9701  Economy / Economics / Re: Selling Bitcoin = Opportunity loss?! on: May 19, 2017, 10:54:31 AM
With bitcoins price rising at such an alarming rate, i wouldn't call it wise to be selling right now, i think its rather the best time to buy and hoard bitcoins, from the outlook its going to continue to rise all the way to even December. So its good to buy rather than sell.
You are mentioning about current trend, even bitcoin finds correction from its current levels, I will be saying selling must be a way of losing opportunities. If the earlier day's bitcoin adopters would have held their bitcoins unsold, they might have become multimillionaire by this times. They have sold hence they have missed their life's biggest opportunities.

Bitcoin should be viewed in long term basis. Around next halving (~ in next 3 years) bitcoin must be having value greater than $20k, it means anywhere if we sell that may lead to our life's biggest regret too.
9702  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's Next Direction 2017 Predictions on: May 19, 2017, 09:08:59 AM
It's already past $1950 this morning, hopefully it will shoot to $2000 by next week. I'm happy my Bitcoin investments are yielding good profits at this time.
But it seems within today bitcoin may hit $2000 levels. But after that how it may move will be the crucial thing as of now. Probably some corrections will be there, but I am sure that will not take prices below $1800 levels and hence we can see next wave of rally toward $2500 levels. All these are possible when we are not having any major negative news.

I am hoping bitcoin to hit $5000 levels by this December, that would be the long term direction for the year 2017. We are having enough time for that to happen, so highly possible.
9703  Economy / Economics / Re: Will silver ever skyrocket? on: May 19, 2017, 08:35:16 AM
Compared to gold, silver has many industrial applications hence fundamentally silver has many aspects to skyrocket in near future. But you cannot expect quicker appreciations like how bitcoin doing right now. I never consider any of bullions for my investment purposes because I am fully satisfied with my cryptocurrency investments.

I think it is unlikely that the price of silver can skyrocket, if we look at trading in the market, because it may be more dominated by gold
Even gold and silver are trading in same direction most of the times, silver is having a separate market space and hence we cannot expect one to follow another. The appearance of dominance in gold is just a delusional, silver has its own cappability to skyrocket.
9704  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Want to make a site for "get BTC per view video" on: May 19, 2017, 07:50:46 AM
I hope you not going to use Bitcoin for this, because Bitcoin sucks at micro payments for services like this.
But it will not be a problem for the people who are paying weekly/monthly with some threshold for placing withdrawal requests. Moreover they are not going to pay each users separately hence one bulk transactions with higher priority network fees will not find any difficulties for both admin and users.

When OP will be emphasizing his users to use coinbase/xapo kind of wallets, there would be significant benefits to users as OP will get chances to share network fees with them and obviously no hassle for micro payments due to their off-chain possibilities. (tx within coinbase/xapo does not require any fees and instant too).
9705  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price per BTC on: May 19, 2017, 07:18:27 AM
Looking at the rise, today alone, i'm getting super... super excited. The price per BTC at the time I write this post is : $1919.16 - quite a rise from yesterday's 1700 something. I'm interested what you all think, could this be the start of the surge we know will come? What do you think the price will be tomorrow - lets talk!
I feel good seeing the current price rise that we have seen today. I think this might be the start of another upward movement. I think tommorow it is either price will continue to rise up to 1950$ range and stabilize, or dump and we might see price ranges 1600-1700$ but it is just a possibility after all it is very common in cryptocurrency that when price rise, dump or correction will happen later after the upward trend. This is just my opinion though I might be right or wrong.
Probably within today we are going to see $2000 price levels as bitcoin has already hit and trading around $1930 from today's low of $1874.99 in bitstamp. In bitfinex it has hit the high of $1980 levels. In worst case, I am sure in this week end, we are going to have remarkable $2000 per one bitcoin.

