Because i want to win in the game and get rich but sad to say it is a matter of luck and I will lost in the game. And it keeps me coming back because of the gravity. And the addiction way out so the matter that you know before as long as the addiction is going on you will always lost in a blink of an eye and that is the gambling industry.
I guess you better calm down man, that is a very dangerous purpose in gambling, becoming reach is a hard journey and the success rate is very low.
Once that is always in your mind, you could keep losing and become bankrupt in due time. Try to change your mindset about gambling because it is only for entertainment and not for source of income, unless you are the operator.

People need to realize this thing by their own that gambling is an activity that could cause people to be addicted for it. If someone could not even realize it then leave it aside as that kind of people is a fool. Even when we keep on losing, our common sense should keep us from going to lose even more

Most people dont have any common sense. Period

Majority of us run on our impulses and never think logically how the casino business works. If they understand that the casino owners and affiliates are the real profit-makers, they would still go to casinos and lose more money because of their greed.

Of course getting addicted is due to chasing losses and perks offered by casinos to senior players and sometimes giveaways and bonuses. People dont realize that these are marketing methods to draw cash from public and they keep on playing.

If we dont have any self-control, we should not gamble in the first place.

Most of the gamblers are blinded by their greed, they keep believe that they can beat the house everyday and become rich with gambling, the house already got a great system and expert to make sure that they got more chances to win your money, if you gambled and pay attention to the detail you will now what I mean, stop chasing profit with gambling although sometimes the temptation is high, you need to know and realize that most of the time you will lose your money
Well everyone wants to be rich without doing much. And i think that's the promise that gambling brings to the table. If you've won once, that would trigger your desire and belief that there's a chance you'll win more if you keep trying. That feeling will stick to you unless you accept the fact that gambling is just there to take your money.

It is true that the greed and the enticement of getting rich quickly does attract people, but then what about Ponzi schemes which are also advertised in the similar manner? People do fall for them but the number is smaller than the gamblers. Maybe casino running is a better business than downright stripping people of their money and running away.

Either way greed is found in every human being and they cannot accept the fact that the wins in gambling are based on luck.

The best way these days are with scam ico's.

Edgeless
Matchpool

All kind of scams that don't show real human faces but hide behind faces
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1718384.0

How can you earn from scam ico? Unless you are the scammer, you cannot earn from those coins (or am I missing something here?) I have earned from trading altcoins but I do not touch those coins that is scam in nature. I prefer to trade on the safe sides and it proves to be profitable.

I think he means to say that we must become scammer ico developers to earn money Grin

I agree with you thought of "If you can beat 'em, Join 'em" LOL

But I guess most people want to earn in a legit manner and not get blacklisted by the FBI in due course. That is why we stay away from ICOs. No one knows when an ICO is going to become scam or not so its better to do proper research and reality of facts before investing in them.
9624  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: March 04, 2017, 09:28:56 AM
Saving money is not a good idea than investing it. You can't grow your funds for simply saving your money, instead invest it for good result. Try the bitcoin trading thats the most effective way to invest.

If you invest all your money then you wont have anything to spend for daily needs and emergencies. That is why saving is also important. Allot 5 to 10% of earnings to saving and the rest to investment.

Otherwise you will run out of money (liquid cash) when you need it. Investments will grow on their own but you must have the cash at your disposal for  immediate needs and that is why we must do both in a meticulous way.
9625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: March 04, 2017, 09:25:28 AM
Gambling in casino games is totally based on luck and pure luck. Skills only come into play for poker and other PVP games though many games are rigged and fixed and are very hard to guess which one is fair.

In the long term gambling more and more only leads to bigger losses cumulatively since the house edge is always against us and that is why the odds are never in our favor. Even playing small bets never guarantee that the next bet will be a green one.

