Can anyone suggest me a genuine faucet to earn bitcoin? There are so many scams out there.

Freebitco.in is one of the oldest and is sure to pay. But consider you get only 170 satoshi per 1 hour if you hit lowest reward, 10 hours = 1700 satoshi, that wont make you rich. If you're new to bitcoin its a good start to learn about withdrawing, wallets etc.

New people should learn about bitcoin and how to use it. Then they can think of earning it. Best methods to earn is buying and selling bitcoin or trading. Signature campaigns are also good if you have a proper rank and can make quality posts.

Faucets will not make anyone rich and they are mostly a waste of time. Many times the faucets also promote HYIP and MLM scams - which trap newbies easily. However freebitco.in is a legit and old faucet which everyone can use.

Early last year, too, do such manipulations as well as this year.

What exactly do you mean by manipulations? You believe the market prices are manipulated to make the market look similar as always? I think the pumping of coins is more important to keep prices stable in order to keep up with the demand.

Quote
The price chart is very similar, only with other figures.

I also dont get this point. Price chart is not similar but changes every now and then due to activity of traders.

Quote
So I very much hope for stabilization in the bitcoin market and that our coins will go up in price.

How exactly is that possible looking at the sheer number of traders in the equation? All of them are earning from the market and so the prices will remain unstable though maybe at a smaller margin.
9643  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: February 27, 2017, 09:35:20 AM
Yes I think it's matter, because if the value of bitcoin was nothing, nobody would be interested by BTC, so of course his value is interesting. More his value is big more people who have bitcoins will be happy.

The higher price will attract more investors.
In general, the investors must involve the future of bitcoin. It would be much more effective when you buy bitcoin at a low price and expect tremendous growth in the future.

Investors help the economy of bitcoin to grow at a proper pace. As the prices rise more investors are pulled in which leads to more market capital and increased price. Thus in general the price is a very important factor as far as investing is concerned. Merchants do consider the fiat equivalent as the instantaneous price and thus it is not much important to them. For merchants its just another mode of accepting payments.

I'm earning btc by buying them every time I have the money and the prices are not insane as to what they are right now. Also, I'm doing sports betting and trading altcoins to btc just for extra income. I used to write articles for a now defunct website way back in 2015 but ever since I got a good day job, I left doing that and just focused on what I'm doing on the job right now.

Yes if you can manage to buy them regularly then its an best investment to make at a moment and selling them when price goes higher is the right decision to make and I think that is the easiest way to earn profits in bitcoins.

Trading is one of the best ways to earn bitcoin and hence people are interested in it. Buying at low prices and then selling when prices increase is what people have been doing for ages. Bitcoin price fluctuation is there and then people are pumping it and prices keep on increasing. So whatever price you buy bitcoin at, there is always a profit when you reach higher prices.

Try invest in a casino bankroll. The house edge will mean you always win and it's very rare that you lose money. I have investments in both just-dice and crypto-games and they seem to pay out a good return on your initial investment. Make sure to spread the investments over multiple sites.

Investing in casino bankroll is good and is meant for the long term investors. In short term some high roller may win big and losses may be incurred. However since mathematically the house edge is there, you will get back profits in the long run. So panicky investors are not recommended to invest in casino bankrolls

Make sure to secure your account will strong password and 2FA is possible. However if they get hacked, we can lose all the money so its recommended to make sure that you dont invest more than what you can lose.
9646  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: February 27, 2017, 09:19:32 AM
To encourage local businesses to accept bitcoin as their another kind of payment system, we should explain how the bitcoin works and what are the good benefit of accepting and owning a bitcoin in a very short and simple way because if we explain it on a long and complicated way then they will lose their interest.

Also tell them that if they are going to accept bitcoin they can be considered as unique business because this is not popular. If they will accept they are one of the very few in the metro that is accepting it.

I agree on this part. It may lead them to become a pioneer in the bitcoin payment system. This can help them more popularity and thus make the people accept the payment mode.

I have made this opinion to many of the merchants in my country  already. I hope at least one of them will be accepting it in future and then others will follow the lead.
9647  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: February 26, 2017, 07:35:11 AM
Yes we can encourage local businesses to accept bitcoin by means of letting those business owners to register at online wallet of bitcoin and fiat currency exchange. He/she will appreciate the advantages and usefullness of digital and fiat currency in terms of fast service and low transaction fees. In that aspect of bitcoin overview that online wallet that he/she will be using is a mediator of any currency that will be paid or converted as form of payment which can cash out as profit to them, through recommended bank.

