play (which is always 1 sat/byte haha) and then I let it take as long as it needs. Everyone's of course got urgent txs but my gambling money's never been part of that!

You sure you're not being stiffed by "miner accelerator" groups though? I know of only 1 that works (antpool) -- place was awash before with fake accelerators who really only just push your tx...

9607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think this is the start of mass adoption in Bitcoin? or Nah? on: October 30, 2020, 07:49:56 AM
i reckon huge markets like the USA are a bigger concern to them, in terms of the anticipated growth they expect from this crypto venture.

rolling out in 49 out of 50 states at launch is pretty huge, re the sheer number of customers all being reached at once. maybe i'm wrong, but this seems like a very powerful advertisement for crypto that every american paypal user is now seeing on their dashboard:

You reckon right I think, which really is why I think PP Bitcoin adoption isn't that big a deal as most might think, at least only because it limits it to the (currently) biggest economy in the world. It's a big ad for sure, but I'm not sure if 100s of thousands of Americans buying Bitcoin on Paypal actually does anything for Bitcoin fundamentals. Unless they all start withdrawing it to Bitcoin wallets too anyway!

Damn, boys. That was rough. Maybe if they held on at HT but they weren't coming back from that after the pen... oh well, bigger odds next time it means haha.

Also, Spurs killed my parlay. Everyone else did it relatively easy, but why Spurs, why? Should I bet on them again this weekend? Unfortunately I already did =D Anyway...

Like Wolves but Palace have a way of stinging back so Londoners to WIN @4.50. Betcoin odds: 4.34.

I feel the spirit coming, boys! big_daddy tell your wife we're taking this home tonight haha. Alkmaar? Boring!

Oh ya I really wanted to get Wolsberger too, Feyenoord another rather crappy Dutch team (they were good when they won the league 3/4 seasons ago with our dear old Dirk Kuyt but now play on and off football. Already down to Wolfsberger.

Trofo nice one on Lille, I think they'll do at least 2 goals cause Celtic will be desperate to win. I think Rangers are value money too but their win last week pushed odds to so-so.
9610  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: October 29, 2020, 05:16:56 PM
Yeah I think my Jackmate is glitching for sure. It still shows me my matchday 2 selections: Salah (captain), Trent, Messi, Mane, Lewandowski and Alisson.

But it says that I only have 3 points on Matchday 1, placed 652. Can't see Matchday 2 at all or anything else. Overall also shows me only with 3 points.

By my own calculations, I should get 10 from Salah, 5 from Trent, Messi 5 and Alisson 5 from Matchday 2 alone.

But yeah, I don't know how this works though =)

But if a player like Alisson isn’t playing at all (IIRC he’s still out for injury), then how are you getting points off of him? There would’ve only been a clean sheet for someone without any minutes in the game.

He played the full game, no longer injured.
9611  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think this is the start of mass adoption in Bitcoin? or Nah? on: October 29, 2020, 03:06:02 PM
@OP yeah, one of the big reasons me actually leaving PayPal and convincing clients to use Bitcoin is because they made it so difficult for me to actually be a legitimate user (mainly cause of jurisdiction and nationality). It was granted, one of the easier ways for me to get paid and charge clients working as a freelancer but the account blocks and restrictions and constant verification pushed me to find something -- it made it a bit more inconvenient for clients but with discounts for Bitcoin invoicing I eventually worked my way to that.

So I'm not convinced PayPal putting Bitcoin as an option makes for adoption if you can't use PP in the first place!

Just saw the share betslip thing as well today, but only just as I closed the bet, will have a look at it on my next bet tomorrow (if I don't first make more today) but why not also make it possible to get the link from the "My active bets" page? =)

Saw a tweet yesterday of a guy that hit a parlay with odds of 108.000! Turned 60 cent into $65.000.
Goes both ways!

Damn. Dreams come true. No worries, I'll hit MM 15/15 one of these days and I'll be a legend or something;)

Ah this old thing... Yeah it's a difficult thing to do for those uninterested and even those interested that don't want to be affiliated with it. It probably makes more sense to find a way to at least keep the btc circulating somehow. It might also be possible to. Leave funds on an exchange or make it so tfunds can be transferred to an exchange by broadcasting a transaction which your family might then have access to and just have to click "sell".

Only if that exchange still exists after I pass though! Most exchanges seem to refresh wallets often enough, it'd be another hell to fix it with customer support. As long as they're somehow with the keys I suppose they could always seek help from someone. Thinking of making all KINDs of instructions or really just finding a way to put it in a will and update it as much as possible.

Lazio could have made it last night actually, if it weren't for Brugge getting a lucky one. No surprises last night though, was hoping Dejan Lovren would spring a surprise but there you go.