I agree there would be some corrections are possible around $2000 levels but I am not seeing it to go up to $1600 levels as new investors may rush into buying more when they will be seeing cheaper prices when bitcoin is coming down from $2000 levels.
9706  Economy / Speculation / Re: In the long run how can the bitcoin overturn international powers? on: May 19, 2017, 06:17:57 AM
considering the fact that if the bitcoin reached a certain price it would create a wild re-distribution in the worlds wealth. I just feel that if it got to that point, these entities would find a way to destroy bitcoin. It has happened before, the federal reserve did this to the greenbacks because it threatened the worlds most powerful entities, and they would never allow that kind of wealth re-distribution.
What were the steps taken by federal reserves against huge prices of bitcoins before ? I'm not seeing it will be possible for any government other than just to imposing regulations/banning. But it was not happening in major countries. I am just curious to know what you are referring exactly.

Only very few people (they must count into below 50 in numbers) must be holding bitcoin in large volume to significantly threaten any wealthy family (but they too will remain anonymous in most of the cases). Because people are like you they are just trading bitcoin for years. Still they are buying and selling and missing some rallies. It keeps on happening and hence bitcoin is not making wealthy giants AFAIK.
9707  Economy / Speculation / Re: Selling at $2000,- /btc? on: May 19, 2017, 06:01:16 AM
Hello,

Are you guys also selling your bitcoins for $2000,- per coin?
Or will you hold untill a higher price.

I personally think that when it reaches 2100-2200, it will dump . This is just a feeling

Let me know!
As per the psychology of the any investor, round numbers are obvious target for them hence you could expect some significant corrections around $2000 levels. Still we cannot be sure when bitcoin will be backing by huge numbers of new investors who will be driving buying forces.

If $100 to $250 profits are very significant for you, you may go for taking risk as there would be possibility of prices jumping into $2500 zones too.
9708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Happen If Gambling was not introduced? on: May 18, 2017, 09:19:32 PM
I think even gambling wasn't introduced the gamblers would find another way to waste their money. The addiction is inside people's mind and not in gambling game. Addicted people are sick and problematic and will surely cause problems in another moments and events of their life.
But I do not think so. If gambling was not introduced gamblers might be spending their money and efforts into some other things which might be helping them to take their life into some new improved dimensions.

But no one could ignore the importance of having entertainment on day today life, and only for that reason I believe gambling was introduced.
9709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can gambling help you with your life? on: May 18, 2017, 06:27:38 PM
Gambling does not help my life better. Even gambling changed my lifestyle into irregularity. But that was before, because I was already aware, there was just little luck for me in gamble.
Yes. Gambling is just a luck based games, somehow you will be lucky on that day and someday you're not. The worst scenario you would be poor and lose all of your money if you aren't aware with gambling mechanism and lose your mind while playing it.

Yes, during gambling it's almost impossible to control yourself and it's better not to mess with them not to lose your money.
Yes, controlling yourselves is highly impossible and that is the reason you are unable to stop yourself after getting good profit, is a major factor which does not allow many people to end up in profit in gambling. If you want to win in gamble, then you need to set rules and that can help you. When you will be following your own rules, you may make profits in gambling which may result in gaining self control in real life too.

Gambling imitates many real life situations hence some practices we are learning for gambling purposes may help us in real life too. Emotion control must be a very good example here.
9710  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your Margin trading experience on: May 16, 2017, 05:23:21 PM
I tried to make some quick buck with margin trading on poloniex recently and lost around half of my bankroll with blink of an eye with Ethereum, i think i have made a bad decision of playing with alts when price of bitcoin was not so stable.
It is no matter whether you are choosing bitcoin nor altcoin, leveraged trading is very much similar to choosing big base bet in gambling, you may get more profits in winning streaks and more quicker losses in negative movements. Leveraged trading without exact price levels which are being supported by strong technical analysis with may bring disasters.

I have positive experiences with my margin trading in both crypto and forex as I am very conscious about not waiting for big profits.