I agree that most Casino games are based in luck.  Even with poker and blackjack that depends on the luck of the cards they deal.  Even though we have the same thought about Casino games being dependent on luck,  I disagree that long term playing is destined to make players lose more money.  I think if a player couple it with some strategy, they eventually can earn in the long run.

There is a chance to get profit in the long run but it's very low chance. Only few people can obtain it. In general, most gamblers will get a negative profit. And in my own opinion, most of them don't care about their negative profits. People tend to forget the fact that they already lost some money as long as they still able to do gamble in the recent and on the upcoming days. Regret will come when they had nothing to feed their addictions again. Do a responsible gambling! Gamble only with the money that if we lost it, it won't give a big impact to our daily life!

Most people just gamble for fun -  I think they must be very rich or have black money - in either case otherwise how can one not think twice before throwing away money to some luck based system to double it? I prefer to work and earn more so I can buy my daily necessities and pay my bills.

Negative profits will never reach zero or positive at all since they are addicted and want to chase losses. This is turn leads to more losses and they are just willing to chase it again.

Truly these people are not responsible gamblers.
9626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: March 03, 2017, 04:45:25 PM

We need to risk our money on it if we are an investor. We know that for somehow that there are lucky gamblers who win bigger amount. But I haven't read any news about those reputable and big casino's to be bankrupt because of their lucky gamblers. And it's an advantage if you'll go along with the side of the house by just simply investing.

Gambling site wont really bankrupt because people win in their site. At most they are going to be getting lower bankroll therefore there will be less then what you could win in each of your bet however if it is crowdfunded casino site then this will leave a bad effect to the site as investor's profit is going down and it will leave insecurity feeling for investor
That's very unusual to happen in a gambling site, they have their system and controlled it so everything should go in their favor. If one gambler wins a bigger amount, there are many losers on the other side also, hence it will still result a profit to the housed.
If you are familiar with the sayings "house always win", well, that is true and you cannot argue reality.

I agree, only the house benefits from gambling not to the gamblers. Casino owners won't allow their businees to lose profit or give money to people. They let win some people to win some big amounts to make other gamblers try their luck too. That is where they recover their money. So casino owners don't really lose money when someone win instead they just earn more profit on their business.

Yes the owner is the winner at the long run because he knows whats your doing which is martingale so it is better to play in a short period of time to win in the game. And by playing safe in the game it will win you at the end of the day so therefore it is for winning side to win in the game at the end of the day.
You might think so, but in theory and in reality you can never make profit out of gambling even if you play it safe, because gambling is all about luck and taking the risks and even if you win a couple of times there will be some times where you are going to lose because luck runs out and when it does you are going to lose all your money.

Invest an amount that you are prepared to lose. Don't put everything in a single basket. Diversified funds is the best way for investment. You can keep some of your Bitcoin as the safest way however it will take time before its value grows. I forgot, we people should invest in a trusted investment vehicles to avoid pyramid scams or any kind of scams. Investors should also measure their risk appetite so that an individual will know what kind of investment he or she fits in.

Yeah right, keep the money with bitcoin then we get the many advantages. In addition to the transaction bitcoin is very good for long term investment. And many people compare with gold and says current bitcoin is better than gold.

The bitcoin is a good long term investment as its value has increased a lot in the past 8 years.
though we all believe that bitcoin will have a great future but do not make you to use all your money to invest in bitcoin. use a few percent to save as well. because all the risk

Currently prices are increasing like anything and I think its time to bring out the saved coins and sell them to get profits since no one knows when a drop may occur. Its important to notice when the profits can be booked and to grab that opportunity at once. I believe this is one of them and I do hope future prices will be even higher.

Hence currently investing in trading is better than saving.

I have been earning from faucets for a long and this is the first signature campaign participation. Waiting to get paid from the campaign for the first time.

I would suggest you to stay away from faucets and ptc sites. They are never worth it and are simply waste of time, since the time spent for them it much more valuable than the amount you earn - you can try to spend that time in more fruitful ways.