OK you Croatians, I finally am taking a stand today with Rijeka. Alkmaar are one of the shittiest teams in Eredivisie (no offence to the Dutch) so I'm really happy to see the odds like this.

Our local tv channel didnt broadcast united match when they got the first home win. Sad
Came off the bench in the 63rd minutes and scored a hattrick, the OBE pays off for rashy lol  Grin
as a united fan, can we start composing a farewell speech for the ufa europa league already? Grin

It was a fantastic play by the lads yesterday, you can feel the old glory running through their veins everytime they get hold of the ball. De Gea made excellent saves yesterday too. Pogba and Rashford are improving as the day passes. If we can get a win in the next match and a draw the match that follows we  should bid Europa League a farewell already.

About time they showed some muscle!

Credit to you guys, didn't watch any of the games last night but you've got the biggest scoreline of the night, your opponents weren't shitty either (or were they, haha). Now if you could just replicate that in the league where the tough lads are, you're on the right track. Got to take advantage of us at Liverpool having a threadbare squad;)
9616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's UEFA Champions League Football Preditor Pool Discussion thread on: October 28, 2020, 06:35:51 PM
Not bad analysis big_daddy but for this particular season, I'm actually throwing out what I know about form as teams are rotating more than ever before -- Covid, 5 subs in UCL, injuries, low # of transfers. So I think after this stage as we approach November, it could be just a matter of fresh legs and hunger versus very tired and worn out first-teamers (At least, that's my take I was half-discussing with Trofo too, which is why I'm still backing Lazio with all their missing squad!).

Neymar out of the PSG clash so I'm staring down a possible miss on underdog win (I didn't take them) but after Jorginho's penalty miss, Krasnodar have had more threats! Edit: Odoi just made it 0-1
9617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Tutorial] Making your crypto inheritible on: October 28, 2020, 05:04:18 PM
Thanks for the extra information there.

Sorry if this is slightly unrelated but inheritance is something I worry about every now and then and have discussed at length with some others. I don't have much, but still, it's significant for folks back home (purchasing power etc).

Problem still exists for me. I do have people I've already given instructions to, and am trying to bring some young adults into it but I find that because there is no interest at all in Bitcoin and in fact possibly some negative attitude towards it, I fear they may not. For example, gave 2 kids some Bitcoin for birthdays on their last birthdays after a couple of years asked them if they still had it. One lost it. Lost the instructions, lost the keys, everything =) Other one had both intact, but was not able to complete it even though I thought the instructions were fairly simple.

God knows I've tried to coach my partner as well but while they can understand once. Later on it's like all memory or understanding of it's vanished.

I think in the end, for most people we'll have to consider crypto-able legal assistance. Wills. Estate management etc.
9618  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: October 28, 2020, 02:11:15 PM
That game was awful last night wasn’t it. I mean we won but it was a really poor game, obviously didn’t help with no Salah, Mane & Firmino starting but Origi, Minamino & Shaqiri didn’t do themselves any favours.

I can’t complain too much, not good Fabinho is injured now though.

Sigh yeah. I was hoping for a home game we'd go all out for a 5/6 goal pick-me-up but I was disappointed to see the lineup, and you've no idea what I felt when I saw Fabinho down. Williams is good but I've watched him play in league cup and it's not the most inspiring. Hope this somehow makes him into a Trent monster.

The only good thing was seeing Alisson back to his confident best. But yeah, it was not vintage Liverpool at all. Minamino and Shaq ought to have created more chances at least, it's really a horrible reminder that we're just stretched so thin. How do we ever fight for a double or treble ever...

Hope you got your betbuilder bet cause Mo Salah got to score right at the end with a penalty awarded... so you just might have got your bet right. It ended 2-0 so clean sheet was there as well.
it didn't win, he had 'To Win Both Halves', but Liverpool's 1st half was a dreadful 0-0. Ngl, i woulda gone with something similar too, the danish are among the weakest sides in this CL, this should've been an easy win for Klopp and the boys

i actually had Liverpool -2 AHC, but obviously it was void, gotta thx Salah for that well taken pen 😐

Sigh, indeed I did not. All I needed was a goal at HT.

Thanks for the video. I'm enjoying a lot of Balkan stuff lately =D

Boo. We got everything except the first half goal! Fabinho injured didn't help, and I like Minamino and Shaqiri but they really can't do well on their own it seems. Still need the big guns to win it in the end.

I'm backing one Lazio tonight against a really good Brugge team @3.75. Betcoin odds: 3.70

Let's see how we go later. Not liking the upset odds tonight. Barely 11/1 on the worst outfit.

Ah what the hell. Zenit to WIN @10.82 vs BVB. Didn't count odds as this is last min!