Yes indeed the advantage in local businesses are getting a lot of member and will certainly get great returns, let alone our business wake up using bitccoin. Although it has many advantages but it still has a lot of harm if we do not want to secure transaction or our business properly. Because broadly speaking bitcoin is a place that is very prone to be theft. No problems did make the local business base bitcoin, but we should be able to do very well in order to benefit measurable as we want

the only disadvantaged I think is that we can let the customers made their identity real, some might not use their real names and might use other names. We should still be careful implementing btc but it is RY a good way to  do business.

Most of the people and the owners are not knowing about bitcoin in many developing and developed countries. This community is a small fraction of the entire population of the earth. However it is upto some non-profit organisation to devlelop systems to encourage the users to accept bitcoin and for owners to accept it too.

Then again there is another problem - 1st impression of bitcoin is that is a hackers money, scam coin, coin for drugs etc. People consider bitcoin=scam, ponzi. Since this misconception is the first impression it is difficult to work around it and make them trust it.

Because after all if you make them trust it, you have to maintain that trust. One single wrong step and they will blame you for everything, even if it was their fault.
9648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: February 26, 2017, 07:28:35 AM
If you study the current prices critically then you should keep your BTC and don't invest in any thing else because you stand a chance in profiting from investing in  so why take it out and invest somewhere else. There are good times ahead people. Cheers!
yeah i think you are right as current price is keeps on increasing day by it doesn't needs any investment. you just have to keeps it in your wallet and it will you profit after some times.

Keep tabs on the market capital and the current price. Thats the way it goes until a target is reached and sell some coins. But then again dont sell all away. Currently trading is s good investment, more so bitcoin itself is a good investment since the prices are going up as usual and keep increasing.

Other investments like HYIP/MLM are pure scams and people even fall for them. Newbies always fall for them and end up scammed. I guess its human nature that we block our own reasoning and fall for them.
9649  Economy / Economics / Re: Sell Everything? on: February 26, 2017, 07:21:45 AM

Most of us are hoping to see big rises in bitcoin prices in the next few months and years maybe upto 1500$+. It may take some time and maybe associated with dips in prices as well. But then I am also hoping prices to reach such amounts and hoping to sell much of my coins then. It will be a big profit then. Otherwise I will just hold the coins and sell at other prices when targets reach.

It might take a few months to achieve $1500. There will be dips, not worry.

I am ready for dips. In fact I hope prices dip upto 300$ so I can buy more again. I am a very patient type of trader enough to hold coins upto a decade.
I never panic on the field or get tensed specially since its bitcoin.

Selling everything is never my thing again. In that case its difficult to get back into the business. One thing I do often is sell smaller parts of it to book profits and then bank that. Maybe reinvest it later on as well.
9650  Other / Off-topic / Re: How are you earning BTC? on: February 26, 2017, 07:17:43 AM
I earn my few Bitcoin by filling capctchers although the amount earn is small nevertheless it's serving a purpose.

I think the amount is small as well, but even then its not enough to serve your daily needs. You also need to spend electricity to run the device as well, be it computer or smartphone. So in that way you are spending money on electricity and getting very low returns which cant even pay that bill. So there is a net loss and not profit from such things.

Faucets, PTC, Captcha solving are all waste of time according to me. I have a life and am earning well from my work so why waste time on these?
9651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: February 25, 2017, 08:08:15 AM
I don't know why but I always get a feeling to gamble, after then losing my money, I quit for some time and then continue, but I know I will lose my btc Sad

Why is it so addictive?
Because it gave enjoyment to the for the gamblers, and there adrenaline maybe are always looking unto it to fulfill the satisfaction of their body, in this case there is a psychological already to the gamblers.
enjoyment somebody really different, but we have to respect someone who puts the pleasures of the gambling game because I felt that the gamble I can pull out all the emotions that I had with a satisfactory expression.

On the contrary I think its only brings sadness and frustration for people who have been to casino for real. 99% of the people posting here have never been to a real casino and are posting like they know everything in the world.

