Here's a little teaser for you guys.  I can't wait to see Ferguson in the octagon again.  He's so fun too watch with his weird style.  Anyway...  Do you guys know or have any news on why this isn't a fight vs Khabib for Ferguson?  The interim LW championship should be fought between those two, right?

Enjoy the video.  Wink

On September 16, Rua withdrew from the fight due to a knee injury and was replaced by former UFC Middleweight Championship challenger Yushin Okami on September 16.

- At the weigh-ins, Mizuto Hirota missed the featherweight limit of 146 pounds, coming in at 150 pounds. As a result his bout with Charles Rosa was changed to a catchweight and the fight is expected to proceed as scheduled. Subsequently, Hirota was fined 30% of his purse.

Nah I can't see Real nicking 3 titles in a row man that's just crazy  Shocked

Lol.  I'm kinda rooting for them to go for it.  I mean when did we ever see something as crazy as that in our life time?  That's gonna be quite a feat and I'd like Zidane to do it and then leave Real to manage in the EPL.  Grin

Now we have all the best managers in one league!
9644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: September 22, 2017, 06:23:21 AM
Here's my only bet on the games in EPL this week:

Brighton vs Newcastle, Newcastle to win, +0 at 1.99.  Benitez has been doing a good job so far in the EPL and there's no reason to believe that should stop anytime soon.  They have the momentum and they know their opposition well in Brighton since they have spent a season with them at the Championship division.

Good bet or not?
I think this is good, the positive step Benitez has taken to bring Newcastle back into promotion to the epl, and this is probably one of the games that will be very interesting considering that Benitez is already experienced enough to face a big team and this will probably be easy for him

Yup.  Too bad they didn't do quite well during the transfer window.  Their chairman and owner, Mike Ashley, didn't feel it was necessary to spend a lot of money in this kind of market.  The market is kinda crazy right now.  The funny part is it will only get crazier next year.

What do you think about OMG and QTUM?

OMG is still looking good if you either got in on listing day or got in during the ICO phase.  This is one of the rare cases that an ICO token came climbing starting from the day it was listed.  But for the traders who aren't holding any, stay away.

QTUM is not looking good.  I'm personally not touching that for now.

What do you think about RLC  and TKN? Thank you.

RLC, put this in your watch list.  Volatility is going down and it's starting to go flat.  That's the time when it's being accumulated.  Now I know some of you like to accumulate at that stage but I don't.  I like getting in when it starts gaining some momentum.

TKN is a little too volatile for my taste.

Check out Real Madrid.  If they have no way of winning the La Liga then everyone better watch out for them in the CL.  They could be going after a bigger prize in three CL titles in a row.  They're currently at 7th in the La Liga table with two wins, two losses and a draw.

Hey guys, anybody else wanna escrow for my prop bet with Here4Trades?  Don't worry, it's only for .01 BTC each so it's really no big deal.   LFC_Bitcoin, cicciobtc, CarlesPuyol or whoever's active in the gambling board, do you guys wanna help us out and escrow?  Thanks.

And congrats to the top 5 in our betting pool.  Maybe somebody should calculate their percentages of winning and lay odds on them.  It would make for another interesting side bet.  What do you guys think?  Grin

Other

- Abel Trujillo was expected to face Lando Vannata at the event. However, Trujillo was removed from the card on August 14 for undisclosed reasons and was replaced by Bobby Green on August 14.

- A women's flyweight bout between promotional newcomers Andrea Lee and Kalindra Faria was expected to be a late addition to this event, as it was announced on September 28. However a few hours later, it was revealed that Lee was pulled from the contest as she didn't go through the USADA testing pool for six months. Usually short notice fights do not need to follow such rule, but since she has failed a drug test in the past, Lee must fulfill that requirement. Faria is expected to remain on the event as of now.

9650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 214: Cormier vs Jones 2 Info and Prediction Thread on: September 20, 2017, 07:23:15 AM
Kevin Lee isn't gonna look like a hungry lion.  Not vs Ferguson at least.  Ferguson is one of the most hard working athletes in the UFC and he's one of the most underrated.  I don't think even McGregor would win against him if they were to fight today.
9651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: September 20, 2017, 07:16:08 AM
Vettel needs to do something special to win that championship.  Is it still mathematically possible for Vettel to gain the points and chase Hamilton?  I think Hamilton needs to be out of the podium places for three or so races and Vettel gets first place in those three or so races to get back the points he lost.

That something that's sadly not gonna happen.
9652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk English Premier League pool betting Discussion Thread on: September 20, 2017, 07:09:03 AM
You can play such prop bets on sportsbooks dude. Why do you want a peer from this forum?

Dunno...  I find it more fun because me and the guy I'm betting with can tease each other the whole season long.  Betting on props in a sports book sometimes make betting impersonal and you're just there making the bet against your bookie.

Does anybody want to do a side bet with me just for fun?  Pick a player who you think would score more goals against my pick, Sergio Kun Aguero.  Bet will be .01 BTC.  First come, first serve.  If it's ok with hilariousandco, I prefer him to escrow.