Margin trading or leveraged trading may get you more profits for given same amount of capital, but it is not recommended to go with if your trading experience and technical analysis skills are not up to professional mark.
9711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XRB]Cryptocurrency's killer app: RaiBlocks micropayments on: May 13, 2017, 03:02:54 PM
Nice! A developer who promised a new feature and than delivered! We do not see that very often on coin community anymore. Definitely looks sleak man, good design eye is always helpful with development talent.

Can I also suggest to build something like a live block explorer like the ones bitcoin has (I think it was like a bubble or something, the minor the coin exchange the smaller the sound, the bigger btc exchanged the higher the sound type deal). I know it is completely useless but I used to like it so much and now its gone, maybe we can bring it back with XRP.
9712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | ARDOR | Scalable Blockchain-as-a-Service Platform | Proof of Stake on: May 13, 2017, 02:37:45 PM
So let me see if I got this right. The NXT COIN HOLDERS will get 50% and than Ardor TEAM gets the other 50% ?
What kind of equality is that ? Why doesn’t all ardor holders get it as well ?

This is the kind of stuff that makes people question the integrity of the team and the passion behind it, wondering if they are doing it because they believe in it or they want to make some quick gains.
9713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Losing Faith in Bitcoin? on: May 13, 2017, 02:15:38 PM
we are all angry and sad about bitcoin and how miners are blocking the progress but i don't think any of us is losing faith in bitcoin. specially because we old users of bitcoin uderstand it well enough.
and the new comers are not losing faith either because they just started and paying a higher fee is not a problem when you are coming from a fiat system where you always paid much higher fees.
Yes I am not losing my faith because even 0.15 million transactions are strucking for finding confirmations, I am able to get my transactions by paying 200 to 250 satoshi per byte which might be bigger compared too what I have paid some six months back, still I am good as I am not paying similar to I have do with paypal transactions.

Those 0.15 million transactions were initiated to spam the network for directly empathizing something. I guess they may not be successful with their attempts.
9714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: May 13, 2017, 01:58:57 PM
I think Bitcoin will be great in 2017, the price increase just said it so.  There will be couples of ATH breaking and a possible $2000 per bitcoin a piece is expected.  Legalization of Bitcoin in different country will push thru and more country will recognize bitcoin as money thus government will try to implement tax on bitcoin transactions.
No doubt buddy the 2017 for now is going great for the Bitcoin as many of the people are adopting it and many are investing in it. This is making a path easy for the price to grow high. The recognition of the BTC is grown wide, it is widely accepted and recognized and many of the countries are thinking to the legislations in the law to legalize it.
Of course everyone coming here to adopt the bitcoin system is here for the reason that we want a better future and we know that the BTC have the scope with the help of which we can make both our present and future better. So everyone here using the BTC is actually attached to avail the opportunities in the right direction so to earn a good amount of the BTC to have fun from it. The 2017 still have to go with a lot more progress for the BTC.
9715  Economy / Economics / Re: Moment for buying or selling? on: May 13, 2017, 12:44:46 PM
I was thinking, because of Bitcoin price skyrocketed, would it be wise to buy bitcoin now? I have some bitcoin in wallet, but nothing much, and i was thinking to buy some bitcoin more. But because of price rising in last few days i am not sure what to do, because if i buy now, maybe price will go down and ill lose profit, or maybe it will go up and i did not buy so ill lose profit too. What are your thinking on matter and what do you think how much will price of bitcoin rise this year?
Bitcoin prices may find some correction from current levels, but certainly it will bounce back in near future itself so buying right now is highly recommended. One basic thumb rule of bitcoin investment must be do not rush for booking profits. If you are ready to hold your bitcoin for years then this must be right time to secure some more bitcoin in your wallet.

Prices will skyrocket more, if you want to avoid regretting later, buying right now is highly recommended still act at your own responsibilities.
9716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is betting a good choice for a newbie? on: May 13, 2017, 08:05:38 AM
Its not bad to play gambling for sometime but if those money came from doing hard work then you are risking for it to lose since you will do betting or rather shall we say gambling. We do know that gambling make us lose if we arent lucky enough and if you do value your money too much then get out of this motives and better to use it on priorities.Gambling is just okay for leisure times or when you do have extra money.
Thats right if you can avoid playing do it, gambling cant be a way for anyone to earn money. for newbie i think there is no specific game that is fit for them, its better to play a game that you are most aware of just be careful and dont be so greedy.

