9661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: If BTC doesn't close this week above $3000 gpu mining is done on: September 17, 2017, 06:52:52 PM
Maybe if BTC hit like $1000 people will stop mining but the low amount of power that these RX series cards use, people will mine anyways.

9662  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why has no fiat casino adopted provably fair gambling? on: September 17, 2017, 06:47:05 PM
Even with real physical casinos, how do you know that they don't cheat you somehow.

Most likely in the USA there is regulation. However if you go to some other country, and play roulette how do you know that there isn't  some magnet that determines the winning number or some magnets in dice.

9663  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is megadice.com legit? on: September 17, 2017, 06:45:40 PM
Today I got free 10 spins from megadice and managed to make 0.002 BTC. So is this site legit? Should i keep playing? xD

The site lately has a weird history, but according to their thread people seem to have been getting paid.

However we don't know exactly who the current owners are. Or what exactly happened with Satoshidice. And there was also some very lucky lucky player who won like 300 BTC from a single roll and depleted most of the investor funds.

Since you have such a small amount, I wouldn't worry.
9664  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinolize.com | Provably Fair Bitcoin Dice Game On Board | Low House Edge 0.7% on: September 17, 2017, 06:44:09 PM
What is this:

May I ask you why we can randomize seeds every 10 minutes? It is not bloody faucet, it is provably fair!
If I want to randomize it every second i should be allowed to do that!

People were simply changing the seeds and abusing the server.  Hence we made this restriction.  Even other big sites restrict to change the seeds only once in 5 minutes. If majority of the players find this restriction as an issue, we don't mind removing those instructions.

players also cannot change their client seed. you're forcing players to use client seed you assign and just adding the nonce, meaning you already know the result of the roll. That's not how provably fair sould work.

You can click on the user seed box and update the user seed. I think you never tried to modify the user seed.

Smiley Yes, I tried, and it's not possible to change client seed.

You can change the user seeds once in 10 minutes as of now. If you want to change before that, refresh that page and change the seed any time you want...

I understand why you did this. Because with some bots using API they usually request a brand new server seed for every 10 rolls or every roll.

However I don't understand why people even bother doing this since each hash is completely random with a new nonce just like generating a brand new hashed seed.

Maybe they do it because they think since the casino knows the results of the next 100 rolls they feel undercomfortable but if the player keeps betting there is nothing stopping them or the casino from the results that are bound to happen anyways.
9665  Economy / Gambling / Re: OddEvenBets.com - House edge 1%, Provably fair on: September 17, 2017, 06:41:33 PM
No I'm not saying oddevenbets is not Fair. I'm just saying honesty goes further then fancy games. Oddevenbets can be a great site if they too keep being truth worthy. They don't need to be fancy being honest is good enough. So far they have been honest so that's good. Well done on your winnings !! What will you do with the money ? xD

My game have provably fair system! You can see and verify your bets with secret key.

Your site seems to be improving more and more. And I think the people who are bored of dice or who want an anonymous way of betting will favorite it.

I am just wondering if you will be adding additional currency pairs like Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, or maybe Litecoin.

Right now BTC fees are low but after all this China fud ends, most likely the blockchain will become full again.
9666  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking to buy a small/medium dice site or receive help to start one on: September 17, 2017, 05:03:05 PM
Dear Members,

I'm new to the Bitcointalk but I'm quite experienced
in programming and online marketing. I've ran a few projects before in different industries.
I have quite a bit of capital made from the previous projects and I wanted to start an online betting site.

I am considering 2 options, either to buy an existing site & try to boost its popularity
OR
build the site from scratch together with someone.

I was hoping to speak with someone about this. I can even pay for the consulting itself.

If you've built any betting sites before (doesn't matter, small or big) & are willing to sell the site or provide advice/help with building, please let me know.

With bitcoin gambling sites you need to remember one important thing.

Even if you are skilled and can create the bets gambling site ever, the one thing you absolutely need is capital.

You will need at least  > 25BTC to start one and you need to prove this solvency on the blockchain.

Without enough capital you won't get any gamblers.

Is this coin ever going to go up?

Right now is a very bad time for many alts. Many are down in the recent weeks.

Its possible. Peopled analyzed it before and came to the conclusion that a GPU would be cheaper.

