The negative score is bad, is not a coincidence that many sites have removed it.
The merit is something that is not equal to the "like" and the demerit is not equal to the "dislike"
If you don't want read a post, skip it or ignore/report the user if the post is bad and if instead you find it useful and well done use the +Merit.
Above all, dislike is easily exploitable by people with many other accounts.

But in the end I agree with you sMerit system maybe needs a little adjustement (more merit sources or reduction by 20-30%,in my opinion, to rank up) now we are in a moment when montly sMerit circulation is ≤  sMerit generated.

Potrebbe essere comunque un mese storico questo, primo mese in cui lo sMerit usato sul forum è inferiore a quello generato.

This is most likely the equivalent of a clickfarm doing bounties. Don't get me wrong here, but it's part of the reason that decentralized checking for bounties is lacking at. There's no way to detect abuse when it's coming from the same user or group when there's no centralized platform bounty hunters have to go through.

Well they are in a lot of bounties, I'm not a bounty manager and I find a lot of abusers without looking for them, only reporting my reports and scroll down and up the page.
My list of abusers is very long I found a lot of them and they are saved on my .txt file but since I'm not paid for it (cause is not my job) I will report them when I have time.
It's really quite easy to discover them (It's "only a very very long work) and IDK how managers can't find them!

Questo perche n!/(n-1)! è praticamente 1 per via di n molto grande; p è dell' ordine di 10^-9 quindi 1-p è circa 0.999999 che elevato ad un numero molto grande è di un ordine minore di 10^-44 (basta vedere che 0.99999^(10^9) è dell' ordine di 10^-44 e considerare che n-1 invece è di un ordine enormemente superiore al miliardo).
Quindi avrai un 10^-9 per un qualcosa di ordine molto piccolo quindi ad essere ottimisti avrai
0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000012% di probabilità di minare il blocco.

k=number of acceptable attempts->k=1
p=probability of success-> hashpower of your machines / hashpower of the network
You can quietly do the math but it will result a probability with 0 periodically  Grin
This is because n!/(n-1)! is practically 1 because of a big value of n; p is of the order of 10^-9 therefore 1-p is about 0.999999 which when raised to a very large number it will become in an order less than 10^-44 (just see that 0.99999^(10 ^ 9) is of the order of 10^-44 and consider that n-1 instead is of an order extremely superior to one billion).
So you will have a 10^-9 multiplied for something with a very small order, so to be optimistic you will have 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 0000000000000000000000010000000000000000000000000000012% of probability to mining the block.

I think for this exact reason if the reserve post hasn't been edited within an hour then it should be reported and if the user continuously does this then they should be temp banned. It's the only way to stop this from happening. The posts that have been deleted should be more than enough as a warning.

The problem is not only the res post not edited.
In my opinion the most annoyng this is this one IN EVERY BOUNTY, (I've picked one random)

I Know....

If I have not misunderstood in the Russian section, if I report a spammer with the "report to moderator" I have a chance to have a reward in Merit.
From here, if I create 500 alts to spam and report them with my main account, I will increase my chances of having Merit.


@eddie13, 500 is a symbolic number can be even 1, (but more is better for the newbie spam protection timer).

I like this idea because I personaly report many messagges but it easy exploitable.
I have no doubt about the goodness of the gesture of mod but I know the human tendency to turn the rules for a personal profit.

E' un peccato però che il forum italiano venga penalizzato in questo modo.... ovviamente alla lunga ne risentirebbe la qualità di tutta la sezione "spingendo" gli utenti a postare sulla sezione internazionale e via via allontanandosi da questa.... sarebbe forse interessante far gestire i merit a parecchi utenti "legendary o hero".

Il problema è che devono fare apply e quasi nessuno l'ha fatta.

Why not then make a new additional rank for example : Bounty Manager, like the Copper Member. So only those ranked ones will be allowed to post in the bounty section.
There should be a procedure to apply for such position, based on different criteria,maybe same as the Merit sources today.
This will reduce the fake and scam projects and the spam too. Of course it makes everything more centralized.
I guess is too much time and work implementing those changes, and it will be easier just to remove the bounty section but, it's all about compromises.


Now that we have the merit system just limit the section to members+ and copper members is already a great solution to avoid the mass spam abusing on bounties.

What do you think about this pratice? A lot of users reserve trasnlations in a huge number of bounties even when they don't have a bounty translation! I find this aggressive pratice very irritating.

Also in many bounties the only thing that hunters can do to reserve the translation is complete the form BUT THEY post their fancy reservation everywhere for no reason, this is very arrogant in my opinion.