Good luck with the signature campaigns. Make sure you make quality constructive posts as much as you can and keep spam to a minimum so you can get enrolled in high payment ones while increasing your rank gradually.

Sometimes it is for the thrill of the game; the thrill of winning and losing.

I never found throwing away my hard earned money to be thrilling. Since I have to work hard for my money I do spend it for necessities and investments, but just throwing away the money to some casino owner with hopes they will throw back double that amount is not my thing. Grin

Gambling doesnt mean that you just throw your money randomly to casino site operator because sometimes we can win as well and some people could even win alot from gambling site so it is not like you are always going to lose. Most of the time you lose however when you win it could be quite a good amount
Not all the time will be lose but gamble in gambling casino and targeting to make a profit is really hard..  people are losing are keeps coming back because they want to recover their loses the other reason is i think they are keep coming back because they feel happiness while they are gamble.
Those i think the reason even they are throwing their money in casino.

Its is partially their greed - for the gamblers who have won big wins before. They are greedy and have a false sense of luck playing in them. But soon they find the truth that gambling more and more only ensures losses.

Other than that its is for chasing losses. People have earned the money before gambling it. Losing which is really painful when thoughts of sustaining the family comes to mind - but maybe they should think of consequences before entering into gambling.

Also for entertainment and leisure when there's nothing better to do

I suggest you get a job or start your own business (though its very tough) and start earning. That way you can get away from boredom and earn money  at the same time - call that two birds with one stone.

Right now I am earning no BTC,but i keep on buying some btc every month with the same money.

Buying bitcoin is the best way to get some coins first and let your wallet balance increase. However if you have some skills to offer by freelancing you can get paid in bitcoin. Many such sites are there like XBTFreelancer.

Then you can try mining and trading bitcoin. I prefer to trade bitcoins to earn - buy low and sell high. Its one of the best ways to earn bitcoin from the market.

Also work on making constructive and quality posts in the forum. Once you get a high rank in the forum you should join signature campaigns to earn from them.
9632  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: March 02, 2017, 04:45:23 PM
I do not believe in steady growth in bitcoin. Every time we observe unreasonable price hikes on cryptocurrency and practical reasons for the decline is nowhere in sight.

Steady growth in any commodity in the real life occurs in the long term and not short term ups and downs. Similar in bitcoin, if you have checked the yearly charts and graphs you may have already noticed that.

There is nothing unreasonable in price hikes. Its not like petrol price which get hiked every now and then in our country. It depends on the demand/supply ratio.

It turns out that the price of bitcoin someone manages and makes a difference.
No one manages the bitcoin price in order to make any difference. Only the users and the traders can make a difference - and that is grow not decline.
9633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: March 02, 2017, 04:41:19 PM

It is very easy to quit in gambling there are many things and ways to overcome it.

It is not easy, people think that it is only about money but it is not really about money all the time. Sometimes people are just having fun with it so people keep gambling , as long as it is still controllable and people dont ruin themselves because of it then It is fine to keep on gambling for fun purposes

People enter into gambling for having fun, mostly by the interest of their peers (who are mostly affiliates of the casino). They start and bet and lose - then they want to win back the loss and bet again. They keep chasing losses and ultimately they end up with zero balance. Thats how addiction starts - this addiction is due to the money lost which was their hard earned money. Their minds are clogged by the jackpots and the tempting advertisements of the casino so much so that they become a regular there.

The only way to stop this is self control.

Depends from what games we gambled, if we gamble based on luck games, we can't learn anything like you said. But if we gamble based on skilled games, we can learn something when we lose or win. Sportbetting as example, we can learn something from their previous match to predict their next match
Sports betting can be a profitable one if you have the guts to spare some money and have the knowledge about the sport and following the team news you really have an idea what the end result could be ,but there are upsets in the match and those are the times when you can earn a huge amount of money.
I agree with that. If you see that you can predict the teams that are going to win, you can capitalize on that and see if you can really make something out of it. Matches can sometimes be unpredictable due to the conditions of players. Don't be discouraged and don't bet everything when you gamble.
If we can analyze the teams and make the predictions based on past games and current conditions we can often win bets and get profits from them. However the current trend is a bit different and biased. This is due to match fixing and the gifts and bribes players and teams get for fixing.