Old 7950/7970 which are dirt cheap.
9672  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any true blockchain based gambling game ? on: September 15, 2017, 05:07:57 AM
Really surprised this thread was brought back from the dead after a year.

Either way besides the chain-bet website there aren't that many. And honestly somebody really should make one as a smart contract for ETHEREUM.

With bitcoin due to the VERY SLOW confirmation times and VERY HIGH transaction fees you are better off using a different currency.

This would be very easy to program as a smart contract on ETH and everybody can verify looking at the source that they aren't being cheated.
9673  Economy / Gambling / Re: A non-martingale PrimeDice script! So far so good! on: September 15, 2017, 05:05:45 AM
Listen this still won't work due to the fact that there is a house edge, it would actually work the opposite way if you were running the casino maybe.

Go on google and find some "dice simulator" put in a house edge and you will see whatever stragety you use, after a certain amount of rolls you will always go bust. The higher the house edge the faster you go bust.

9674  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Most Popular, Oldest & Trusted | Huge Community | 100+ BTC Jackpot! on: September 15, 2017, 05:02:55 AM
70 BTC+ in transaction fees over the last 6 months on JUST withdrawals Shocked . Majority covered by PD

And you needed to ban/steal my 0.05 BTC from my account and stop giving answers to my valid arguments. Primedice banned my account with 0.05 BTC and didn't let me withdraw. I'm very disappointed, after so many time playing on primedice and losing about 0.25 BTC they banned my account.

I don't think they would scam you for 0.05 BTC, they throw so many BTC in the air in the form of free giveaways. I could suggest you raise one more support ticket about this issue.

PM me your username. Typically accounts are only banned for mass/abusive faucet farming.

I am really surprised that you are still given him a chance after all those unfair posts that he said about your site.

Most sites would of told the guy to "pound sand" after all that verbal abuse.
9675  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: September 15, 2017, 05:00:54 AM
It is good to see freebitco.in improving the security for the site, there may be some users who have deposit huge amount of bitcoins into their account to earn the annual interest rate of 4.08% on the site, it is better to allow users on the site to set up 2FA to protect their accounts.

Ya it is good that they improve their security but they should have done so long about. Btw 4% is not much. Yolodice focws a much better return then that. Also Yolodice have a much lower house edge and on top of that a rackback feature. I guess it's the faucet here that attracts people though yolodice has a good faucet too.

Yes, faucet and their lottery system attracting many people to visit this site because every week around 2 BTC lottery and one can get these lotteries at free of cost so many people visit this site. But their hi-low game house edge is very high so people shouldn't waste their money in trying this game instead of play on some other site where house edge is low.
that house edge will kill you out of balance and those who keeps playing using their faucets earnings are just wasting their time, but its a good concept
that has been established by the owner itself until now people still visiting ad collecting some coins and use it to enjoy the hi-low game.

They are paying a small amount every hour and charging a high house edge to take back all those faucet amounts. But some people still depositing money to play this high house edge game and losing money. Before depositing money in any dice game please check their house edge. The higher the house edge means your losing chances will be higher so always play on lower house edge sites.

Reason they do this is most likely because they don't have huge capital like Primedice or Bitsler to use the faucet as a promo. SO instead they are looking for ways to regenerate those losses.

Basically most sites that offer a faucet generally usually pay out a loss on those faucet earnings. However it helps to promote the website because playing on the faucet can get a few people hooked. SO they might like 0.01BTC in faucet earnings but earn 1BTC from some gamblers.
9676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best strategy on Freebitco.in and Bitsler on: September 15, 2017, 04:56:56 AM
I don't know about bitsler, but the house edge in freebitco.in is 5%.

And the interest we pay you back on your balance is 4.08%...not bad. Don't forget to factor that in to your win/loss history!

We appreciate the talk and your loyalty, good luck to you all!

That is not the correct answer to defend your high house edge. Did anyone ask you guys to pay interest on their balance? You guys want to attract more people to deposit money into your wallet so that they will tempt at some point and lose their money on this high house edge game.

You should think to reduce the house edge to normal and take out the 4% interest feature and that makes your game more attractive.

Honestly I always found free bitcoins scenario for the pay back very confusion. I read their thread and wanted to see their justification for the huge house edge but it made no sense to me.

