9681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: June 16, 2017, 12:02:04 PM
it's not easy at all, gambling is like an addiction more than people think and it creates a type of psychological dependence, unlike drugs, you don't vomit etc... but you feel the same degree of irritation and discomfort, to leave gambling for a strong willed person, allot of effort is needed, otherwise going to a help group for gamblers and the like could be useful.

It's not an addiction literally but it is the cause of addiction. Being dependent on gambling won't do you any good because your body might not take it and your mind would just go and on. Definitely, if you are addicted to gambling then there's something wrong with you because you didn't discipline yourself or just didn't put limits.
9682  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which smartphone do you use and why? on: June 16, 2017, 07:50:31 AM
I use Oppo
Os Android

yes its fully rooted
I think Oppo and Vivo are really getting there, the progress that they have could be near against Samsung or Apple but definitely they have less practical analyzations of their failures in the manufacturing areas or something like that. Android is better than iOS because it's almost fully customizable.
9683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: June 16, 2017, 07:48:35 AM
Gambling has never been profitable for me. All the time i invested in gambling, had a loss. I dont think gambling can make a long term profit. Gambling totally depends on luck or some TIPS. i left gambling a long back. Gambling cant be profitable. Gambling should be illelegal. I lost about 0.04 btc in gambling and then decided to leave gambling. Trading has always been profitable for me. ainvesting in trading is more profitable then gambling. if you dont want to loose your money, stay away from gamblingm This is my personal view about gamblingm i dont know what others think about gambling. You can continue gambling if you think its profitable for you. Profit for gambling depends on youm If you are a pro and have some experience about gambling, you can make some profit. Gambling is a total loss for newbies.
That's what you get for taking a risk, you should've accepted that when you made a deposit. It's really impossible to be always profitable in gambling. Maybe at one point where you won a jackpot, you are positive. Then next is another one. It's just like that, that's how gambling works. It's best like you said, is a loss for newbies. It's better to be doing your own thing and believe that you could earn.
9684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: June 16, 2017, 07:44:06 AM
I gambled because i just want to earn more. I believe that gambling is one of the good source of income in bitcoins. We can win as more than we could do. It can helps us and we may enjoy playing that thing.
That could be one of the most answer, we gambled because we want to earn more, we keep on gambling because we have been addicted and been playing this for years. We memorize the game and we keep on playing it for profit. Although we are playing it for profit but still were having fun playing it too.
That couldn't be the best thing that you could earn money from. You could win, or you lose that's just what matters in gambling. The best thing to do is to learn some strategies or probably use dice bots which could help you earn a lot of money compared to just keeping it in a bank. But gambling is just too risky to have.
9685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Warning - QUIT PLAYING BET LIVE GAMES!!! on: June 16, 2017, 07:06:16 AM
It's hard to believe that you are that unlucky. Maybe the website that your own is known for rigged games. How is that even a thing now? I suggest that you check on the websites integrity and the rules that they have to playing games. Just something that you could rely on when things are not what it seems. Be positive, or just stop gambling.
9686  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you Find Cats annoying? (Almost killed mine) on: June 16, 2017, 06:58:04 AM
People who are blaming cats for being aggressive, come on, cats are descended from Felids, just like Lions, Tigers, Cougars, etc. They shouldn't be domesticated, they are hunters. And people who keep praising dogs for being much better, at least cats are less noisy, not like some all-day all-night barking dogs.
I agree with you, especially with the last line. That's true especially for the people that managed to domesticate a cat that is really unruly. You can't really blame them if you just want it to follow you. One more thing that I love about cats, they are not stinky compared to a dog. Dogs are really stinkier and they don't know how to clean themselves.
9687  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Muslim child soldiers in Philippines. on: June 16, 2017, 06:37:34 AM
Those people who has the power and money can manipulate the poor. With there money they can easily persuade adults, teenagers and even kids ages from 5-12 to simply work for them. This is one of their tactics (Syndicates/Rebels), Using kids in wars and any other activities could give them leverage over the Government. Maute group is well compensated by other officials, to cut expenses and to increase the number of their members they recruit even kids. This is not new even Abu Sayaff, Al queda, MILF, BILF, and NPA do this.
That's why money is somehow and always being told that it is the root of all evil. People prioritize people with money and that could be a bridge way how the country works. If the country is really populated by greedy people, like oligarchs and people who bribe, then that's what thrives the country. It's what makes the country go. That's just the first thing of it.
9688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: can gambling give you lessons in life? on: June 16, 2017, 03:56:57 AM
I also have experienced a huge loss in gambling until I can not longer to return the money which has lost because I lost a lot in gambling. Yes gambling has given me a little lesson in life, like how to utilize and use money better than ever and there are many other things that I've got something positive from gambling, and now I've been able to reduce the activity of gambling in every day.
Well, that's okay as long as you don't do it anymore. You have to know how to control yourself and you will know how you would do things in order to get back the money you lost. It's best that you don't get the money back from gambling again, you might lose it two times more and you would be emotional and regret that you played still.
9689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather Vs McGregor: Info and prediction thread on: June 15, 2017, 05:15:28 AM
Probably I would choose McGregor over Mayweather. At least they have finally made a fight and here, there would be predictions. Looking forward for the fight. I want to bet on it, we will see. Lol.
9690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When did you start gambling? (Because of BCT Promotion?) on: June 15, 2017, 03:53:24 AM
I started playing gambling when I saw a large amount of bitcoin on facebook and he tells me that it came from gambling , I was a liitle exited to play gambling that time because I was inspired by that bitcoin of him , In playing gambling for the first time I am thrilled because I am loosing my money fast and recovering it again , I won on a gambling site first time when I first time played it, Now I am finding gambling sites here in this forum, Checking it first if it is legit.
That's a great way to find out what bitcoin is, I see that there a lot of people already acknowledging Bitcoin and they can see that it's a plausible way of transacting towards other people, no intermediary middle man anymore. I discovered Bitcoin through a forum and it's not that great there because of the stuff that they post in that forum, not so much helpful in the section. Discovering bitcointalk is one of the best things that I stumbled upon to.
9691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When did you start gambling? (Because of BCT Promotion?) on: June 15, 2017, 02:23:55 AM
For me, I had started gambling right from the days of small boys but strictly based on skills like who plays tennis the best or who play football well in terms of teams in which I later left due to getting older.but bitcointalk actually leads me to the online version iin some of the signatures I have clicked and this has open my eyes to other opportunities embedded in gambling.
That's a funny thing to do, betting in a team and who plays the best and you have to predict the best outcome so you would know what to do the next time when betting. It's the best thing to do because you would know how to bet and when to bet. Online gambling is the best thing that happened to gamblers (if you are a dedicated gambler)
9692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: June 15, 2017, 01:18:40 AM
What keeps me back lately is greed for money. I earn some money and than i want more and more and i lose it of course.
Or if i see someone is winning big I want to win big too.
I think i need a break for a while from gambling, it's not fun to me anymore.
That's not a healthy thing to do because knowing that you can play and play and you won't stop because of your greed. That's not going to be helpful for you, it's not going to work all the time that's for sure. If you are greedy, it's not going to be fun if you're aiming at winning and not just for entertainment, that's not going to work.
9693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling loses and wins on: June 14, 2017, 12:58:58 AM
As far as I remember I play in gambling since last year. I think I lose for about 0.5btc that time because I got addicted in playing gambling. That time I always play the game to cover my loses but it turns out I lose much. I won the game but my loses was big. So I regret playing into it and I had to move on.