It is done in many countries and very prevalent in current games. Hence they are not fully fair technically hence be prepared to get losses incurred even when betting in sports.
9636  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: March 01, 2017, 11:57:50 AM
I also think it is irrelevant in terms of attracting more attention or demand. But for me or any investors out there price of Bitcoin matter as it is the main reason why people are investing at it in the first place because of its price action. Even if Bitcoin is priced at 2000$ it will have a little affect on being well known what it needs is support from businesses and governments to make it successful.

Support from governments will never happen because all governments are anti-bitcoin. It is because bitcoin stops all taxation and the government's revenue is stopped. However more business accepting bitcoin can cause a price surge which is definitely helpful.

The main source of price increase is the number of traders and traded volume of bitcoin.

When the bitcoin price is high and the market cap is large, more big investment funds will invest in it so the price will be higher.
Many of them found online are ponzi schemes and HYIP/MLM - all of which are pure scams. Most people think bitcoin = money for scammers and hence I do not know how much this will help the economy.
9637  Other / Off-topic / Re: How are you earning BTC? on: March 01, 2017, 11:50:00 AM
Unfortunately mostly faucets and odd micro jobs. I figure in my down time at work if they keep me busy, so be it. I don't really have a skill that's marketable via the internet .. ie: graphic design or the like.

Faucets are a waste of time and waste of electricity. They are meant for people who have just obtained a wallet and want to get some small amount of coins to start its transactions - that is know how bitcoin works and start transactions on it. But its not a method to get rich.

Jobs that pay you in bitcoin are the best and thus people should try to market the skills they have in freelance sites and other professional fields - not only in bitcoin but also fiat.

Trading is another good source and signature campaigns are side earnings.
9638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: March 01, 2017, 11:46:02 AM
Am still coming back to gambling in the first place i want to gamble to make a big profit. I almost lose my money and i want them back so i still coming back for playing. But i think i have no luck i always lose when the time i decided to played a game i always lose.

Its the same with others addicted to gambling, going to make profits with hopes of winning big but that never happens since the house edge is against us and we are bound to lose in the long run if we keep gambling.

There is not much question stopping since the losses incurred make us bet more and more and this leads to a vicious cycle. People end up in debts due to this and they cant pay back the money - horrible things.
9639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: February 28, 2017, 03:18:21 PM
I came back because I believe bitcoin will change my life

Of course it will change your life if you know where to put it correct - and gambling is the least of it.

You should try to get a job which pays in bitcoin or you can try trading bitcoin. If you simply gamble all your money you will end up with zero balance. You need to know when to stop and when to leave gambling. Otherwise all the hard work that you do and the money you earn all goes down the drain.
Never try to chase your losses in gambling - if losses are big, stop immediately. Redeem your losses by working hard and earning back that amount in a legit manner, then control yourself from gambling further.
9640  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How to make 1 bitcoin in a month or 2? on: February 28, 2017, 03:13:37 PM
If you want to earn 1 or 2 btc in a month it will need a lot of work.  Theres no easy way on how to earn 1 or 2 bitcoin a month,  you must engage into different btc making methods.like trading, signature campaign, doing some task,  inviting refferrals ,claiming on faucets and many more.

Best thing to do is to get a job that pays you in bitcoin. You cant expect to run all of them every month. Traders see bad days too. Signature campaigns can be a good side earning and not a primary source.

So the best thing to do is to learn and gain skills and knowledge in some field, more so if possible a professional field. Be it fiat or bitcoin, it is the best way to make money and its the old-skool method of hard work and labour on part of the worker.