There is nothing called "fun" in gambling - people say that they go for fun but actually they all go tempted to make money in a easy way. That greed is dangerous and is the thing that kills.

In the long run, they chase after the losses and end up with more losses. Gradually all their balance is washed away and they are left in debt.
9652  Other / Off-topic / Re: How are you earning BTC? on: February 25, 2017, 08:04:53 AM
Im earning btc thru faucets, gambling, investment and etc. And i would want to add more and to know more also so that i may have a choices so that i might gonna apply it for future.

Faucets are a waste of time. Consider the electricity and internet costs that you spend for earning some mere fractions of satoshis. its plain 4th grade maths and you can see very well that the real profitmaker is the owner of the faucet. Gambling is the best way to lose money unless you have some +EV game like poker and sports betting - but then again many of them are fixed and rigged.

Quote
well bitcointalk.org's signature campaign is the only major source through which we can make about $30 or more in a month just by spending 2 hours in a day or may be less.

So that means you are ready to post like a spammer? No offence but your post really declares that. This forum is about helping each other learn about bitcoin and such. It is not a place to "post for earnings".
9653  Economy / Economics / Re: Sell Everything? on: February 25, 2017, 07:59:34 AM
Sell your kidneys if you have to, you can buy new ones next year when btc is 100k  Cheesy
Hahaha that is a desperate move just to buy some bitcoins.  Grin But for someone that is willing to do that for how long is he going to wait before it reaches $100k.

I don't think that next year 2017/2018 is going to be enough just to make the bitcoin reach and make itself into a 6 digit value coin.

But I won't do it anyway better to sell some unused goods that I don't need anymore and I would sell some of my coins but still keep on holding.

I think the price of the bitcoin will not be 5 digits. It will be around $1500 to $3000.

Many people are predicting that BTC can be 3000 by end of 2017 so anything is possible. I can also be worth 0. Nothing is impossible!

Nothing is impossible, I agree with you. I believe bitcoins and I will continue holding. Bitcoin already prooved to be a strong and trusted currency. Who is here today I consider a pathfinder, because few persons in the world are using bitcoins now, when many start coming to crypto currency, the first persons here will be already rich holding their bitcoins and I want to be one of them.

Yeah anything can happen with bitcoin and as a matter of fact the price now is falling. For sure this is the cause of those holders who are now selling .

And they got panic already upon seeing the price fall from $1,000. BUt still it's up to you if you are going to sell.

But I will going to keep on holding. Smiley

I think the price will not fall too much from current levels.

I am also confident that the price may fall to a maximum of $ 100. But this is a normal fluctuation of prices. You can make the purchase

That's just a small dip from bitcoin. small correction will mean nothing in the future. but the 11 march's hype still continue. let see how the next pump of bitcoin will have come as soon as possible. bitcoin will be over $1200 next week. I really optimism about it. it will be true.

9654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: February 25, 2017, 07:57:05 AM
Right now holding BTC is a good idea as previously i would prefer to hold in other form of cryptos.

Not saying that holding other cryptos is not good but if you are looking for safe and consistent gain over long time, holding BTC is actually a good strategy.

The first time when i first touch BTC the price is at the mark of $300-400. Over 2-3 year, it is now consistently traded around $1100 +-

Currently I am also holding bitcoin. Earning more to increase my stash and then trading to grow it even more. I am selling it but though at a slow rate to gain profits and get back into the business. Prices are rising more and more so I dont want to buy at this time. Considering the past market trends I think prices will rise more so we can sell, if the prices fall then we can buy more again.
9655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: February 24, 2017, 08:36:18 AM
If you want to invest your bitcoin, I suggest you invest it in ethtrade and/or recyclix! Those two are my most trusted sites and still paying for almost two years! Be careful in investing your bitcoin because there are lots of scam sites nowadays. If the site is promising you a high return, you should be doubtful because i've been scammed many times before.

Hey, since you honestly believe that ethtrade is so trustworthy, perhaps you can enlighten us as to which URL we can click so to view them venerable dudes. We'll wait.