That's already a lot for playing it for one whole year. But do you remember on how much is the biggest win you made? This is the sad reality about gambling, we will win shortly but in return the possible lose and profit that will be taken to us by the house is bigger than that win. It's very deceptive if you will take gambling deeply.
It's not just the biggest win but the total amount won is what I'm curious about because knowing that you lose that large amount, how much did you win or the total profit rate of your gambling days.
9694  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell or wait? on: June 14, 2017, 12:56:57 AM
I already sold all my  coins due to current downtrend or whatever you call...

It's called an uptrend. A mere 7 hour correction is not a "downtrend". It was rising before and it's continuing to rise after.

When the price drops, it's time to buy, not sell. If you absolutely must sell, do it when the price is rising.

Enjoy losing not earning money.  Roll Eyes
Well, that's a funny way of using the strikethrough, I like it lol. And you are right, who would even pick to sell in a lower value, of course, you would want a higher price for your bitcoins, and I don't know if it's going to be still the number 1 cryptocurrency that exists.
9695  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin hit 3500$ in 2018?  ??? on: June 14, 2017, 12:54:52 AM
It can hit 3500$ already this year, by next year its anyone's guess but for sure it will continue its rise as more and more people are using it but more crucially big funds are taking a huge interest. If a US ETF eventually gets approved 10k$ is easily possible.