Aguero agains't  Lukaku what you think about ? You want hilarious to escrow the bet or do you prefer a trust bet over all the champioship ? Ain't going to run for 0.01 but if you prefer to escrow it all the way I'm ok with it.

YES!  You're on!  Now let's wait for hilariousandco's reply if he's willing to escrow.  It's not that I don't trust you but having the money in escrow, however small, is better for both parties.
9653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 214: Cormier vs Jones 2 Info and Prediction Thread on: September 19, 2017, 05:21:15 AM
No way Kevin Lee is gonna win vs Ferguson.  Ferguson is the best in the LW division.  Not McGregor nor Khabib has an easy chance vs him.

I will be making the thread for 216 later.

9655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier league managers to be sacked. on: September 19, 2017, 05:04:16 AM
Not that I believe in karma, but I would never place bets on sackings. I've always thought that the business of sacking managers in the EPL has become a strange monster with little logic nor patience. None of you mentioned Rafa Benitez here, but he's under a lot of pressure, especially after what was an abject failure of Newcastle's transfer season. Two losses into the opening and people were complaining. How quickly they forgot how Benitez won them the Championship and a return to EPL! Just hope the 3 straight wins continues. I'm a Liverpool supporter so will never forget Istanbul =)

The league's a better place with the likes of Benitez, Klopp, Koeman and Wenger.

Benitez is in a much better position than Wenger and Klopp.  And I don't think he's under pressure by Mike Ashley.  It's Benitez who's threatening to leave for not going through the promised fund to acquire players during the transfer window.

Hey Nitrogen.  Betting on MMA has been getting stale as of late, is there a chance you guys will do props for some of the bigger events?  I know they're available in some of the other sites like 5Dimes (and with good odds), but I'm a loyal Nitrogen Sports degen.  I prefer to lose my money to you.  Grin

NEO  What do you think of this coin?

It did really well, but it's now consolidating and partly looking for its support.  I'd just wait and see at this point.

thanks for this opportunity:
1ST APX BAY CLOAK INFX QRL VRC ZEN

looking forward to your insights

1ST may have found its support, but I'm still not convinced and I won't buy into this at the moment.  Watch this closely and wait for that upside momentum.

APX, see my post before this.

BAY is flat.  I mean you could buy into this, but you won't know which way it will go or how long it's gonna stay flat.  Another wait and see scenario.

CLOAK broke out two days before you made this post.  I hope you got on as it still looks good.  Keep following that trend.

INFLX, trying to break out but followed up be some selling.  I guess buy into it when it's dipping is best.  But be careful tho and place a stop loss.

QRL, last month's break out was actually a fake out.  It's still a wait and see.  I would hate buying now and get impatient waiting.

VRC is starting to look good but still not convinced.  Wait for that upside momentum.

ZEN, see my post above, I think I did this too already.

I will do the rest tomorrow.  Keep them coming.

I want Lol_Wenger to go.  He's been in Arsenal for a very very long time and still nothing.  Sure he did well in the beginning of his management of the club, but come on...  It has been what?  15 years without an EPL trophy...?  The club should do it for the fans and give him the sack.  It's time for someone else to take the club forward.  Enrique Luis and Thomas Tuchel are both good, capable managers and they're available.
9659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: September 18, 2017, 05:23:48 AM
Damn what's going on with Liverpool, they are really not doing well right now, on the opposite side is City, that is heaving a great start, they've crushed Liverpool and now they've crushed Watford. Of course that if I'm not mistaken, they also started very well last season, but then struggle a bit. Let's see if they manage to keep it this time.

Tomorrow I will go for straight wins on Chelsea, and United. I know it's soon, but United seems more solid to me this season. They do come from a draw, so this will be a good test form them.

You needed Mané, Llalana and a good left back.  I haven't watched the game yet but on top of my head, that's where Liverpool is mostly lacking.  The CB deficiency is not really a huge problem since a good offense could make a better defense.  Kinda what like Pep is doing.  He doubled down on the attack by acquiring offensive minded fullbacks and worried about the CB problem after, which made us miss on out Jonny Evans.
Liverpool are not playing the tiki taka style of football where they starve their opponents off the ball, with the style of attacking football that they are playing they are very much in need of a good CB and that's where most of their problems in the defense lies. Van Dijk would have been a great signing but they gave up on him. They have to play till the winter transfer window to find players to fill that position.

Klopp's teams don't play that way.  Tiki Taka is a style of play that originated from Spain and of which Barca is famous for.  You wanna see Tiki Taka in the EPL?  Watch how Man City  play.

Klopp's Liverpool plays more a gegenpressing style wherein they pressure the opponent immediately right after losing the ball.  And the moment they get back the ball the immediately go forward for the attack.  Very intense and very inefficient use of energy, but it's very entertaining to watch.
9660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: September 17, 2017, 04:36:21 PM
Lol_Ferrari.  I think they hate Verstappen so much that they were willing to risk crashing out of the race by being really aggressive vs him.  It's like both Vettel and Raikonen wanted to squeeze him out.

Hamilton is now up by 28 points or so...