Its most likely some form of marketing to lure many new adopters into thinking that its an amazing offer.
9677  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂🎁 LOTTERY 🎁15 BILLION BETS🎁 on: September 14, 2017, 05:43:05 AM
I go on bitsler today and notice im banned for an entire year for what reason I hardly have used the site in weeks what is going on?

Never mind I just left my vpn on works when I disable it

It looks like they are trying to remove all those multiple accounts created on same IP addresses. If you don't have funds in that account then no need to worry but before creating a new account from same IP address you better check with admin otherwise you may face the same issue again. OR you may need to use one dedicated proxy IP for the new account.

Problems with all these players using VPN getting banned is that most of them all use the exact same VPN. There aren't that many VPN that accept bitcoin (probably due to abuse) and those that accept most require some form of personal info.

The ones that don't or avoid that info are the ones that are commonly used on the bitcoin websites. So what usually happens is someone tries some hack, and it ends up getting the entire subnet banned pretty much.
9678  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | Most Popular & Trusted | 109 BTC Jackpot! on: September 14, 2017, 05:39:25 AM
These days is very normal for people to hide their identity with whois under their domain name.

Back in the early days of the internet, people had to post their real info on their whois and it lead to make extortion attempts and blackmail and ransoms.

Imagine someone having a popular website that makes at least $1,000,000 yearly. How easily would it be for someone to just get these people's home address and then drive over and rob them?
9679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best strategy on Freebitco.in and Bitsler on: September 14, 2017, 05:35:55 AM
I suggest that you look at long term betting odds before making a thread like this.  The reason Las Vegas has all those huge casinos isn't because someone has a "BAD" betting strategy.  Its because they have something called house odds.  What that means is in the long run, or the more and more you play, the more you are likely to lose.

Its no different than discovering the stock market.

Many people with good grades and good jobs look at the stock market and are like "I can do this, how hard can it be".

And it isnt until you starting gambling with your money and you see how difficult it is. WHen that doesn't work you go looking for some secret strageties like you think you can find them online.

I would argue it is similar to the stock market.  But there are a few key differences.  If you know what you are doing in the stock market and are able to get access to insider information, one could say you might have an advantage.  In dice gambling you cannot have an advantage, you don't know what the dice are going to do.

That is not true. Maybe the huge banks all trade on insider info. But there are numerious amounts of day traders, midterm traders and long term traders that make very good money trading the stock market and do not need to cheat.

The point is. If you want to make money with the stock market you aren't going to find some "holy grail" method like this poster is asking. It takes years or patience and practise.

There are people like this dime a dozen pretty much.
9680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Rx 480 / GTX 1070 - Daily Profitability chart since start of 2017 on: September 13, 2017, 07:08:13 PM
Oh yes, all sold and the funny thing was that most of them bought rx 480 or gtx 1070 for $700 hehe, so meaning the 2 weeks profit till the crash, they could get only 10% of the $700 paid hehe, so meaning $630 to achieve the roi and 1 usd per day, that will take them 630 days hehe and by then that gpu will probably be dead, so meaning might never get his money back and in the end he will be in debt hehe

I always say and will say this again, miners are the greatest losers, they sell their hard earned coin too cheap because well they need to pay the electricity and other bills, so traders are the real winners here and was always like that.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v10.0 (Windows/Linux)   on: September 10, 2017, 05:51:19 AM

@Claymore, anyway you could add a reset overclock settings command at the beginning of the program? So we don't need to wait the card to crash till new settings are applied or maybe a keyboard command in which will reset the overclock settings to default and will exit the program?

So you call yourself a greatest loser?

I think he is just making fun of the late miners that joined the race back in June-July.

He calls them losers and the earlier miners < May 2017 were the winners.

Yep totally agree here... I am still mad at all those who bought any of the 480 or 580s above $300 for mining! That was outright dumb and YES ALL of them thought they would be getting the same 4-5$ profit all year long. But guess what most have still not learned the lesson! Now the same shit is happening with RX VEGA! Because of all these sheep with lots of cash to spare, mining became unprofitable. Byzantium or Metropolis will not in any way bring those profits back, it will only halt the decrease a bit, and next you'll get hit with POS! yes u read it, POS in the face of the losers with $700 VEGA CARDS. meaning GPU mining may die all together Smiley Have fun further inflating the price of videocards.

Don't think GPU mining is gonna die anytime soon with all the other profitable coins around.