We won't really know, basing on the fact that there would be a soft fork on August 1 for Bitcoin and there would be BIP 148 and Bitcoin legacy, there would be two chains and somehow you could really get in trouble if you made a transaction in a different chain or probably make a double spend or something. I don't know how it really works yet.
9696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: June 14, 2017, 12:51:49 AM
my opinion of gambling is not bad if you know your limits because of gambling with money or use bitcoin can put los level, and do gamble just for havin fun will not make you feel that you have lost Wink
yes it is not bad as long as you will be able to control youself from playing gambling, when you out of focus that will  be the wrong thing if they become greedy in their play, that will be a bad thing. theres no wrong with it just play the game and enjoy it, dont take it seriously.
i also do not consider gambling as wrong. to me gambling is just like trading and investment. you just need to play it in a right way. to me if a person do not have any experience in trading and he want to trade a coin so it is more risky than gambling and trading is not good for him. but if he has good experience in gambling and he know all the tricks of gambling the gambling is really good for him and there are less chances for him to lose money in gambling.
Well, it depends on your perspective, you will never know what could happen if you believe it was wrong or believe that it's right. Somethings can be wrong even if it is right in the first place because it is when you are going to making too much of it, experiencing it too much even though you shouldn't be and that's not going to help you in the long run.
9697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: June 14, 2017, 12:48:21 AM
Experience doesn'tn matter in majority of games like Dice, a beginner and a professional are the same and there is no difference in place due to years of doing the same thing.. Poker Texas Hold'em and other games have a difference though and there are even rankings and worldwide competitions for it.

You can see a difference between an old timer Dice player and a newbie player.   First you can notice it on how they handle their bankrolls, their losses, their winnings and their emotion.  We are not saying the experience can increase your chance of winning but it increase the time of your session before folding.
It also the same if you said experience gamblers make time longer sessions before folding .A big difference you said that in terms of handling playing gambling with a newbie and an old time players .Experience is not only that way ofcourse ones changes in his past experience to be a good or a wise one to excel in gambling .
That's true, they would know what they will do when they have arrived in a certain perspective and experienced people would have known what they would do effectively. Focus on how you are going to be able to win the games and you might get the right chance to do it and win lots of money.
9698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: can gambling give you lessons in life? on: June 14, 2017, 12:41:43 AM
Maybe the lessons where you would understand that you shouldn't take gambling seriously and not be too much addicted to it. It's like being entertained by it but not make it too much of being entertained that you lose money to it, it's not worth it. You can learn that money isn't that easy to throw away, maybe it's not for everyone but the majority probably can use it for better use.

Lessons in life that you wouldn't be addicted to something that is going to hurt yourself, relationships, and other things. Being entertained would be enough and winning an amount would be a prize and winning nothing would be okay and it shouldn't be a worry to you because you will be emotional and wouldn't be happy.
9699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can u lose with gambling? on: June 14, 2017, 12:37:13 AM
I don't think there is a limit on how much a player can really lose in gambling, if a player really got himself addicted to gambling, he could simply just sit in front of his computer and gamble everyday with his life savings, even when he lost all his life savings, he would always find a way to get a loan from his relatives or friends.

Best advice in gambling, just gamble what you can afford to lose  Smiley
The one who is very addicted can't think normal and the only thing he knows is how he will have a money to gamble like his whole world is to gamble only .It is the worst thing that gambling can make to a person .There you can limit it if you do when you play like you said spend what you can afford to lose.
at least you need to know your own limitation , otherwise everything could went wrong and have a bad ending. noone experiencing something like that right? gambling are always about how you can control yourself to hold your emotion come up and takeover the whole of you. let's say 15% of total income as a fair number for everyone.
yes that is right to me I have a fixed amont of money to play gambling with and I most plsy gambling up to that limit and never try to exceed that limit that really prevent me from a big lost.

When I gamble I do the same thing, I bring a fixed amount of cash with me or if its online I deposit a fixed amount. Then I can go crazy and I gamble with the knowledge I'm doing all or nothing and not bringing anything back with me unless its big. This way I limit my losses to about a days wage at worst.
That's true, it would help you a lot if you do it like that. It's like limiting your ways on being able to gamble, depositing a fixed amount could help you. What do you mean gambling knowledge? In what games do you play? Do you do poker, dice, etc. It depends on what is the game.
9700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: June 14, 2017, 12:31:28 AM
Gambling is profitable only for house always.Only very luckiest persons can turn the gambling in their favor, not everyone. You win win but then suddenly sky falls on you when you remain empty handed.Gambling can not be profitable for long.

It is pretty profitable also if you manage to win always because it's not the house that is always winning, whether you are winning or not, some person is losing already and regained what the house lost from the winning moment that you got. Gambling cannot be dependent on how much you would get consistently.