I dont know why these people are "recycling" these scam and ponzi sites again and again? Is there a new referral toplist in those sites? Guess people are getting rewarded for referring the largest number of users. Even then that money will also be taken away since its a ponzi scheme and they are not allowed to withdraw Grin Grin

Since time immemorial people are prey of their own greed and lazyness. Money needs hard work and skills to be spent to earn. It does not come for free or multiply for free. Get a life (and a GF/Wife) people.
9656  Economy / Economics / Re: Sell Everything? on: February 24, 2017, 08:32:30 AM
When the price is over $1200, a fall of $100 is almost nothing.
It highly depends. If you just have 0.1BTC then such a decrease in price won't impact you, but if you have thousands of coins, then it's completely different.

It's well known that the more you own, the more you potentially lose. In the latter case an 8% decrease results in your coins losing hundreds of thousands of $ in value. Definitely not what I consider to be *almost nothing*.

If you have many coins, the 6% drop is still a small percentage.

Most of us have only little amount of capital to start with. I agree high volume trading when prices increase by even 1% is profitable if you sell your coins. But then most people here are not willing to trade high volumes since they are having low amount to start trading with.

Its important to build up your capital slowly and then start to sell it slowly. Not sell everything since then you cant easily return to the market again.

Quote
I think you are wrong. 6% is very high if that guy has a big amount of Bitcoin or cryptocurrency. I am holding more 3 Bitcoin and if the price is $1200 and drop 6%, I will lose more than a hundred dollar. Therefore, please do not speak about things that you do not dully understand about it
thanks

I dont know what price you bought the coins but seriously speaking if you have bought it at prices 1200$+6%, I dont know when you can get the chance to sell it off. I know prices will rise if future so good luck.
9657  Other / Off-topic / Re: How are you earning BTC? on: February 24, 2017, 08:26:39 AM
I am just gambling actually to make bitcoins. but the problem is I am loosing more than I win. I hope some nice sites come in market where I can invest and rest assured that I will get profit always

First of all gambling is an assured method to lose money. In casino games the odds are always against you and so you cannot make money in the long term since the house edge will make you lose. Still you can earn a bit if your stop while on a green streak. But best method is to stay away from gambling.

Investments are good as long as they run profitably. Trading is the best of them where you are actually investing money into bitcoin or other crypto. Mining is good for some people. But the best method is to work for money and invest it in some real life business which you know wont turn scam.
9658  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: February 23, 2017, 09:07:50 AM
In order to earn the same amount of money you need to have start-up capital. And what it is, the more it will come

To get a start-up capital people in this forum need to get a source of earnings. The best source of earning is working for it. Applying your skills to earn money. Then for bitcoin one can also try buying bitcoin and earning it from trading, mining and signature campaigns.

Then they need to use that capital to earn more. Keep a small fraction as savings and use the rest to invest in proper place - not some scam HYIP/MLM pyramid.

First thing people of this forum need to learn - Discipline - Money does not rain like water - it needs hard work to earn it.
9659  Other / Off-topic / Re: How are you earning BTC? on: February 23, 2017, 09:04:49 AM
Just collect from faucets.
So i am happy just doing that. Smiley

I dont know what you have actually, like free internet all day? Free electricity all day? Free access to your pc all day? More important free time all day?
Dont you have to feed yourself? Answer nature's call? Take care of your family?

Seriously speaking - faucets are for those people who dont have a life and are happy collecting dust from so called "taps of bitcoin". For a more decent earnings, go get a proper job that pays you in bitcoin/fiat. Use your skills and do some freelancing in the forums. Then you can start trading in bitcoin and altcoin after you get some experience.

Last but not least - stay away from faucets - they are never worth of their time. You can do a lot more in that time than collect tiny fractions.
9660  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How to make 1 bitcoin in a month or 2? on: February 23, 2017, 08:59:38 AM
thats also my question since i am new in this forum,if you really want to earn bitcoin, give more time in this forum..since 2hours is your limit here you can't earn alot..there are offers in the service section where your service is needed whatever knowledge you may share or know..best investment here is your time and knowledge.

Putting your time and knowledge into good use to learn some skills in any field you want - professional field so you can work for money. That is the best way to earn according to me. I dont like to let my luck earn it for me since I am a very unlucky person and can never profit fro gambling.

However investing in the bankroll is a good investment in the long run - its not an investment for the "get rich quick" people though.
Trading needs your skills and judgement along with market analysis which is profitable if you know where to put your money.