Agree as a newbie sort of find a new way to earn not from gambling, well you can play gambling too but the thought is if you want to earn from gambling then its not a good start. just find another way, do trading if you like you have to start with small amount of money and make profit from it then profit is profit
But I feel gambling must be a good choice for all the people regardless of they are newbies are experienced in gambling industry but only for the purpose of finding entertainment.

More significantly, gambling will suit newbie when they are sticking with some basic principles of staying safe in gambling. Yes, they should not add any bankroll from their hard earned money but they should make use of free giveaways like faucets then they can find gambling/betting as a very good choice for their free times.
9717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your favorite casino game or slot? on: May 13, 2017, 07:15:38 AM
What is your favorite casino game to play or slot and why?
My favorite game is dice, it is entertaining and anyone can play it since it is not really difficult to understand but I also like other games like sports bets, since I already enjoy watching sports betting on it and makes it even more entertaining.
No doubt that gambling is very easy to play, as you do not require any skill or experience not even proper knowledge, because we totally depend on our luck while playing dice games.

But I think it is more difficult to make money in dice games because to lucky for every time is possible and that is the reason that I mostly play dice games for fun and enjoyment, while for making money I use to play gambling on sports gambling where I can use my skill and experience.
9718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I have found a long term and strong dice strategy. on: May 13, 2017, 06:49:27 AM
Profits and losses from dicing happening everyday more preciously every hours. Practically you will be having enough knowledge about your dice gambling but you will not be having right time to apply your knowledge and experience with it.

Because in less than 30 seconds everything will be finished off in dice gambling. But you may need at least some 5 minutes to think and apply your knowledge.
You must be right because sometimes I want to stop my automated dice betting, but before I am clicking the stop button there would be some 3 to 5 rolls would have been completed in between fraction of seconds. For this reason I do go for manual betting but I'm getting bored so quickly before I am evaluating my strategies.

Automated betting is most preferable method of gambling for me, still I'm not finding my desired results out of it. I'm afraid I may not find it for ever. Still I am not interested on checking OP's strategy as I am sure there will be less possibility of anything positively we can get against dicing for free of cost.

But developing own strategy must be another form of fun, we can enjoy along gambling. I do not want to spoil the party by utilizing someone's strategy.
9719  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price overvalued? Price Today: $1,827 on: May 13, 2017, 05:53:50 AM
And its already 1600 as of now and still continuing to dive , I have converted my btc to my local currency temporarily for another possible price decrease...
It is close again to $1,700 I don't worry at all, this is just a normal movement of bitcoin's price. And I guess it's getting ready for a real bubble and with that bubble it's very possible that the price can reach to $5k up to $10k and after that price increase then the bubble will be popped very soon.
It maybe a bubble but the chances to get burst will be very less when its appreciations happens along with mass adoptions.

Yes, not just the same traders and investors keep buying bitcoins but new investors from around the globe are rushing into bitcoin as new peaks of bitcoin makes them interested to move their investments from stocks and gold into bitcoins.

As long as bitcoin is being covered for massive rally and for impressive market cap, I guess this will keep on happening and hence there will be no chances for the bubble to pop up. But I agree there would be more possibilities for corrections time to time as its is just part of any trading, those fluctuations are just another entry point for new investors.
9720  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin lose value after today's cyber attacks in the UK? on: May 12, 2017, 07:34:06 PM
The cyber attack on chains of hospital in UK, I believe has nothing to do with bitcoin as there were no news about bitcoin related ransom or anything similar to that.

Today koren exchanges are reaching price levels above $2050 (like how Indian markets were doing some times back), will you relate this into bitcoin's today's small pull back. I guess that must be due to some whales are booking profits or usually market gets power time to time to continue its rally which might be happening ?
